		                        			Abstract
On September 26, 2024, a municipal hospital in Jiaxing City reported a maternal case of Listeria monocytogenes infection. In order to clarify the source of infection, the Jiaxing Center for Disease Control and Prevention immediately conducted the epidemiological investigation, laboratory testing and related disposal work. The case presented with fever (37.9 ℃), gradually intensifying paroxysmal abdominal pain without obvious cause, and went to hospital on the day of onset. Due to fetal intrauterine distress, a male infant was delivered by cesarean section on the same day. The epidemiological investigation identified that the case usually consumed fruits, often store fruits such as watermelon and grapes in the refrigerator alongside raw meat, and the refrigerator had never been cleaned or disinfected, posing a risk of cross contamination. Laboratory tests on amniotic fluid sample from the pregnant woman, infant blood sample showed positive results for Listeria monocytogenes infection. One strain of Listeria monocytogenes was detected in a smear sample from the inner wall of the refrigerator, and all the strains were ST2 type. Consuming fruits contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may be the main source of infection. Food safety education for pregnant women and their family members should be strengthened to reduce the risk of infection.

Objective:To explore the value of serum matrix metalloproteinase-1 (matrix metalloproteinase-1), and phosphatase and tensin hmmlogydeleted on ten (PTEN), in predicting osteoporosis (OP) in women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) .Methods:The clinical data of.218 pregnant women with GDM treated in Linyi People’s Hospital from Sep. 2019 to Feb. 2023 were retrospectively collected and included in the GDM group. Another 98 healthy pregnant women who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. Age, body mass index (BMI), blood glucose related indexes and serum MMP-1 and PTEN levels were compared between the two groups. According to the occurrence of osteoporosis (OP) in the second and third trimester of pregnancy, the GDM group was divided into OP group and non-OP group. Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of OP in pregnant women with GDM in the second and third trimesters. ROC curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of serum MMP-1 and PTEN levels for osteoporosis in GDM pregnant women in the second and third trimesters. Results:Body mass index (BMI), fasting blood glucose (FBG), glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and serum MMP-1 and PTEN levels in GDM group were higher than those in control group, but BUA, SOS and SI were lower than those in control group ( t=6.18, 12.68, 9.91, 11.42, 7.70, 5.63, 5.76, 9.84, all P<0.05). Among 218 GDM women, 29 cases had OP and 189 cases did not have OP. There were no significant differences in fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, blood calcium, blood magnesium, or blood phosphorus between the two groups (statistical value: 0.96, 0.86, 1.35, 1.06, 0.49, P>0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that age, abnormal increase of MMP-1 and PTEN levels were independent risk factors for OP in GDM women in the second and third trimesters [ OR (95% CI) =1.260 (1.103-1.440) ,1.075 (1.031-1.120) ,1.055 (1.023-1.089), all P<0.05]. ROC curve showed that the AUC of MMP-1 and PTEN in predicting OP in GDM pregnant women in the second and third trimesters were 0.824 and 0.777, respectively. The AUC of the combination of the two in predicting OP in GDM pregnant women in the second and third trimesters was 0.933, and the specificity and sensitivity were 83.04% and 93.48%, respectively, which were higher than those of single detection. Conclusions:MMP-1 and PTEN in early pregnancy may play a potential role in the prediction of OP in pregnant women with GDM. Close monitoring of MMP-1 and PTEN levels may provide new ideas for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of OP high-risk patients.

This paper summarized Professor ZHOU Zhongying's experience in differentiating and treating hepatitis and liver cirrhosis from deficiency and excess. It is considered that the pathogenesis of hepatitis and liver cirrhosis belongs to deficiency in root and excess in branch, with depletion of liver, spleen and kidney as the root, and constraint and bind of damp-heat and stasis toxin as the branch. Moreover, mutual cause and promotion between deficiency and excess leads to the disease. For general principle of treatment, it is recommended to clear and transform pathogenic excess, supplement deficiency and rectify the healthy qi. In the early stage of hepatitis and cirrhosis, excess pathogen hyperactivity is the main manifestation, which can be treated by clearing and transforming damp-heat and stasis toxin, supplemented by regulating spleen and stomach, with modified Yinchenhao Decoction (茵陈蒿汤) and Biejiajian Pill (鳖甲煎丸). In the middle and late stages, cases with deficiency-excess complex were more common, which should be treated by clearing damp-heat and stasis toxin, regulating and supplementing liver-spleen-kidney, using medicinals with the function of clearing heat and dispelling damp, dissolving stasis and resolving toxins to treat the branch. Moreover, Liujunzi Decoction (六君子汤), Yiguan Decoction (一贯煎)plus Erzhi Pill (二至丸) and Buzhong Yiqi Decoction (补中益气汤) modifications are suggested respectively in correspondence to the different kinds of root deficiency including irregular liver and spleen, liver and kidney yin deficiency, and liver-spleen-kidney deficiency.

Objective To investigate the mechanism mediating the regulatory effect of lncRNA MAGI2-AS3 on cisplatin(DDP)resistance in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods MAGI2-AS3 and miR-1269a expression levels were detected by qRT-PCR in DDP-sensitive lung cancer cell lines(A549 and H1299)and their resistant counterparts(A549/DDP and H1299/DDP).In A549 and H1299 cells with MAGI2-AS3 silencing and A549/DDP and H1299/DDP cells overexpressing MAGI2-AS3,the effects of 20 μmol/L DDP on cell viability and apoptosis were examined with CCK-8 assay, colony formation assay, flow cytometry and Western blotting, and the changes in epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)were assessed with wound healing and Transwell assays. The interaction between MAGI2-AS3,miR-1269a and PTEN was predicted using GEPIA,StarBase and miRDB and verified with luciferase reporter gene assay and radioimmunoprecipitation(RIP)assay.A miR-1269a mimic and pcDNA3.1-PTEN plasmid were used to perform the rescue assay. Results MAGI2-AS3 expression was significantly downregulated in lung cancer tissues(P<0.05)in association with a poor prognosis(P<0.05).In the two DDP-resistant lung cancer cell lines,MAGI2-AS3 expression was significantly lowered as compared with the sensitive cells.Silencing MAGI2-AS3 significantly enhanced cell viability and promoted EMT of A549 and H1299 cells irrespective of DDP treatment, and also decreased DDP-induced apoptosis of the cells. In A549/DDP and H1299/DDP cells,MAGI2-AS3 overexpression strongly repressed cell viability and EMT irrespective of DDP treatment and promoted DDP-induced cell apoptosis.Luciferase reporter gene and RIP assays confirmed the binding of MAGI2-AS3 with miR-1269a and the binding of miR-1269a with 3'-UTR domain of PTEN.The rescue assay demonstrated that MAGI2-AS3 acted as a sponge for miR-1269a to promote PTEN expression and downregulate AKT phosphorylation, thus inhibiting EMT and promoting DDP-induced apoptosis of A549/DDP cells. Conclusion MAGI2-AS3 enhances DDP sensitivity of NSCLC by targeted regulation of the miR-1269a/PTEN/AKT signaling axis.
