Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2023;36(2):95-100
Autologous ozonized blood transfusion(AOBT) is a therapy of re-transfusion of 100-200 mL of autologous blood after shaking and agitation with appropriate amount of oxygen-ozone in vitro. The oxidation of blood through the strong oxidation of ozone can enhance the non-specific immune response of the body, regulate the internal environment and promote health. This therapy has been increasingly applied in clinical practice, while no unified standard for the operation process in terms of ozone concentration, treatment frequency and treatment course had been established. This operation process of AOBT is primarily explored in order to standardize the operation process and ensure its safety and efficacy.

In this paper, the low-field nuclear magnetic resonance technology CPMG (Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill) echo method was used to determine the cross-linking degree and cross-linking density of crospovidone (PVPP) from different manufacturers. Based on the seven physical properties of PVPP, a fingerprint spectrum (radar chart) of twenty secondary quality indicators were obtained, and three compressibility evaluation indicators, index of the parameter (IP), index of parametric profile (IPP), index of good compression (IGC) were calculated by the fingerprint spectrum. It was found that the cross-linking degree and compressibility index IP of PVPP showed a strong correlation (

Chinese Journal of Medical Genetics 2021;38(2):141-144
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the clinical characteristics and genetic variant in a Chinese pedigree affected with thiamine pyrophosphokinase deficiency (TPKD).
METHODS:
Clinical data of the pedigree were analyzed retrospectively and summarized from the perspectives of clinical manifestation, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and genotype. Relevant literature was also reviewed.
RESULTS:
The proband, a female, has developed paroxysmal ataxia with dystonia at the age of 2-year-and-8-month. The ataxia has recurred for 7-8 times. The child had died at 11 years old due to recurrence and aggravation of the disease. MRI showed diffuse symmetrical lesions of brain parenchyma and spinal cord. Her brother had similar symptoms and died at 6. The parents were consanguineous but healthy. Genetic testing revealed that the girl has carried homozygous c.161C>T variants of the TPK1 gene, suggesting the diagnosis of TPKD. So far 15 cases of TPKD have been reported, among which 9 were from consanguineous marriages. The disease usually occurs before the age of 3, and most patients had featured paroxysmal encephalopathy and recurrent infections. Symmetrical celebral cortex, basal ganglia and cerebellum lesions were common. Missense mutations of the TPK1 gene were common. Vitamin B1 was effective in some cases.
CONCLUSION
For infants featuring encephalopathy, ataxia, dystonia and other phenotypes, early genetic testing should be recommended in order to provide guidance for clinical treatment and genetic counseling.

Objective:To observe effect of Jingulian capsule on the proliferation of human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells and investigate its action mechanism against triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). Method:The ingredients of Jingulian capsule were identified by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS). The inhibitory effect of Jingulian capsule at different doses (0.125,0.25,0.5,1,and 2 g·L-1) against the proliferation of MDA-MB-231 cells were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay. After treatment for 24 h, the morphological changes in nuclear apoptosis of MDA-MB-231 cells were detected by Hoechst 33258 staining. The effect of different concentrations of Jingulian capsule on the apoptosis and cycle of MDA-MB-231 cells after different treatment time were determined by flow cytometry. The protein expression levels of Poly-ADP-ribose polymeras (PARP), proto-oncogene c-Myc, cyclin B1, and phosphorylated extracellular signal-regulated kinase (p-ERK) in each group were assayed by Western blot. Result:A total of 113 compounds in Jingulian capsule were identified by UPLC-MS/MS. As revealed by MTT assay, compared with blank group,Jingulian capsule (0.125,0.25,0.5,1,2 g·L-1) significantly inhibited viability of MDA-MB-231 cells (

In this study, physical fingerprint and multivariate statistical analysis was applied to characterize the quality consistency of different sources of carboxymethylcellulose sodium, and the visualization of R language was used to explore the intrinsic correlation on its performances, and we drew contour maps between independent variables and flowability of powder to find the design space. Through the physical fingerprint and multivariate statistical analysis, it was found that there were differences in the powder properties of carboxymethylcellulose sodium from different sources, and its moisture content, bulk density and tapped density have a great influence on the fluidity. The fillibility was positively correlated with flowability, both negatively correlated with compressibility by R intelligent visualization analysis, which was statistically significant (
