The obesity related glomerulopathology attracts more and more attention due to the proteinuria induced by podocyte injury. TRPC6,which on the slit diaphragm of podocyte, and other factors contain together of the signal translation, cell polarization and cell skeleton structure of podocyte. Therefore the ion channels become the research front filed of kidney disease from the view on electrophysiology. Under this background, we introduce the biological function of TRPC6 and review its role on proteinuria induced by obesity. At last we sum up and outlook the application of TRPC6 as a treated target in proteinuria related obesity in the future.

Background::Urticaria is a common skin disease characterized by episodes of wheals, and it has a negative effect on patients’ quality of life. Large-scale population-based epidemiological studies of urticaria are scarce in China. The aim of this survey was to determine the prevalence, clinical forms, and risk factors of urticaria in the Chinese population.Methods::This survey was conducted in 35 cities from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities of China. Two to three communities in each city were selected in this investigation. Participants completed questionnaires and received dermatological examinations. We analyzed the prevalence, clinical forms, and risk factors of urticaria.Results::In total, 44,875 questionnaires were distributed and 41,041 valid questionnaires were collected (17,563 male and 23,478 female participants). The lifetime prevalence of urticaria was 7.30%, with 8.26% in female and 6.34% in male individuals ( P < 0.05). The point prevalence of urticaria was 0.75%, with 0.79% in female and 0.71% in male individuals ( P < 0.05). Concomitant angioedema was found in 6.16% of patients. Adults had a higher prevalence of urticaria than adolescents and children. Living in urban areas, exposure to pollutants, an anxious or depressed psychological status, a personal and family history of allergy, thyroid diseases, and Helicobacter pylori infection were associated with a higher prevalence of urticaria. Smoking was correlated with a reduced risk of urticaria. Conclusion::This study demonstrated that the lifetime prevalence of urticaria was 7.30% and the point prevalence was 0.75% in the Chinese population; women had a higher prevalence of urticaria than men. Various factors were correlated with urticaria.
3. A prospective study on primary prevention of major vascular lesions of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in Han population in Northeast China
Journal of Jilin University(Medicine Edition) 2018;44(6):1243-1248
Objective: To explore the changes of incidence of major vascular lesions after intensive intervention of multiple controllable risk factors in the type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients in Han population in Northeast China, and to establish an effective, standardized and cost-effective intervention scheme for the primary prevention of major vascular lesions of the T2DM patients. Methods: A total of 300 T2DM patients newly diagnosed or diagnosed in one year without major vascular lesions were randomly divided into conventional treatment group (n= 150) and intensive intervention group (n=150). The clinical study method of parallel control was used to intervene in the some controllable risk factors for 2 years to varying degrees. The body mass index (BMD, waist/hip ratio (WHR), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), fasting blood glucose (FPG), 2 h postprandial blood glucose (2 h PBG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc), serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c), high density lipoprotein (HDL-c), intima media thickness (IMT) and incidence of majoy vascular lesions of atherosclerosis (AS) of the patients in two groups were measured, and the medical expenses of the patients were analyzed statistically. Results: After 2-year-follow-up, the DBP, FBG, 2 h PBG, HbAlc, TG, TC and HDL-c of the patients in conventional treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment (P
