1.Construction of an evaluation index system for community visual health services in Shanghai

		                        			ObjectiveTo improve the quality and service performance of community visual health services in Shanghai, and to establish a set of reasonable and effective evaluation index system for community visual health services. MethodsCentered on the national and Shanghai-based visual health policies and based on the current status and development trends of community visual health service program in Shanghai, the candidate indicators were formed through literature review and expert interviews, firstly. The framework of an evaluation index system was formulated through qualitative research successively, which was further revised and perfected using the Delphi method. Coefficient weights were calculated using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), culminating in the establishment of the community visual health evaluation index system, lastly. ResultsA total of 22 visual health experts from district-level center for disease control, hospital ophthalmology and leaders in charging of visual health service in community health centers participated in the Delphi questionnaire survey, with a questionnaire recovery rate of 100% and an expert authority coefficient of 0.86, indicating high credibility. After a round of correspondence to experts’ importance ratings and discussions, a comprehensive evaluation index system comprising 3 primary indicators, 12 secondary indicators, and 47 tertiary indicators, along with 5 additional indicators, was finalized. ConclusionAn index system tailored to effective evaluation for community visual health initiatives was drawn up in this study, which can promote the capacity building in community eye health services, facilitating the high-quality development of visual health courses, and enhancing residents’ eye health. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.Relationship between processed food consumption and blood pressure of students in a university in Yunnan Province

		                        			Objective:
		                        			To explore the relationship between processed food consumption and blood pressure level of students in a university in Yunnan Province, so as to provide the reference for preventing hypertension in university students.
		                        		
		                        			Methods:
		                        			In October 2021, a cluster sampling method was used to select 4 781 freshmen from a university in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The frequency of processed food consumption of university students was assessed by using the dietary frequency questionnaire, and height, weight and blood pressure were measured. Mann-Whitney test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to compare the differences in blood pressure level of university students with different demographic variables, and the association between processed food consumption and blood pressure level was analyzed with a generalized linear model.
		                        		
		                        			Results:
		                        			Among the students of a university in Yunnan Province, the detection rates of systolic prehypertension and hypertension were 33.86% and 1.23%, and the detection rates of diastolic prehypertension were 32.13% and hypertension 7.22%. The results of generalized linear model analysis showed that after controlling for demographic variables and other variables that might affect the blood pressure level of university students, the consumption of processed food (bread and cake: β =0.15, 95% CI =0.01-0.29) and ultra processed food (coffee beverage: β =-0.29, 95% CI =-0.54--0.03) were associated with systolic blood pressure level( P <0.05). The consumption of processed food (salted duck egg: β =0.21, 95% CI =0.01-0.41) was correlated with the diastolic blood pressure of college students ( P <0.05).
		                        		
		                        			Conclusions
		                        			Processed food consumption in university students may increase the risk of high blood pressure.The education of healthy eating among college students should be strengthened to reduce the consumption of processed foods.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Assessment of different bone marrow infiltration patterns with MR whole-body diffusion weighted imaging in multiple myeloma

		                        			Objective To evaluate the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)values of different bone marrow infiltration patterns in multiple myeloma(MM)patients with MR whole-body diffusion weighted imaging(WB-DWI)and to determine the ADC thresholds for different bone marrow infiltration patterns.Methods Nineteen MM patients diagnosed for the first time were selected.The lesions types of each site(cervical spine,ribs,sternum,humerus,scapula,sacral spine,ilium,femur,thoracic spine,and lumbar spine)after the WB-DWI images were visually evaluated,which were divided into focal group(including focal lesion in combined focal and diffuse infiltration)[region of interest(ROI)=141],pure diffuse infiltration group(ROI=150),diffuse lesion in combined focal and diffuse infiltration group(ROI=127),"salt-and-pepper"group(ROI=54),and normal appearance group(ROI=68).ADC values were measured and compared between each group and the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to distinguish different patterns of bone marrow infiltration.Results There was no statistically significant difference in ADC values between the diffuse lesion in combined focal and diffuse infiltration group and the"salt-and-pepper"group(P>0.99),and there was statistically significant difference in ADC values between the other groups(P<0.05).The ROC curve showed that the area under the curve(AUC)for identifying focal group and the"salt-and-pepper"group was 0.889[95%confidence interval(CI)0.844-0.934],the AUC for identifying pure diffuse infiltration group and the normal appearance group was 0.968(95%CI 0.949-0.987).ADC values were able to accurately and visually differentiate between the different patterns of bone marrow infiltration.Conclusion The ADC values can be used as a quantitative tool to objectively distinguish different bone marrow infiltration patterns in MM patients.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
4.Follow-up analysis of sex hormone levels and prognosis in women after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation

		                        			Objective:To investigate the levels of sex hormone and fertility in female patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), as well as their correlation with conditioning regimens, and analyse the effect of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in young women after HSCT.Methods:Retrospective case series study. The clinical data of 147 women who underwent HSCT in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2010 to January 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. The sex hormone levels were measured and followed-up, and the survival, menstrual fertility and the use of HRT of the patients were also followed-up. The sex hormone levels were measured after transplantation, and the ovarian function was evaluated. Independent sample t test and χ2 test were used for comparison between the two groups. Results:The median age of the 147 patients was 26 (range, 10-45) years. Of them, 135 patients received allogeneic HSCT and 12 patients received autologous HSCT. Furthermore, 129 patients received myeloablative conditioning, and 18 patients received reduced conditioning dose. The median follow-up time was 50 months (range, 18-134 months). Five patients died of disease recurrence during follow-up. Of the 54 patients with subcutaneous injection of zoladex, three recovered menstruation spontaneously after transplantation, and all of them were myeloablative conditioning patients, one patient gave birth to twins through assisted reproductive technology. Ninety-three patients did not use zoladex before conditioning, two patients with aplastic anemia with non-myeloablative transplantation resumed menstruation spontaneously, and conceived naturally. The level of follicle stimulating hormone after transplantation in patients receiving myeloablative conditioning regimen was significantly higher than that in patients receiving reduced-dose conditioning regimen [(95.28±3.94) U/L vs. (71.85±10.72) U/L, P=0.039]. Among 147 patients, 122 patients developed premature ovarian failure, 83 patients received sex hormone replacement therapy after transplantation, and 76 patients recovered menstruation and improved endocrine function. Conclusions:The incidence of premature ovarian failure is high in female patients after HSCT, and patients have a chance at natural conception. Reducing the dose of conditioning regimen and the application of zoladex before transplantation can reduce ovarian of conditioning drugs. 		                        			BACKGROUND:
		                        			LY01005 (Goserelin acetate sustained-release microsphere injection) is a modified gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist injected monthly. This phase III trial study aimed to evaluated the efficacy and safety of LY01005 in Chinese patients with prostate cancer.
		                        		
		                        			METHODS:
		                        			We conducted a randomized controlled, open-label, non-inferiority trial across 49 sites in China. This study included 290 patients with prostate cancer who received either LY01005 or goserelin implants every 28 days for three injections. The primary efficacy endpoints were the percentage of patients with testosterone suppression ≤50 ng/dL at day 29 and the cumulative probability of testosterone ≤50 ng/dL from day 29 to 85. Non-inferiority was prespecified at a margin of -10%. Secondary endpoints included significant castration (≤20 ng/dL), testosterone surge within 72 h following repeated dosing, and changes in luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and prostate specific antigen levels.
		                        		
		                        			RESULTS:
		                        			On day 29, in the LY01005 and goserelin implant groups, testosterone concentrations fell below medical-castration levels in 99.3% (142/143) and 100% (140/140) of patients, respectively, with a difference of -0.7% (95% confidence interval [CI], -3.9% to 2.0%) between the two groups. The cumulative probabilities of maintaining castration from days 29 to 85 were 99.3% and 97.8%, respectively, with a between-group difference of 1.5% (95% CI, -1.3% to 4.4%). Both results met the criterion for non-inferiority. Secondary endpoints were similar between groups. Both treatments were well-tolerated. LY01005 was associated with fewer injection-site reactions than the goserelin implant (0% vs . 1.4% [2/145]).
		                        		
		                        			CONCLUSION:
		                        			LY01005 is as effective as goserelin implants in reducing testosterone to castration levels, with a similar safety profile.

		                        			Facial paralysis causes both physical pain and psychological distress to patients. It is difficult for a patient with facial paralysis to engage with a normal social life and at work. Progresses have been made in recent years in the treatment of facial paralysis. More attentions have been caught by masseteric to facial nerve transposition, which has advantages of adjacency in location, abundancy in nerve supply and reliability in the outcome and now has deemed an important option of facial reanimation. It has not been long since the application of the technique of masseteric to facial nerve transposition in China, therefore it still lacks a universal guidance on practice. In order to achieve the aim of better quality control and popularisation of the technique, hereby a consensus with suggestions on facial reanimation with masseteric to facial nerve transposition is proposed as the reference for surgeons specialised in facial reanimation. 		                        			Chromium is a harmful contaminant showing mutagenicity and carcinogenicity.Therefore,detection of chromium requires the development of low-cost and high-sensitivity sensors.Herein,blue-fluorescent carbon quantum dots were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal method from alkali-soluble Poria cocos polysaccharide,which is green source,cheap and easy to obtain,and has no pharmacological ac-tivity due to low water solubility.These carbon quantum dots exhibit good fluorescence stability,water solubility,anti-interference and low cytotoxicity,and can be specifically combined with the detection of Cr(Ⅵ)to form a non-fluorescent complex that causes fluorescence quenching,so they can be used as a label-free nanosensor.High-sensitivity detection of Cr(Ⅵ)was achieved through internal filtering and static quenching effects.The fluorescence quenching degree of carbon dots fluorescent probe showed a good linear relationship with Cr(Ⅵ)concentration in the range of 1-100 μM.The linear equation was F0/F=0.9942+0.01472[Cr(Ⅵ)](R2=0.9922),and the detection limit can be as low as 0.25 μM(S/N=3),which has been successfully applied to Cr(Ⅵ)detection in actual water samples herein.

		                        			Objective To study the short-term efficacy and toxicity of intraperitoneal chemotherapy combined with thermotherapy in the treatment of malignant ascites.Methods A total of 60 patients were randomly divided into control group (30 cases) and study group (30 cases).The control group received intraperitoneal chemotherapy and was given chemotherapy drugs injecting after drainage of ascites,while the study group was given intraperitoneal chemotherapy combined with whole body thermal therapy.The short-term efficacy and toxicity were evaluated.Results The efficacy rate of life quality improvement in the study group was higher than that in the control group (90% vs.60%,P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in toxicity (P >0.05).Conclusion Intraperitoneal chemotherapy combined with whole body thermal therapy in the treatment of malignant ascites has higher efficacy and tolerance than intraperitoneal chemotherapy alone.

10.Correlation study between lipid levels and the risk of multiple system atrophy

		                        			Objective To look for more serum biomarkers supporting the diagnosis of multiple system atrophy ( MSA) and providing more evidence for early treatment.Methods All patients and healthy controls were enrolled from January 2011 to March 2015 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.Demographic features and biochemical examination results were collected.The t test was used to compare the lipid levels between MSA patients and controls.LSD-t test was used to compare the lipid levels among subtypes of MSA patients.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the influencing factors.The relevance between lipid levels and onset age, disease duration and Hoehn & Yahr stage was calculated by Spearman correlation coefficients.Results Participants included 195 MSA patients and 195 age-and gender-matched controls with no neurological diseases.The levels of total cholesterol ((4.33 ±0.90) mmol/L), triglyceride ((1.27 ±0.71) mmol/L), low-density lipoprotein (LDL;(2.70 ±0.76) mmol/L) were significantly lower in patients than in controls ((4.52 ±0.85), (1.47 ± 0.86), (2.85 ±0.71) mmol/L ,t=2.056,2.528 and 2.149 respectively, all P<0.05).The levels of total cholesterol ((4.28 ±0.96) mmol/L) and triglyceride ((1.20 ±0.64) mmol/L) were significantly lower in MSA-P patients than in control group ((4.52 ±0.85), (1.47 ±0.86) mmol/L;LSD-t=1.983, 2.566, both P<0.05).After adjusting for age, gender and histories, the odds ratio ( OR) was 0.31 (95%CI 0.15-0.65, P =0.002 ) for MSA patients in the highest quartile of triglyceride and 0.38 (95%CI 0.17 -0.83,P=0.016) for those in the highest quartile of high-density lipoprotein (HDL), compared with the lowest quartiles.And HDL level was in a significantly positive correlation with onset age (r=0.15, P=0.039).Conclusion Our data suggest that triglyceride and HDL may be associated with the prevalence of MSA, and the lower levels of HDL, the earlier onset of MSA.
