1.Detection of colorectal advanced neoplasms among the cancer screening population in urban areas of Henan Province and analysis on its influencing factors

		                        			Objective:To analyze the detection of colorectal advanced neoplasms in the population who underwent colonoscopy screening in Henan Province as part of the Urban China Cancer Screening Program and its influencing factors.Methods:A cross-sectional study design was employed. Based on the Cancer Screening Program conducted in Henan Province, the study enrolled 7 454 urban residents who manifested no symptoms and were recruited from eight cities in the province, including Zhengzhou, Zhumadian, Anyang, Luoyang, Nanyang, Jiaozuo, Xinxiang, and Puyang from October 2013 to October 2019, and participated in colonoscopy screening. The χ 2 test was used to compare the detection rates of colorectal advanced neoplasms among participants with different characteristics, and a multivariate logistic stepwise regression model was used to analyze the factors affecting the detection rates. Results:A total of 7 454 subjects underwent colonoscopy screening, and 112 cases of colorectal advanced neoplasms were detected. Multivariate logistic regression analysis suggested that older age, smoking, higher meat intake, history of diabetes, and family history of colorectal cancer in a first-degree relative were risk factors for colorectal advanced neoplasms. The detection rate was significantly higher in people aged 60-74 years compared with those aged 40-49 years, with an odds ratio ( OR) of 2.04 (95% CI: 1.23-3.38).The rates were higher in people who smoked than those who did not smoke, with an OR of 2.21 (95% CI: 1.48-3.31), and in people who consumed more meat than those who consumed less, with an OR of 1.53 (95% CI: 1.04-2.26). Those with diabetes had a higher detection rate compared with those without, with an OR of 1.69 (95% CI: 1.07-2.69), and those with a first-degree family history of colorectal cancer had a higher detection rate than those without, with an OR of 1.64 (95% CI: 1.09-2.46). Conclusion:The detection rate of colorectal advanced neoplasms through colonoscopy screening in Henan Province covered by the Urban China Cancer Screening Program is 1.50%. 2.The 5-year relative survival rate among cancer patients in Henan province of China, 2015-2019

		                        			Objective:To analyze the 5-year relative survival rate of cancer in Henan province based on cancer registration data.Methods:Cancer survival data were extracted from the cancer registration database of Henan province with the diagnosis date between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2019 were included. The closing date of follow-up was set as December 31, 2019. The 5-year relative survival rate of cancer was calculated using the period survival analysis method and the Ederer II method in the R package "periodR", and the interest period was between 2015 and 2019.Results:During the period of 2015-2019, the overall 5-year relative survival rate of cancer patients in Henan province was 43.6%, and after age-standardization, it was 40.2%. The overall 5-year relative survival rate showed the characteristics of higher survival rate in females than males (45.9% vs 34.7%, Z=39.60, P<0.001) and higher survival rate in urban areas than rural areas (44.9% vs 39.1%, Z=12.97, P<0.001). The 5-year relative survival rate for cancer patients among children aged 0-14 was 60.2%, and for adults aged 15 and above, it was 43.5%, which was standardized to 40.2% after age adjustment. There are two types of cancers with a standardized 5-year relative survival rate exceeding 70% (thyroid cancer at 82.2% and breast cancer at 71.6%), and four cancers with a rate below 30% (pancreatic cancer at 18.2%, liver cancer at 19.6%, lung cancer at 24.0%, and gallbladder cancer at 26.6%). Conclusion:The cancer 5-year survival rate in Henan Province is lower than that of the national average, indicating the need for continued enhancement of cancer prevention and control measures.

5.Clinical characterization and prediction modeling of lung cancer patients with high energy metabolism

		                        			Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of high energy metabolism in lung cancer patients and its correlation with body composition,nutritional status,and quality of life,and to develop a corresponding risk prediction model.Methods Retrospectively analyzed 132 primary lung cancer patients admitted to the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2022 to May 2023,and categorized into high(n=94)and low energy metabolism group(n=38)based on their metabolic status.Differences in clinical data,body composition,Patient Generated Subjective Global Assessment(PG-SGA)scores,and European Organization for Research and treatment of Cancer(EORTC)Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core 30(QLQ-C30)scores were compared between the two groups.Logistic regression was used to identify the risk factors for high energy metabolism in lung cancer patients,and a risk prediction model was established accordingly;the Hosmer-Lemeshow test was used to assess the model fit,and the ROC curve was used to test the predictive efficacy of the model.Results Of the 132 patients with primary lung cancer,94(71.2%)exhibited high energy metabolism.Compared with low energy metabolism group,patients in high-energy metabolism group had a smoking index of 400 or higher,advanced disease staging of stage Ⅲ or Ⅳ,and higher levels of IL-6 level,low adiposity index,low skeletal muscle index,and malnutrition(P<0.05),and lower levels of total protein,albumin,hemoglobin level,and prognostic nutritional index(PNI)(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in age,gender,height,weight,BMI and disease type between the two groups(P>0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that smoking index≥400,advanced disease stage,IL-6≥3.775 ng/L,and PNI<46.43 were independent risk factors for high energy metabolism in lung cancer patients.The AUC of the ROC curve for the established prediction model of high energy metabolism in lung cancer patients was 0.834(95%CI 0.763-0.904).Conclusion The high energy metabolic risk prediction model of lung cancer patients established in this study has good fit and prediction efficiency.

7.The effects of high-intensity exercise on cardiac remodeling and nitroso-redox imbalance in rats with diabetic cardiomyopathy

		                        			Objective:To observe any effect of high-intensity exercise on cardiac remodeling and nitroso-redox imbalance in rats modeling type 1 diabetes so as to provide a theoretical basis and targets for prescribing rehabilitation exercise for patients with diabetic cardiomyopathy.Methods:Forty-five 8-week-old healthy, male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into a normal control group (NC) of 10, a diabetic control group (DMC) and a diabetic exercise group (DME). Type 1 diabetes was induced in the DMC and DME groups by injecting streptozotocin. The NC and DMC group rats were then fed quietly in their cages, while the DME group rats performed high-intensity treadmill exercise 5 times a week for 4 weeks. Forty-eight hours after the last training, cardiac structure and function were detected by echocardiography, and fasting blood glucose was measured by the glucose oxidase method. Cardiomyocyte cross-sectional area (CSA) and interstitial collagen volume fraction (CVF) were observed. Myocardial tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) content was determined chromatographically, and myocardial p47 phox and p67 phox protein, endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), and eNOS dimer and monomer protein levels were detected using western blotting. Results:Compared with the NC group, the average blood glucose, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD), myocardial CSA and CVF, and p47 phox and p67 phox protein expression had all increased significantly, but the eNOS dimer/monomer ratio and BH4 content had decreased significantly in the DMC group. In the DME group the average blood glucose, LVEDD, LVESD, myocardial CSA and CVF were significantly lower than in the DMC group, while there was no significant difference between the two groups in p47 phox or p67 phox protein expression, the eNOS dimer/monomer ratio or BH4 content. Conclusion:Short-term, high-intensity exercise can inhibit cardiac remodeling in rats with diabetic cardiomyopathy, but it does not relieve the nitro-redox imbalance.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
8.The Clinical Effect of Pretreatment with Heat-sensitive Moxibustion on Primary Dysmenorrhea and Its Influence on Uterine Artery Blood Flow: A Randomized, Blinded Controlled Trial

		                        			ObjectiveTo compare the clinical effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion before menstruation and since the first day of menstruation on primary dysmenorrhoea (PD), thereby optimizing the clinical treatment plan. MethodsSixty patients with PD were randomly divided into pretreatment group (treated before menstruation) and conventional treatment group (treated since the first day of menstruation) of 30 cases each. For all patients, the area surrounded by bilateral Zigong (EX-CA1) and bilateral Guilai (ST 29) in the supine position, and that formed by bilateral Shenshu (BL 23) and Ciliao (BL 32) in the prone position were selected for circling moxibustion (2 min), sparrow-pecking moxibustion (1 min), and then moxibustion along the channels to stimulate the moxibustion sensation and obtain two heat-sensitive points with the best sensation for treatment. In the pretreatment group, moxibustion was applied 3-7 days before the onset of menstruation, and in the conventional treatment group, moxibustion was applied on the day of menstruation. Both groups were treated once daily for 7 days per menstrual cycle for 3 consecutive cycles. The clinical outcomes of the two groups were measured before and after treatment in terms of the COX menstrual pain symptom scale (CMSS) scores, visual analogue scale for pain (VAS) scores, and uterine artery hemodynamic indicators including blood pulsation index (PI) and resistance index (RI), and the clinical effect was compared. ResultsAfter treatment, the CMSS scores, VAS scores, PI and RI in the two groups decreased, and lower scores were found in the pretreatment group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The total effective rate after treatment was 93.3% (28/30) in the pretreatment group, which was better than 73.3% (22/30) in the conventional treatment group (P<0.05). ConclusionThe clinical effect of heat-sensitive moxibustion before the menstruation for PD was better than that implemented since the first day of menstruation, by significantly improving the patients' dysmenorrhoea symptoms and uterine artery blood flow index. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
9.Analysis on the household secondary attack rates of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant and the associated factors.

		                        			Objective: To evaluate the household secondary attack rates of the SARS-CoV-2 Delta variant and the associated factors. Methods: A COVID-19 outbreak caused by the Delta variant occurred in Nanjing in July 2021. A total of 235 cases with current addresses in Nanjing were reported from 171 households. The subjects in this study were selected from household close contact(s) of infected cases. The information on household index cases and their contacts were collected, and the household secondary attack rate (HSAR) and the risk factors were analyzed by the multi-factor logistic regression model. Results: A total of 234 cases of household close contacts and 64 household secondary cases were reported from 103 households, and the HSAR was 27.4% (64/234, 95%CI:22.0% to 33.4%). The proportions of household size for 2 to 3, 4 to 5, and 6 to 9 were 64.1% (66), 26.2% (27) and 9.7% (10), respectively. A total of 35 cases of household cluster outbreaks were reported (35/103, 34.0%). The number of the first case in the household (FCH) was 103 and males accounted for 27.2% (28 cases), with the median age (Q1, Q3) of 49 (9, 56). The number of household close contacts was 234 and males accounted for 59.0% (138 cases), with the median age (Q1, Q3) of 42 (20, 55) and the median exposure period (Q1, Q3) of 3 (1, 3) days. The multi-factor logistic regression model showed that the higher HSAR was observed in the FCH with the features of airport staff (OR=2.913, 95%CI:1.469-5.774), detection from home quarantine screening (OR=6.795, 95%CI:1.761-26.219) and detection from mass screening (OR=4.239, 95%CI:1.098-16.368). Meanwhile, higher HSAR was observed in cases with longer household exposure (OR=1.221, 95%CI:1.040-1.432), non-vaccination (OR=2.963, 95%CI:1.288-6.813) and incomplete vaccinations (OR=2.842, 95%CI:0.925-8.731). Conclusion: The generation interval of the Delta variant is shortened, and the ability of transmission within the household is enhanced. 10.Present situation of myopia among primary and junior high school students in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province.

		                        			Objective: To determine the situation of myopia among primary and junior high school students from 2019 to 2021 in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Methods: Cross-sectional study. Department of Ophthalmology, The Affiliated People's Hospital of Ningbo University, carried out a cross-sectional study by reviewing the results of five times visual acuity screens among primary and junior high school students from 2019 to 2021 in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The myopia rate, High myopia rate and spherical equivalent refraction were calculated according to the uncorrected distance visual acuity and non-cycloplegic subjective refraction. Chi-square test and analysis of variance were used to analysis the difference of myopia among term, sex and eye. Results: The visual acuity screen had been completed five times from 2019 to 2021 in Yinzhou District, with a total of 458 654 people, of which 454 812 people met the inclusion criteria. The myopia rate of each screen is 56.6%(50 443/89 122),52.5%(48 463/92 311),63.7%(57 968/91 002),53.2%(48 351/90 886),64.4%(58 920/91 491). The rate of Myopia increased gradually with promoting to high grade, and it was obviously in low grade,up to 17.6%. Conclusion: The myopia rate of primary and junior high school students was raising volatility from 2019 to 2021 in Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province.
