		                        			Objective To investigate the relationship between tooth loss and the occurrence of esophageal cancer in a natural village in Wenfeng District, Anyang City, Henan Province. Methods A prospective cohort study was conducted to observe the occurrence of tooth loss and esophageal cancer among the asymptomatic residents of the natural village for 16 years from January 2008 to July 2024. Data were analyzed by chi-square test, binary logistic regression, and restricted cubic spline. Results Among the total population of 711 cases, 136 cases were lost to follow-up and 575 cases were included in the final statistics, including 45 cases with esophageal cancer. Significant statistical difference was found between esophageal cancer patients with and without tooth loss (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that tooth loss was associated with the occurrence of esophageal cancer (OR=3.977, 95%CI: 1.543-10.255). 		                        			Abstract
		                        			Effective response to environmental health risks is the key to ensuring the healthy growth of children. The Chinese government has implemented policies, regulations, standards and pollution control measures to promote the overall improvement of children s environmental health. However, facing the still severe traditional and emerging environmental risks, it is still necessary to further integrate multiple resources and carry out precise prevention and control of children s environmental health risks. The paper focuses on both traditional and emerging key environmental health challenges affecting children s health in China, including air pollution from solid fuels, drinking water contamination and escalating threat of climate change; and it offers systematic recommendations across three levels:advancing scientific research, strengthening government policy guidance and implementing actions in schools and communities, aiming to create a safer and healthier growth environment for children.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia complicated with piperacillin drug antibody: a case report

		                        			Objective: To investigate the clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and treatment strategies of a case of fetal/neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia (FNAIT) complicated with piperacillin drug antibody. Methods: The platelet antibodies in the mother were screened and identified by ELISA. The HLA antigens of the newborn were genotyped through PCR-SSO, while the specificity of HLA antibodies in the mother was determined using a Single Antigen kit. The drug antibody was detected by a piperacillin kit. Results: Maternal antibodies against paternally-derived platelet antigens were detected. The HLA genotypes of the newborn were identified as HLA A
       33∶03 and HLA B
       58∶01. The mother exhibited strong positive antibodies against the specific platelet antigens of the newborn, namely anti-HLA-A33 and anti-HLA-B58 antibodies. The piperacillin antibody was detected in the newborn. Following treatment of continuous intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), platelet transfusions, red blood cell transfusions and discontinuation of piperacillin treatment, the platelet count and hemoglobin levels increased in the newborn. Conclusion: The newborn in this case was diagnosed with FNAIT complicated by the presence of anti-HLA-A33 and anti-HLA-B58 antibodies, as well as drug-induced hemolytic anemia caused by piperacillin drug antibody. The condition is more complicated under the influence of dual immune antibodies. Laboratory detection techniques such as platelet antibody and drug antibody tests can assist in early clinical diagnosis. 4.Integration of nuclear and radiation emergency medical treatment in the national emergency medical rescue team

		                        			This study aims to address the specificity of nuclear and radiation medical treatment and explore the way to integrate such emergency medical treatment in national emergency medical rescue teams. By analyzing the characteristics of nuclear and radiation medical treatment, as well as the foundation, roles, and development of national emergency medical rescue teams, the study proposes a series of practical and feasible strategies, including professional knowledge training, manpower and material resource assurance, emergency response coordination mechanisms, and psychological health support. 5.The mechanism of Medicoscab tincture in the treatment of second-degree burns based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology

		                        			Objective To explore the mechanism of Medicoscab tincture in the treatment of second-degree burns based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology. Methods The effective components of the tincture were screened by the TCMSP; the effective components of the tincture and burn related targets were screened by GeneCards and OMIM database; Cytoscape 3.7.2 software was used to draw “Chinese medicine-disease-effective components-targets” network diagram; the related gene ontology (GO) functions and pathways of the tincture were obtained through GO enrichment analysis and Kyoto encyclo-pedia of genes and geomes (KEGG) pathway analysis on the targets through Metascape platform; the pathway bubble diagram was constructed by the pathways enriched in the KEGG database, and finally verified by AutoDockTools for molecular alignment. Results 19 effective components and 179 target intersections of Medicoscab tincture were selected. GO analysis showed the intervention burns process mainly involved the reaction of inorganic substances, the reaction of cells to nitrogen compounds, and the response to xenobiotic stimuli, as well as biological processes such as membrane rafts, vesicular cavities, transcriptional regulatory factor complexes, receptor complexes, and endoplasmic reticulum cavities. KEGG analysis showed the function mainly includes AGE-RAGE signal pathway, PI3K-Akt signal pathway, IL-17 signal pathway, TNF signal pathway, etc. Analysis of cytoscape software showed the core targets were AKT1, TNF, IL-6, GAPDH, TP53, etc. Molecular docking showed that the active components of Medicoscab tincture were docking with multiple targets, among which β- sitosterol had strong binding activity with AKT1, GAPDH and TP53. Conclusion Quercetin, kaempferol, baicalein, β-sitosterol and other core active ingredients in the tincture of making scabs, which could assist in the relief of burns, regulate the signalling pathways such as AGE-RAGE, PI3K-Akt, IL-17, TNF and so on by acting on the targets of AKT1, GAPDH, TP53, IL-6 and so on. This study laid a theoretical foundation for clarifying the mechanism of action of tincture of scab making for the treatment of burn-like diseases.

		                        			The 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium (ASCO-GI) was held from January 23 to 25, 2025. Several significant studies on the treatment of esophageal and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) cancer were presented at the symposium, highlighting notable advances, particularly in the perioperative and advanced settings. Immunotherapy has demonstrated significant promise in the neoadjuvant treatment of esophageal cancer, showing potential to become a standard treatment. Furthermore, the long-term survival benefits of combining immunotherapy with chemotherapy for advanced GEJ cancer were further validated. Key topics at the congress included the application strategies for perioperative immunotherapy, breakthroughs in combination therapy models for advanced NSCLC, and the emerging roles of biomarkers in predicting diverse treatment outcomes. 9.Evaluation of the Efficacy of Local Corticosteroid Injection in the Treatment of Idiopathic Granulomatous Mastitis: A Retrospective Cohort Study Based on Clinical Cases

		                        			 To compare the clinical efficacy of intralesional corticosteroid injection combined with topical corticosteroids versus topical corticosteroids alone in patients with idiopathic granulomatous mastitis (IGM). Patients diagnosed with IGM and treated at the Breast Surgery Department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital between October 2016 and March 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Based on treatment modalities, patients were divided into an injection group (receiving intralesional corticosteroid injections plus topical corticosteroids) and a control group (receiving topical corticosteroids alone). Clinical outcomes and recurrence rates were compared between the two groups. Seventy-eight patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were enrolled, with 51 in the injection group and 27 in the control group. The median age was 35 years (range: 22-45). The maximum lesion diameter was 8.7±2.9 cm in the injection group and 7.1±2.7 cm in the control group. Compared with the control group, the injection group showed a significantly shorter time to half remission(2.8±0.9 weeks  Compared with topical corticosteroid monotherapy, the combina-tion of intralesional corticosteroid injection and topical corticosteroids provides faster symptom control and shorter treatment duration while maintaining high efficacy and low long-term recurrence rates, offering a more effective therapeutic option for IGM patients.

		                        			The 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Annual Meeting, two of the most prestigious events in oncology, have concluded sequentially. As the most authoritative annual gatherings in lung cancer and the entire oncology field, the WCLC and ESMO conferences brought together top oncology experts and scientists from around the world to share, discuss, and publish the latest cutting-edge advancements in oncology. In both conferences, lung cancer immunotherapy remained a hot topic of considerable interest.
