Objective:To compare the results of invasive prenatal diagnosis and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and explore the underlying mechanism. Methods:Clinical data of pregnant women undergoing PGT and invasive prenatal diagnosis at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2019 to December 2022 were collected. The results of PGT and invasive prenatal diagnosis were compared, and the outcomes of pregnancies were followed up. This study has been approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of the the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (No. 2022SLYEC-491).Results:A total of 172 couples were included in this study, and 26 non-targeted variants were discovered upon prenatal diagnosis, including 10 cases (38.5%) by chromosomal karyotyping, 15 (57.7%) by chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA), and 1 (3.8%) by whole exome sequencing. The 10 karyotypic anomalies had included 6 chromosomal polymorphisms, 2 chromosomal mosaicisms, 1 paternally derived translocation, and 1 missed maternal chromosomal inversion. CMA has identified 15 copy number variations (CNVs), which included 11 microdeletions and microduplications, 3 loss of heterozygosity, and 1 low-level mosaicism of paternal uniparental disomy. One CNV was classified as pathogenic, and another one was likely pathogenic, whilst the remaining 13 were classified as variants of uncertain significance. Therefore, 8.7% of CNVs was detected by invasive prenatal diagnosis after PGT. 92.3% (24/26) of the non-targeted variants have been due to technological limitations of next-generation sequencing (NGS).Conclusion:Invasive prenatal diagnosis after PGT can detect non-targeted variants, which may further reduce the incidence of birth defects.

BACKGROUND:
LY01005 (Goserelin acetate sustained-release microsphere injection) is a modified gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist injected monthly. This phase III trial study aimed to evaluated the efficacy and safety of LY01005 in Chinese patients with prostate cancer.
METHODS:
We conducted a randomized controlled, open-label, non-inferiority trial across 49 sites in China. This study included 290 patients with prostate cancer who received either LY01005 or goserelin implants every 28 days for three injections. The primary efficacy endpoints were the percentage of patients with testosterone suppression ≤50 ng/dL at day 29 and the cumulative probability of testosterone ≤50 ng/dL from day 29 to 85. Non-inferiority was prespecified at a margin of -10%. Secondary endpoints included significant castration (≤20 ng/dL), testosterone surge within 72 h following repeated dosing, and changes in luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and prostate specific antigen levels.
RESULTS:
On day 29, in the LY01005 and goserelin implant groups, testosterone concentrations fell below medical-castration levels in 99.3% (142/143) and 100% (140/140) of patients, respectively, with a difference of -0.7% (95% confidence interval [CI], -3.9% to 2.0%) between the two groups. The cumulative probabilities of maintaining castration from days 29 to 85 were 99.3% and 97.8%, respectively, with a between-group difference of 1.5% (95% CI, -1.3% to 4.4%). Both results met the criterion for non-inferiority. Secondary endpoints were similar between groups. Both treatments were well-tolerated. LY01005 was associated with fewer injection-site reactions than the goserelin implant (0% vs . 1.4% [2/145]).
CONCLUSION:
LY01005 is as effective as goserelin implants in reducing testosterone to castration levels, with a similar safety profile.

There were 8 cases of left hip and 6 cases of right hip with an average body mass index of 24.35±3.14 kg/m 2 (range, 20.2-28.4 kg/m 2). The duration of symptoms was 6.25±4.39 months (range, 3-11 months). All patients underwent hip arthroscopic cyst cleaning and glenoid labral suturing. The femoral neck α angle, lateral center rim angle, visual analogue score (VAS), Harris hip score (HHS), and international hip outcome tool scores (iHOT-12) were compared before and after operation. Results:All patients successfully completed the operation and were followed up for 10.23±2.45 months (range, 1.5-18 months). The difference between the patients' hip VAS before and after operation was statistically significant ( F=108.47, P<0.001). The VAS score at 18 months after operation was 1.34±0.83, which was significantly lower than that before operation 7.85±1.12 and at 6 weeks after operation 5.03±1.60 ( P<0.05). The difference between the patients' hip HHS scores before and after operation was statistically significant ( F=96.89, P<0.001). The HHS score at 18 months after operation was 85.58±4.65, which was significantly higher than that before operation 54.36±2.31 and 6 weeks after operation 61.12±1.20 ( P<0.05). The differences of iHOT-12 scores before and after operation were statistically significant ( F=117.92, P<0.001). The iHOT-12 score of 18 months after operation was 78.36±2.28 points, which was higher than that before operation 31.39±5.21 points and 6 weeks after operation 47.88±2.20 points, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The difference of α angle of femoral neck before and after operation was statistically significant ( F=101.56, P<0.001). The α angle of femoral neck at 12 months after operation was 45.32°±3.16°, which was significantly lower than that before operation 50.86°±8.41° ( P<0.05). The difference of lateral center rim angle before and after operation was statistically significant ( F=100.38, P<0.001). The lateral center rim angle was 28.23°±5.32° at 12 months after operation, which was smaller than that before operation 32.16°±5.13°, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Hip arthroscopy in the treatment of acetabular labral injury with cysts can relieve hip pain and improve hip function.

Journal of Zhejiang University. Science. B 2022;23(11):931-942
OBJECTIVES:
Safe and effective anticoagulation is essential for hemodialysis patients who are at high risk of bleeding. The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of two-stage regional citrate anticoagulation (RCA) combined with sequential anticoagulation and standard calcium-containing dialysate in intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) treatment.
METHODS:
Patients at high risk of bleeding who underwent IHD from September 2019 to May 2021 were prospectively enrolled in 13 blood purification centers of nephrology departments, and were randomly divided into RCA group and saline flushing group. In the RCA group, 0.04 g/mL sodium citrate was infused from the start of the dialysis line during blood draining and at the venous expansion chamber. The sodium citrate was stopped after 3 h of dialysis, which was changed to sequential dialysis without anticoagulant. The hazard ratios for coagulation were according to baseline.
RESULTS:
A total of 159 patients and 208 sessions were enrolled, including RCA group (80 patients, 110 sessions) and saline flushing group (79 patients, 98 sessions). The incidence of severe coagulation events of extracorporeal circulation in the RCA group was significantly lower than that in the saline flushing group (3.64% vs. 20.41%, P<0.001). The survival time of the filter pipeline in the RCA group was significantly longer than that in the saline flushing group ((238.34±9.33) min vs. (221.73±34.10) min, P<0.001). The urea clearance index (Kt/V) in the RCA group was similar to that in the saline flushing group with no statistically significant difference (1.12±0.34 vs. 1.08±0.34, P=0.41).
CONCLUSIONS
Compared with saline flushing, the two-stage RCA combined with a sequential anticoagulation strategy significantly reduced extracorporeal circulation clotting events and prolonged the dialysis time without serious adverse events.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2021;42(11):1744-1746
Objective:
To conduct a comparative study on the specific effects of systematic sex education on adolescent students in terms of sexual cognition, sexual values, and sexual adaptation, and to provide the support for conducting a comprehensive education in middle schools.
Methods:
A whole group sampling method was used to select 3 369 middle and high school students from six general and vocational middle schools in Sichuan Province, which were divided into systematic sex education schools and non systematic sex education schools, and a comparative study was conducted using the Adolescent Mental Health Scale.
Results:
The results showed that the adolescent students who received systematic sex education were significantly different from those who did not receive systematic sex education in terms of sex related cognition (7.18±6.24, 5.65±7.40), sexual values(7.60±1.17,7.30±1.24), and sexual adjustment (11.49±1.29,11.10±1.41). All differed significantly ( t =5.95, 6.80,7.57, P <0.01). The students who received systematic education in junior middle school were higher than those who received non systematic education in sex related cognition, sexual values and sexual adaptation ( P <0.01). However, in senior high school, the differences in systematic education are only shown in sexual values control and self adaptation in sexual adjustment ( P <0.01). There were significant differences in sex related cognition, sexual values and sexual adjustment between male and female students who received systematic education and non systematic education ( P <0.01).
Conclusion
Systematic sex education is more beneficial to the psychosexual health of adolescent students than non systematic sex education in schools.

Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2020;43(12):1129-1133
Objective:To investigate the level of hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in serum of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and to explore the relationship between hs-CRP level and clinical characteristics and prognosis. Methods:The clinical data of 96 patients with NSCLC (NSCLC group), 50 patients with benign lung disease (benign lung disease group) and 45 normal subjects (control group) from August 2015 to August 2019 were analyzed. The expression of hs-CRP in serum were detected by immunofluorescence immunoassay. The tumor markers carcino-embryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125), cytokeratin-19 fragment antigen (Cyfra21-1), neuronspecific enolase (NSE)were measured using automatic biochemical immunoassay. The relationship between hs-CRP and age, gender, tumor pathological type, clinical stage, imaging relief in patients with NSCLC were analyzed. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of hs-CRP combined with CEA, CA125, Cyfra21-1 and NSE were calculated. Results:The levels of hs-CRP in NSCLC group and benign lung disease group were higher than that in control group [(14.9 ± 7.5), (26.4 ± 10.2) mg/L vs. (5.1 ± 1.3) mg/L], and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05 or <0.01); the level of hs-CRP in NSCLC group was lower than that in benign lung disease group [(14.9 ± 7.5) mg/L vs. (26.4 ± 10.2) mg/L], and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). The levels of CEA, CA125, Cyfra21-1, NSE in NSCLC group were higher than that in benign lung disease group and control group, and there were significant differences ( P<0.01 or<0.05). In 96 patients with NSCLC, there was 49 patients with elevated hs-CRP (hs-CRP elevated group) and 47 patients with normal hs-CRP (hs-CRP normal group). Single factor analysis showed that the level of hs-CRP had no correlation with age, gender and tumor pathological type ( P>0.05), but had correlation with clinical stage ( P<0.05). After detecting the lesions by CT, the rate of solid tumors in hs-CRP elevated group was 66.0%, in hs-CRP normal group was 40.8%, and there was significant difference ( χ2 = 6.089, P<0.05).After followed up for 2 months in NSCLC patients, the disease control rate in hs-CRP elevated group was 59.6%, in hs-CRP normal group was 85.7%, and there was significant difference ( χ2 = 8.300, P<0.01). The ensitivity, specificity and accuracy of hs-CRP combined with CEA, CA125, Cyfra21-1 and NSE was 89.0%, 80.4% and 82.3%. Conclusions:Patients with NSCLC have high expression of hs-CRP, which is correlated with disease progression and clinical treatment. The indicator of hs-CRP combined with CEA, CA125, Cyfra21-1 and NSE may be important for diagnosis and prognosis of NSCLC.

Asian Journal of Andrology 2020;22(6):590-601
The mammalian epididymis not only plays a fundamental role in the maturation of spermatozoa, but also provides protection against various stressors. The foremost among these is the threat posed by oxidative stress, which arises from an imbalance in reactive oxygen species and can elicit damage to cellular lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. In mice, the risk of oxidative damage to spermatozoa is mitigated through the expression and secretion of glutathione peroxidase 5 (GPX5) as a major luminal scavenger in the proximal caput epididymidal segment. Accordingly, the loss of GPX5-mediated protection leads to impaired DNA integrity in the spermatozoa of aged Gpx5
