This paper systematically combed and verified the name, origin, producing area, quality evaluation, harvesting, processing of Euryales Semen in famous classical formulas by consulting relevant ancient materia medica, medical books, prescription books and modern literature. The results showed that Euryales Semen was first collected by materia medica under the name of Jitoushi, and since the Ming dynasty, Qianshi has been used as a proper name and continues to this day, with other aliases such as Yanhuishi. Euryale ferox, a plant of the Nymphaeaceae family, is the same as that used in the past dynasties. However, due to long-term artificial domestication, the varieties vary with the origin, including Beiqian and Suqian. The medicinal part of Euryales Semen is mature seed kernel, its origin of ancient records mainly includes Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and other places, since the Ming and Qing dynasties, Euryales Semen produced in Suzhou has been highly praised. Since modern times, it has gradually summarized and formed the best quality evaluation method of Euryales Semen with full grains, white cross-section, powdery enough and no broken powder. The harvesting time in the past dynasties was mainly August or in autumn. The main processing methods in the past dynasties included peeling for powder, pounding powder after steaming, drying and frying. Up to now, two mainstream processing methods of cleansing and stir-frying have been formed. Based on the research results, it is recommended that the mature seed kernel of E. ferox be used in famous classical formula Yihuangtang. Combined with the processing requirements of the original formula, it is suggested to refer to the stir-frying method in the general principles of processing of the current edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.

Journal of Zhejiang University. Science. B 2023;24(2):101-114
Given its state of stable proliferative inhibition, cellular senescence is primarily depicted as a critical mechanism by which organisms delay the progression of carcinogenesis. Cells undergoing senescence are often associated with the alteration of a series of specific features and functions, such as metabolic shifts, stemness induction, and microenvironment remodeling. However, recent research has revealed more complexity associated with senescence, including adverse effects on both physiological and pathological processes. How organisms evade these harmful consequences and survive has become an urgent research issue. Several therapeutic strategies targeting senescence, including senolytics, senomorphics, immunotherapy, and function restoration, have achieved initial success in certain scenarios. In this review, we describe in detail the characteristic changes associated with cellular senescence and summarize currently available countermeasures.

6.Research Progress of FLT3 Mutation in Acute Myeloid Leukemia --Review.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2023;31(3):922-926
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a heterogeneous hematopoietic tumor originated from hematopoietic stem cells. FLT3 is an important receptor tyrosine kinase in cell signal transduction pathway and one of the common mutated genes in AML. AML patients with FLT3-ITD mutation have a poor prognosis and tendency to relapse. Therefore, early identification of FLT3 gene mutation and selection of appropriate treatment are particularly important. Currently, the small moleculetargeted drugs have been new treatment methods for AML patients with FLT3-ITD mutation, but accompanied drug resistance need to be solved. This paper reviews the mechanism of FLT3 mutation, the clinical significance of FLT3 mutation in AML, FLT3 inhibitors and drug resistance mechanism.

Objective: To summarize and analyse of literature on the susceptibility genes of noise induced hearing loss (NIHL) , and the key genes were screened and obtained by bioinformatics method, so as to provide reference for the prevention research of NIHL. Methods: In September 2021, Based on CNKI, NCBI Pubmed database and Web of Science database, this paper conducted bibliometric analysis and bioinformatics analysis on the genetic literature related to the susceptibility to noise-induced hearing loss from 1999 to 2020. Endnote X9 software and the WPS office software were used for bibliometric analysis, and online software STRING and Cytoscape software were used for bioinformatics analysis. Results: A total of 131 literatures were included in the study, involving 40 genes in total. Bibliometric analysis shows that 131 papers which included 36 Chinese articles and 95 English articles were published in 63 biomedical journals; the highest number of published articles was 19 in 2020. Bioinformatics analysis suggests that GAPDH、SOD2、SOD1、CAT、CASP3、IL6 and other genes play a key role in the interaction network. The involved pathways mainly include MAP2K and MAPK activations, PTEN regulation, P53-depardent G1 DNA damage response, signaoling by BRAF and RAF fusions and soon. Conclusion: The study of noise induced hearing loss involves multi gene biological information, and bioinformatics analysis is helpful to predict the occurrence and development of noise induced hearing loss.

This study aimed to provide data support for resource utilization of the stems and leaves of Astragalus membranaceus var. mongholicus(SLAM) by analyzing and evaluating the chemical constituents. The crude protein, crude fiber, and soluble saccharide of SLAM were analyzed by Kjeldahl method, filtration method, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry, respectively. The nucleosides, amino acids, flavonoids, and saponins of SLAM were analyzed by ultraperformance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry(UPLC-TQ-MS). Combined with principal component analysis(PCA), the quality difference of resource components of SLAM was comprehensively evaluated. The results showed that the average content of crude protein, crude fiber, total polysaccharide, and redu-cing sugar in SLAM was 5.11%, 30.33%, 11.03 mg·g~(-1), and 31.90 mg·g~(-1), respectively. Six nucleosides, 15 amino acids, 22 flavonoids, and one saponin were detected, with an average content of 1.49 mg·g~(-1), 6.00 mg·g~(-1), 1.86 mg·g~(-1), and 35.67 μg·g~(-1), respectively. The content of various types of chemical components in SLAM differed greatly in different harvesting periods and growing years. The results of PCA showed that the quality of SLAM produced in Ningxia was superior. The results can provide references for the utilization of SLAM.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2023;31(6):1720-1725
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the value of multiple detection methods based on histopathology and supplemented by bone marrow or peripheral blood sample detections in the comprehensive diagnosis of mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
METHODS:
The clinical, immunophenotypic, pathologic, cytogenetic and molecular features of 153 newly diagnosed MCL patients admitted to the hematology department of our hospital from May 2009 to September 2022 were analyzed.
RESULTS:
144 (96.6%) of the 149 MCL patients who underwent marrow or peripheral blood IGH/CCND1 FISH detection at initial diagnosis were positive, of which 36 cases (24.2%) had a low proportion positive. The immunophenotypes in 115 patients were analyzed by flow cytometry (FCM), 89 cases (77.4%) conformed to MCL while 23 cases (20.0%) were initially diagnosed as B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders (B-LPD). Of the 75 cases who performed bone marrow biopsy, 50 cases (66.7%) had morphological and immunophenotypic characteristics consistent with MCL, 15 cases (20.0%) were classified as B-LPD, and 10 cases with no obvious abnormality. 77 patients underwent histopathology examination, of which 73 cases (94.8%) had typical clinicopathological features of MCL, including 2 CCND1 negative MCL, 2 pleomorphic variants, 5 pleomorphic variants and 4 cases diagnosed as other leukemia or lymphoma. Among 153 cases of MCL, 128 cases were classic MCL(cMCL), and another 25 cases (16.3%) were diagnosed as leukemic non-lymph node MCL (lnnMCL). The incidence of IGHV mutation, TP53 mutation and CD23 expression positive were significantly different between cMCL and lnnMCL.
CONCLUSION
Histopathology is still the main standard for the diagnosis of cMCL, and detection based on bone marrow or peripheral blood samples is an important means for the diagnosis of lnnMCL. Single marker or examination can cause a certain proportion of misdiagnosis. The accurate diagnosis of MCL depends on a combination of multiple detection methods.
