ObjectiveTo analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pathogens in foodborne disease cases in Haining City, Zhejiang Province, and to provide a basis for the prevention and investigation of foodborne diseases and outbreak events. MethodsInformation on foodborne disease patients from 2014 to 2023 was collected, and stool or anal swab samples were tested for relevant pathogens. The χ2 test was used to compare the differences in pathogen detection rates among different groups, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors for pathogen detection. ResultsA total of 5 814 samples were tested, with a positive detection rate of 15.36%. The detection rates were 4.95% for norovirus, 4.49% for Escherichia coli, 3.59% for Salmonella, 2.22% for Vibrio parahaemolyticus, and 0.11% for Shigella. The positive detection rates showed seasonal characteristics, with a minor peak in March-April dominated by norovirus and a major peak in July-September dominated by bacteria. The three groups with the highest detection rates were workers, white-collar workers and other groups. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, season, and antibiotic use before consultation were significant influencing factors for pathogen detection (P<0.05). Total pathogen detection risk was lower in the group that took antibiotics before visiting the clinic compared to those who did not (OR=0.29, 95%CI: 0.15‒0.49). The detection risk for norovirus was lower in the preschool age group (OR=0.19, 95%CI: 0.04‒1.00), in summer and autumn (OR range 0.23‒0.41), and in the group taking antibiotics (OR=0.42, 95%CI: 0.15‒0.92), but higher in the adolescent group (OR=1.40, 95%CI: 1.05‒1.88). The detection risk for enteropathogenic Escherichia coli was higher in summer (OR=1.82, 95%CI: 1.30‒2.60). The detection risk for Salmonella increased in the elderly group and in summer (OR range 1.44‒2.21), but decreased in the adolescent group, in winter, and in the group taking antibiotics (OR range 0.22‒0.65). The detection risk for Vibrio parahaemolyticus increased in summer and autumn (OR range 1.80‒1.90), but decreased in the primary and secondary school student group and in winter (OR range 0.10‒0.32). ConclusionThe prevalence of foodborne disease pathogens in Haining City is relatively high. Age, season, and antibiotic use before consultation are independent influencing factors for pathogen detection. These findings suggest that specific hypotheses regarding pathogenic factors can be proposed based on the time of occurrence and the age distribution of cases during field investigations of foodborne outbreaks.

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and management strategies of the patients who were injured in winter snow sports in parts of Qingdao in order to provide useful information for "300 million people participating in ice and snow sports" .Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the data of 128 patients who had been admitted to Department of Orthopaedics, Qingdao Central Hospital for skiing injuries from November 2019 to March 2021. The gender, type, location and cause of injury, and treatment method of the patients were statistically analyzed. Results:Of the 128 patients, 72 were males and 56 females with an age of (32.0±12.1) years. Single injury accounted for 97.66% (125/128) while multiple injuries 2.34% (3/128). 46 injuries (35.11%, 46/131) due to single board skiing occurred in 44 patients (34.38%, 44/128); 85 injuries (64.89%, 85/131) due to double board skiing occurred in 84 cases (65.62%, 84/128). As for injury types, there were 44 cases (34.38%, 44/128) of soft tissue injury and 84 fractures (65.62%, 84/128). The top 3 injured locations were the lower leg (24.43%, 32/131), the peri-wrist part (18.32%, 24/131), and the peri-knee part (15.27%, 20/131). The most vulnerable location was, respectively, the wrist joint (26.09%, 12/46) in single board skiing and the calf (31.76%, 27/85) in double board skiing. The top three causes of injury were accidental fall (39.06%, 50/128), being struck by someone or emergency evacuation (14.84%, 19/128), and mismatched equipment models (12.50%, 16/128). The proportion of skiing beginners was as high as 76.56% (98/128). Surgical treatment was performed in 49 cases (38.28%, 49/128), and conservative treatment in 79 cases (61.72%, 79/128).Conclusions:The clinical characteristics of the patients who were injured in winter snow sports in parts of Qingdao are high proportions of skiing beginners, falls and fractures. Special attention needs to be paid to wrist protection in single board skiing and checking the ski disengagement device before double board skiing. Most patients may need only conservative treatment because although a number of patients required surgical treatment, severe multiple injuries were rare.

Objective:
To describe the secular trend of BMI and its consistency with self-rated BMI status in Chinese children and adolescents, and to further investigate the related factors affecting self-rated BMI,so as to provide a scientific reference for interventional measures.
Methods:
A total of 6 238 children and adolescents aged 6-18 years were selected according to date from Chinese Health and Nutrition Svrvey during 2000-2015 and the criteria from National Health Commission of China. The Lambda-Mu-Sigma method(LMS) and Kappa consistency test were, respectively, applied to describe the percentiles for BMI and its agreement with self-rated BMI status. Multinomial Logistic model was used to assess the related factors influencing self-rated BMI status.
Results:
P50 and P85 percentiles showed an increasing trend, especially the increase of high percentile of BMI. Regardless of age and sex, the measured and self-rated BMI showed low agreement. More than 50% of over-weighted or underweighted children perceived themselves as normal-weight, and about 1/4 of normal weight students misclassified themselves as abnormal in weight. Urban boys were more likely to evaluate themselves as underweight [OR(95%CI) =1.43(1.18-1.73)]. Boys who favored popular showed[OR(95%CI)=1.80(1.23-2.55) and cartoon [OR (95%CI) =1.39(1.00-1.96)] were more likely to consider themselves as overweight. Girls in the older age group [OR (95%CI)=2.74(2.08-3.61)] and urban [1.53(1.21-1.94)] who favored popular programs [OR(95%CI) =1.74(1.27-2.38)] were more likely to perceived themselves as overweight. But girls who like anime/cartoons were more likely to think they were underweight [OR(95%CI)=1.78(1.33-2.40)].
Conclusion
The trend of BMI has shown an increasing trend in the past decade and it demonstrated a large bias with perceived BMI. Age, area and type of video were significant factors that influenced the self-rated BMI status.

Objective To investigate the effects of human leukocyte-associated antigen-G (HLA-G) expression in silencing trophoblast cell line JEG-3 under normal and hypoxic conditions on invasion and proliferation of JEG-3 cells. Methods Inhibition of HLA-G expression in JEG-3 cells by transfection of small interfering RNA (siRNA),the transfected JEG-3 cells were divided into 4 groups: normoxia control group, hypoxia control group, normoxia inhibition group and hypoxia inhibition group. The levels of HLA-G mRNA and protein in 4 groups of cells were detected by real-time quantitive PCR and western blot. The proliferation activity and invasion ability of 4 groups of cells were determined by methylthiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay and invasion assay. Results (1) Real-time quantitive PCR technology showed: the level of HLA-G mRNA in the hypoxic inhibition group (0.220±0.050) was significantly different (P<0.05), when compared with that in the hypoxic control group (0.630±0.030) and normoxic inhibition group (0.400± 0.020). (2) Western blot analysis showed: the expression level of HLA-G protein in the hypoxic inhibition group was 0.260±0.010, statistically different from that in the hypoxic control group (0.850±0.100) and the normoxic inhibition group (0.560±0.020; P<0.05).(3) MTT showed: proliferative activity of JEG-3 cells in the normoxic inhibition group was 0.490 ± 0.070, the ability of cell proliferation was reduced. When compared with that in the normoxic control group (0.850±0.050), the differences was statistically significant (P<0.05). The proliferative activity of JEG-3 cells in the hypoxic inhibition group (0.330±0.070) was lower than that in the normoxic inhibition group (0.490±0.070), and there was a significant difference (P<0.05). (4) Invasion assay showed: compared with the normoxic control group (98±7), the invasive ability of JEG-3 cells in the normoxic inhibition group (73 ± 7) was weakened, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The number of transmembrane cells (52±11) of JEG-3 cells in the hypoxic inhibition group was lower than that in the hypoxic control group (72±7), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the normoxic inhibition group, the invasion ability of JEG-3 cells in the hypoxic inhibition group decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Under hypoxia, using siRNA technology to down-regulate the expression of HLA-G may affect the proliferation and invasion ability of trophoblast cells, which may be involved in the occurrence of hypertensive disorder of pregnancy.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of psychological capital on occupational stress of employees in labor-intensive electronic enterprises. METHODS: A total of 1 723 employees in 5 labor-intensive electronic enterprises were selected as study subjects by cluster sampling method. The Psychological Capital Questionnaire and Simple Job Stress Questionnaire were used to investigate their psychological capital and job demand-control( JDC) occupational stress. The effect of psychological capital on occupational stress was analyzed. RESULTS: Total average score of psychological capital of the study subjects was( 4. 4 ± 0. 7). The average scores of self-efficacy,hope,resilience,optimism dimensions were( 4. 3 ± 0. 9),( 4. 5 ± 0. 8),( 4. 5 ± 0. 8) and( 4. 4 ± 0. 7),respectively. The proportions of active, relaxed, nervous and passive occupational stress accounted for 24. 2%,24. 7%,23. 5% and 27. 6% respectively. The detection rate of JDC mode high occupational stress was 68. 7%( 1 184/1 723). The proportion of active occupational stress of the low-psychologicalcapital group was lower( 28. 3% vs 20. 2%,P < 0. 001),the proportion of passive occupational stress was higher( 23. 4% vs 31. 7%,P < 0. 001),the positive rate of JDC high occupational stress was higher( 63. 3% vs 74. 1%,P <0. 01),compared with the high-psychological-capital group. The multivariate logistic analysis showed that the risk of JDC high occupational stress in the low-psychological-capital group was higher than that in the high-psychological-capital group( P < 0. 01),after eliminating the confounding factors such as length of service, education level and personal monthly income. CONCLUSION: The psychological capital of employees in labor-intensive electronics enterprises was associated with the occupational stress of the JDC model. The occupational stress can be reduced by improving the psychological capital of workers.
