Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics of patients with epithelioid glioblastoma (ep-GBM) and their influencing factors for survival. Methods:Sixteen ep-GBM patients admitted to Department of Neurosurgery, First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August 2015 to March 2022 were chosen. Clinical data such as age, gender, maximum tumor diameter, degrees of tumor resection, treatments, and immunohistochemical staining-related indexes were obtained. Survival curves of the patients were plotted by Kaplan-Meier method, and differences of progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) among patients with different clinical characteristics were compared. Log-rank test was used to compare the survival rates, and Cox proportional risk regression model was constructed to analyze the influencing factors for PFS and OS.Results:In these 16 patients, median OS was 11.8 months and median PFS was 7.0 months. Significant differences in PFS and OS were noted between groups of age<32 years and age≥32 years, between groups of maximum tumor diameter<4.8 cm and diameter≥4.8 cm, and between groups of positive p53 expression and negative p53 expression ( P<0.05). Log-rank test indicated that OS and PFS ratios were significantly different between groups of age<32 years and age≥32 years, between groups of maximum tumor diameter<4.8 cm and diameter≥4.8 cm, between S100 positive group and S100 negative group, between Olig-2 positive group and Olig-2 negative group, and between groups of positive p53 expression and negative p53 expression ( P<0.05). Cox proportional hazard regression model showed that age ( HR=1.070, 95% CI: 1.013-1.134, P=0.016), preoperative maximum tumor diameter ( HR=2.150, 95% CI: 1.142-4.055, P=0.018) and Olig-2 expression ( HR=0.040, 95% CI: 0.003-0.498, P=0.013) had influences in PFS; preoperative maximum tumor diameter ( HR=2.350, 95%CI: 1.149-4.798, P=0.019) and Olig-2 expression ( HR=0.080, 95% CI: 0.007-0.972, P=0.047) had influences in OS. Conclusion:Older ep-GBM patients are prone to progress after surgery; ep-GBM patients with larger tumor diameter and negative Olig-2 expression likely progress and have poor prognosis after surgery.

Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2022;38(6):371-375
Aortic aneurysm (AA) is a vascular disease involving the progressive dilation of aorta diameter. It is usually asymptomatic but with high mortality once rupture. Currently, there is no effective pharmacologic treatment. MicroRNA specifically refers to non-coding small RNAs consisting of 19-25 nucleotides. The characteristic of microRNA targeting multiple genes seems to form a complicated regulation network, which receives considerable attention. Emerging studies show that microRNAs are closely related to the occurrence and development of AA. Many microRNAs are involved in multiple cell processes and functions and may participate in the pathogenesis of AA, including endothelial cell dysfunction, inflammatory cell infiltration, smooth muscle cell apoptosis, and extracellular matrix degradation. This article will describe the animal models for AA research and the latest progression of microRNA and AA.

Objective:To analyze the relationship between physical appearance perfectionism, negative body self, fear of negative evaluation and social appearance anxiety in female patients with psoriasis. Methods:A total of 251 female patients with psoriasis in Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Medical College of Shanghai Jiaotong University from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the subjects. Physical Appearance Perfectionism Scale (PPAS), Social Appearance Anxiety Scale (SAAS), Brief Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale (BFNES) and Negetive Physical Self Scale (Npss) were used in the survey. The correlation of negative body self and negative evaluation fear between the appearance perfectionism and social appearance anxiety of female psoriasis patients was analyzed. Results:The score of physical appearance perfectionism was 49.42±5.32, the score of social appearance anxiety was 58.72±6.24, the score of fear of negative evaluation was 30.59±7.21 and the score of negative physical self was 29.21±6.24. Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation among physical appearance perfectionism, social appearance anxiety, fear of negative evaluation and negative physical self ( r value was 0.402-0.488, P<0.01). The mediating effect of negative physical self between physical appearance perfectionism and social appearance anxiety was 0.164 (95% CI 0.082-0.227), the mediating effect of negative body self between physical appearance perfectionism and social appearance anxiety was 0.152 (95% CI 0.079-0.214) and the chain mediating effect of fear of negative evaluation and negative physical self was 0.067 (95% CI 0.025-0.108). Conclusions:Female patients with psoriasis have a high level of physical appearance perfectionism, which can directly affect their social anxiety, while fear of negative evaluation and negative physical self indirectly affect the correlation between appearance perfectionism and social appearance anxiety. Psychological intervention measures should be taken to reduce their psychological burden on their own appearance defects and carry out social anxiety and fear.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2019;25(9):1139-1144
Objective? To evaluate the effects of different forms of self-management education on glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in diabetic patients. Methods? The related clinical randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were retrieved in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP, WanFang data and Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM) (key words:diabetes/ self-management/ health education/behavior/ psychology) and in Embase, PubMed, Cochrane (key words:of intervention/ knowledge/ behavior/psychological/ diabetes/ DSME) from building the database to June 2018 as well as in related journals by hand. Then, we evaluated the quality of literature and carried out data analysis with the RevMan5.0. Results? Finally, a total of 16 literatures (evaluating the effects of self-management education in diabetic patients with the outcome indexes of HbA1c) were included with 9 of them in the subgroup of behavior intervention, 4 in the subgroup of elementary knowledge cognitive intervention and 3 in the subgroup of mental intervention. Besides, 3 literatures with the level A and 13 with the level B. Meta-analysis showed that the HbA1c of the subgroup of behavior intervention was with WMD=-0.78, 95%CI (-1.14, -0.41)(P< 0.05), HbA1c of the subgroup of elementary knowledge cognitive intervention was with WMD=-0.55, 95%CI (-1.06, -0.04)(P< 0.05) and HbA1c of the subgroup of mental intervention was with WMD=-0.55, 95%CI (-1.24, 0.15)(P> 0.05). Conclusions? Behavior intervention and elementary knowledge cognitive intervention all have positive effects on HbA1c of diabetic patients. However, whether mental intervention has effects on patients' HbA1c has not gotten a final conclusion. We should implement comprehensive self-management education for diabetic patients from many aspects including behavior, cognition and psychology to achieve an ideal effect.
