Objective To address the radioactive contamination of wounds caused by transuranic nuclides, wound radiation imaging based on coded aperture imaging technology was investigated. Methods By simulating multiple source terms using Monte Carlo method, the differences in imaging performance between two image reconstruction algorithms under near-field conditions were compared. The effects of detector pixels and detection plane pixels on image resolution were investigated. Results The imaging system was simulated based on the designed dimensions. The simulated imaging field of view was 89.4 mm × 89.4 mm and the simulated angular resolution was 1.98°. Based on the comparison of the average width at half height of the reconstructed point sources under different conditions, it was found that increasing the number of pixels in the detector and detection plane optimized the angular resolution but significantly prolonged the Monte Carlo simulation time. Conclusion According to the simulation results, the parameters of the imaging system can be used to effectively image radioactive contamination. Our results provide methodological support for the measurement of wound contamination caused by transuranic nuclides, and lay the foundation for the development of wound contamination imaging detection systems in the future.

Antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs)are a new type of targeting antibodies that conjugate with highly toxic anticancer drugs via chemical linkers to exert high specificity and efficient killing of tumor cells, thereby attracting considerable attention in precise oncology therapy.Cetuximab(Cet)is a typical antibody that offers the benefits of good targeting and safety for individuals with advanced and inoperable cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma(cSCC);however, its anti-tumor activity is limited to a single use.Cisplatin(CisPt)shows good curative effects;however, its adverse effects and non-tumor-targeting ability are major drawbacks. In this study,we designed and developed a new ADC based on a new cytotoxic platinum(Ⅳ)prodrug(C8Pt(Ⅳ))and Cet.The so-called antibody-platinum(Ⅳ)prodrugs conjugates, named Cet-C8Pt(Ⅳ),showed excellent tumor targeting in cSCC.Specifically,it accurately delivered C8Pt(Ⅳ)into tumor cells to exert the combined anti-tumor effect of Cet and CisPt.Herein, metabolomic analysis showed that Cet-C8Pt(Ⅳ)promoted cellular apoptosis and increased DNA damage in cSCC cells by affecting the vitamin B6 metabolic pathway in tumor cells, thereby further enhancing the tumor-killing ability and providing a new strategy for clinical cancer treatment using antibody-platinum(Ⅳ)prodrugs conjugates.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of intense pulsed light combined with fruit acid in the treatment of erythema and pigmentation after facial acne. Methods:From January 2019 to December 2022, 108 patients were selected from Dermatology Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, including 30 males and 78 females, aged 20-44 (28.2±5.1) years. The patients were divided into three groups: intense pulsed light group (40 cases), fruit acid group (38 cases) and intense pulsed light combined with fruit acid group (30 cases). The clinical efficacy of the three groups was compared. The facial biological characteristics data of patients were collected with VISIA skin analyzer and the changes compared before and after treatment in each group. Results:The total effective rates of the intense pulsed light group, the fruit acid group and the combination group were 57.5% (23/40 cases), 50.0% (19/38 cases), and 80.0% (24/30 cases), respectively. Comparison of total effective rates among three groups, there were statistically significant differences (χ 2=6.70, P=0.04). Comparison of effective rates among different groups showed that there was no difference between the intense pulsed light group and the fruit acid group (χ 2=0.44, P=0.51); there were significant difference between the intense pulse light group and the combination group (χ 2=3.93, 6.49; P<0.05), and between the fruit acid group and the combination group (χ 2=6.49, P=0.01). After treatment, the VISIA scores of erythema, spots, pores, and purple in three groups of patients significantly decreased compared to before treatment ( P<0.05). The VISIA scores of each observation value showed a decreasing trend with the increase of treatment frequency ( P<0.01). During the treatment, no obvious adverse reactions were observed. Conclusions:Intense pulsed light combined with fruit acid in the treatment of facial erythema postacnes and postinflammatory hyperpigmentation can improve the efficacy and less adverse reactions.

Objective:To investigate the clinical features of neonatal testicular torsion and to evaluate the effect and necessity of early intervention. Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 11 neonates admitted to the Second Hospital of Shandong University with neonatal testicular torsion from June 2017 to June 2022. Clinical data of these cases including clinical manifestations, ultrasonography findings, surgical management and outcomes were reviewed and analyzed with descriptive statistical methods. Results:The median age of the 11 patients on admission was 2.6 d (1-5 d). The median time from finding abnormal scrotum to admission was 12 h (1-120 h). Various degrees of scrotal swelling or scleroma were found in the patients. Among them, seven patients presented with acute inflammatory signs of cyano sis or skin redness, and testis-like tissue induration could be touched. Ultrasound scan showed abnormal blood flow in the affected testicle in all cases. Emergency scrotal exploration under general anesthesia was performed successfully in all cases and ten of them underwent orchiectomy of the affected testicle plus contralateral orchiopexy. The rest one who was admitted within 1 h after birth only underwent orchiopexy of the affected testicle as the parents refused contralateral testicular exploration. During the operation, 12 twisted testis were observed, including seven with extravaginal torsion, three with intravaginal torsion and two adhering to the surrounding tissue without normal testicular tissue or distinguishable torsion direction or degree. In this study, ten patients had unilateral testicular torsion, which affected the left side in seven cases and the right side in three cases, and one had bilateral testicular torsion, which was diagnosed as left testicle torsion before surgery. During scrotal exploration, the left testicle of this bilateral case was resected due to necrosis, while the right testicle twisted about 180 degrees with good blood flow and was subjected to orchidopexy after reduction. In one case, the unaffected testicle was unfixed and dysplastic during contralateral exploration, which was also subjected to orchidopexy. In the 12 testis with torsion, one testicle of the patient admitted within 1 h after birth and the right testicle of the bilateral case were preserved with a salvage rate of 2/12. Pathological examination showed necrosis in the ten excised testis, and fibrosis and calcification foci in two of them. None of the patients had any perioperative complications and the scrotal incision healed well in all neonates. The patients were followed up for 6-12 months with regular ultrasound. The two preserved testis and the contralateral testis subjected to orchidopexy were located in the scrotum with good blood supply, and no torsion, atrophy or other abnormalities occurred. Conclusions:Neonatal testicular torsion is rarely seen in clinical practice and has no specific manifestations. It has a high excision rate due to testicular necrosis. Early diagnosis and bilateral scrotal exploration are crucial to the prognosis and the keys to save the affected testis and avoid anorchidism.

【Objective】 To investigate whether the blood donors' coagulation status may lead to apheresis platelet aggregation in vitro. 【Methods】 Thirty blood donors with aggregation in apheresis platelets collected by AMICUS blood cell separator no less than 3 times previously and occurred when the last time of apheresis donation were observed in aggregated group (referred to as the experimental group); Thirty donors without aggregation in apheresis platelets collected by AMICUS blood cell separator no less than 3 times were observed in the control group simultaneously. The basic platelet parameters in the two groups, including Plt, MPV, PDW, Pet, P-LCR were detected by automatic blood cell analyzer (BC-3000Plus), and thromboelastogram indexes including reaction time(R), kinetics time(K), kinetics of clot development(α), maximum amplitude (MA) and coagulation index(CI) were tested by Thrombosis elastography (TEG) before collection. With SPSS24.0 software, t test was used to compare the differences between the two groups. 【Results】 The CI value in experimental group was significantly different from that of the control group (0.48± 1.00 vs -0.99 ±1.96, P< 0.05), and there was no significant difference in all above basic platelet parameters and other TEG parameters (P>0.05 ) . 【Conclusion】 The coagulation status of blood donors may be an independent risk factor for the in vitro aggregation of apheresis platelets.

Objective:To explore the association between hair trace element and all-cause death in the elderly in Hainan Province. Methods:The subjects of the study were elderly people from China Hainan Centenarian Cohort Study, a total of 163 elderly were included. The association between hair trace element level and all-cause death was analyzed by using Cox proportional risk regression model. Results:After fully adjusting the covariates, the multiple Cox proportional hazards regression analyses showed that selenium (Se), manganese (Mn), strontium (Sr) concentrations in hair were significantly associated with all-cause mortality, the hazard ratio ( HR) were 0.72 (95% CI: 0.54-0.98, P=0.035), 1.50 (95% CI: 1.07-2.11, P=0.020) and 0.54 (95% CI: 0.37-0.79, P=0.001), respectively. Subgroup and cross analysis showed that hair copper (Cu) were significant association with death in the people with anemia, the HR were 1.81 (95% CI: 1.13-2.88, P=0.013). And, hair Mn interacted with anemia, the HR was 0.46 (95% CI: 0.22-0.94, P=0.033). Conclusions:Se, Mn and Sr concentrations in hair were associated with the elevated risk for all-cause death in the elderly in Hainan. Se, Mn and Sr concentrations in hair can be used as a reference index for the prediction of the death risk of long-lived elderly in community, suggesting that the daily diet of elderly people are rich and diverse, in order to maintain normal and balanced trace element content in the body.

Objective:To explore the association between weight status and early changes in blood pressure, cardiac structure and function in children at 4 years of age. Methods:A cross-sectional study of the relationship between weight status and cardiovascular parameters was performed on the platform of "Shanghai Birth Cohort" in Shanghai Xinhua Hospital between 2017 and 2020. Height, weight, blood pressure and echocardiography were measured in 1 477 children at 4 years of age. According to body mass index (BMI), participants were classified into five groups: underweight, lean, normal weight, overweight and obese. Blood pressure, cardiac structure and function indexes were compared among different groups using one-way ANOVA. The associations between blood pressure, cardiac structure and function and weight status in children were analyzed by linear regression models. Multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze whether weight status was an independent risk factor for elevated blood pressure or left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in children. Results:A total of 1 477 children including 772 boys and 705 girls were included in this study. There were 115 overweight and obese boys (14.9%) and 68 overweight and obese girls (9.6%). The majority of children had normal weight (916 cases, 62.0%), followed by underweight (303 cases, 20.5%), overweight (130 cases, 8.8%), lean (75 cases, 5.1%), and obese (53 cases, 3.6%). With the increase of BMI, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, left ventricular mass index (LVMI), left ventricular posterior wall thickness in systole, left ventricular posterior wall thickness in diastole, left ventricular diameter in end-systole, left ventricular diameter in end-diastole, interventricular septum thickness in systole and left ventricular ejection fraction showed significantly positive trend, and the differences among the groups were significant (F=31.73, 6.59, 14.22, 4.96, 3.01, 31.50, 39.79, 5.91, 3.09, all P<0.05). Multiple linear regression showed that overweight and obese were all positively associated with systolic blood pressure (β=5.2, 95% CI 3.6-6.8), LVMI (β=1.9, 95% CI 0.8-3.1), left ventricular diameter in end-systole (β=1.3, 95% CI 0.9-1.8), and left ventricular diameter in end-diastole (β=1.6, 95% CI 1.0-2.2). In the Logistic regression model, compared with normal weight children, overweight ( OR=2.37, 95% CI 1.37-4.41) and obese children ( OR=10.90, 95% CI 4.47-26.60) both had significantly increased risk of elevated blood pressure. However, the risk of LVH did not significantly increased. Conclusions:Overweight and obesity in 4-year-old children are associated with increased blood pressure, increased left ventricle diameter and LVMI. Overweight and obesity are independent risk factors for elevated blood pressure in children at 4 years of age.
