		                        			Traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome (TSOFS) is a symptom complex caused by nerve entrapment in the supraorbital fissure after skull base trauma. If the compressed cranial nerve in the supraorbital fissure is not decompressed surgically, ptosis, diplopia and eye movement disorder may exist for a long time and seriously affect the patients′ quality of life. Since its overall incidence is not high, it is not familiarized with the majority of neurosurgeons and some TSOFS may be complicated with skull base vascular injury. If the supraorbital fissure surgery is performed without treatment of vascular injury, it may cause massive hemorrhage, and disability and even life-threatening in severe cases. At present, there is no consensus or guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS that can be referred to both domestically and internationally. To improve the understanding of TSOFS among clinical physicians and establish standardized diagnosis and treatment plans, the Skull Base Trauma Group of the Neurorepair Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Traumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Editorial Committee of Chinese Journal of Trauma organized relevant experts to formulate Chinese expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome ( version 2024) based on evidence of evidence-based medicine and clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment. This consensus puts forward 12 recommendations on the diagnosis, classification, treatment, efficacy evaluation and follow-up of TSOFS, aiming to provide references for neurosurgeons from hospitals of all levels to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS.

		                        			Patients with severe trauma require an extremely timely treatment and transfusion plays an irreplaceable role in the emergency treatment of such patients. An increasing number of evidence-based medicinal evidences and clinical practices suggest that patients with severe traumatic bleeding benefit from early transfusion of low-titer group O whole blood or hemostatic resuscitation with red blood cells, plasma and platelet of a balanced ratio. However, the current domestic mode of blood supply cannot fully meet the requirements of timely and effective blood transfusion for emergency treatment of patients with severe trauma in clinical practice. In order to solve the key problems in blood supply and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma, Branch of Clinical Transfusion Medicine of Chinese Medical Association, Group for Trauma Emergency Care and Multiple Injuries of Trauma Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Young Scholar Group of Disaster Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association organized domestic experts of blood transfusion medicine and trauma treatment to jointly formulate Chinese expert consensus on blood support mode and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma patients ( version 2024). Based on the evidence-based medical evidence and Delphi method of expert consultation and voting, 10 recommendations were put forward from two aspects of blood support mode and transfusion strategies, aiming to provide a reference for transfusion resuscitation in the emergency treatment of severe trauma and further improve the success rate of treatment of patients with severe trauma.

		                        			Objective: To understand the current status of diagnosis and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) /small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) among hematologists, oncologists, and lymphoma physicians from hospitals of different levels in China. Methods: This multicenter questionnaire survey was conducted from March 2021 to July 2021 and included 1,000 eligible physicians. A combination of face-to-face interviews and online questionnaire surveys was used. A standardized questionnaire regarding the composition of patients treated for CLL/SLL, disease diagnosis and prognosis evaluation, concomitant diseases, organ function evaluation, treatment selection, and Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor was used. Results: ①The interviewed physicians stated that the proportion of male patients treated for CLL/SLL is higher than that of females, and the age is mainly concentrated in 61-70 years old. ②Most of the interviewed physicians conducted tests, such as bone marrow biopsies and immunohistochemistry, for patient diagnosis, in addition to the blood test. ③Only 13.7% of the interviewed physicians fully grasped the initial treatment indications recommended by the existing guidelines. ④In terms of cognition of high-risk prognostic factors, physicians' knowledge of unmutated immunoglobulin heavy-chain variable and 11q- is far inferior to that of TP53 mutation and complex karyotype, which are two high-risk prognostic factors, and only 17.1% of the interviewed physicians fully mastered CLL International Prognostic Index scoring system. ⑤Among the first-line treatment strategy, BTK inhibitors are used for different types of patients, and physicians have formed a certain understanding that BTK inhibitors should be preferentially used in patients with high-risk factors and elderly patients, but the actual use of BTK inhibitors in different types of patients is not high (31.6%-46.0%). ⑥BTK inhibitors at a reduced dose in actual clinical treatment were used by 69.0% of the physicians, and 66.8% of the physicians had interrupted the BTK inhibitor for >12 days in actual clinical treatment. The use of BTK inhibitors is reduced or interrupted mainly because of adverse reactions, such as atrial fibrillation, severe bone marrow suppression, hemorrhage, and pulmonary infection, as well as patients' payment capacity and effective disease progression control. ⑦Some differences were found in the perceptions and behaviors of hematologists and oncologists regarding the prognostic assessment of CLL/SLL, the choice of treatment options, the clinical use of BTK inhibitors, etc. Conclusion: At present, a gap remains between the diagnosis and treatment of CLL/SLL among Chinese physicians compared with the recommendations in the guidelines regarding the diagnostic criteria, treatment indications, prognosis assessment, accompanying disease assessment, treatment strategy selection, and rational BTK inhibitor use, especially the proportion of dose reduction or BTK inhibitor discontinuation due to high adverse events.

4.Guanxin Danshen Dripping Pills Improve Quality of Life and Cardiovascular Prognoses of CHD Patients after PCI with Anxiety or Depression (GLAD Study): A Randomized Double-Blind Placebo-Controlled Study.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
		                        			To assess the efficacy and safety of Guanxin Danshen Dripping Pills (GXDS) in the treatment of depression or anxiety in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			From September 2017 to June 2019, 200 CHD patients after PCI with depression and anxiety were included and randomly divided into GXDS (100 cases) and placebo control groups (100 cases) by block randomization and a random number table. Patients in the GXDS and control groups were given GXDS and placebo, respectively, 0.4 g each time, 3 times daily for 12 weeks. The primary outcomes were scores of Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Scale (GAD-7) and the Seattle Angina Pectoris Scale (SAQ). The secondary outcomes included 12 Health Survey Summary Form (SF-12) scores and the first onset time and incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs). Other indices including blood pressure, blood lipids, microcirculation and inflammatory-related indices, etc. were monitored at baseline, week 4, and week 12.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			In the full analysis set (200 cases), after treatment, the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores in the GXDS group were considerably lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Compared with the baseline, the total PHQ-9 scores of the experimental and control groups decreased by 3.97 and 1.18, respectively. The corrected mean difference between the two groups was -2.78 (95% CI: -3.47, -2.10; P<0.001). The total GAD-7 score in the GXDS group decreased by 3.48% compared with the baseline level, while that of the placebo group decreased by 1.13%. The corrected mean difference between the two groups was -2.35 (95% CI: -2.95, -1.76; P<0.001). The degree of improvement in SAQ score, SF-12 score, endothelin and high-sensitive C-reactive protein levels in the GXDS group were substantially superior than those in the placebo group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Similar results were obtained in the per protocol population analysis of 177 patients. Three cases of MACES were reported in this study (1 in the GXDS group and 2 in the placebo group), and no serious adverse events occurred.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSIONS

5.Design and practice of general population cohort study in northeastern China

		                        			In 2016, a national one million general population cohort project was set up in China for the first time in "Precision Medicine Research" Key Project, National Key Research and Development Program of China, which consists of general population cohorts in seven areas in China. As one of the seven major areas in China, northeastern China has unique climate and specific dietary patterns, and population aging is serious in this area. And the burden of chronic and non-communicable diseases ranks tops in China. Therefore, it is of great significance to establish a large general population cohort in northeastern China to explore the area specific exposure factors related to pathogenesis and prognosis of chronic and non-communicable diseases, develop new prevention strategies to reduce the burden of the diseases and improve the population health in northeastern China. In July 2018, the general population cohort study in northeastern China was launched, the study includes questionnaire survey, health examination and blood, urine and stool sample collection and detection in recruited participants. By now, the cohort has covered all age groups, and the baseline data of 115 414 persons have been collected. 6.Molecular Mechanism of Jingfang Mixture Against H1N1 Influenza Based on Network Pharmacology and Experimental Verification

		                        			ObjectiveTo predict the potential targets and mechanism of Jingfang mixture in the treatment of H1N1 influenza and provide references for clinical application of Jingfang mixture. MethodThe active components and targets of Jingfang mixture against H1N1 influenza were screened out by Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP),SwissTargetPrediction, and TargetNet. The targets of H1N1 influenza were obtained from GeneCards,Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM), and DisGeNET and standardized by UniProt KB. The intersection targets were obtained by Venny 2.1.0. The "drug-component-target" network was constructed with Cytoscape 3.2.1 and analyzed for the topological attributes. The intersection targets were uploaded to STRING 11.5 to obtain the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis were carried out by Metascape. Finally,the top active components ranked by degree were docked to the core targets by Autodock vina and visually analyzed by PyMOL. Balb/c female rats were used for experimental verification. Hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining was used to observe the pathological changes in lung tissues. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to detect the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10), and interleukin-17(IL-17). Real-time fluorescence-based quantitative polymerase chain reaction(Real-time PCR) and Western blot were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression levels in lung tissues. ResultThere were 144 active components in Jingfang mixture. A total of 421 target genes of Jingfang mixture and 2 956 targets of H1N1 influenza were identified,including 199 common targets. Topological analysis showed that the core components of Jingfang mixture against H1N1 influenza included quercetin,luteolin, and kaempferol,and the core targets included prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase 2(PTGS2),estrogen receptor alpha(ESR1),inducible nitric oxide synthase 2(iNOS2),peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ),and cyclooxygenase-1(PTGS1). GO enrichment yielded 697 items in biological process (BP) (P<0.01), 59 items in molecular function (MF)(P<0.01), and 21 items in cellular component (CC) (P<0.01). A total of 132 signaling pathways (P<0.01) were obtained by KEGG enrichment analysis, including phosphatidylinositol 3-kinases(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt) signaling pathway and mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) signaling pathway,most of which were related to the regulation of immune inflammation. Molecular docking showed that the binding energy of the active components of Jingfang mixture to the core targets was less than -5.0 kcal·mol-1,indicating good binding activity. HE staining showed that the lung tissues were significantly improved after drug intervention,and Real-time PCR and Western blot showed that Jingfang mixture could reduce the mRNA and protein expression of PI3K and Akt in lung tissues. ConclusionJingfang mixture can play an anti-viral effect against the influenza A virus through multiple components,multiple targets, and multiple pathways. The active components quercetin,luteolin, and kaempferol may control the inflammation and regulate immunity on the PI3K/Akt,MAPK, and other signaling pathways by acting on targets such as PTGS2,ESR1,iNOS2,PPARγ, and PTGS1. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7.Forensic Analysis of Sudden Death Associated with Sexual Activity.

		                        			OBJECTIVES:
		                        			To analyze the characteristics of sudden death associated with sexual activity to provide recommendations for forensic identification.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			A retrospective analysis was conducted on autopsy cases accepted by Forensic Identification Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2018, and a total of 15 cases of sudden death associated with sexual activity were screened out. The general information, case data and pathological changes of 15 cases were collected to find the relationship between sexual activity and sudden death.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			The ratio of male to female was 1.5∶1. The average age of males was 50.1 years and that of females was 35.0 years. Coronary artery diseases and brain diseases accounted for most of the cases (12/15). Sexual partners were associated with locations of deaths and body dumping behaviors.
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSIONS
		                        			Sudden death associated with sexual activity, although rare, may occur in people over 30 years old with pre-existing heart or brain diseases, which should be paid attention to in forensic practice.

8.Intervention effects of hot spring bathing on blood pressure, resting heart rate, cardiovascular function indicators and physical signs in population with high-normal blood pressure

		                        			Objective To investigate the effects of hot spring baths on blood pressure, resting heart rate, cardiovascular function related indicators and physical signs in population with high-normal blood pressure. Methods Residents of typical hot spring areas in Guizhou Province were included as the subjects. According to the epidemiological survey of the research group and the physical examination results before the intervention, combined with the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 217 people with high normal blood pressure were selected as the observation subjects. The intervention of hot spring baths was carried out for four weeks, once time per day, 5 times per week, for 40-50 minutes each time. 		                        			Objective To study the relieving effects of hot spring bath therapy on sleep quality for people with sleep disorders based on data from health bracelets. Methods After health examinations, 311 people with sleep disorders who participated in the bath therapy in five typical hot spring areas in Guizhou Province were selected as the subjects. A four-week hot spring bath therapy was implemented, and the bathing method and the classification of hot springs were the same as the"Overview of study of the physiotherapy efficacy of typical hot springs in Guizhou Province". The daily sleep time at night(minutes), deep sleep ratio(%), light sleep ratio(%)and rapid eye movement ratio(%)for all subjects were collected using the Huawei Honor Band 3 health bracelets. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used to compare the differences in sleep quality indicators of each group at night each week. The effect of three different hot spring bath therapies on the improvement of night sleep quality was evaluated by factor analysis. Results Hot spring bath therapy can increase night sleep time and deep sleep ratio, while reducing light sleep ratio. 10.Effects of intervention of hot spring bathing on antioxidation functions in population

		                        			Objective To understand the influence of hot spring bathing intervention on population's antioxidation functions. Methods Three typical types of hot spring(metasilicic acid type, warm mineral type and temperature type)in Guizhou Province were selected for investigation. According to the inclusion-exclusion criteria, questionnaires and physical examinations results, 421 individuals were selected as observation subjects for hot spring bathing intervention, of which 311 subjects completed 40 to 50 minutes of intervention once a day, 5 days a week, and for 4 weeks. Two physical examinations before and after the intervention were conducted for the 311 subjects. The fasting venous blood samples on the mornings of two physical examinations were collected and the serum was separated. Levels of serum oxidative stress-related parameters including total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD), copper zinc superoxide dismutase(Cu-Zn SOD), glutathione sulfur transferases(GSTs)glutathione peroxidase(GSH-px), sulfhydryl(-SH)and malondialdehyde(MDA)were measured by enzymatical methods. Results The overall comparison showed that compared with before the bathing intervention, the levels of antioxidant enzymes including T-SOD, Cu-Zn SOD, GSTs and GSH-px significantly increased in serum after the intervention(all
