Central nervous system（CNS） disorders are characterized by complex pathological mechanisms and the presence of the blood-brain barrier（BBB）， which significantly limits the effectiveness of drug therapy. Traditional drug delivery modes include oral administration， intravenous injection and transdermal delivery， which have certain advantages， but it is difficult for the drugs to effectively cross the BBB. Therefore， it is crucial to find drug delivery modes that can efficiently traverse the BBB. Nasal drug delivery， as a non-invasive method， can realize the targeted delivery of drugs to the CNS via three pathways， including olfactory neurons， trigeminal neurons and blood circulation， and shows a broad application prospect in the treatment of CNS diseases. Numerous studies have further confirmed that nasal drug delivery combined with novel drug delivery systems such as lipid nanocarriers， nanoparticles， nanoemulsions and composite in situ gels can effectively load the active components of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）， and significantly increase drug concentration in the brain， which provides new strategies for the treatment of CNS diseases. In this paper， the current status of drug delivery for CNS diseases was systematically sorted out， the characteristics of nasal drug delivery were discussed in depth， and the research progress of passive targeting， active targeting， and "guiding the meridian" drug delivery strategies for the nasal-to-brain transport of TCM active components was summarized and analyzed， which was aimed to provide references and insights for the development of drugs for CNS diseases and the application of TCM in nasal-to-brain delivery.

Hypospadias not only impairs the sexual function of infants but also causes major social and psychological problems during their growth period, therefore, the prevention and treatment of hypospadias infant carry substantial public health importance. However, the association between prenatal exposure to air pollution and hypospadias remains controversial. The study reviews the epidemiological research progress and potential biological mechanisms of prenatal maternal exposure to air pollutants such as particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, ozone, sulfur dioxide, and the risk of hypospadias in offspring. The study also summarizes the limitations of previous research and looks forward to future research directions, to provide scientific evidence for creating a healthy living environment for pregnant women, and reducing the risk of hypospadias in offspring.

Congenital heart disease (CHD) is the most common birth defect and one of the major causes of neonatal death, with an average prevalence of 9.4‰ worldwide. We reviewed recent epidemiological studies and found that exposure to air pollutants is associated with increased CHD risks, but the associations are inconsistent between exposure to air pollutants and different subtypes of CHD due to developmental and etiological heterogeneity among different subtypes of CHD. It has been reported that air pollutants are associated with increased risks of ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, pulmonary stenosis, tetralogy of Fallot, and transposition of the great arteries. However, associations between maternal exposure to air pollutants and atrial septal defect (ASD) are contradictory, with significantly positive associations of inhalable particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide exposure, negative associations of fine particulate matter and carbon monoxide, and mixed associations of sulfur dioxide. Adverse effects of air pollutant on cardiac development cover a wide time window beyond 3-8 weeks during gestation; particulate matter and nitrogen oxide are more likely to affect fetal heart in early pregnancy, while the association strength of carbon monoxide shows a trough in early pregnancy, and sulfur dioxide and ozone affect cardiac health throughout pregnancy. In addition, we discussed the limitations of previous studies on the associations between maternal air pollutant exposure and CHD, and highlighted the application of precise assessment on exposure to air pollutants, the performance of prospective cohort studies and longitudinal studies, and the necessity of studies on CHD subtypes, in order to provide scientific evidence to control exposure to environmental pollutants and CHD occurrence.

The evidence is sufficient for carcinogenicity of trivalent antimony in experimental animals, and strong mechanistic evidence has been observed in human primary cells and experinental systems. Thus, trivalent antimony has been classified as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2A) by International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) , and the United States National Toxicology Program (NTP) classified Sb 2O 3 as a human carcinogen. Antimony and its compounds could induce chromosome breakage and/or DNA damage. Oxidative damage of DNA under oxidative stress and inhibition of DNA damage repair may be the main mechanism of antimony carcinogenesis. Objective:To understand the personal dose level of nuclear medical workers in a hospital, and to provide basis for health management of nuclear medicine occupational population.Methods:From January 2014 to December 2018, 147 radiation workers in a hospital were selected as the monitoring objects, and the individual dose monitoring data were analyzed. The correlation between individual dose and clinical workload was analyzed.Results:The average annual personal dose of 147 staff members was below the national dose limit. Compared with the radiation department, the average annual personal dose of nuclear medical staff was higher, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . There was a positive correlation between the annual average personal dose and the corresponding injection workload (Rs=0.69, P<0.05) . Conclusion:The occupational exposure risk of nuclear medical technicians and nurses is high, and reasonable protective measures should be taken to reduce the radiation exposure dose.
