1.Molecular mechanism of high-altitude hypoxia-induced lipid metabolism disorder in mouse spleen tissue

		                        			Objective To investigate the molecular mechanism of lipid metabolism disorder in mouse spleen tissues due to high-altitude hypoxia.Methods Ten C57BL/6 male mice were randomly divided into normoxia group(maintained at an altitude of 400 m)and high-altitude hypoxia group(maintained at 4200 m)for 30 days(n=5).Lipidomics and metabolomics analyses of the spleen tissue of the mice were conducted using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS)to identify the differential metabolites,which were further analyzed by KEGG enrichment and pathway analyses,and the differential genes were screened through transcriptome sequencing.Bioinformatics analysis was conducted to identify the upstream target genes of the differential metabolites in specific metabolic pathways.RT-qPCR and Western blotting were used to detect mRNA expressions of 11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase 1(HSD11B1),steroid 5α reductase 1(SRD5A1),prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 1(PTGS1),hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthetase(HPGDS),xanthine dehydrogenase(XDH),purine nucleoside phosphorylase(PNP),hypoxanthine guanine-phosphoribosyltransferase(HPRT)and extracellular 5'-nucleotidase(NT5E)and protein expressions of HSD11B1,SRD5A1,XDH,PNP and HPRT in the mouse spleens.Results We identified a total of 41 differential lipid metabolites in the mouse spleens,and these metabolites and the differential genes were enriched in steroid hormone biosynthesis,arachidonic acid metabolism,and purine metabolism pathways.Compared to the mice kept in normoxic conditions,the mice exposed to high-altitude hypoxia showed significantly upregulated expressions of adrenosterone,androsterone,prostaglandin D2,prostaglandin J2,xanthine,xanthosine,and uric acid in the spleen with also changes in the expression levels of HSD11B1,SRD5A1,PTGS1,HPGDS,XDH,PNP,HPRT,and NT5E.Conclusion High-altitude hypoxia can result in lipid metabolism disorder in mouse spleen tissue by affecting steroid hormone biosynthesis,arachidonic acid metabolism,and purine metabolism pathways.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.The application and progress of dental CAD/CAM zirconia materials from the perspective of dental technology

		                        			There are many kinds of zirconia repair materials that have been introduced at home and abroad.Mechanical and aesthetic properties are the important factors for selecting zirconia materials.The process of diagnosis and treatment by dentists and the production by the workers in laboratory affect the final repair effects.To achieve accurate and efficient simulation of dental repair and treatment,effective cooperation between dentists and technicians is required.In this paper,the factors affecting mechanical and aes-thetic properties in the process of material selection,tooth wearing,restoration design and fabrication,concerning zirconia veneer,sin-gle-crown,fixed bridge and edentulous jaw implant fixed repair were discussed and summarized.The common failure reasons were ana-lyzed in order to improve the communication efficiency between dentists and technicians in the process of zirconia repair system and to a-chieve better repair effects.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Monte Carlo simulation-based analysis of cell damage by 9C-ion decay products

		                        			Objective:To explore the radiological damage to cells induced by the delayed particles of 9C-ions for heavy ion therapy, as well as the microdosimetric distribution and biological effects of these particles on a single model of V79 Chinese hamster lung cells. Methods:The Monte Carlo program was employed to simulate the endonuclear absorbed doses of α particles with various energies (3-10 MeV) transported in cells (cell radius RC = 10 μm, nucleus radius RN = 5 μm). Then, the result were compared with the S values ( SN←N, SN←Cy, and SN←CS) derived using the medical internal radiation dose (MIRD) method to demonstrate the feasibility of Monte Carlo simulations. Finally, the energy deposition of the delayed particles of 9C-ions generated at three sites (i.e., on the surface and in the cytoplasm and nucleus of the V79 cell model) during their transport in targets was simulated, and the result ing cell surviving fraction was analyzed. Results:Monte Carlo and MIRD method yielded differences in S values of 1.91%-4.95% for SN←N (nucleus to nucleus), 1.48%-5.11% for SN←Cy (cytoplasm to nucleus), and -1.99% to 0.80% for SN←CS(surface to nucleus), indicating highly consistent S values derived using both method(differences < 6%). When a 9C-ion decayed on the surface of the V79 cell model and the produced secondary particles entered the cell, the average endonuclear absorbed dose was 10 -2 Gy orders of magnitude, with a cell surviving fraction of about 88%. In the case where decay occurred in the cytoplasm, the cell surviving fraction was about 80%. However, when the 9C ion decayed in the nucleus, α particles had short ranges and deposited most of their energy in the cell (mean endonuclear absorbed dose: 0.1 Gy). In this case, severe cell damage was induced, with the cell surviving fraction reducing to about 53%. Conclusions:9C-ions emit secondary charged particles due to decay, among which α particles cause great damage to cells when entering the nucleus and trigger evident biological effects.

5.Incidence and mortality of lung cancer in countries with different human development index

		                        			ObjectiveTo compare the annual and age trends of the age-standard incidence rate (ASIR) and the age-standard mortality rate (ASMR) of lung cancer in countries with different human development index (HDI) from 1990 to 2019. MethodsThe data were collected from the global burden of disease study and GLOBOCAN 2020. The average annual percentage change (AAPC) and age trends of ASIR and ASMR in lung cancer were analyzed by the Joinpoint regression model, and the comparison between the four groups was analyzed by Kruskale-Wallis analysis. ResultsIn 2020, the incidence and mortality of lung cancer gradually increased with age and HDI grade. From 1990 to 2019, the global ASIR and ASMR of lung cancer decreased, and the ASIR of lung cancer among male decreased, while the ASIR of lung cancer among female increased. The results showed that ASIR of lung cancer in female residents in countries with very high HDI increased significantly from 1996 to 2011, resulting in an overall upward trend in female ASIR, while the other groups showed a downward trend. It was found that ASIR and ASMR of lung cancer in China and India were on the rise, while ASIR and ASMR of lung cancer in Russia and the United States were on the decline. ConclusionAlthough very high/high HDI countries face a higher burden of lung cancer occurrence and death, the accumulation of lung cancer burden is completed in the transitioning period. 6.An Intelligent Method for Optimizing Large-volume Medical Image Transmission.

		                        			In order to alleviate the conflict between medical supply and demand, and to improve the efficiency of medical image transmission, this study proposes an intelligent method for large-volume medical image transmission. This method extracts and generates keyword pairs by analyzing medical diagnostic reports, and uses a 3D-UNet to segment original image data into various sub-area based on its anatomy structure. Then, the sub-areas are scored through keyword pairs and preset scoring criteria, and transmitted to user frontend in the order of prioritization score. Experiments show that this method can fulfill physicians' requirements of radiology reading and diagnosis with only ten percent of data transmitted, which efficiently optimized traditional transmission procedures.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7.Efficacy and safety of transumbilical single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy for acute complicated appendicitis:a single center,retrospective study

		                        			Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of transumbilical single-port laparoscopic appendicectomy in acute complicated appendicitis.Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted for the data of 1104 patients with complicated appendicitis who underwent emergency laparoscopic appendectomy at the Department of General Surgery of Aerospace Center Hospital from April 2014 to August 2022;among them,788 patients underwent transumbilical single-port laparoscopic appendectomy(SILA)and 316 cases underwent traditional three-port laparoscopic appendectomy(LA);the operation time,intraoperative blood loss,leukocyte value on the first day after surgery,postoperative exhaust time,hospital stay,postoperative pathology and postoperative complications were statistically analyzed.Results The surgical duration of the single hole laparoscopic appendectomy(SILA)group was(68.26±22.29)minutes,intraoperative blood loss was(15.93±13.10)ml,postoperative exhaust time was(2.29±0.52)days,and white blood cells were(11.12±1.67)× 109/L on the first day after surgery,and the surgical duration of the hree hole laparoscopic appendectomy(LA)groupwas(66.47± 20.40)minutes,intraoperative blood loss was(16.65±12.98)ml,postoperative exhaust time was(2.23±0.58)days,and white blood cells were(11.35±1.54)× 109/L on the first day after surgery,there was no statistically significant difference in the data between each group(P>0.05).After 1 month of follow-up,no incisional hernia and other complications occurred in the two groups,the cosmetic effect of abdominal incision in SILA group was satisfactory,the hospitalization time of SILA group was(4.60± 1.18)days,which was shorter than that in the traditional LA group(4.93±1.71)days,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Based on proficiency in traditional LA operations,SILA is safe and viable;in addition to the hidden aesthetic function of scars,it does not prolong the operation time and increase the risk of postoperative complications.

		                        			Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has led to more than 500 million cases, including 6.19 million deaths. Mutated strains of SARS-CoV-2 (alpha, beta, gamma, delta and omicron) have successively emerged. Currently the omicron variant is gradually replacing the delta variant, driving a surge of cases in most countries including China, posing a great challenge to the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. In the face of the severe pandemic situation, a large number of non-medical volunteers are fighting on the front lines of the war against the pandemic and are vulnerable to exposure due to lack of professional knowledge. 9.Effects of gantry acceleration limitations on VMAT plans

		                        			Objective:To study the effects of gantry acceleration limitations of a linear accelerator (linac) on the dosimetry of volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) plans, machine efficiency, and dose verification result of VMAT plans and to explore the optimal selection of gantry motion models in the Pinnacle treatment planning system.Methods:Ten cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, sigmoid adenocarcinoma with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis, and invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast were each selected for this study. Then two models were set up in the Pinnacle v9.10 treatment planning system, namely the one allowing gantry acceleration and the one limiting gantry acceleration. The same field arrangement, optimized target parameters, and optimized weights of VMAT plans were adopted in the two models, in order to analyze the dosimetric variations in targets and organs at risk (OARs) and compare the differences in treatment time and gamma passing rates.Results:The treatment time of the enrolled patients under the model allowing gantry acceleration was significantly lower than that of the patients under the model limiting gantry acceleration was adopted ( t=-6.751, -0.209, -19.523, -28.999; P< 0.05) and decreased by 15.27%, 18.07%, 19.71%, and 28.75%, respectively. Meanwhile, the conformity and uniformity of target areas were affected, while there was no statistical significance in the gamma passing rates in the validation of VMAT plans ( P>0.05). For the cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), the maximum dose to brainstem PRV increased by 1.25%. For the cases of lung cancer, the maximum dose to the spinal cord and lung V20 increased by 1.19% and 1.21%, respectively, while lung V5 decreased by 1.21%. For the cases of sigmoid adenocarcinoma with retroperitoneal lymph node metastasis, the mean doses to bilateral kidneys, livers, small intestine, and colon all increased. For the cases of breast cancer, lung V10 on the opposite side of cancer increased by 1.66% and the mean dose to the lungs on the same side of cancer decreased by 7.45%. Conclusions:The model allowing gantry acceleration allows the treatment time to be significantly shortened and the treatment efficiency improved. Although this model had the shortcomings such as affecting the conformity and uniformity of target areas to a certain extent and increasing the doses to some OARs, clinical requirements for dosimetry were still met. 10.Effect of Tongbi decoction on endothelial function and hemorheology in patients with coronary heart disease with angina pectoris

		                        			Objective To observe the effect of Tongbi decoctionon for the changes of the endothelial function and hemorheology in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 90 patients with angina pectoris were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 45 in each group. The control group was given routine clinical treatment, and the observation group was treated with Tongbi decoction on the basis of the control group. After treated for 4 weeks, the pain severity of angina pectoris was observed before and after treatment, and the frequency and duration of angina pectoris were recorded. The levels of serum vascular endothelin (ET) and endothelin (VEGF) were measured by ELISA. The serum NO was measured by nitrate reductase method, and whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity were measured by blood viscometer. The hematocrit was measured by hematocrit analyzer and optical density method. The erythrocyte aggregation index was measured, and the fibrinogen level was measured by heating precipitation method. And the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results After treatment, the total effective rate was 93.3% (42/45) in the observation group and 77.8% (35/45) in the control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups (Z=-3.164, P=0.002). After treatment, the score of angina pain (0.62 ± 0.05 vs. 1.17 ± 0.14, t=5.733) , the frequency of angina attack (3.62 ± 0.43 times/week vs. 5.02 ± 0.64 times/week, t=5.042), the duration of angina attack (3.17 ± 0.42 minutes/time vs. 4.06 ± 0.51 minutes/time, t=4.781) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of VEGF and NO in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t value was 5.892, 5.347, all Ps<0.05), and ET was significantly lower than that in the control group (t=4.926, P=0.037). After treatment, the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, aggregation index and fibrinogen levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (t values were 4.832, 4.233, 5.031, 4.136, 4.531, all Ps<0.05). Conclusions The application of Tongbi decoction can improve the endothelial function of patients with angina pectoris, adjust the hemorheological indexes and relieve the symptoms related to angina pectoris.
