OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of salidroside (Sal) on myocardial fibrosis and pyroptosis and its potential mechanism. METHODS The mice were randomly divided into control group, model group and Sal low-dose, medium-dose and high-dose groups, with 10 mice in each group. Except for the control group, the mice in other groups were injected subcutaneously with isoproterenol 5 mg/(kg·d)to prepare the myocardial fibrosis model. Since modeling, mice in the Sal low-dose, medium-dose and high-dose groups were given 10, 30 and 50 mg/kg of Sal by intragastric administration every day; control group and model group were given 10 mL/kg of normal saline by intragastric administration every day, for 14 consecutive days. After the last medication, the mice were sacrificed; hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe pathological change of myocardial tissue and calculate the diameter of myocardial cell; Masson and Sirius Red staining were used to observe the degree of myocardial fibrosis in mice and calculate the collagen volume fraction (CVF); quantitative real-time PCR was performed to detect the mRNA expressions of collagen type Ⅰ (Col Ⅰ), α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), NOD-like receptor pyrin domain containing 3 (NLRP3), caspase-1 andgasdermin D (GSDMD) in myocardial tissues. The total protein expressions of Col Ⅰ, α-SMA, TLR4, NLRP3,caspase-1 and GSDMD in myocardial tissues and protein-positive cell score were measured by Western blot assay and immunohistochemistry. RESULTS Compared with control group, the myocardial cells in the model group were enlarged, the arrangement of myocardial fibers was disordered, the matrix metabolism was significantly increased, the CVF in myocardial tissue was significantly increased, and the mRNA and protein expression levels of Col Ⅰ, α-SMA, TLR4, NLRP3, caspase-1 and GSDMD were elevated and protein-positive cell score was increased significantly (P<0.01). Compared with model group, the myocardial cell morphology was clearer, myocardial fibrosis was alleviated, and the levels of the above indicators in myocardial tissue of Sal medium-dose and high-dose groups had been reversed to varying degrees, especially in Sal high-dose group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). In addition, the Sal low-dose group also reversed some fibrosis and pyroptosis-related indicators to some extent. CONCLUSIONS Sal can significantly prevent the occurrence and development of myocardial fibrosis, and the mechanism of action may be related to the inhibition of TLR4-mediated pyroptosis pathway in myocardial tissue.

Objective Comprehensive standards of active implantable medical devices with high risks are required by China's current industrial development, and standard problems and ideas are discussed in this paper. Methods Analysis of the status of China's active implantable medical device standards and international standards. For the booming field for active implantable medical devices with high risks, international standard’s problems, ideas and trends are analyzed. Results Bottleneck of the development of China's active implantable medical device standards is the lack of Chinese medical devices industry actual independent research and development capability. China's independent standard research on the basis of independent core technology of active implantable medical devices is the opportunity to promote the internationalization of China standard. Conclusion Improving the standards of active implantable medical devices based on independent core technology, combined with problems of existing international standards, to further improve and develop international standards and lead high level international technical standards.

Objective The aim of our study was to develop a robust LC-MS/MS method for determination of MN and NMN in blood plasma. Methods A liquid chromatography -tandem mass spectrometric ( LC-MS/MS) method was used, with signal linearity, lower limits of quantitation, precision and accuracy being evaluated. The study recruited 126 healthy volunteers, and MN and NMN in blood plasma were determined. At the same time samples from 21 patients ( 17 pheochromocytoma, 4 ectopic pheochromocytoma) , a hypertension group of 108 persons, and a control group of 84 persons were analyzed. A paired T test was used to compare the MN and NMN levels between the different groups. Results The performance characteristics for the method in terms of linearity, lower limits of quantitation, precision and accuracy were verified.Significant differences were found between the concentration levels of MN and NMN in the diseased and healthy groups. Conclusion A robust and reliable LC-MS/MS method for the determination of MN and NMN in blood plasma has been developed and was shown to be suitable for clinical application.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of multi-slice spiral CTA ( MSCTA ) and image-post processing techniques in diagnosis of acute aortic syndrome ( AAS) .Methods 71 patients with AAS were scanned by TOSHIBA Aquilion 64-slice spiral CT,the images on axial and 2D/3D were analyzed. Results 71 cases included 48 cases of aortic dissection ( AD) ,10 cases of intramural hematoma ( IMH) and 13 cases of penetrating atheroscle-rotic ulcer ( PAU) .MSCT depicted the imaging features of AAS:AD showed intimal flap and true and false lumens;IMH showed crescent or circular thickening of aortic wall .PAU showed a niche filling with contrast medium and pro-truding the aortic lumen ,where narrow neck signwas shown .The location ,radiological diagnosis and complications of AAS were observed in 71 patients.Intervention treatment or surgical treatment was conducted in 27 cases after defi-nite diagnosis .Conclusion MSCT is a fast and noninvasive examination technique , and it can provide important information for the diagnosis and treatment of AAS .

Objective To explore the nursing problems and application value of intrauterine instruments positioning in assistance of tubal interventional treatment. Methods Uterine probe or expanding-uterus stick was used in 66 cases who had abortde with routine methods for rectifying the position of uterus or adhesion re-lease, then the selected catheter was inserted to the targeted fallopian tube for interventional aim. Nurses paid at-tention to the nursing cooperation and summarized the nursing points during the whole processes. Results With this technique, the achievement ratio of selected insertion to fallopian tube was 100% and that of recanaliza-tion was 92.68%. The major adverse effects were hypogastralgia and little vaginal bleeding. Pneumogastric nervereactions were found in 3.03% cases. Conchusions The assistant-immanent could elevate the achievement ra-tio of selected insertion to the targeted fallopian tubes, but the nursing problems shouldn't be neglected.
