Objective:
To evaluate the effectiveness of "Internet plus" continuous intervention on psychological status and nursing satisfaction of patients with depression after hospital discharge, so as to provide the reference for reducing the recurrence risk of patients with depression and improving the quality of life.
Methods:
From January to December 2024, patients with mild to moderate depression who were hospitalized in a tertiary grade-a mental health specialized hospital in Wenzhou City and met the discharge criteria were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into the control group and the intervention group according to a ratio of 1∶1 by the random number table method. Hamilton Depression Scale, Hamilton Anxiety Scale, and Nursing Satisfaction Questionnaire were used to evaluate depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and nursing satisfaction before and after intervention. Covariance analysis was used to compare the differences between the two groups before and after the intervention.
Results:
A total of 62 patients with mild to moderate depression were enrolled, with 31 patients in the intervention group and 31 patients in the control group. Before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in gender, age, course of disease, educational level, marital status, depression symptoms score, anxiety symptoms score, and nursing satisfaction score between the two groups (all P>0.05). After the intervention, the scores of depression and anxiety symptoms in the intervention group decreased by 8.87 and 5.01 points, respectively, compared with those before the intervention, and the scores of depression and anxiety symptoms in the control group decreased by 2.52 and 1.16 points, respectively (all P<0.05). After the intervention, the scores of depression and anxiety symptoms in the intervention group decreased more than those in the control group (both P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction score of the intervention group increased by 6.57 points on average compared with that before the intervention, and that of the control group increased by 4.23 points on average (both P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the increase of nursing satisfaction scores between the two groups before and after intervention (P>0.05).
Conclusion
The "Internet plus" continuous intervention has a good effect on improving the depressive symptoms and anxiety symptoms of patients with depression after haspital discharge, which can consolidate the treatment effect and improve nursing satisfaction.

Objective:
To construct a prediction model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in middle-aged and elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), so as to provide basis for early screening and prevention of T2DM complicated with NAFLD.
Methods:
Patients aged 45 years and above and diagnosed with T2DM in Karamay Hospital of People's Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2021 were collected as the study subjects. The data of general demographic characteristics and biochemical test results were collected. The patients were randomly divided into training group (n=3 241) and validation group (n=1 389) according to the ratio of 7∶3. LASSO regression and multivariable logistic regression model were used to select predictive factors. The nomograph model for prediction of NAFLD risk in T2DM patients was established. The predictive value of the model was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC), adjusted curve and decision clinical analysis.
Results:
Totally 4 630 T2DM cases were included, including 1 279 cases (27.62%) complicated with NAFLD. LASSO regression and multivariable logistic regression analysis identified gender, age, diastolic blood pressure, body mass index, alanine transaminase, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein cholesterol and platelet count as risk prediction factors for NAFLD in T2DM patients. The area under the ROC curve was 0.823 (95%CI: 0.814-0.832) for the training group and 0.809 (95%CI: 0.799-0.818) for the validation group, and Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed a good fitting effect (P>0.05). Decision curve analysis showed higher net clinical benefit of using the predictive model to predict NAFLD risk when the risk threshold probability was 0.27 to 0.85.
Conclusion
The nomogram model established has a good predictive value for the risk of NAFLD in T2DM patients aged 45 years and above.

Objective To investigate the effect of bronchoscopic balloon dilation treatment of different intervals on the tracheal intubation-induced subglottic stenosis in children. Methods Children with tracheal intubation-induced subglottic cicatricial stenosis were selected as the research objects. Among the 36 children with pure balloon dilation treatment, 20 cases were enrolled in the observation group and 16 cases were enrolled in the control group. In the observation group, electronic bronchoscopy was performed at 3 days after the first-time balloon dilation treatment, and those with grade 2 or higher stenosis received the second-time balloon dilation treatment. The follow-up treatment principle was as follows. If there was obvious retraction compared with the previous time and the stenosis was grade 2 or higher, the balloon dilation treatment would be performed again after an interval of 3 days; if there was no obvious retraction, the evaluation would be performed again after an interval of 2 weeks until there was no obvious retraction in the stenosis site under endoscopy for 3 times in 6 consecutive weeks, and the degree of stenosis was less than 25%, and then the electronic bronchoscopy evaluation would be stopped. In the control group, electronic bronchoscopy was performed 7 days after the first-time balloon dilation treatment, and those with grade 2 or higher stenosis received the second-time balloon dilation treatment. The follow-up treatment principle was as follows. If there was obvious retraction compared with the previous time and the stenosis was grade 2 or higher, the balloon dilation treatment would be performed again after an interval of 7 days; the evaluation method for those without obvious retraction was the same as the observation group. The follow-up duration ranged from 6 to 9 months. Results There was no significant difference in the total number of treatments and outcomes between the two groups (

Crossmodal information processing in sensory cortices has been reported in sparsely distributed neurons under normal conditions and can undergo experience- or activity-induced plasticity. Given the potential role in brain function as indicated by previous reports, crossmodal connectivity in the sensory cortex needs to be further explored. Using perforated whole-cell recording in anesthetized adult rats, we found that almost all neurons recorded in the primary somatosensory, auditory, and visual cortices exhibited significant membrane-potential responses to crossmodal stimulation, as recorded when brain activity states were pharmacologically down-regulated in light anesthesia. These crossmodal cortical responses were excitatory and subthreshold, and further seemed to be relayed primarily by the sensory thalamus, but not the sensory cortex, of the stimulated modality. Our experiments indicate a sensory cortical presence of widespread excitatory crossmodal inputs, which might play roles in brain functions involving crossmodal information processing or plasticity.

Objective:To correlate creatine kinase (CK) and creatine kinase- isoenzyme MB (CK-MB) with different states of bipolar disorder in patients. Methods:A total of 206 patients with bipolar disorder who received treatment in The 7 th People's Hospital of Wenzhou, China between January 2018 and June 2019 were included in the patient group. A total of 369 healthy controls who concurrently received physical examination were included in the control group. CK and CK-MB levels were detected in all participants. The Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS), Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD)-7 scale, the Bech-Rafaelsen Melancholy Scale (BRMS), and modified version of the Overt Aggression Scale (MOAS) were used to evaluate the mental symptoms, depression, mania and aggression of patients. The CK and CK-MB levels were compared between patients with different states of bipolar disorder. Results:In the control group, CK and CK-MB levels in males were 112.5 (94.5, 156.5) U/L and 17.0 (15.0, 20.0) U/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in females [73.0 (61.0, 86.3) U/L, 15.0 (13.0, 18.0) U/L, Z = -9.732, -3.535, both P < 0.001). In the patient group, CK and CK-MB levels in males were 129.0 (80.0, 233.5) U/L, 12.0 (10.0, 17.0) U/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in females [73.0 (55.0, 94.0) U/L, 13.5 (11.0, 17.0) U/L, Z = -9.510, -4.746, both P < 0.001]. There was no significant difference in CK level in males between the control and patient groups ( Z = -1.003, P = 0.316), but significant difference in CK-MB level in males was observed between the two groups ( Z = -6.570, P < 0.001). There were significant differences in CK and CK-MB levels in females between the control and patient groups ( Z = -2.535, -9.707, P = 0.011, P < 0.001). In the patient group, CK level in the manic, depressive, and symptom-alleviated states was 132.0 (78.0, 297.0) U/L, 85.0 (56.0, 145.0) U/L, 128.0 (110.0, 165.0) U/L respectively in males, and it was 73.0 (49.0, 122.3) U/L, 51.0 (45.0, 67.0) U/L and 84.5 (61.0, 193.0) U/L, respectively in females. There was significant difference in CK level in males and females between different states of bipolar disorder ( χ2 = 9.019, 16.720, P = 0.011, P < 0.001). In males, CK level was correlated with the BPRS total score, BRMS total score, and MOAS total score in the manic state, as well as the BPRS total score in the symptom-alleviated state ( r = 0.282, 0.286, 0.236, 0.574). In females, CK level was correlated with the MOAS total score in the manic state ( r = 0.260). In males, CK-MB level was correlated with the BRMS total score in the manic and depressive states ( r = 0.186 and 0.496). In females, CK-MB level was correlated with the MOAS total score and the BRMS total score in the manic state ( r = 0.155, 0.572). Conclusion:CK and CK-MB levels are correlated with bipolar disorder in different states and they are of certain clinical significance and provide innovative insights into the diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
