OBJECTIVE To systematically evaluate the methodological quality of the postoperative chemotherapy guidelines/ consensuses for ovarian epithelial tumor. METHODS A search was conducted across databases including PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, CBM, VIP, Chinese Medical Journal Data, Wanfang Data, and CNKI, as well as the official websites of GIN, NICE, Medlive, AHRQ, CSCO, ASCO, and NCCN. The search period was from the establishment of the databases/websites to March 10, 2025. The quality of the included guidelines/consensus was evaluated by using the AGREE-Ⅱ tool. RESULTS A total of 16 guidelines/consensuses were included. The domain scores of AGREE-Ⅱ evaluation were as follows: scope and purpose of 85.07%, participants of 47.92%, rigor of development of 57.49%, clarity of presentation of 88.02%, applicability of 8.20%, and independence of 53.39%. Among them, 14 were recommended at grade B and 2 were recommended at grade C. The subgroup analysis by different countries/regions and different types of studies showed that the scores for participants, rigor of development, and independence of the guidelines/consensuses in China were significantly lower than foreign countries (P<0.05); the scores for participants and rigor of development of the guidelines were significantly higher than consensuses (P<0.05). The guideline/ consensus recommendation results indicated that grade B guidelines/consensus recommend platinum-based combination chemotherapy as the preferred adjuvant chemotherapy regimen for stage Ⅰ high-grade serous carcinoma patients;platinum-based combination chemotherapy±bevacizumab was recommended as the preferred adjuvant chemotherapy regimen for stage Ⅱ-Ⅳ high- grade serous carcinoma patients and for platinum-sensitive recurrent high-grade serous carcinoma patients; non-platinum single- agent chemotherapy±bevacizumab was recommended as the preferred chemotherapy regimen for platinum-resistant recurrent high- grade serous carcinoma patients. CONCLUSIONS The overall quality of postoperative chemotherapy guidelines/consensuses for ovarian epithelial tumor is not high. The methodological quality of guidelines/consensuses in China is still lagging behind that of foreign countries. The recommendations differ from those in foreign countries. It is recommended to improve the aspects of participants, rigor of development, and independence, to recommend treatment plans based on the different stages of ovarian cancer, and develop guidelines/consensuses that align with China’s national conditions.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Fuzheng Huayu prescription on hepatocyte extinction and regeneration in fibrotic liver and its mechanism of action in promoting hepatocyte regeneration. MethodsMice were given intraperitoneal injection of CCl4 for 6 weeks to establish a model of liver cirrhosis, and there were 10 mice in the model group, 10 in the sorafenib group, 10 in the Fuzheng Huayu prescription group, and 9 in the normal control group. Since week 4 of modeling, the mice in the Fuzheng Huayu prescription group and the sorafenib group were given the corresponding drug by gavage at a dose of 4.8 g/kg and 4 mg/kg, respectively, for three consecutive weeks, and those in the normal group and the model group were given an equal volume of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. Serum liver function parameters were measured; the METAVIR scoring system was used to evaluate liver inflammation and fibrosis stage; Sirius Red staining and hydroxyproline (Hyp) content in liver tissue were used to evaluate collagen deposition; immunohistochemistry was used to measure the protein expression levels of type IV collagen, CD31, CD32b, Ki67, CyclinD1, glutamine synthetase, Wnt2, and HGF, and Western blot was used to measure the expression levels of Wnt2, LRP6, β-catenin, p-β-catenin, and CyclinD1 in liver tissue. A one-way analysis of variance was used for comparison of continuous data between multiple groups, and the least significant difference t-test was used for further comparison between two groups. ResultsCompared with the model group, the Fuzheng Huayu prescription group and the sorafenib group showed the following changes: significant reductions in the serum levels of alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase and the content of Hyp in liver tissue (all P<0.01); a significant reduction in METAVIR score; significant reductions in the expression levels of type Ⅳ collagen and CD31 (all P<0.05) and a significant increase in the expression level of CD32b (P<0.01); significant reductions in the number of parenchymal extinction lesions and significant increases in the expression levels of Ki67 and CyclinD1 in liver tissue (all P<0.01); significant increases in the protein expression levels of Wnt2, LRP6, β-catenin, and CyclinD1 and a significant reduction in the protein expression level of p-β-catenin (all P<0.05); significant increases in the number of cells stained positive for both CD32b and Wnt2. ConclusionFuzheng Huayu prescription can inhibit hepatic sinusoidal capillarization, improve the Wnt2 exocrine function of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, activate the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway associated with hepatocyte regeneration, and finally reverse liver cirrhosis.

To analyze the biological characteristics of Pasteurella multocida in bovine respiratory tract and its prevalence in large-scale cattle farms, bacterial isolation, culture, and morphological observation were conducted on the lungs and liver samples of dead cows suffering from respiratory diseases in Hohhot,Inner Mongolia. The isolated strains were studied through biochemical testing,16S rRNA gene sequencing, specific primer PCR identification, capsule serotyping, pathogenicity testing, virulence gene testing, drug sensitivity testing, and drug resistance gene detection methods. The results showed that six strains of Pasteurella multocida serotype A were isolated and identi-fied from the lungs of diseased and dead cows. After sequencing the 16S rRNA sequence of the bac-teria,it was found that the six strains of Pasteurella multocida had the closest genetic relationship with the Chongqing isolate CQ2(CP033599.1).The results of mouse pathogenicity test and viru-lence gene detection showed that all isolates were pathogenic and carried at least 16 or more related virulence genes such as exbB,nanB,sodC,oma 87,etc.,but no hsf1 and toxA were detected. The results of drug sensitivity tests and resistance gene detection showed that the isolated strains were sensitive to different degrees of antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, and cefotaxime. They were resistant to streptomycin, clindamycin, and lincomycin, and resistance genes of str A,strB,and tet(H)were detected. The results indicate that there is a certain correlation between the pathoge-nicity and virulence genes, drug resistance phenotype, and drug resistance genes of Pasteurellamultocida type A in cattle. It is recommended to use quinolones(such as ciprofloxacin)and cepha-losporins(such as cefotaxime)antibacterial drugs in clinical practice, which can provide scientific basis and prevention and control plans for the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases caused by Pasteurella multocida in cattle farms, and lay a foundation for the epidemiological mo-nitoring of bovine respiratory multocida pasteurellosis.

BACKGROUND:
LY01005 (Goserelin acetate sustained-release microsphere injection) is a modified gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist injected monthly. This phase III trial study aimed to evaluated the efficacy and safety of LY01005 in Chinese patients with prostate cancer.
METHODS:
We conducted a randomized controlled, open-label, non-inferiority trial across 49 sites in China. This study included 290 patients with prostate cancer who received either LY01005 or goserelin implants every 28 days for three injections. The primary efficacy endpoints were the percentage of patients with testosterone suppression ≤50 ng/dL at day 29 and the cumulative probability of testosterone ≤50 ng/dL from day 29 to 85. Non-inferiority was prespecified at a margin of -10%. Secondary endpoints included significant castration (≤20 ng/dL), testosterone surge within 72 h following repeated dosing, and changes in luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and prostate specific antigen levels.
RESULTS:
On day 29, in the LY01005 and goserelin implant groups, testosterone concentrations fell below medical-castration levels in 99.3% (142/143) and 100% (140/140) of patients, respectively, with a difference of -0.7% (95% confidence interval [CI], -3.9% to 2.0%) between the two groups. The cumulative probabilities of maintaining castration from days 29 to 85 were 99.3% and 97.8%, respectively, with a between-group difference of 1.5% (95% CI, -1.3% to 4.4%). Both results met the criterion for non-inferiority. Secondary endpoints were similar between groups. Both treatments were well-tolerated. LY01005 was associated with fewer injection-site reactions than the goserelin implant (0% vs . 1.4% [2/145]).
CONCLUSION:
LY01005 is as effective as goserelin implants in reducing testosterone to castration levels, with a similar safety profile.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2023;56(11):1278-1284
Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of chronic natural killer cell lymphoproliferative disease (CLPD-NK) associated peripheral neuropathy. Methods:The clinical data of 1 case of CLPD-NK associated peripheral neuropathy who was hospitalized in Beijing Chaoyang Hospital on March 17, 2022 were reported. The clinical characteristics, laboratory examinations, nerve biopsy, treatment and prognosis of CLPD-NK associated peripheral neuropathy were summarized in combination with domestic and foreign literature reports. Results:This patient was a 62-year-old woman with progressive weakness and numbness of limbs. Nerve conduction test revealed peripheral nerves injures of limbs. No abnormality was found in a routine biochemistry test of cerebrospinal fluid. Lymphocyte infiltration was found in the nerve bundle of sural nerve with CD56(+), TIA-1(+). After prednisone combined with cyclophosphamide treatment, her weakness and numbness of limbs were relieved, and the white blood cells count decreased. A total of 10 cases of CLPD-NK associated peripheral neuropathy were summarized, including 5 males and 5 females. The median onset age was 64 years. The peripheral blood white cells count was 5.50×10 9/L-24.66×10 9/L, the lymphocytes count was 1.54×10 9/L-32.00×10 9/L, and cerebrospinal fluid protein increased in 3 cases. Biopsy of sural nerve showed NK cell infiltration in all patients. Immunosuppression was the main treatment, and most patients had a good prognosis. Conclusions:CLPD-NK associated peripheral neuropathy is rare. Peripheral nerve biopsy is the important diagnostic method. Corticosteroids and immunosuppressants are effective for this disease.

Objective:To develop a grading prediction model of traumatic hemorrhage volume based on deep learning and assist in predicting traumatic hemorrhage volume. Methods:A retrospective observational study was conducted based on the experimental data of pig gunshot wounds in the time-effect assessment database for experiments on war-traumatized animals constructed by the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. The hemorrhage volume data of the study population were extracted, and the animals were divided into 0-300 mL, 301-600 mL, and > 600 mL groups according to the hemorrhage volume. Using vital signs indexes as the predictive variables and hemorrhage volume grading as the outcome variable, trauma hemorrhage volume grading prediction models were developed based on four traditional machine learning and ten deep learning methods. Using laboratory test indexes as predictive variables and hemorrhage volume grading as outcome variables, trauma hemorrhage volume grading prediction models were developed based on the above fourteen methods. The effect of the two groups of models was evaluated by accuracy and area under the receiver operator characteristic curve (AUC), and the optimal models in the two groups were mixed to obtain hybrid model 1. Feature selection was conducted according to the genetic algorithm, and hybrid model 2 was constructed according to the best feature combination. Finally, hybrid model 2 was deployed in the animal experiment database system.Results:Ninety-six traumatic animals in the database were enrolled, including 27 pigs in the 0-300 mL group, 40 in the 301-600 mL group, and 29 in the > 600 mL group. Among the fourteen models based on vital signs indexes, fully convolutional network (FCN) model was the best [accuracy: 60.0%, AUC and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) was 0.699 (0.671-0.727)]. Among the fourteen models based on laboratory test indexes, recurrent neural network (RNN) model was the best [accuracy: 68.9%, AUC (95% CI) was 0.845 (0.829-0.860)]. After mixing the FCN and RNN models, the hybrid model 1, namely RNN-FCN model was obtained, and the performance of the model was improved [accuracy: 74.2%, AUC (95% CI) was 0.847 (0.833-0.862)]. Feature selection was carried out by genetic algorithm, and the hybrid model 2, namely RNN-FCN* model, was constructed according to the selected feature combination, which further improved the model performance [accuracy: 80.5%, AUC (95% CI) was 0.880 (0.868-0.893)]. The hybrid model 2 contained ten indexes, including mean arterial pressure (MAP), hematocrit (HCT), platelet count (PLT), lactic acid, arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PaCO 2), Total CO 2, blood sodium, anion gap (AG), fibrinogen (FIB), international normalized ratio (INR). Finally, the RNN-FCN* model was deployed in the database system, which realized automatic, continuous, efficient, intelligent, and grading prediction of hemorrhage volume in traumatic animals. Conclusion:Based on deep learning, a grading prediction model of traumatic hemorrhage volume was developed and deployed in the information system to realize the intelligent grading prediction of traumatic animal hemorrhage volume.

Objective:To study the effect of eye-open/closed state on 40 Hz auditory steady state response (ASSR) in first-degree relatives of schizophrenia.Methods:Thirty-eight first-degree relatives of schizophrenic patients treated in Shanghai Mental Health Center from March 2010 to October 2011 were selected, and 31 healthy controls were recruited in the same period. All subjects were assessed with schizotypal personality questionnaire (SPQ). The 40 Hz EEG ASSR signals lasting for 3 min under open and closed eyes of all subjects were sequentially collected.Event-related spectrum perturbation (ERSP) and intertribal phase coherence (ITC) were used to evaluate ASSR. SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Two-way analysis of variance was used to compare ITC and ERSP between the two groups under open and closed eyes. Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between each measurement. Results:ITC in group main effect and group×the eye open/closed interaction effect were not significant (both P>0.05), but the main effect of eye-open and eye-closed was significant ( F(1, 67)=10.61, P=0.002). In the healthy control group, the ITC in eye-open state was significantly higher than that in eye-closed state ( P=0.014), and in the first-degree relatives group, the ITC in eye-open state was higher than that in eyes closed state ( P=0.039). ERSP in the main effect of eye-open and eye-closed ( F(1, 67)=0.195, P=0.660), group main effect ( F(1, 67) =0.627, P=0.431), group × the eye-open/closed interaction effect ( F(1, 67)= 1.034, P=0.313) was not significant. Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was no correlation between ERSP (eye open: r=-0.260, P=0.210; eye closed: r=-0.318, P=0.122), ITC (eye open: r=-0.248, P=0.232; eye closed: r=-0.260, P=0.209) and SPQ score in the healthy control group. There was also no correlation between ERSP (eye open: r=-0.387, P=0.226; eye closed: r=-0.363, P=0.238) or ITC (eye open: r=0.126, P=0.485; eye closed: r=0.096, P=0.595) and SPQ score in the first-degree relatives group of schizophrenia. Conclusion:The regulation pattern of 40 Hz ASSR in schizophrenic first-degree relatives is not significantly impaired in the eye-open/closed state, suggesting that the open/closed regulation pattern of 40 Hz ASSR may not be a potential marker for predicting the genetic high-risk prognosis of schizophrenia.
