The clinical data of 98 patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone who were admitted to the First Hospital of Lanzhou University from September 2011 to October 2022 and 53 patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone who were admitted to Gansu Provincial Hospital May 2014 to October 2021 were collected. The age of 151 patients was 29(25,32)years. Observation indicators: (1) situations of patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone; (2) risk factors of acute biliopancreatic com-plications in patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone; (3) construction of prediction model for acute biliopancreatic complications in patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone. Measurement data with normal distribution were represented as Mean± SD, and comparison between groups was conducted using the independent t test. Measurement data with skewed distribution were represented as M( Q1, Q3), and comparison between groups was conducted using the Mann-Whitney U test. Count data were described as absolute numbers, and comparison between groups was conducted using the chi-square test. Comparison of ordinal data was conducted using the rank sum test. Univariate and multi-variate analyses were conducted using the Logistic regression model. Nomogram prediction model was conducted, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate discri-mination of the nomogram predic-tion model. The calibration curve and clinical decision curve were used to evaluate calibration and net clinical benefit of the nomogram prediction model. Internal validation of the prediction model was performed by applying 10-fold cross-validation. Results:(1) Situations of patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone. The total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, prepregnancy body mass index (<18.5 kg/m 2, 18.5?24.0 kg/m 2, >24.0 kg/m 2), gesta-tional period (early, mid, late), primipara (positive, negative), stone type (solitary, non solitary), diameter of stone (≤10 mm, >10 mm), gallbladder wall thickness (≥4 mm, <4 mm) were (4.9±1.4)mmol/L, 1.88(1.22,2.93)mmol/L, 1.48(1.22,1.83)mmol/L, (2.8±0.9)mmol/L, 13, 75, 58, 37, 45, 69, 86, 65, 37, 114, 89, 62, 38, 113 in the 151 patients of pregnancy combined with gallbladder stone. Journal of Chinese Physician 2023;25(4):481-485
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease affecting multiple systems throughout the body, which may cause serious visual impairment when the fundus is involved. In recent years, " looking at health through the eyes" is a hot research topic. Studies on SLE have shown that retinopathy is highly correlated with disease activity. Even there is no clinical manifestation, changes in retinal microvessel density and structure also show a certain correlation with the course of SLE and other organs′ involvement. Therefore, the evaluation of fundus features in SLE patients is not only helpful for early intervention and improvement of patients′ visual function prognosis, but also of great significance for the diagnosis of SLE and prediction of other systems′ impairment.

Abstract:
To explore the effect of eriodictyol(Eri) on the proliferation and apoptosis of triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells and its possible mechanism.
Methods:
MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with different concentrations of Eri. MTT method was used to detect the level of cell proliferation. Plate clone method was used to detect the the level of cell clonality. The apoptosis level was detected by flow cytometry. Western blot was used to detect protein expression levels of Cleaved-caspase-3, Bax, Bcl-2, c-Myc and AR. MDA-MB-231 cells were transfected with si-c-Myc and then combined treatment with 50 μmol/L Eri. MTT method was used to detect the level of cell proliferation. The apoptosis level was detected by flow cytometry. Western blot was used to detect protein expression levels of c-Myc and AR.
Results:
Eri inhibited the proliferation activity of MDA-MB-231 cells in a dose and time-dependent manner. Treatment with different concentrations of Eri reduced cloning ability of MDA-MB-231 cells, promoted cell apoptosis, up-regulated the protein expression levels of Cleaved-caspase-3 and Bax, and down-regulated the protein expression level of Bcl-2, c-Myc and AR. Knockdown of c-Myc expression inhibited MDA-MB-231 cells growth, promoted cell apoptosis, and down-regulated the protein expression level of c-Myc and AR, while combined treatment with 50 μmol/L Eri could not enhance the situation.
Conclusion
Er inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis in triple-negative breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells, which may be achieved by inhibiting c-Myc/AR axis.

Objective To investigate the distribution of urinary iodine level and its relationship with thyroid function in Tibetan adults in Lhasa. Methods Tibetan residents living in Lhasa and its surrounding countryside were recruited by the method of multistage randomized cluster sampling. Their salt iodine, drinking water iodine, urinary iodine, and thyroid function levels were detected. According to the urinary iodine level, these subjects were divided into the iodine deficiency group ( urinary iodine<100μg/L) , the iodine enough group ( urine iodine 100-199μg/L) , the iodine adequate group ( urine iodine 200-299 μg/L ) and the iodine excessive group ( urine iodine≥300μg/L) . The differences in thyroid function among various groups were compared. Results A total of 2235 subjects were included in the study. The overall level of urinary iodine was in skewed distribution, with a median ( upper and lower quartiles) of 154 (99, 229) μg/L. The proportion of subjects with insufficient iodine intake was 25.7%, while those of the enough, adequate, and excessive groups were 41. 5%, 21. 3%, and 11. 5%, respectively. There was no significant difference in urine iodine level between males and females [152(95,219)μg/L vs 155(100,232)μg/L P>0.05]. The urinary iodine levels in residents of urban were higher than those in rural residents [157(101,232)μg/L vs 140(92,200)μg/L, P<0.05]. The urinary iodine levels in the young, middle-aged, and elderly groups were 175 ( 116,256) , 136 ( 91, 200) , and 116 ( 68, 164)μg/L respectively, showing a gradual decrease in urine iodine level with aging (P<0.05). The average salt iodine content of Tibetan adults in Lhasa was 23.16 mg/kg, and that in drinking water was 4.33μg/L. There were no significant differences in TSH levels among various iodine intake groups ( P>0.05) . The levels of thyroid peroxidase antibody ( TPOAb) and thyroglobulin antibody ( TGAb) were gradually decreased with the increase of urinary iodine level (P<0.05). Conclusion More than 50% of Tibetans are at the status of low iodine and high iodine intakes in Lhasa. Although the salt iodine content meets national standards, the drinking water iodine content is lower than that standard.

Chinese Medical Journal 2014;127(2):225-231
BACKGROUNDHyperglycemia may accelerate liver fibrosis. Currently, there is no effective treatment for liver fibrosis induced by type 2 diabetes. The study aim was to investigate whether RhoA/Rho kinase (ROCK) pathway is involved in liver fibrosis in the rats with type 2 diabetes and define the protective effects of fasudil on livers.
METHODSA rat model of type 2 diabetes was established by high fat diet combined with streptozotocin (30 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection). Animals were randomly assigned to 3 groups: control rats, untreated diabetic rats that received vehicle and fasudil-treated diabetic rats that received ROCK inhibitor fasudil hydrochloride hydrate (10 mg/kg per day, intraperitoneal injection, for 14 weeks). The morphological features of liver were observed by HE staining. Accumulation of collagen in livers was determined by Masson staining and the measurement of hydroxyproline. The mRNA expression of transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1), connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), type-I, and type-III procollagen was assessed with real-time polymerase chain reaction. The phosphorylation of myosin phosphatase target subunit-1 (MYPT1) and the protein levels of TGFβ1 and α-smooth muscle actin (a-SMA) were evaluated by Western blotting.
RESULTSCompared with control rats, untreated diabetic rats showed higher values of collagen and hydroxyproline in livers (P < 0.01), the phosphorylation of MYPT1 and the protein levels of TGFβ1 and α-SMA were increased (P < 0.01), and the mRNA expression of TGFβ1, CTGF, type-I, and type-III procollagen was upregulated (P < 0.01); compared with untreated diabetic rats, treatment with fasudil signifcantly reduced values of collagen and hydroxyproline (P < 0.01), and decreased the phosphorylation of MYPT1 and the levels of TGFβ1 and α-SMA (P < 0.01), concomitant with the downregulation of TGFβ1/CTGF, type-I, and type-III procollagen mRNA expression (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONSFasudil ameliorates liver fibrosis in rats with type 2 diabetes at least partly by inhibiting TGFβ1/CTGF pathway and α-SMA expression. Inhibition of RhoA/ROCK may be a novel therapeutic target for liver fibrosis in diabetic non-alcoholic steatohepatitis.
