		                        			OBJECTIVE
To develop a DNA authenticity identification kit of Gastrodia elata that combined DNA extraction technology with PCR technology, and to evaluate the performance of the kit methodologically.
METHODS
The ITS2 sequences of Gastrodia elata and its common forgeries, such as amabilis root, dahlia tuber and potato, were found by the National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI). DNAMAN was used for multi-sequence alignment, and NCBI-primer-blast was used to design specific primers of Gastrodia elata. Improved DNA extraction method to ensure efficient extraction of authentic Gastrodia elata and its common forgeries genomic DNA, UV spectrophotometry was used to measure the concentration and purity. The PCR reaction system was optimized, the composition and reaction conditions of the kit were determined, and the commercially available gastrodia elata samples were randomly sampled.
RESULTS
The DNA purity OD260/OD280 values of the samples extracted by the developed kit were (1.87±0.13). The minimum detection limit was 10 ng·μL−1, and the result of repeated detection was the same for 3 times. Repeated freezing and thawing for 5, 10, 15, 20 times had no effect on the detection effect, and it could be stored at −20℃ for 1 year, among 10 commercially available gastrodia elata samples tested, 7 were authentic and 3 were counterfeit.
CONCLUSION
The DNA authenticity test kit is highly specific, sensitive, reproducible and stable, and the test results are accurate, it is suitable for the rapid identification of asparagus and its common forgeries.

Traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome (TSOFS) is a symptom complex caused by nerve entrapment in the supraorbital fissure after skull base trauma. If the compressed cranial nerve in the supraorbital fissure is not decompressed surgically, ptosis, diplopia and eye movement disorder may exist for a long time and seriously affect the patients′ quality of life. Since its overall incidence is not high, it is not familiarized with the majority of neurosurgeons and some TSOFS may be complicated with skull base vascular injury. If the supraorbital fissure surgery is performed without treatment of vascular injury, it may cause massive hemorrhage, and disability and even life-threatening in severe cases. At present, there is no consensus or guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS that can be referred to both domestically and internationally. To improve the understanding of TSOFS among clinical physicians and establish standardized diagnosis and treatment plans, the Skull Base Trauma Group of the Neurorepair Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Traumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Editorial Committee of Chinese Journal of Trauma organized relevant experts to formulate Chinese expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome ( version 2024) based on evidence of evidence-based medicine and clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment. This consensus puts forward 12 recommendations on the diagnosis, classification, treatment, efficacy evaluation and follow-up of TSOFS, aiming to provide references for neurosurgeons from hospitals of all levels to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS.

		                        			 Purpose:
Radiation-induced dermatitis (RD) is a common side-effect of therapeutic ionizing radiation that can severely affect patient quality of life. This study aimed to develop a risk prediction model for the occurrence of RD in patients with cervical carcinoma undergoing chemoradiotherapy using electronic medical records (EMRs).

		                        			Methods:
Using EMRs, the clinical data of patients who underwent simultaneous radiotherapy and chemotherapy at a tertiary cancer hospital between 2017 and 2022 were retrospectively collected, and the patients were divided into two groups: a training group and a validation group. A predictive model was constructed to predict the development of RD in patients who underwent concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy for cervical cancer. Finally, the model's efficacy was validated using a receiver operating characteristic curve.

		                        			Results:
The incidence of radiation dermatitis was 89.5% (560/626) in the entire cohort, 88.6% (388/438) in the training group, and 91.5% (172/188) in the experimental group. The nomogram was established based on the following factors: age, the days between the beginning and conclusion of radiotherapy, the serum albumin after chemoradiotherapy, the use of single or multiple drugs for concurrent chemotherapy, and the total dose of afterloading radiotherapy. Internal and external verification indicated that the model had good discriminatory ability. Overall, the model achieved an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of .66.

		                        			Conclusions
The risk of RD in patients with cervical carcinoma undergoing chemoradiotherapy is high. A risk prediction model can be developed for RD in cervical carcinoma patients undergoing chemoradiotherapy, based on over 5 years of EMR data from a tertiary cancer hospital.

ObjectiveTo perform a predictive analysis of the quality marker(Q-Marker) for the anticoagulant activity of Kunning granules. MethodThe chemical components of Kunning granules were analyzed by ultra high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight tandem mass spectrometry(UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 column(2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.8 μm) with the mobile phase of acetonitrile(A)-25 mmol∙L-1 ammonium acetate aqueous solution(B) for gradient elution (0-5 min, 5%-22%A; 5-10 min, 22%-30%A; 10-15 min, 30%-95%A; 15-20 min, 95%-5%A; 20-30 min, 5%A), flow rate of 0.2 mL∙min-1, column temperature at 30 ℃, injection volume of 1 μL, electrospray ionization(ESI), positive and negative ion detection modes. Interaction analysis between the targets of chemical components and the targets of abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB) was performed by network pharmacology, and the key components were screened through network topology analysis. The fingerprints of 10 batches of Kunning granules were established by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), the anticoagulant activity of the granules was determined by blood coagulation method and fibrinogen plate method, and the spectrum-effective relationship was established. The components co-occurring in the topological analysis and spectrum-effective relationship were selected as Q-Markers, and their anticoagulant activities were verified and confirmed. ResultA total of 475 chemical components were identified from Kunning Granule, of which 22 key components such as salvianolic acid B, paeoniflorin, naringin and neohesperidin, were the potential material basis for the treatment of AUB. The spectrum-effective analysis showed that peaks 7(paeoniflorin), 9(naringin), 10(neohesperidin) and 11(salvianolic acid B) were the optimal principal components, and in vitro activity test showed that these four components could better characterize their anticoagulant activity. ConclusionSalvianolic acid B, paeoniflorin, neohesperidin and naringin may be Q-Markers for the anticoagulant activity of Kunning granules.
