The theoretical basis of premature aging originates from The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic. The etiology of premature aging is complex, and the disease mechanism is based on deficiency. The treatment for premature aging is based on tonicity. The essence-Qi-spirit theory of Qiluo doctrine summarizes that "essence is the origin of life, Qi is the driving force of life, and spirit is the embodiment of life", which is the law of life. The theory puts forward the core disease mechanism of aging, which states that "deficiency of kidney essence is the root of aging, deficiency of primordial Qi is the key to aging, impairment of soma and spirit is the manifestation of aging". The theory also proposes the treatment of "tonifying kidney and supplementing essence, harmonizing Yin and Yang, warming and supporting primordial Qi, and nourishing soma and spirit" and the representative anti-aging drugs. The article unfolds from the perspective of the concepts of natural life span, premature senility before fifty, decline, and aging and also explains the origins and connotations of premature aging. The article explains the disease mechanism of premature aging under the guidance of the essence-Qi-spirit theory of Qiluo doctrine, which is "early deprivation of kidney essence, deficiency of primordial Qi, accumulation of deficiencies into impairment, and decline and impairment of soma and spirit", summarizes the progress of modern medical research on the treatment of premature aging and representative drugs, and finds that Bazi Bushen capsules have a precise therapeutic effect on the overall premature aging, systematic functional decline, and related diseases. The study provides theoretical basis and new ideas to solve the problems of premature aging and geriatric diseases.

By analyzing the meridian related diseases of the heart in the Lingshu · Meridians chapter, this study summarizes the characteristics of heart diseases caused by the Heart Channel of Hand-Shaoyin, Pericardium Channel of Hand-Jueyin, and other meridians from the perspectives of pathogenic meridians, lesion sites, and disease nature. The pathogenesis and connotation of these diseases are analyzed, providing new ideas for the prevention and treatment of heart related diseases. Among the twelve meridians, besides the Heart Channel of Hand-Shaoyin and Pericardium Channel of Hand-Jueyin, there are five meridians that cause heart diseases, namely the Lung Channel of Hand-Taiyin, Stomach Channel of Foot-Yangming, Spleen Channel of Foot-Taiyin, Kidney Channel of Foot-Shaoyin, and Gallbladder Channel of Foot-Shaoyang. Diseases are more common in the yin meridian, with pain and heat as the main symptoms. They are related to the fact that the heart is a yang zang-organ, and evil qi is easily converted from yang to heat, causing diseases through the transmission of heart fire. There are three mechanisms by which other meridians can affect the Heart Channel of Hand-Shaoyin and Pericardium Channel of Hand-Jueyin, leading to symptoms such as heart pain and palpitations. Firstly, pathogenic factors can be transmitted along the meridians, causing discomfort and heartache to the heart; secondly, due to the abnormal pathogenic behavior of the Five Elements, where the gallbladder wood do not generate heart fire, and the heart yang is weak and painful; kidney water does not control heart fire, and the heat disturbs the mind and causes palpitations; thirdly, qi function is abnormal, which leads to abnormal opening and closing of the Yangming and Shaoyang channels, causing palpitations due to insufficient yin qi in the pericardium meridian or pain due to yang deficiency in the heart channel. External pathogens enter the lung through the channels, causing obstacles in the generation and distribution of pectoral qi, affecting the qi function of the heart channel and causing distress. The three mechanisms can exist independently or simultaneously as diseases.

Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma(GRR) has the function of replenishing vital energy and can lighten the body and prolong the life when taken for a long time, which is suitable for the development of anti-aging products, so this paper intends to sort out the progress of anti-aging research on GRR. After combing, the results of modern studies have shown that a variety of components in GRR have anti-aging effect, which can prolong the lifespan of aging animal models, as well as delay the aging of various systems. The anti-aging mechanisms mainly include anti-cellular senescence, anti-oxidative stress, inhibiting telomere shortening, maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis and so on. The anti-aging ingredients of GRR involved in the researches mainly include ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1, in addition, ginsenoside Rg3, ginsenoside Rd, ginsenoside Rg2, ginsenoside Re, ginsenoside Rb2, oligosaccharides of GRR, polysaccharides of GRR, water extract of GRR, total saponins of Panax ginseng stems and leaves are also included. Therefore, under current background of population aging, the in-depth development of GRR and its transformation into anti-aging products are of great significance for delaying senility and improving the health conditions of aging population.

Objective:The objective of this study is to sequence whole genome of the rabies virus in the saliva specimen of a suspected rabies case with onset of rabies from a wildlife (hog badger) bite wound in Sichuan province, where the genetic variation characteristics of the virus was analyzed at the molecular level, so as to understand the prevalence and mutation of wildlife rabies virus in Sichuan province. Methods:Total viral RNA was extracted from the saliva specimen of the suspected rabies case. Then, rabies virus sequences were amplified using PCR with specific primers; the gene fragments obtained were sequenced, and the sequences obtained were spliced using biological software to obtain the whole genome sequence of the rabies virus strain. The genetic variation characteristics of the whole genome were analyzed. Results:The whole genome nucleotide sequence of a strain of rabies virus of hog badger origin (hereinafter referred to as SCR23-052) was obtained by sequencing, and NCBI online BLAST and comparison with several reference sequences showed that the composition and structure of the whole genome sequence of SCR23-052 conformed to the characteristics of the Lyssavirus under the Rhabdoviridae; the highest similarity in nucleotide and amino acid sequences in various gene regions was observed between SCR23-052 and the strains of Ningxia (J) and Chongqing (CQ92, 02050CHI). The sequence variability of SCR23-052 genome was significantly lower at the amino acid level than that at the nucleotide level, which indicated that most of the nucleotide variants in the protein-coding genes belonged to synonymous mutations. Phylogenetic analysis showed that SCR23-052 belonged to genotype V, which did not show any obvious mutation in the major antigenic site of the glycoprotein, underwent amino acid glycosylation at positions 56 and 338 by the online site prediction, and showed the least amino acid difference compared with the signal peptide sequence of the vaccine strain CTN181. The virus in this study has an A→T mutation at position 332 in the nucleoprotein major antigenic site with all reference vaccine strains, and an L→V mutation at position 379 in the B-cell epitope with the CTN181 vaccine strain. SCR23-052 was consistent with both genotype V reference strains at the nucleoprotein study site. Conclusions:The whole genome sequence of a wildlife strain of genotype V rabies virus of hog badger origin was obtained, which was different from that of the genotype I strain of rabies virus of dog origin that previously reported to be prevalent in Sichuan. The genome sequence of SCR23-052 differed from that of the reference vaccine strains to a varying degree, but the main virulence characteristics remained unaltered.

Qi and blood are the two cornerstones of the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine.Luobing theory con-structs an academic system with the prominent characteristics of"Qi-blood correlation"to guide the prevention and treatment of compli-cated diseases of internal injury and severe external diseases.Qi is the leader of blood, blood is the mother of Qi,qiluo runs meridian qi,mailuo runs blood, and the relationship between qiluo and mailuo is essentially a dialectical relationship between Qi and blood.Qi and blood play a role in the regulation of collaterals, warming and nourishing, blood supply and Qi supply, and the exchange of Jin and blood. The normal structure and function of collateral vessel is the key factor to maintain the normal structure and function of the viscer-a.The collateral vessel entering the viscera is the collateral of the viscera, and entering the heart is divided into the mailuo of the heart and the qiluo of the heart.Cardiac mailuo infiltration can nourish the heart tissue and provide material basis for maintaining the struc-ture and function of the heart, which is identical with the modern medical coronary system and cardiac microvessels;qiluo regulates cardiac function, maintains cardiac systolic pulsation, and has the same identity with cardiac conduction system and regulatory mecha-nism.The interaction of mailuo disease and qiluo disease can lead to arrhythmias, such as coronary heart disease arrhythmias and pri-mary arrhythmias.According to the therapeutic principle that collateral vessels work by circulation, the key to the treatment of arrhyth-mia is to unobstruct the collateral veins and harmonize Qi and blood, which has important guiding value for the treatment of arrhythmia. The treatment of arrhythmias should not only remove pathogenic factors and improve cardiac conduction function, but also protect cardiac microcirculation, especially for arrhythmias without clear organic disease, which provides a new idea for the prevention and treatment of arrhythmias by combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine.

Objective In this study,we attempted to investigate whether Electroacupuncture(EA)could promote the autophagy function in macrophages of inflammatory skin tissues by activating CB2 receptor, thus relieving inflammatory pain induced by CFA in mice, and whether activation of CB2 receptor in NR8383 macrophages cell line can simulate the effect of EA on the autophagy function and mitochondrial damage. Methods Inflammatory pain model was induced by CFA injection into the planta the hind paw of wildtype and CB2 knockout mice.EA or sham EA was applied on the left Huantiao(GB30)and Yanglingquan(GB34)sites.Thermal hyperalgesia was determined with the Hargreaves test.Mechanical sensitivity was assessed with von Frey filaments.NR8383 microphage cell line was used to study the effect of CB2 activation on macrophage function induced by CFA.The expression level of autophagy protein LC3 and p62 in wildtype and CB2 knockout mice skin tissue and NR8383 cell line were determined by Western blot. And flow cytometry analysis was applied to detect damaged mitochondria and mitochondrial superoxide. Results CFA significantly reduced the thermal and mechanical pain threshold in both wildtype and CB2 knockout mice, comparing with the vehicle control groups(P<0.01).EA significantly inhibited thermal and mechanical hyperpathia induced by CFA in wildtype mice(P<0.05),but had no effect on CB2 knockout mice with CFA(P>0.05).CFA significantly increased the expression of p62 protein and decreased LC3-II/I ratio, which was inversed by EA in wildtype mice but wasn't affected by EA in CB2 knockout mice.CFA increased the expression of p62 protein and decreased LC3-II/I ratio in NR8383 cell line, which were inversed by CB2 agonist AM1241.CFA increased mitochondria damage, which were then attenuated by CB2 agonist AM1241.Conclusion The analgesic effect of EA on inflammatory pain induced by CFA was mediated by activation of CB2 receptor, which promoted the autophagy function and the clearance of damaged mitochondria in macrophage.

Objective To preliminarily study the effectiveness and safety of stereotactic ablative brachytherapy (SABT) for lung metastases from cervical cancer. Methods We analyzed the clinical data of 18 patients with cervical cancer with lung metastasis treated with SABT to compare gross tumor volume (VGTV) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) antigen before and after SABT. The clinical benefit rate (CBR) and adverse reactions were recorded. Results After SABT treatment, there were significant decreases in VGTV (t=1.708, P<0.05) and the SCC antigen level (t=1.704, P<0.05). CBR reached 94.4%. Adverse reactions of grades 3-4 did not occur in any patient. Fourteen patients had mild complications, including 1 case of bloody sputum and 1 case of a small pneumothorax. Ten cases developed mild radiation-induced lung injury, with grade 2 radiation pneumonitis in 4 cases. The Karnofsky performance status score and needle depth were not associated with the occurrence of adverse reactions, while the radius of GTV and interstitial lung disease were associated with the occurrence of adverse reactions. Conclusion SABT is a safe and effective alternative to the treatment of lung metastases from cervical cancer.
