【Objective】 To investigate the effect and prognosis of Roxastat combined with levocarnitine and polysaccharide iron complex in patients with chronic renal failure hemodialysis anemia(CRFHA). 【Methods】 A total of 70 patients with CRFHA treated in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were selected as study subjects. They were divided into control group and treatment group by simple randomizaiton grouping method. After 5 cases in each group dropped out due to transfer, COVID-19 epidemic and missed follow-up, 30 cases were left in each group. The control group was treated with Roxastat, and the treatment group with L-carnitine and polysaccharide iron complex based on Roxastat. The differences in anemia parameters, iron metabolism, dialysis-related indexes and complications between the two groups were observed and compared. 【Results】 After 3 months of treatment, Hb, RBC, Hct, TIBC, FE, and FERR in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (118.36±6.64 vs 109.34±6.25, 4.32±0.264 vs 4.03±0.32, 32.37±3.30 vs 29.85±3.24, 67.62±10.66 vs 62.78±10.32, 17.87±3.81 vs 12.51±3.82, 389.37±18.30 vs 362.85±18.04, respectively, P<0.05). No significant difference in dialysis-related indicators (serum creatinine, blood phosphorus, and blood calcium) between the two groups before and after 3 months of treatment was noticed (P>0.05). Blood creatinine of patients after 3 months of treatment was significantly higher (control group: 1 016.27±122.14 vs 1 052.27±96.23; observation group 1 014.23±121.57 vs 1 056.25±96.82, P<0.05); blood phosphorus (control group: 2.21±0.21vs 2.14±0.21; observation group: 2.23±0.30 vs 2.15±0.64) was significantly lower(P<0.05); blood calcium (control group: 2.07±0.51 vs 1.85±0.54; observation group 2.05±0.50 vs 1.87±0.52) was significantly lower (P<0.05 ). A comparison of complications between the two groups of patients after 6 months of treatment showed that the combined incidence of gastrointestinal function, increased blood pressure, and fever in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Roxastat combined with L-carnitine and polysaccharide iron complex in patients with CRFHA has definite effect, which improves dialysis-related indicators, has great advantages in optimizing anemia parameters and iron metabolism, and provides reference value for clinical treatment of CRFHA

Objective We reported the rehabilitative nursing points of patients with pectoralis minor muscle transplantation for recovery of thumb oppositional function. Methods We selected 10 patients who underwent pectoralis minor muscle transplantation for recovery of thumb oppositional function and gave them perfect preoperative examination and psychological nursing. We also implemented rigorous monitoring postoperation and auxiliary electric stimulation and functional exercises. The emphasis was put on the exercise of thumb oppositional function. Results The thumb oppositional function of all the ten patients recovered. The myodynamia reached level 4 and the shape of thenar was satisfying after 6 to 12 months of follow-up visit. Conclusions Sufficient preoperative psychological nursing and effective postoperative rehabilitative treatment had pivotal significance for the success of operation and the recovery of thumb oppositional function.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2002;20(5):356-360
OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of squamous cell carcinoma on oral bacteria.
METHODSThis study investigated the microbial contents of the plaque on the surfaces of oral squamous cell carcinomas. Samples were obtained from the central surface of lesions, contiguous healthy mucosa and saliva of 42 patients with oral squamous carcinoma before and after operation.
RESULTSThe median of bacterial colony forming units per milliliter (CFUs/ml) of saliva before operation was 8.10 x 10(8) CFUs/ml. The median of CFUs per square centimeter of the tumor surface was 5.21 x 10(5) CFUs/cm2 which was significantly higher than that of the healthy (the control) mucosa (1.77 x 10(4) CFUs/cm2, P = 0.0001). The CFUs per square centimeter of mucosa surface at the operative zone was 4.34 x 10(5) CFUs/cm2 which was also significantly higher than that of the healthy (control) mucosa(7.24 x 10(4) CFUs/cm2, P = 0.0001).
CONCLUSIONOral carcinoma can break the balance of oral microflora, which may be one of the reasons leading to the high susceptivity of these compromised patients to systemic infection.

OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study was to investigate the indication and therapeutic effects of Pingyangmycin injection as a primary therapy of lymphangiomas in oral, maxillofacial and cervical region.
METHODSA total of 195 patients (106 males and 89 females) with lymphangiomas in oral and maxillofacial regions were treated in the affiliated dental hospital of Sichuan University from May 1990 to December 2000. The patients' ages ranged from 0.5 to 46 years. The tongue was the most commonly involved site, followed by the cheek and the neck. The 200 lymphangiomas (5 patients had 2 lymphangiomas in different sites) underwent the therapy of Pingyangmycin, which was injected as with 1 mg/ml in saline. The total dose of Pingyangmycin ranged from 5 mg to 70 mg and 5 to 58 times, 1 time per 2-4 weeks.
RESULTSThe curative rate of cystic-type lymphangiomas was the highest. Of the 51 cystic lymphangiomas, 110 capillary lymphangiomas, 18 cavernous lymphangiomas and 21 combinations of capillary and cavenous lymphangiomas, the curative rates were respectively 100% (51), 46.36% (51), 16.16% (3) and 19.05% (4), which showed a significant therapeutic effect, respectively. And 40(78.43%), 19(17.27%), 2(11.11%) and 0(0%) of them completely disappeared. There was no serious side effect with Pingyangmycin-injection treatment, such as pulmonary fibrosis.
CONCLUSIONThe treatment of injection of Pingyangmycin is a selective primary method of lymphangiomas, which can reduce the size of lymphangiomas, and make them completely disappeared.
