Objective To perform on-site calibration of high-pressure ionization chambers and NaI(Tl) γ spectrometers in state-controlled atmospheric radiation environment automatic continuous monitoring stations and verify the reliability of the online radiation environment monitoring system. Methods 137Cs, 60Co, and 241Am were used as γ reference radiation sources to measure the metrological performance of high-pressure ionization chambers in nine state-controlled atmospheric radiation environment automatic monitoring stations in Hubei Province, China. The performance metrics included background radiation, response, and repeatability. Additionally, the correlation between dose rate and humidity was analyzed, and the energy resolution and activity response of NaI(Tl) γ spectrometers were measured. Results Among the nine state-controlled atmospheric radiation environment automatic monitoring stations, the background radiation of high-pressure ionization chambers ranged from 58.2 nGy/h to 82.6 nGy/h. The response of the high-pressure ionization chambers ranged from 0.94 to 1.08, fulfilling the requirement of 1.0 ± 0.2. The repeatability of high-pressure ionization chambers ranged from 0.43% to 3.80%, satisfying the requirement of not exceeding 10%. A significant correlation was observed between dose rate and humidity, with a correlation coefficient of 0.4476. For NaI(Tl) γ spectrometers, the energy resolution ranged from 6.8% to 7.9%, fulfilling the requirement of not exceeding 9% for the 661.7 keV energy peak of 137Cs. The NaI(Tl) γ spectrometers showed 1.4% to 1.8% s−1·Bq−1 activity response to 241Am and 6.6‰ to 8.4‰ s−1·Bq−1 activity response to 60Co. Conclusion The online monitoring systems in the nine state-controlled atmospheric radiation environment automatic monitoring stations are stable and reliable, providing accurate radiation environment monitoring data for public awareness.

Objective To apply the improved DeepLabV3+based image semantic segmentation algorithm to the ultrasound image processing for hepatic cystic echinococcosis, thereby achieving automatic segmentation and detection of hepatic echinococcosis lesions, and improving clinical diagnostic efficiency. Methods DeepLabV3+based image semantic segmentation network was employed as the basic method, and the following improvements were made.To address the issues of high computational complexity, high memory consumption, difficulty in deploying on embedded platforms with limited computing power, and difficulty in fully utilizing multi-scale information when extracting image feature information, the original backbone network Xception of the model was replaced with MobileNetV2 for obtaining a lightweight model framework.Additionally, efficient channel attention was applied to underlying features for reducing computational complexity and improving the clarity of target boundaries;and finally,Dice Loss was introduced into the model to alleviate the problem of the model focusing more on the background area and ignoring the foreground area containing the target. Results Validation was conducted on 5 lesion types in the self-built VOC2007 dataset of hepatic cystic echinococcosis.Experimental results showed that the improved model achieved a mean intersection over union of 73.8 and a mean pixel accuracy of 83.5,indicating that the model can predict more precise semantic segmentation results and effectively optimize model complexity and segmentation accuracy.

Objective:To investigate the application of three-dimensional digital technique in customized ear framework fabrication for auricular reconstruction. Methods:From July 2018 to October 2019, the patients with microtia who underwent ear reconstruction in the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University were enrolled. Each patient with unilateral microtia underwent auricular CT scan and preoperative analysis and ear framework design were carried out with Mimics software 18.0. The two-dimension(2D) ear films and three-dimension(3D) silicon models were produced by 1∶1 2D printing and 3D printing, respectively. Microtia reconstruction was performed according to the guide of the models, patients were followed up over a six-month period to evaluate the size, outline, height and auriculocephalic angle of the reconstructed ear. The satisfactory outcomes of the patients were scored according to a 5-point Likert scale. Results:A total of 15 patients were included in this study, including 11 males and 4 females, aged 8-27 years, with an average of 15.5 years old. All the 15 patients completed the surgical planning and ear reconstruction successfully, without major complications, such as hematomas, inflammation, skin necrosis and framework exposure. The costal cartilage frameworks were very similar to the printed 3D models in size and contour. Comparison between the two sides was made at six months postoperatively. The reconstructed ear was much the same as that of contralateral side, and all patients were satisfied with their reconstructed ear outcomes with average score of 4.4.Conclusions:With the application of digital technique for pre-surgical planning in microtia reconstruction patients, ear templates were produced from 2D to 3D, and the correction of microtia was changed from standard auricular reconstruction to personalized auricular reconstruction, with a great improvement of the precision in ear framework fabrication.

OBJECTIVE:To study the skin irritation and se nsitization of domestic generic drug Clobetasone butyrate cream , and to compare it with commercial drug (original drugs ). METHODS :The skin irritation test was conducted on rabbits. Totally 24 rabbits were randomly divided into test preparation intact skin group ,test preparation abraded skin group ,commercial drug intact skin group and commercial drug abraded skin group ,with 6 rabbits in each group. 0.5 mL test preparation or commercial drug was administered to the left side of intact or abraded skin and the same amount of excipient on the right side of each rabbit twice a day for consecutive 7 days. The irritation of the drug to the rabbit skin was observed ,and the erythema and edema of the skin were scored;the skin of administration site was taken at 72 h after last administration and the end of 7 d after drug withdrawal for histopathological examination. The skin sensitization test (Buehler test )was carried out on guinea pigs. Totally 60 guinea pigs were randomly divided into test preparation group (n=20),commercial drug group (n=20),positive control group (n=10)and excipient control group (n=10). 0.2 mL test preparation or commercial drug was administrated to the left side of the rib abdomen skin of each guinea pig at the 0,7th,14th day to induce model ,and an equal amount of corresponding preparation was administered to the right side in the same way at the 28th day for stimulation. Hypersensitive response such as erythema and edema were observed and scored at 24 h and 48 h after the stimulation. The incidence of hypersensitive response was then calculated. RESULTS:In skin irritation test of rabbits ,no erythema and edema was caused by the test preparation or commercial drug on intact skin of rabbits ;scores of skin irritation was 0;there was no dermal irritation. Both test preparation and commercial drug caused transient slight erythema on abraded skin of a few rabbits ;scores of intact and abraded skin irritation were 0-0.33;there was no dermal irritation. There was no statistical significance among groups. No dermal pathological changes were observed. In skin sensitization test of guinea pig ,no hypersensitive response such as erythema and edema was found on the skin of guinea pigs in both test preparation and commercial drug groups ;both score and the incidence of hypersensitive response were 0. Compared with excipient control group ,there was no statistical significance of average score and the incidence of hypersensitive response in test preparation group and commercial drug group. CONCLU- SIONS:In skin irritation test of rabbits and skin sensitization test of guinea pigs , the evaluation results of generic Clobetasone butyrate cream are the same as those of the original drug. It has no irritation to the skin of rabbit ,and no sensitization to the skin of guinea pigs.

Objective:To investigate the colonscopy screening interval among patients with negative colonscopy. Methods:We selected 14 606 participants who completed the baseline and 3-year or 5-year colonoscopy examinations in the American Prostate, Lung, Colorectal, and Ovarian (PLCO) dataset as the target population. Sociodemographic characteristics (i.e., sex, age, marital status, race, and smoking), lifestyle, family history of cancer, and family history of colorectal cancer were collected. Cochran-Armitage trend analysis was used to examine whether the rate of positive cases (colorectal cancer, advanced adenoma, adenoma, and hyperplastic polyp) was increased with the length of screening interval. We compared the differences in number of detected cases, positive rates, and proportions of 3-year and 5-year screening interval strategies using internal standardization method. Results:The age of the population was (61.9±5.2) years and over half of them were males (54.4%) and 46.2% had family cancer history. The mean screening interval between the first and second endoscopies was (1 639.1±320.9) days. A total of 1 716 cases had positive endoscopic findings. With the screening interval extended, rate of the screened positive cases was also increased ( P for trend<0.001). After standardized by the internal standardized population (14 606), 17.99 and 11.57 colorectal cancer cases and 177.37 and 240.35 advanced adenoma cases were detected by 3-year and 5-year screening interval strategies, respectively. Conclusion:Based on the initial screening negative population of colonoscopy in the United States, the 3-year screening interval strategy could detect a relatively large number of colorectal cancer cases, but its health and economic evaluation needs to be further explored.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(10):1464-1466
Objective:
To examine sleep characteristics of preschool children who were born preterm, which could provide a reference for the future intervention in the risk population.
Methods:
This retrospective cohort study was conducted from March 2017 to November 2018 in hospitals in cities of Guangzhou, Zhongshan, and Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, we recruited 202 preschool children aged 4-6 years, including 40 early-and moderate preterm (gestational age <34 weeks), 56 late preterm (34-36 weeks) , and 106 full-term preschool children (≥37 weeks). Caregivers reported children’s sleep time and habits using Chinese version of Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ).
Results:
Compared to the full-term group, the very-or-moderate-preterm group had shorter nighttime sleep duration (9.07±0.75 vs 9.33±0.59 h; adjusted β=-0.33), shorter total sleep duration (10.39±0.86 vs 11.05±1.32 h; adjusted β=-0.70), higher sleep duration score of CSHQ (4.60 ± 1.57 vs 3.97 ± 1.25 points; adjusted β=0.58), and higher sleepdisordered breathing score of CHSQ (3.78±1.27 vs 3.41±0.71 points; adjusted β=0.49). The late preterm group had lower parasomnias score of CSHQ (8.40±1.65 vs 8.75±1.72 points; adjusted β=-0.57), than the full-term group(P<0.05). When gestational age was analyzed as a continuous variable, it was positively associated with the total sleep duration (adjusted β= 0.06), while was inversely associated with sleep-disordered breathing scores of CSHQ (adjusted β=-0.06).
Conclusion
Very-or-moderate preterm children have shorter sleep duration and more sleep disordered breathing problems than full-term children, and have more disorders of sleeping duration and sleeping breathing than full-term children, while the late preterm children have less sleeping disorders than full-term children. The children of lower gestational age can have shorter sleep duration and more sleep-disordered breathing which should be addressed in future intervention.

Objective To investigate the effects of Qibai Pingfei Capsules(QPC) on the expression of monoamine neurotransmitters of 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor(5-HT) and dopamine(DA) receptors of DA1 and DA5 in the rats with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) accompanied with depression, and to explore the possible therapeutic mechanism. Methods Ninety male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups, namely normal group, COPD depression group, QPC group, Venlafaxine group, and QPC plus Venlafaxine group. The rat model of COPD accompanied with depression was established by compound methods of smoking, food deprivation, water deprivation, forced swimming, shaking, and clipping tail. And then the effects of QPC on the lung function and the general characteristics were observed. Furthermore, the mRNA level of 5-HT1AR was determined by real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR(RT-qPCR), and protein levels of DA-1 and DA-5 in rat hippocampus were assayed by Western blot analysis. Results Compared with the normal group, forced expiratory volume in 0.3 second(FEV0.3), the forced volume capacity(FVC) and FEV0.3/ FVC in the COPD depression group were significantly reduced (P < 0.01). Compared with the COPD depression group, the values mentioned above were restored to different extents in the groups of QPC, Venlafaxine, and QPC plus Venlafaxine(P<0.01). Compared with the normal group, the expression levels of 5-HT1AR mRNA, and DA-1 and DA-5 protein in the COPD depression group were significantly down-regulated, and their levels were also slightly decreased in the treatment groups(P<0.05). Compared with the COPD depression group, the expression levels were up-regulated to various degrees in all of the treatment groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion QPC can increase the mRNA levels of 5-HT1AR and protein levels of DA-1 and DA-5 in the hippocampus of COPD with depression.
