1.Analysis on Current Status of Knowledge, Attitude, Practice of COVID -19 in College Students and Their Influencing Factors

		                        			In order to understand the current status of the knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) about prevention and control of COVID -19 in college students, and to provide theoretical basis for prevention and control work in college campus. This study investigated the KAP of COVID -19 of 1 847 college students in Shaanxi province by questionnaire using the convenience sampling method. Chisquare test and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the influencing factors for the KAP of COVID -19. The results demonstrated that 48.3% of the students had a higher knowledge level of COVID -19, 11.7% had a fear attitude and 39.6% had good protective practices. Logistic regression results showed that female and urban household college students had higher cognitive level of COVID -19. The college students with anxiety state were more likely to have fear attitude. Students of female, urban household, anxiety, higher cognition and fear attitude showed better protective practices. The above results indicated that the knowledge level of COVID -19 in college students are not enough, and the attitude and protective practices need to be further improved. Therefore, relevant departments should follow the rules of KAP, carry out targeted propaganda and education on COVID -19 for college students, to improve their ability to cope with public health emergencies.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.Analysis of chemical constituents and comprehensive quality evaluation of Rhamni Songoricae Fructus

		                        			OBJECTIVE To identify the chemical constituents of Rhamni Songoricae Fructus and to establish their fingerprints and the method for simultaneous determination of four constituents to comprehensively evaluate the quality of Rhamni Songoricae Fructus. METHODS The chemical constituents in Rhamni Songoricae Fructus were qualitatively analyzed by ultra-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole-time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry. The fingerprints of 15 batches of Rhamni Songoricae Fructus were established by HPLC and chemometric analysis was performed by using SPSS 26.0 and SIMCA 14.1 software; the contents of quercetin, kaempferol, kaempferide and emodin were determined by the same method. RESULTS A total of 35 constituents were identified, including 28 kinds of flavonoids, 5 kinds of anthraquinones and 2 kinds of organic acids. A total of 19 common peaks were identified in the HPLC fingerprints, recognizing quercetin, kaempferol, kaempferide and emodin. The similarities between HPLC fingerprints of 15 batches of samples and control chromatograms were greater than 0.9. The results of cluster analysis showed that 15 batches of samples were divided into 2 classes, of which S1-S5, S7 and S9 were one class and the rest were one class, similar to the results of principal component analysis. The results of the orthogonal partial least squares- discriminant analysis showed that the variable importance projections of peaks No. 2, 6, 1, 11 (quercetin), 3, 14, 8, 10, 19 (emodin), 5 were all greater than 1. The contents of quercetin, kaempferol, kaempferide and emodin ranged from 0.710 to 10.478 mg/g, 0.236 to 0.660 mg/g, 0.334 to 3.039 mg/g, and 0.261 to 0.504 mg/g. CONCLUSIONS The constructed chemical constituent identification, fingerprint and content determination methods are simple, feasible and reproducible, which combined with chemometric analysis can be used for comprehensive evaluation of the quality of Rhamni Songoricae Fructus.

		                        			Patients with severe trauma require an extremely timely treatment and transfusion plays an irreplaceable role in the emergency treatment of such patients. An increasing number of evidence-based medicinal evidences and clinical practices suggest that patients with severe traumatic bleeding benefit from early transfusion of low-titer group O whole blood or hemostatic resuscitation with red blood cells, plasma and platelet of a balanced ratio. However, the current domestic mode of blood supply cannot fully meet the requirements of timely and effective blood transfusion for emergency treatment of patients with severe trauma in clinical practice. In order to solve the key problems in blood supply and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma, Branch of Clinical Transfusion Medicine of Chinese Medical Association, Group for Trauma Emergency Care and Multiple Injuries of Trauma Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Young Scholar Group of Disaster Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association organized domestic experts of blood transfusion medicine and trauma treatment to jointly formulate Chinese expert consensus on blood support mode and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma patients ( version 2024). Based on the evidence-based medical evidence and Delphi method of expert consultation and voting, 10 recommendations were put forward from two aspects of blood support mode and transfusion strategies, aiming to provide a reference for transfusion resuscitation in the emergency treatment of severe trauma and further improve the success rate of treatment of patients with severe trauma.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
4.Diagnosis and treatment of 4 cases imported severe malaria and COVID-19 co-infection

		                        			Abstract: To explore the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of imported severe malaria and COVID-19 co-infection cases, and to provide scientific basis for epidemic prevention and control measures. The epidemiological characteristics, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, treatment process and prognosis of 4 cases of severe malaria and COVID-19 co-infection with confirmed diagnosis were analyzed retrospectively. Four cases of severe malaria were African returnees of the same batch, male, aged 40-54 years old, with the same journey track. They all had African work and life history and acute onset. The main clinical manifestations were fever (4/4), chills (3/4), chills (3/4), nausea and vomiting (3/4), diarrhea (4/4), fatigue and anorexia (4/4). Two cases had headache and dizziness, confusion, muscle aches, two cases had cough, one cases had sputum, sore throat and runny urine. All 4 cases were confirmed by positive nucleic acid detection of the new coronavirus (2019-nCOV) in throat swabs. Plasmodium falciparum was found by microscopic examination of peripheral blood smears of all patients, and all of them were consistent with high altitude helminthiasis. All cases were accompanied by abnormal liver function and severe hypoproteinemia, two cases were hyperbilirubinemia, three cases were dyslipidemia, three cases were involved in abnormal tertiary hemogram with different degrees of elevation of procalcitonin, two cases were lactic acid poisoning, and one case was hypoglycemia. One case showed viral pneumonia on chest CT. All cases were treated individually according to the different conditions and were discharged after improvement, and were rechecked for 2019-nCOV nucleic acid and microscopic examination of blood smear negative for Plasmodium.During the global COVID-19 epidemic, the emergence of coinfection cases of con-infection of imported malaria parasites and severe acuterespiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) makes the clinical diagnosis and treatment more complicated. It is important to establish the awareness of simultaneous prevention and diagnosis of COVID-19 and malaria for local prevention and control and early warning of severe cases, and timely and effective formulation of treatment plan to improve the comprehensive treatment efficiency.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
5.Preparation and properties of a new artificial bone composite material.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To study the preparation and properties of the hyaluronic acid (HA)/α-calcium sulfate hemihydrate (α-CSH)/β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) material (hereinafter referred to as composite material).
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			Firstly, the α-CSH was prepared from calcium sulfate dihydrate by hydrothermal method, and the β-TCP was prepared by wet reaction of soluble calcium salt and phosphate. Secondly, the α-CSH and β-TCP were mixed in different proportions (10∶0, 9∶1, 8∶2, 7∶3, 5∶5, and 3∶7), and then mixed with HA solutions with concentrations of 0.1%, 0.25%, 0.5%, 1.0%, and 2.0%, respectively, at a liquid-solid ratio of 0.30 and 0.35 respectively to prepare HA/α-CSH/ β-TCP composite material. The α-CSH/β-TCP composite material prepared with α-CSH, β-TCP, and deionized water was used as the control. The composite material was analyzed by scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction analysis, initial/final setting time, degradation, compressive strength, dispersion, injectability, and cytotoxicity.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			The HA/α-CSH/β-TCP composite material was prepared successfully. The composite material has rough surface, densely packed irregular block particles and strip particles, and microporous structures, with the pore size mainly between 5 and 15 μm. When the content of β-TCP increased, the initial/final setting time of composite material increased, the degradation rate decreased, and the compressive strength showed a trend of first increasing and then weakening; there were significant differences between the composite materials with different α-CSH/β-TCP proportion ( P<0.05). Adding HA improved the injectable property of the composite material, and it showed an increasing trend with the increase of concentration ( P<0.05), but it has no obvious effect on the setting time of composite material ( P>0.05). The cytotoxicity level of HA/α-CSH/β-TCP composite material ranged from 0 to 1, without cytotoxicity.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION
		                        			The HA/α-CSH/β-TCP composite materials have good biocompatibility. Theoretically, it can meet the clinical needs of bone defect repairing, and may be a new artificial bone material with potential clinical application prospect.

6.Immunogenicity of quadrivalent influenza virus subunit vaccine combined with RFH01 adjuvant in mice

		                        			Objective:To evaluate the immunogenicity of a quadrivalent subunit vaccine combined with RFH01 adjuvant in a mouse model.Methods:Identification tests were performed on four monovalent influenza virus subunit vaccine stock solutions according to the methods described in Part 3 of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2020 Edition. In the study of the quadrivalent subunit vaccine combined with RFH01 adjuvant, 460 female BALB/c mice (6-8 weeks old) were randomly divided into 46 groups including experimental groups, vaccine control group, negative control group and blank group with 10 mice in each group. In the study of the quadrivalent subunit vaccine in old and young mice, 80 female 10-month-old and 80 female 10-week-old BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 16 groups ( n=10) including monovalent influenza virus vaccine group, quadrivalent subunit vaccine group, quadrivalent subunit vaccine+ RFH01 adjuvant group, chicken embryo quadrivalent split vaccine control group and PBS group. All mice were immunized by intramuscular injection. At 21 d after the primary immunization, a booster immunization was conducted using the same strategy. Blood samples were collected at 21 d and 42 d after the primary immunization for serum separation. Haemagglutination inhibition (HI) test was performed to detect the antibody levels in mouse serum samples. Results:After the booster immunization, the positive conversion rates in all vaccine+ RFH01 adjuvant groups reached 100%, and the geometric mean titers (GMTs) of serum antibodies were significantly higher than those of the vaccine groups without RFH01 adjuvant. There were significant differences in serum antibody titers between the monovalent/quadrivalent subunit vaccine groups with and without RFH01 adjuvant. After the booster immunization, the titers of serum antibodies against H1N1, H3N2, B/Victoria and B/Yamagata in the 10-week-old mice were significantly higher than those in the 10-month-old mice.Conclusions:The monovalent and quadrivalent influenza virus vaccines in combination with RFH01 adjuvant could elicit higher antibody titers in young (6-10 weeks old) and old (10 months old) mice, showing good immunogenicity.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7.Prospective cohort study of pre-pregnancy sugar-sweetened beverage consumption and risk of gestational diabetes mellitus

		                        			Background There is a lack of research evidence on the association between sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in China. Objective To explore the association between frequency of SSB consumption before pregnancy and risk of GDM in pregnant women in Shaanxi Province, and to provide a scientific basis for targeted interventions to control maternal blood glucose. Methods The recruitment to the China Birth Cohort study started in October 2020. Pregnant women at 6-16 weeks who had their first prenatal examination at five hospitals in Shaanxi Province were recruited. A maternal health questionnaire was used to collect basic information about pregnant women. A semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire was used to collect the consumption of carbonated beverages, fruit and vegetable juice beverages, coffee beverages, and milk tea beverages in one year before pregnancy, which were summed to obtain the SSB consumption. Pregnant women were divided into three groups according to SSB consumption, namely <1 serving·week−1, 1-4 servings·week−1, and ≥5 servings·week−1. GDM was confirmed by oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) between 24-28 weeks of gestation. A binary logistic regression model was applied to explore the association between SSB consumption and risk of GDM. Multiple linear regression was applied to investigate the associations between SSB consumption (per 1-serving·d−1 increase) and OGTT fasting plasma glucose, 1-hour glucose, and 2-hour glucose. Results A total of 3811 pregnant women were finally enrolled in this study, of which 752 developed GDM, with an incidence rate of 19.7%. The incidence rates of GDM in pregnant women with SSB consumption frequency of <1 serving·week−1, 1-4 servings·week−1, and ≥5 servings·week−1 were 18.0%, 21.1%, and 26.8%, respectively. After adjusting for maternal age, pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI), education, number of children born, family history of diabetes, smoking, alcohol consumption, physical activity level, and total energy intake, the risk of GDM increased by 26% (OR=1.26, 95%CI: 1.05, 1.50) in the 1-4 servings·week−1 group and by 76% (OR=1.76, 95%CI: 1.31, 2.38) in the ≥5 servings·week−1 group compared to the <1 serving·week−1 SSB consumption group, respectively. Further stratified analysis revealed no interaction effect (Pinteraction>0.05) between SSB consumption and maternal age, pre-pregnancy BMI, or first labor or not. For each additional SSB consumption per day, the risk of GDM increased by 94% (OR=1.94, 95%CI: 1.37, 2.75); and the maternal OGTT 1-hour glucose and 2-hour glucose increased by 0.33 mmol·L−1 and 0.18 mmol·L−1, respectively (P<0.05), and no significant increase in fasting plasma glucose was found (P>0.05). 8.Clinical analysis of 49 cases of non-inflammasome related conditions.

		                        			Objective: To summarize the clinical characteristics and provide clues for early identification of non-inflammasome related conditions. Methods: The clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, genetic testing and follow-up of 49 children with non-inflammasome related conditions in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 2006 to February 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: A total of 49 children, 29 of them were boys and 20 were girls. The age of onset was 0.8 (0.3, 1.6) years, the age at diagnosis was 5.7 (2.8, 8.8) years, and the time from onset to diagnosis was 3.6 (1.9, 6.3) years. Combined with genetic testing results, 49 children with non-inflammasome related conditions were found, including 34 cases (69%) of Blau syndrome, 4 cases (8%) of tumour necrosis factor receptor-associated periodic syndrome, 4 cases (8%) of haploinsufficiency of A20, 2 cases (4%) of Majeed syndrome, 2 cases (4%) of pyogenic sterile arthritis, pyoderma gangrenosum, acne syndrome and 3 cases (6%) of chronic atypical neutrophilic dermatosis with lipodystrophy and elevated temperature syndrome. There were 22 cases (45%) with a positive family history. The clinical manifestations included 37 cases (76%) cases with rash, 38 cases (78%) with joint involvement, 33 cases (67%) with eye involvement, 17 cases (35%) with recurrent fever. In addition, 11 cases (22%) were complicated with digestive system involvement. Thirty cases (61%) presented as elevated inflammatory indexes (erythrocyte sedimentation rate and (or) C-reactive protein), positive autoantibodies were noticed in 3 cases (6%). The patients were treated with glucocorticoid in 23 cases (47%), immunosuppressive agents in 43 cases (88%) and biologic agents in 37 cases (76%). During the follow-up of 5.8 (2.9, 8.9) years, 3 cases (6%) died. Conclusions: The symptoms of non-inflammasome related conditions include recurrent fever, rash, joint and ocular involvement with increased inflammatory indexes and negative autoantibodies. Up to now, glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants and biologic agents are the most popular medications for the non-inflammasome related conditions.

Their structures were identified on the basis of physicochemical properties, UV, IR, MS, and NMR spectroscopic data as(4S,5S,7R,10S)-5,7-dihydroxy-11-en-eudesmane(1),(7R,10S)-eudesma-4-en-11,15-diol(2),(2R,4S,5R,7R)-2-hydroxyeremophila-9,11-dien-8-one(3), 7α-H-9(10)-ene-11,12-epoxy-8-oxoeremophilane(4),(+)-9β,10β-epoxyeremophila-11(13)-en(5), 4(14)-eudesmene-8α,11-diol(6), 12,15-dioxo-selina-4,11-dien(7), and 2β,8 aα-dihydroxy-11-en-eremophilane(8). Compounds 1 and 2 are new compounds, and their absolute configurations were determined by calculating ECD. Compounds 1, 4, and 6-8 could significantly improve taurocholic acid(TCA)-induced gastric mucosal GES-1 cell injury at a concentration of 20 μmol·L~(-1), and the cell protection rates were 23.51%±2.79%, 16.10%±1.25%, 24.45%±4.89%, 17.48%±2.93%, and 21.44%±2.39%, respectively.

10.Lodderomyces elongisporus causing catheter-related bloodstream infection and its biological characteristics

		                        			In order to improve the laboratory identification ability of Lodderomyces elongisporus, we analyzed the main biological characteristics of Lodderomyces elongisporus isolated from peripheral venous blood and catheter blood of a brain stem infarction patient with a body temperature of 38.4 ℃, observed the colony color of the strain on CHROMagar Candida medium and the ascospores on Mcclary agar, identified the isolates with Vitek 2 compact, MALDI-TOF MS and sequence analysis, and tested the MICs with borth microdilution. The MICs of antifungal agents against Lodderomyces elongisporus are well below the normal values of these drugs. The central venous catheter was removed and antifungal drugs were used until two weeks after the last positive blood culture. During the medication perios, the blood culture was repeatedly negative, the patient had no fever and the infection index decreased to normal, which can be used for clinical reference.
