1.Visualization analysis of research hotspots in pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy in China.

The aim of this study is to analyze the research hotspots and development trends in the field of pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy in China from 2013 to 2022. Based on China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform, China Science and Technology Journal Database, China Biology Medicine disc, Web of Science core collection and PubMed database, the related literatures in the field of pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy in China from 2013 to 2022, were retrieved to establish the database, and the VOSviewer software was used for bibliometric analysis. A total of 1 664 Chinese and 2 149 English literatures are included in this study. The scientific research results from 2013 to 2022 have shown an overall increasing trend. The research hotspots in the field of pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy in China are mainly concentrated in Podocytes, Oxidative stress, Inflammation, Renal fibrosis, Urine protein, etc. The frontier hotspots in this field include Biomarkers, Nrf2, Gut microbiota, NLRP3 inflammasome, Apoptosis, MicroRNA, etc. Through visual analysis, the research hotspots and frontier trends of the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy in China can be visually presented, and then provide new ideas and directions for the further in-depth research on the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy.

3.Research progression in clinical treatment of gastric cancer in 2020.

Gastric cancer is a common type of malignant tumors, but its clinical prognosis remains unsatisfactory. Up to 2020, a growing number of high-quality clinical researches has provided reliable evidence for clinical practice. Evidences from surgery, perioperative treatment and immunotherapy, such as changes in surgical methods, improvement of perioperative chemotherapy and combination of immune and chemotherapy strategy, provided the possibility to improve the clinical efficacy of gastric cancer. In our clinical practice, gastrointestinal surgeons need to integrate the current research progression and develop individualized strategy for different patients, which is expected to further improve the prognosis and quality of life for patients with gastric cancer.

4.Research Progress of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor-associated Myocarditis.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) is a negative regulatory factor antibody, which activates T cells to play an anti-tumor effect in immunotherapy, and can also cause immune-related adverse responses, thereby inducing a series of immune related adverse events (irAEs). Among these irAEs, although the incidence of ICIs-related myocarditis is very low, the fatality rate is significantly higher than other adverse reactions, close to 50%. Clinicians should be vigilant when applying ICIs, but the pathogenesis of ICIs-related myocarditis is still unclear. This article combines the recent research results of ICIs to summarize the mechanism and clinical manifestations of ICIs-related myocarditis, so as to improve clinicians' understanding of the adverse reactions.

5.An analysis of global research on SARS-CoV-2.

The SARS-CoV-2 has been spread to 26 countries around the world since its outbreak. By February 16, 2020, more than 68 000 people had been diagnosed with COVID-19. Researchers from all over the world have carried out timely studies on this public health emergency and produced a number of scientific publications. This review aims to re-analyze and summarize the current research findings in a timely manner to guide scholars in relevant fields to further SARS-CoV-2 research and assist healthcare professionals in their work and decision-making. The SARS-CoV-2 related terms were selected in both English and Chinese and were searched in several major databases, including Pubmed, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP databases. The reference list of each search result was screened for relevance, which was further supplemented to the search results. The included studies were categorized by topics with key characteristics extracted, re-analyzed, and summarized. A total of 301 articles were finally included with 136 in Chinese and 165 in English. The number of publications has rapidly increased since mid-January, 2020, and a peak day was 6th February on which 50 articles were published. The top three countries publishing articles were China, the United States and the United Kingdom. The and its specialty journals have published the most articles, with contribution also from journals such as ( ), ( ), and . All articles were categorized into epidemiology, clinical diagnosis and treatment, basic research, pregnant women and children, mental health, epidemic prevention & control, and others. The literatures related to SARS-CoV-2 are emerging rapidly. It is necessary to sort out and summarize the research topic in time, which has a good reference value for staff in different positions. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the judgment of the quality of literatures.

7.Research Advances of JAK/STAT Signaling Pathway in Lung Cancer.

Janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) signaling pathway is one of the downstream pathways of cytokine signaling transduction. It regulates cell development, differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis and so on. The pathway is not only involved in the regulation of normal physiological processes, but also significant in the development of tumors, especially in hematologic malignancies. In recent years, with the further research of JAK/STAT signaling pathway, it has been found that the pathway also plays a key role in the development of solid tumors. Here we reviewed the research advances of JAK/STAT signaling pathway in lung cancer, especially the mechanisms of development, metastasis and drug resistance, and the application of inhibitors which targeting JAK/STAT signaling pathway in the treatment of lung cancer.

8.Research progress in lung transplantation.

Lung transplantation is the only effective treatment for end-stage lung disease. The problems, including acute rejection, infection, primary graft dysfunction (PGD) and ischemia/reperfusion injury after lung transplantation, as well as surgical techniques and anesthesia management, donor, cardiopulmonary bypass or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and the main pathogenesis of the receptor, that restrict the development of lung transplantation seriously, and affect the prognosis of patients. Through the description of above major bottlenecks related to lung transplantation and the factors that seriously affect the survival of lung transplant patients and the current response measures, new ideas for the clinical treatment of lung transplantation are presented.

9.CircRNA as a new field in human disease research.

For the characteristics of high stability, high conservation between species, and tissue specificity, circular RNA(circRNA) has been expected to become a new molecular biomarker for the clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis, and the potential target for targeted therapy. Study on the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome includes not only the macro indexes collected by using four traditional methods of diagnosis, but also contains some micro information that can not be achieved by using the four traditional diagnosis methods. The questions such as how to deal with the relationship between the holistic concept of TCM and micro research, and how to solve the contradiction between the fuzziness of syndrome description and the accuracy of microscopic research, need to be considered before the micro research in TCM syndrome. circRNA as a new field of understanding human disease, may provide some ideas for the TCM syndrome research due to its characteristics. Overall, it is necessary to pay attention to explore the molecular level with same syndrome in different diseases and reveal the connotation and essence of syndromes by understanding of circRNA.
