The micronucleomics test can comprehensively display a variety of harmful endpoints, such as DNA damage and repair, chromosome breakage or loss and cell growth inhibition, with fast, simple and economical feature. Micronucleomics is not only widely used in the comprehensive assessment of the types and modes of genetic action of exogenous chemicals (such as drugs, food additives, cosmetics, environmental pollutants, etc.), but also plays an important role in the screening and risk assessment of cancer population at high risk. However, the traditional micronucleomics image counting method has the characteristics of time-consuming, low accuracy, and high cost, which cannot meet the current analysis requirements of large-scale, multi-index, rapidity, high precision and visualization. In recent years, with the rapid development of the era of precision medicine based on big data, visualized analysis of new micronucleomics based on machine learning and detection strategies based on deep learning have shown a good application prospect. This review, based on the application value of micronucleomics, systematically compares the traditional and new artificial intelligence counting of micronucleus images, and discusses the future direction of micronucleus image detection.

2.Efficacy and safety of Shenyankangfu Tablet, a Chinese patent medicine, for primary glomerulonephritis: A multicenter randomized controlled trial.

BACKGROUND:
Shenyankangfu Tablet (SYKFT) is a Chinese patent medicine that has been used widely to decrease proteinuria and the progression of chronic kidney disease.
OBJECTIVE:
This trial compared the efficacy and safety of SYKFT, for the control of proteinuria in primary glomerulonephritis patients, against the standard drug, losartan potassium.
DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTION:
This was a multicenter, double-blind, randomized, controlled clinical trial. Primary glomerulonephritis patients, aged 18-70 years, with blood pressure ≤ 140/90 mmHg, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) ≥ 45 mL/min per 1.73 m
MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:
The primary outcome was change in the 24-hour proteinuria level, after 48 weeks of treatment.
RESULTS:
A total of 735 participants were enrolled. The percent decline of urine protein quantification in the SYKFT group after 48 weeks was 8.78% ± 2.56% (P = 0.006) more than that in the losartan 50 mg group, which was 0.51% ± 2.54% (P = 1.000) less than that in the losartan 100 mg group. Compared with the losartan potassium 50 mg group, the SYKFT plus losartan potassium 50 mg group had a 13.39% ± 2.49% (P < 0.001) greater reduction in urine protein level. Compared with the losartan potassium 100 mg group, the SYKFT plus losartan potassium 100 mg group had a 9.77% ± 2.52% (P = 0.001) greater reduction in urine protein. With a superiority threshold of 15%, neither was statistically significant. eGFR, serum creatinine and serum albumin from the baseline did not change statistically significant. The average change in TCM syndrome score between the patients who took SYKFT (-3.00 [-6.00, -2.00]) and who did not take SYKFT (-2.00 [-5.00, 0]) was statistically significant (P = 0.003). No obvious adverse reactions were observed in any group.
CONCLUSION:
SYKFT decreased the proteinuria and improved the TCM syndrome scores of primary glomerulonephritis patients, with no change in the rate of decrease in the eGFR. SYKFT plus losartan potassium therapy decreased proteinuria more than losartan potassium therapy alone.

3.Effect of Gegen Qinliantang on Structure of Intestinal Flora in Dysbacterial Diarrhea Rats Based on 16S rRNA Sequencing

Objective:To study the effect of Gegen Qinliantang (GQT) on the structure of intestinal flora in dysbacterial diarrhea rats by 16S rRNA sequencing. Method:Sixty healthy SD rats were randomly and equally divided into a control group, a model group, high-, medium-, and low-dose GQT groups, and a Bifidobiogen group. The rat model was induced in the five groups except the control group by administration of mixed antibiotics (178.6 mg·kg-1 cefradine and 31.25 mg·kg-1 gentamicin sulfate) according to the dose. Drug intervention was carried out in each group (7.02, 3.51, and 1.755 g·kg-1 GQT for the high-, medium-, and low-dose GQT groups, 0.125 g·kg-1 bifidobacterium capsules for the Bifidobiogen group, and sterile distilled water for the control and model groups) with a volume of 10 mL·kg-1 for seven days. Colon contents of rats were obtained under anesthesia. The extracted fecal DNA underwent 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing and the results were analyzed. Objective:To seed for stable time window of the integrated disease-syndrome animal model based on the counterevidence from Chinese medicinal prescriptions, and to verify syndrome stability and reliability. Method:A model of depression was established by exposing rats to chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS), followed by body weight measurement, sugar water test, behavioral test, and brain 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) detection. The identification of liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome was conducted after the equivalent transformation of human clinical symptoms into macroscopic representations of rats. Based on the dynamically collected macroscopic representation scale, Xiaoyaosan was used to reversely verify the stability and reliability of the integrated disease-syndrome animal model of depression due to liver depression and spleen deficiency. 5.Comparison of alignment and operative time between portable accelerometer-based navigation device and computer assisted surgery in total knee arthroplasty.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the differences of alignment and operative time between portable accelerometer-based navigation device (PAD) and computer assisted surgery (CAS) in total knee arthroplasty (TKA).
METHODS:
Data of patients using iASSIST (a kind of PAD) and OrthoPilot (a kind of CAS) for TKA in Peking University Third Hospital from December 2017 to December 2019 were retrospectively collected. The differences of preoperative general data, preoperative alignment, operative time and postoperative alignment were studied between the two groups.
RESULTS:
A total of 82 patients were enrolled in our study, including 40 patients in the PAD group and 42 patients in the CAS group. Gender, age, body mass index (BMI), surgical side, preoperative hip-knee-ankle (HKA) angle and preoperative HKA angle deviation didn't show statistically significant difference between the PAD group and the CAS group (P>0.05). Postoperative HKA angle (180.8°±2.2° vs.181.8±1.6°, t=-2.458, P=0.016) and postoperative coronal femoral-component angle (CFA, 90.6°±1.8° vs. 91.6°±1.6°, t =-2.749, P=0.007) of the PAD group were smaller than those of the CAS group, but there was no significant difference in coronal tibia-component angle (CTA, 90.0°±1.3° vs.89.6°±1.4°, t=1.335, P=0.186) between the two groups. There was no significant difference in the rate of outliers (varus or valgus > 3°) for postoperative HKA angle (10.0% vs.11.9%, χ2 =0.076, P=0.783), CFA (12.5% vs. 14.3%, χ2=0.056, P=0.813) and CTA (2.5% vs. 0%, χ2=1.063, P=0.303). There was no significant difference in the accuracy of postoperative HKA angle (2.1° vs. 2.0°, t=0.055, P=0.956), CFA (1.4° vs. 1.8°, t=-1.365, P=0.176) and CTA (1.0° vs. 1.1°, t=-0.828, P=0.410) between the two groups. The precision of postoperative HKA angle (1.1° vs. 1.3°, F=1.251, P=0.267), CFA (1.3° vs. 1.4°, F=0.817, P=0.369) and CTA (0.8° vs. 0.9°, F=0.937, P=0.336) were also not significantly different. We also didn't find statistically significant difference in operative time between the two groups [(83.4±25.6) min vs. (86.5±17.7) min, t=-0.641, P=0.524].
CONCLUSION
PAD and CAS had similar accuracy and precision in alignment in TKA, and there was no significant difference in operative time, which indicates that PAD has a broad application prospect in TKA.

7.A cross-sectional study of anxiety disorders in people aged 18 and over in Chifeng City

Objective:To describe the prevalence of anxiety disorders and distribution in Chifeng City,and explore the related risk factors and health service seeking.Methods:Individuals aged 18 years and over were sampled by stratified,probability-proportional-to-size sampling,randomized cluster sampling in Chifeng City through November,2010 to April,2011.All respondents were interviewed by trained interviewers face-to-face.The Composite International Diagnostic Interview-3.0 Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CIDI-3.0-CAPI) was used to diagnose anxiety disorders according to the criteria and definition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fourth Edition (DSM-Ⅳ).Single and multivariate analysis were applied to explore risk factors of anxiety disorder.Results:Totally 4528 subjects were interviewed with CIDI-3.0-CAPI.The 12-month prevalence rate of anxiety disorders was significantly higher in rural area than in urban area (4.62% vs.2.61%,P <0.01).The rate was significantly higher in female than in male (4.92% vs.2.82%,P <0.01).The rate was significantly higher in the unmarried,the divorced and the widowed than in the married (5.91% vs.3.70%,P <0.01).Logistic regression analysis indicated that dwelling in urban areas and education level of 7-9 years were the protective factors of anxiety disorders,while being female,unmarried,divorced or widowed were the risk factors of anxiety disorders.It was found that only 3.1% of the patients with anxiety disorders reported to seek help from psychiatrists.Conclusion:The anxiety disorder is a common mental disorder in Chifeng City,while few people with anxiety disorders seek mental health professionals.Therefore,it should be paid attentions to anxiety disorder,especially in rural area,women,and low educated people for enhancing mental health service and knowledge popularization.

BACKGROUNDNontraumatic osteonecrosis of the femoral head (NONFH) is a debilitating disease that represents a significant financial burden for both individuals and healthcare systems. Despite its significance, however, its prevalence in the Chinese general population remains unknown. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of NONFH and its associated risk factors in the Chinese population.
METHODSA nationally representative survey of 30,030 respondents was undertaken from June 2012 to August 2013. All participants underwent a questionnaire investigation, physical examination of hip, and bilateral hip joint X-ray and/or magnetic resonance imaging examination. Blood samples were taken after overnight fasting to test serum total cholesterol, triglyceride, and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels. We then used multivariate logistic regression analysis to investigate the associations between various metabolic, demographic, and lifestyle-related variables and NONFH.
RESULTSNONFH was diagnosed in 218 subjects (0.725%) and the estimated NONFH cases were 8.12 million among Chinese people aged 15 years and over. The prevalence of NONFH was significantly higher in males than in females (1.02% vs. 0.51%, χ2 = 24.997, P < 0.001). Among NONFH patients, North residents were subjected to higher prevalence of NONFH than that of South residents (0.85% vs. 0.61%, χ 2 = 5.847, P = 0.016). Our multivariate regression analysis showed that high blood levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and non-HDL-cholesterol, male, urban residence, family history of osteonecrosis of the femoral head, heavy smoking, alcohol abuse and glucocorticoid intake, overweight, and obesity were all significantly associated with an increased risk of NONFH.
CONCLUSIONSOur findings highlight that NONFH is a significant public health challenge in China and underscore the need for policy measures on the national level. Furthermore, NONFH shares a number of risk factors with atherosclerosis.

9.Histological changes of the prostate and acute urinary retention in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the roles of prostatic infarction, prostatic inflammation and the type of prostatic hyperplasia in acute urinary retention (AUR) in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
METHODSWe retrospectively analyzed 102 cases of BPH, 49 complicated by AUR and the other 53 without AUR. We compared the incidences of prostatic infarction and prostatic inflammation, the types of prostatic hyperplasia, the patients' age, the level of prostate specific antigen (PSA), the prostate volume, and international prostate symptom score (IPSS) between the AUR and non-AUR groups.
RESULTSThe PSA level was significantly increased in the AUR group as compared with the non-AUR group (P < 0.05). There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in the mean age, prostate volume and IPSS (P > 0.05). The type of prostatic hyperplasia showed no correlation with AUR. The incidence rate of AUR was 5.620 and 2.326 times higher in the BPH patients with prostatic infarction and prostatic inflammation respectively than in those without (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONProstatic infarction and prostatic inflammation are important risk factors of AUR in BPH patients.

10.Long-term oncologic outcomes of laparoscopic versus open partial nephrectomy.

BACKGROUNDMost of the literatures on laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN) versus open partial nephrectomy (OPN) focus on technical details and early or mid-term oncologic outcomes, reflecting that the approach is safe and provides midterm benefits compared with traditional open surgery. However, the difference of long-term oncologic outcome between LPN and OPN remains unclear. The aim of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the long-term oncologic outcome of LPN in the treatment of localized renal tumors compared with that of OPN.
METHODSA systematic search of electronic databases including Medline, Embase, and Cochrane library was conducted. Comparative studies reporting on long-term oncologic outcome of LPN versus OPN were regarded eligible. The odds ratio (OR) and its corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CI) were calculated for the oncologic outcomes. The methodologic quality of the included studies was evaluated using the strict criteria of the Newcastle-Ottawa scale.
RESULTSSix comparative studies (1495 participants including 555 LPN and 940 OPN) were included in the present study. There was no significant difference between LPN and OPN in 5-year overall survival (OS) rates (OR = 1.83, 95% CI (0.80, 4.19)), 5-year cancer specific survival (CSS) rates (OR = 1.09, 95% CI (0.62, 1.92)), and 5-year recurrence free survival (RFS) rates (OR = 0.68, 95% CI (0.37, 1.26)).
CONCLUSIONThe results of this meta-analysis revealed that there was no significant difference in long-term oncologic outcome between LPN and OPN for treatment of localized renal tumors.
