1.Long term follow-up results of pipeline embolization devices showing no in-stent stenosis at short-to-medium term follow-up examination

		                        			Objective To investigate the long-term incidence of in-stent stenosis(ISS)in patients with intracranial aneurysms receiving pipeline embolization device(PED)who showed no ISS at short-to-medium term follow-up examination.Methods The clinical data of patients,who received PED treatment at the Department of Neurointervention,First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University of China between April 2015 and June 2022,were retrospectively collected.The patients with intracranial aneurysms,who showed no ISS at the initial follow-up with DS A and completed>12 months long-term follow-up check after treatment at the same hospital,were screened out,and their relevant clinical data and imaging materials were collected.The incidence of ISS occurring in postoperative>12 months long-term follow-up was calculated.The ISS was defined as a>25%lumen loss of the parent artery when compared with its lumen size measured immediately after PED implantation.Results A total of 57 patients with 61 aneurysms were enrolled in this study,and a total of 68 PEDs were implanted.Forty-one(67.21%)aneurysms were treated by PED implantation only,and 20(32.79%)aneurysms by PED plus spring coils.The median initial follow-up time was 184.0 days(119.0,212.5).At postoperative>12 months long-term follow-up visit,DSA was employed for 35(57.38%)aneurysms,CTA was adopted for 22(36.07%)aneurysms,and 3D-SPACE sequence MR scan was performed in 4(6.56%)aneurysms.The median follow-up time was 538.0 days(407.5,678.0),and the incidence of ISS was 0%.No ISS-related neurological symptoms occurred in all patients.Conclusion In treating intracranial aneurysms with PED,the postoperative incidence of ISS is low.No ISS is found during the short-term follow-up period,and long-term follow-up results tend to indicate that no ISS events have occurred.

3.Application and value of intravascular ultrasound for excimer laser ablation combined with drug-coated balloon in the treatment of lower limb arteriosclerotic obliterans.

		                        			Objective: To examine the value of intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) for excimer laser ablation (ELA) combined with drug-coated balloon (DCB) in treating lower limb arteriosclerotic obliterans (ASO). Methods: As a prospective case series study, patients who underwent ELA combined with DCB for lower limb ASO with the guidance of IVUS from September 2021 to March 2022 at Department of Vascular Surgery, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University were enrolled prospectively. Lesion characteristics, procedure-related outcomes and complications were collected. The therapy outcomes were compared with baseline data by paired t test. Results: There were 8 males and 2 females, aged (72.0±5.9) years (range: 61 to 81 years). Of all the 11 lesions, there were 8 lesions in superficial femoral artery and 3 in popliteal artery. The lesion length was (7.0±2.4) cm (range: 3.2 to 9.8 cm). There were 4 chronic totally occlusion and 7 severe stenosis. All patients underwent the operation successfully. The technical success rate was 10/11. Bailout stenting was performed in one lesion because of flow-limiting dissection. Four lesions were grade 3 to 4 in peripheral artery calcium score system, and 9 lesions with calcification arc≥180°. Larger diameter drug-coated balloons were selected in 5 lesions after measurement of intravascular ultrasound. The follow-up time was (6.0±1.9) months (range: 3 to 9 months). The ankle-brachial index of the patient was significantly improved immediately after surgery (0.97±0.13 vs. 0.48±0.18, t=-7.60, P<0.01) and at 3 months after surgery (0.95±0.12 vs. 0.48±0.18, t=-7.17, P<0.01). The 3-month primary patency rate was 11/11, the target lesion reintervention was 0 and ulcer healing rate was 3/4. Conclusion: IVUS assisted ELA in the treatment of lower limb artery lesions is safe and effective in early stage.

4.Preliminary exploration of endovascular treatment for cerebral infarction caused by middle cerebral artery stenosis with hypoperfusion in the blood supply area of the lenticulostriate artery

		                        			Objective:To evaluate the necessity, safety and efficacy of endovascular treatment for cerebral infarction caused by middle cerebral artery (MCA) stenosis with hypoperfusion in the blood supply area of the lenticulostriate artery.Methods:The clinical and surgical data of patients with MCA atherosclerotic disease who underwent endovascular treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2014 to October 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. A total of 6 patients with cerebral infarction caused by MCA stenosis with hypoperfusion in the blood supply area of the lenticulostriate artery were selected. The preoperative and postoperative clinical imaging characteristics, perioperative complications and follow-up of these 6 patients were summarized and evaluated.Results:After the endovascular treatment, the imaging of the lenticulostriate artery in all the 6 patients was clearer than that before the operation, and the number of main trunks of the lenticulostriate artery shown by imaging in 2 patients was more than that before operation. The computer tomography perfusion of 6 patients after the endovascular treatment showed that perfusion in the supply area of the lenticulostriate artery was significantly improved compared with pre-operation. No stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA) and death occurred during the perioperative period. The time of clinical follow-up was 360 (322, 495) days, and there were no stroke, TIA or death occurring in the corresponding artery. All the 6 patients underwent imaging follow-up, of which 3 patients underwent digital subtraction angiography and 3 underwent CT angiography. The lumen of the target vessels showed patency in all patients.Conclusions:With rigorous imaging evaluation, endovascular treatment may be safe and effective for cerebral infarction caused by MCA stenosis with hypoperfusion in the blood supply area of the lenticulostriate artery.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
5.The relationship between peripheral blood mitochondrial DNA copy number and incident risk of liver cancer: a case-cohort study.

		                        			Objective: To investigate the association between peripheral blood mitochondrial DNA copy number (mtDNAcn) and incident risk of liver cancer. Methods: At the baseline of Dongfeng-Tongji (DFTJ) cohort, 27 009 retirees were recruited from Dongfeng Motor Corporation in 2008. After excluding people without baseline DNA, with current malignant tumor and loss of follow-up, 1 173 participants were randomly selected into a sub-cohort by age-and gender-stratified sampling method at a proportion of 5% among all retirees. A total of 154 incident liver cancer cases identified from the cohort before December 31, 2018 (4 cases had been selected into the sub-cohort) were selected to form the case cohort of liver cancer. For the above 1 323 participants, their baseline levels of mtDNAcn in peripheral blood cells were measured by using quantitative real-time PCR method. The restricted cubic spline analysis was used to fit the shape of the association between baseline mtDNAcn and incident risk of liver cancer. The weighted Cox proportional hazards model was used to estimate the hazard ratio (HR) and 95%CI. Results: In this case-cohort study, the median follow-up time was 10.3 years. The restricted cubic spline analysis indicated that the relationship between peripheral blood mtDNAcn and incident risk of liver cancer followed a U-shaped pattern (Pnon-linear<0.05). All case-cohort population were divided into four subgroups by sex-specific quartiles of mtDNAcn levels among sub-cohort participants, when compared to participants in the Q2 subgroup of mtDNAcn, those in the Q1 subgroup (HR=2.00,95%CI:1.08-3.70) and Q4 subgroup (HR=4.11,95%CI:2.32-7.26) both had a significantly elevated risk of liver cancer, while those in the Q3 subgroup (HR=1.05,95%CI:0.54-2.05) had not. There were no significant multiply interaction effects of aging, gender, tobacco smoking, alcohol drinking and history of chronic hepatitis on the above association (Pinteraction>0.05). Conclusion: Both extremely low and high baseline level of mtDNAcn in peripheral blood cells are associated with an increased risk of incident liver cancer, but the underlying mechanisms need to be further clarified.

6.A time-series study on the association of ambient temperature with daily outpatient visits of eczema in Huizhou city.

		                        			Objective: To explore the impact of environmental temperature exposure on eczema visits. Methods: Eczema clinic data from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2019 were collected from the Huizhou Dermatology Hospital, and data on meteorological factors (average daily temperature and relative humidity) for the same period were derived from 86 meteorological stations of the Guangdong Provincial Climate Center. A distributed lag nonlinear model (DLNM) was used to assess the lagged effect of environmental temperature exposure on eczema, and a natural smooth spline function was used to control the nonlinear confounding of humidity. Results: There were 254 053 eczema outpatient visits at the Huizhou Dermatology Hospital within four years, with an average of 173.89 visits per day. The relationship between daily average temperature and the number of visits was non-linear (U shape). The risk of eczema increased by 2.20% (1.19%-3.21%) for every 1 ℃ decrease for the low temperature, and increased by 2.35% (1.24%-3.5%) for every 1 ℃ increase for the high temperature. The effect of high temperature was greater than that of low temperature. In all cases, 1.60% (0.44%-2.68%) of eczema outpatient visits were attributed to low temperature and the attributable number was 4 065 (1 128-6 798), while 6.33% (1.40%-10.87%) of eczema outpatient visits were due to high temperature and the attributable number was 16 082 (3 557-27 616). 7.Progress in application of intravascular ultrasound in lower extremity artery disease.

		                        			Accurately assessing the characteristics of lower extremity arterial lesions plays an important role in guiding endovascular therapy. Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) has attracted more and more attention as a choice for the assessment of extremity arterial diseases. IVUS can accurately assess vessel size, lesion morphology, lesion composition and dissection to guide endovascular therapy selection and predict restenosis. IVUS has advantages over "gold standard" digital subtraction angiography in the evaluation of geometric features and composition of lesions. 		                        			Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics of children with Burkitt lymphoma (BL) and to summarize the mid-term efficacy of China Net Childhood Lymphoma-mature B-cell lymphoma 2017 (CNCL-B-NHL-2017) regimen. Methods: Clinical features of 436 BL patients who were ≤18 years old and treated with the CNCL-B-NHL-2017 regimen from May 2017 to April 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. Clinical characteristics of patients at disease onset were analyzed and the therapeutic effects of patients with different clinical stages and risk groups were compared. Survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier method, and Cox regression was used to identify the prognostic factors. Results: Among 436 patients, there were 368 (84.4%) males and 68 (15.6%) females, the age of disease onset was 6.0 (4.0, 9.0) years old. According to the St. Jude staging system, there were 4 patients (0.9%) with stage Ⅰ, 30 patients (6.9%) with stage Ⅱ, 217 patients (49.8%) with stage Ⅲ, and 185 patients (42.4%) with stage Ⅳ. All patients were stratified into following risk groups: group A (n=1, 0.2%), group B1 (n=46, 10.6%), group B2 (n=19, 4.4%), group C1 (n=285, 65.4%), group C2 (n=85, 19.5%). Sixty-three patients (14.4%) were treated with chemotherapy only and 373 patients (85.6%) were treated with chemotherapy combined with rituximab. Twenty-one patients (4.8%) suffered from progressive disease, 3 patients (0.7%) relapsed, and 13 patients (3.0%) died of treatment-related complications. The follow-up time of all patients was 24.0 (13.0, 35.0) months, the 2-year event free survival (EFS) rate of all patients was (90.9±1.4) %. The 2-year EFS rates of group A, B1, B2, C1 and C2 were 100.0%, 100.0%, (94.7±5.1) %, (90.7±1.7) % and (85.9±4.0) %, respectively. The 2-year EFS rates was higher in group A, B1, and B2 than those in group C1 (χ2=4.16, P=0.041) and group C2 (χ2=7.21, P=0.007). The 2-year EFS rates of the patients treated with chemotherapy alone and those treated with chemotherapy combined with rituximab were (79.3±5.1)% and (92.9±1.4)% (χ2=14.23, P<0.001) respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that stage Ⅳ (including leukemia stage), serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)>4-fold normal value, and with residual tumor in the mid-term evaluation were risk factors for poor prognosis (HR=1.38,1.23,8.52,95%CI 1.05-1.82,1.05-1.43,3.96-18.30). Conclusions: The CNCL-B-NHL-2017 regimen show significant effect in the treatment of pediatric BL. 		                        			Objective Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and tuberculosis (TB) are major public health and social issues worldwide. The long-term follow-up of COVID-19 with pulmonary TB (PTB) survivors after discharge is unclear. This study aimed to comprehensively describe clinical outcomes, including sequela and recurrence at 3, 12, and 24 months after discharge, among COVID-19 with PTB survivors. Methods From January 22, 2020 to May 6, 2022, with a follow-up by August 26, 2022, a prospective, multicenter follow-up study was conducted on COVID-19 with PTB survivors after discharge in 13hospitals from four provinces in China. Clinical outcomes, including sequela, recurrence of COVID-19, and PTB survivors, were collected via telephone and face-to-face interviews at 3, 12, and 24 months after discharge. Results Thirty-two COVID-19 with PTB survivors were included. The median age was 52 (45, 59) years, and 23 (71.9%) were men. Among them, nearly two-thirds (62.5%) of the survivors were moderate, three (9.4%) were severe, and more than half (59.4%) had at least one comorbidity (PTB excluded). The proportion of COVID-19 survivors with at least one sequela symptom decreased from 40.6% at 3 months to 15.8% at 24 months, with anxiety having a higher proportion over a follow-up. Cough and amnesia recovered at the 12-month follow-up, while anxiety, fatigue, and trouble sleeping remained after 24 months. Additionally, one (3.1%) case presented two recurrences of PTB and no re-positive COVID-19 during the follow-up period. Conclusion The proportion of long symptoms in COVID-19 with PTB survivors decreased over time, while nearly one in six still experience persistent symptoms with a higher proportion of anxiety. 10.Research of prognostic immunophenotypes in 163 patients of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma

		                        			Objective:To screen and analyze the prognostic protein biomarkers of DLBCL, and to explore their value in the prognostic evaluation.Methods:163 cases of confirmed DLBCLs from January 2011 to December 2016 were collected with their clinical, pathological and follow-up data, which were all from our hospital. The expression of protein markers were tested using immunohistochemical staining (IHC) . The immune phenotypes independent of the International Prognostic Index (IPI) that affect overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) of DLBCL were explored by COX regression model, and the effect of their co-expression on the prognosis were also analyzed.Result:BCL6 negative (PFS: HR=1.652, 95% CI 1.030-2.649, P=0.037) , P53 positive (OS: HR=1.842, 95% CI 1.008-3.367, P=0.047) , and BCL2 strong positive expressions (S+) (OS: HR=2.102, 95% CI 1.249-3.537, P=0.005; PFS: HR=2.126, 95% CI 1.312-3.443, P=0.002) are adverse prognostic factors of DLBCL that are independent of IPI. BCL6 - (PFS: HR=2.042, 95% CI 1.021-4.081, P=0.043) , P53 + (OS: HR=3.069, 95% CI 1.244-7.569, P=0.015) and BCL2 S+ (OS: HR=2.433, 95% CI 1.165-5.082, P=0.018; PFS: HR=3.209, 95% CI 1.606-6.410, P=0.001) are adverse prognostic factors in the group of age≤60-year-old; in the group of IPI score 0-2, cases with BCL6 - (OS: HR=2.467, 95% CI 1.322-4.604, P=0.005; PFS: HR=2.248, 95% CI 1.275-3.965, P=0.005) and BCL2 S+ (PFS: HR=2.045, 95% CI 1.119-3.735, P=0.020) have worse prognosis. The co-expression of BCL6 - and BCL2 S+ has significant influence on prognosis of DLBCL ( P=0.005 and P<0.001) , in which BCL6 +/non-BCL2 S+ ( n=86) has the best prognosis[3-year-OS (71.6±4.9) %, 3-year-PFS (67.0±5.1) %], and BCL6 -/BCL2 S+ ( n=10) has the worst prognosis[3-year-OS (20.0±12.6) %, 3-year-PFS (10.0±9.5) %]; the co-expression of BCL6 - and P53 + has no significant influence on prognosis ( P=0.061 and P=0.089) , however, those cases with BCL6 +/P53 - ( n=98) often get better prognosis[3-year-OS (70.6±4.7) %, 3-year-PFS (64.6±4.9) %] than others; the co-expression of P53 + and BCL2 S+ has significant influence on prognosis of DLBCL ( P<0.001 and P<0.001) , and P53 +/BCL2 S+ ( n=5) has the worst prognosis (3-year-OS and 3-year-PFS are both 0) ; BCL2 S+ cases get shorter OS and PFS, regardless of the expression of BCL6 and P53.
