Ovarian cancer has become the most lethal gynecological tumor due to the difficulty in early diagnosis, the late stage when diagnosed and the high recurrence rate.Resistance to platinum-based anti-tumor chemotherapy drugs is an important reason for the poor prognosis of ovarian cancer.circular RNA(circRNA)is more stable than mRNA in cells due to its special structure, and it is involved in the regulation of the occurrence, development and chemotherapy resistance of a variety of tumors.circRNA can be used as a competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA)of miRNA to bind to proteins, and regulates the phenotypic polarization of macrophages,it can also be used as an exosomal circRNA to regulate the sensitivity of platinum resistance in ovarian cancer.circRNA is expected to be a new marker of platinum resistance and a new target for the treatment of platinum resistance. In order to further explore the relationship between circRNA and platinum resistance in ovarian cancer, this article summarizes the recent literature related to circRNA and platinum resistance in ovarian cancer.

Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2024;33(6):532-538
Objective:To explore the influence of temperament between parenting style and externalizing problem behaviors in school-age children. Methods:In October 2017, a stratified cluster sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 380 school-age children in Aruhorqin Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. All the school-age children were assessed by the Achenbach child behavior checklist, parenting style scale, and middle childhood temperament questionnaire.Mediation models were established by the PROCESS macro program of SPSS, and the mediating effect was tested by the Bootstrap method. Results:The scores of various scales for school-age children were as follows: father's authoritative parenting style(3.77±1.11), father's authoritarian parenting style(1.55±0.68), father's indulgent parenting style(1.25±0.57), mother's authoritative parenting style(3.86±1.16), mother's authoritarian parenting style(1.64±0.73), mother's indulgent parenting style(1.25±0.61), activity level(2.42±0.71), attention dispersion(3.78±0.81), externalization problem behaviors 3.0(4.0).For school-age children, the scores of externalization problem behaviors were negatively correlated with the scores of authoritative parenting style( r=-0.15, -0.11, both P<0.05), and positively correlated with authoritarian and indulgent parenting style ( r=0.17-0.33, all P<0.05). The scores of externalization problem behaviors were positively correlated with eight temperament dimensions, such as adaptability, emotional essence, reaction threshold, attention dispersion, persistence, rhythmicity, activity level and reaction intensity( r=0.17-0.42, all P<0.05). After controlling for age and gender, attention dispersion played a masking effect on the influence of authoritative parenting style on children's externalizing problem behaviors, with the indirect effect accounting for 21.05%(|0.04/-0.19|) and 26.67%(|0.04/-0.15|) of the direct effect respectively. Attention dispersion partially mediated the impact of father's authoritarian parenting style on children's externalization problem behaviors, with the mediating effect accounting for 10.71%(0.03/0.28) of the total effect. Response intensity partially mediated the impact of authoritarian parenting style on children's externalizing problem behaviors, with the mediating effect accounting for 25.00%(0.07/0.28) and 27.58%(0.08/0.29) of the total effect respectively. Conclusion:Temperament plays a mediating role between parenting styles and externalizing problem behaviors among school-age children. A nurturing environment suitable for children's temperament should be created to prevent the occurrence of externalizing problem behaviors among school-age children.

Objective:To elucidate the quasispecies variation of 3′ half-length genome in HIV-1 CRF103_01B-infected patients in Beijing using single genome amplification (SGA).Methods:This study enrolled six CRF103_01B-infected patients who were diagnosed during a drug resistance monitoring for newly diagnosed cases or newly treated cases with antiviral therapy in Beijing from 2017 to 2020. RNA was extracted from their plasma samples, and 3′ end of cDNA was diluted by serial dilution method after reverse transcription. Nested PCR was used to amplify the 3′ half-length genome sequences of HIV-1 quasispecies. MEGA 11 was used to construct Neighbor-Joining (NJ) tree and calculate the intrahost genetic distance. Genetic variation in HIV-1 quasispecies was visualized by online Highlighter tool. BootScan analysis was performed using Simplot 3.5 software to analyze inter-quasispecies recombination. Virus tropism was predicted by online Geno2pheno tool. Results:Among the six CRF103_01B-infected patients, five were men who have sex with men. A total of 144 3′ half-length genome SGA sequences (19-36 sequences/case) were obtained. The NJ tree based on the 3′ half-length genome of HIV-1 quasispecies revealed different degrees of genetic diversity. The HIV-1 quasispecies in BL4748-00 case of acute infection has the least variation with the intrahost distance of 0.002±0.000, showing genetic homogeneity. The quasispecies sequences from BL4981-00, BL3150-00 and BL3558-00 cases formed at least three subclusters, respectively, with different evolutionary directions, and their intrahost distance ranked from 0.031±0.004 to 0.016±0.002 (BL3150-00>BL3558-00>BL4981-00). The quasispecies sequences from the couple BL3022-00 (female) and BL3023-00 clustered into a large monophyletic cluster (bootstrap value=100%), and the intrahost distance of the latter (0.025±0.003) was higher than that of the former (0.019±0.002). Inter-quasispecies recombination was observed in BL3558-00 case. The quasispecies from the six patients were CCR5-tropic viruses. Conclusions:The diversity of quasispecies variation in CRF103_01B-infected patients is related to disease progress. Genetic homogeneity is observed in acute HIV infection, while multiple evolutionary directions are detected in chronic infection. Co-infection or superinfection cases are not found, but there are recombination events among quasispecies in some cases.

Objective:To analyze the characteristics of pancreatic metastatic tumors and evaluate the clinical value of endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration or biopsy (EUS-FNA/B) in their diagnosis. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical, radiological, and pathological data of 11 cases with pancreatic metastatic tumors diagnosed by EUS-FNA/B at the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University between January 2011 and December 2020. Tumor size, number of lesions, time interval between diagnosis of metastatic lesions and primary tumors, radiological and EUS findings and pathological types were recorded, and success rate and diagnostic rate of EUS-FNA/B were analyzed. Results:The 11 patients with pancreatic metastatic tumors had an age range of 43 to 76 years, including 7 males and 4 females. Eight cases presented with symptoms of abdominal pain and poor appetite, 1 case had cervical lymph node enlargement, and 2 cases were detected during routine physical examination. Five cases had abnormal serum tumor markers. All patients had a confirmed history of primary tumors, and the median time interval between diagnosis of pancreatic metastatic lesions and primary tumors was 24 months (-1-124 months). Seven cases had solitary lesions, and 4 cases had multiple nodules under EUS. Eight cases were initially diagnosed clinically as pancreatic lesions or tumor, while 3 cases were considered as pancreatic metastatic tumor. All of 11 cases underwent EUS-FNA/B and were histologically confirmed as pancreatic metastatic tumors. The most common pathological type was lung small cell neuroendocrine cancer ( n=4), followed by renal cell carcinoma ( n=3), and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ( n=1), pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma( n=1), malignant melanoma ( n=1), and gastric adenocarcinoma ( n=1). Conclusions:The pancreas is not a common target site for tumor metastasis.EUS-FNA/B is a relatively safe minimally invasive method for the diagnosis of pancreatic metastatic tumors.

Objective:To investigate the relationship between white blood cells, neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio(NLR), platelet-lymphocyte ratio(PLR) and monocyte-lymphocyte ratio(MLR) with patients suffering from first episode depression. Methods:This retrospective study was conducted among inpatients of Hebei General Hospital from January 2021 to December 2021.Ultimately, 193 patients with first-episode depression were enrolled.According to the score of Hamilton depression scale-24 (HAMD-24), the patients were divided into mild-moderate depression group(20≤HAMD-24<35 score, n=98) and severe depression group (HAMD-24 score ≥35, n=95). White blood cells and the counts of each cell subtype were detected and the NLR, MLR and PLR were calculated.SPSS 25.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data.Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare differences in the two groups and Binary Logistic regression analyses were performed to recognize the predictive factors of the severity of first episode depression. Results:(1) The white blood cells and NLR in the severe depression group were significantly higher than those in the mild-moderate depression group (white blood cells: 5.77(2.05)×10 9/L vs 5.11(1.31)×10 9/L; NLR: 1.86 (1.04) vs 1.57(0.55), P<0.05). There were no significant differences in PLR and MLR between the two groups ( P>0.05). (2)Multiple regression analysis of NLR, white blood cells and HAMD-24 score showed that there were significant differences in the effect of different white blood cells and NLR levels on HAMD-24 score( B=1.398, P=0.003; B=2.624, P=0.001). (3)Binary Logistic regression revealed that white blood cell count and NLR were risk factors for the severity of depression patients( OR were 1.612 and 2.336, respectively, P<0.05). Conclusion:The results suggest that white blood cells and NLR may be relate with the severity of first episode depression.

Objectives: To analyze the reasons of missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis on anomalous origin of left coronary artery from pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) by echocardiography. Methods: This is a retrospective study. Patients with ALCAPA who underwent surgical treatment in Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from August 2008 to December 2021 were included. According to the results of preoperative echocardiography and surgical diagnosis, the patients were divided into confirmed group or missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis group. The results of preoperative echocardiography were collected, and the specific echocardiographic signs were analyzed. According to the experience of the doctors, the echocardiographic signs were divided into four types, namely clear displayed, vague/doubtful displayed, no display and no notice, and the display rate of each sign was calculated (display rate=number of clearly displayed cases/total number of cases×100%). By referring the surgical data, we analyzed and recorded the pathological anatomy and pathophysiological characteristics of the patients, and the rate of missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis of echocardiography in patients with different characteristics was compared. Results: A total of 21 patients were enrolled, including 11 males, aged 1.8 (0.8, 12.3) years (range 1 month to 47 years). Except for one patient with anomalous origin of left anterior descending artery, the others were all originated from the main left coronary artery (LCA). There were 13 cases of ALCAPA in infant and children, and 8 cases of adult ALCAPA. There were 15 cases in the confirmed group (diagnostic accuracy was 71.4% (15/21)), and 6 cases in the missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis group (three cases were misdiagnosed as primary endocardial fibroelastosis, two cases were misdiagnosed as coronary-pulmonary artery fistula; and one case was missed diagnosis). The working years of the physicians in the confirmed group were longer than those in the missed diagnosis/misdiagnosed group ((12.8±5.6) years vs. (8.3±4.7) years, P=0.045). In infants with ALCAPA, the detection rate of LCA-pulmonary shunt (8/10 vs. 0, P=0.035) and coronary collateral circulation (7/10 vs. 0, P=0.042) in confirmed group was higher than that in missed diagnosis/misdiagnosed group. In adult ALCAPA patients, the detection rate of LCA-pulmonary artery shunt was higher in confirmed group than that in missed diagnosis/misdiagnosed group (4/5 vs. 0, P=0.021). The missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis rate of adult type was higher than that of infant type (3/8 vs. 3/13, P=0.410). The rate of missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis was higher in patients with abnormal origin of branches than that of abnormal origin of main trunk (1/1 vs. 5/21, P=0.028). The rate of missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis in patients with LCA running between the main and pulmonary arteries was higher than that distant from the main pulmonary artery septum (4/7 vs. 2/14, P=0.064). The rate of missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis in patients with severe pulmonary hypertension was higher than that in patients without severe pulmonary hypertension (2/3 vs. 4/18, P=0.184). The reasons with an echocardiography missed diagnosis/misdiagnosis rate of≥50% included that (1) the proximal segment of LCA ran between the main and pulmonary arteries; (2) abnormal opening of LCA at the right posterior part of the pulmonary artery; (3) abnormal origin of LCA branches; (4) complicated with severe pulmonary hypertension. Conclusions: Echocardiography physicians' knowledge of ALCAPA and diagnostic vigilance are critical to the accuracy of diagnosis. Attention should be paid to the pediatric cases with no obvious precipitating factors of left ventricular enlargement, regardless of whether the left ventricular function is normal or not, the origin of coronary artery should be routinely explored.

Objective:To study the infection of human rhinovirus, respiratory syncytial virus and human adenovirus in Jinan from April 2018 to March 2019, and analyze epidemiological characteristics of human adenovirus. Methods:All of 1969 nasopharyngeal swabs were collected from hospitalized patients with acute respiratory tract infections in The Fourth People’s Hospital of Jinan, Qilu Children′s Hospital of Shandong University, Peoples Hospital of Zhangqiu District from April 2018 to March 2019, fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect the positive rate of human rhinovirus, respiratory syncytial virus and human adenovirus. Seven adenovirus positive samples were isolated and examined by sequencing, then we determined adenovirus type, constructed gene phylogenetic trees for analysis. Results:Of the 1969 samples, 242 were positive, the total positive rate was 12.30% (242/1969), the positive rate was 3.00% (59/1969) for rhinovirus, 6.30% (124/1969) for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and 3.86% (76/1969) for adenovirus. There was no significant difference in the detective rate of rhinovirus in different age groups (Fisher′s exact test value =8.376, P=0.720), the positive rates of RSV and adenovirus in different age groups was statistically significant ( χ2=19.28, 12.16; P=0.001, 0.016). There was a statistically significant difference in the positive rate of adenovirus between different sexes ( χ2=14.33, P<0.001), and there was no statistically significant difference in the positive rate of rhinovirus and RSV between males and females ( χ2=0.30, 2.90, P=0.862, 0.089). Comparing the positive rates of viral nucleic acid in different months, we found that the positive rate of rhinovirus, RSV and adenovirus separately reached the highest in October, December and November (8.61%, 26.50% and 8.84%). We constructed a gene phylogenetic tree after seven positive samples of adenoviruses were sequenced, by the molecular typing method we detected that seven adenovirus-positive samples were all HAdV-2 type. Conclusions:By comparing the epidemiological trends of human rhinovirus, RSV and human adenovirus in Jinan from April 2018 to March 2019 in different ages, genders, and months, providing reference basis for the early prevention and clinical treatment of acute respiratory tract infection.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOAC) in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Methods: This study was a prospective cohort study. The data of this study were based on the Chinese Atrial Fibrillation Registry (CAFR) Study, which was a prospective, multicenter registry study. The CAFR Study enrolled inpatients and outpatients with AF from 31 hospitals. Patients with AF and HCM were selected from August 2011 to December 2018. The patients were divided into NOAC-treated group and warfarin-treated group. General clinical data, echocardiographic results and treatment options were collected and compared between the two groups. Patients were followed up every 6 months; outcome events included effective endpoint events(thromboembolism)and safety endpoint events(major bleeding). The incidence of endpoint events in both groups was calculated and compared. Cox proportional hazards regression models and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis were performed to determine the association between NOAC use and endpoint events. Results: A total of 393 patients were included (average age: (60.5±11.8) years, 252 men (64.1%)). There were 133 (34.0%) patients in the NOAC-treated group and 260 (66.0%) patients in the warfarin-treated group. Compared with the warfarin-treated group, the patients in the NOAC-treated group had a higher proportion of paroxysmal AF, catheter ablation of AF, a lower proportion of hypertension, ischemic stroke/transient ischemic attack (TIA), lower heart rate, lower usage rate of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEI)/angiotensin receptor blockers(ARB), β-blockers, non-dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers(NDH-CCB)(P<0.05). There were no significant differences on the echocardiographic results, including interventricular septal thickness, left ventricular posterior wall thickness, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter, left atrial diameter, left ventricular ejection fraction(P>0.05). After a follow-up of 42 (24, 60)months, the incidence rates of thromboembolism were 1.63 and 2.10 events per 100 person-years for NOAC-and warfarin-treated group, and those of major bleeding were 0.66 and 1.03 events per 100 person-years. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed survival rates free from endpoint events were similar between NOAC-treated group and warfarin-treated group(thromboembolism-free survival comparison, P=0.476; major bleeding-free survival comparison, P=0.855). Cox multivariate regression analysis revealed that there was no significant difference on risk of thromboembolism(HR=1.21, 95%CI: 0.42-3.50, P=0.720) and major bleeding(HR=1.50, 95%CI: 0.27-8.41, P=0.642) between NOAC-treated and warfarin-treated group. Conclusion: Patients with AF and HCM can be safely and effectively treated with NOAC.
