		                        			Objective :
To investigate the application of indocyanine green in near-infrared fluorescence imaging to determine the scope of necrotic bone resection in osteoradionecrosis of the jaw and to provide a reference for clinicians

		                        			Methods :
Eight patients with osteoradionecrosis of the jaws were enrolled. Indocyanine green was intravenously injected through the elbow vein 10 minutes before osteotomy. After conservative resection of necrotic bone lesions based on imaging results, the scope of potential dead bone resection in the area of low fluorescence intensity was gradually expanded at an initial distance of 0.3 cm. Near-infrared fluorescence imaging and fluorescence intensity determination of bone cross-section were performed before and after extended resection. Statistical differences were analyzed. All patients with osteonecrosis underwent regular follow-up to evaluate the postoperative efficacy

		                        			Results:
Indocyanine green was injected into all 8 patients with osteoradionecrosis for near-infrared fluorescence imaging and the scans were clear; the fluorescence intensity of fresh bone wounds with an expanded mandibular resection range of (0.95 ± 0.14) cm was (226.2 ± 15.8) au, which was higher than that based on intraoperative macroscopic observation and radiological results (108.8 ± 3.4) au, (t = 20.718, P<0.001). The postoperative follow-up improvement rate of 8 patients was 87.5%.

In recent years, organ donation and transplantation have entered a stage of steady development in China. Nevertheless, the shortage of transplant organs and the contradiction between supply and demand of organs are still the bottlenecks to achieve the strategy of "self-sufficiency in organ transplantation" advocated by the World Health Organization (WHO). The key reasons for donor loss described in the "critical pathway of organ donation" defined by the WHO include the identification and referral of potential donors and the maintenance and repair of organs. Smooth development, high efficiency and high-quality development of organ donation cannot be achieved without the support of intensive care medicine, which are highly associated with the cognition, recognition and participation of intensive care unit(ICU) staff. In this article, research progress in ICU staff’s cognition, attitude and willingness for organ donation were reviewed and relevant influencing factors were discussed, aiming to offer targeted suggestions on how to resolve these difficulties.

Objective At present, the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) pandemic is still raging in certain regions around the globe, and the prevention and control of the pandemic should be strengthened. Under the challenges of respective social environment and allocation of medical resources, and support from the inertia and inherent productivity of the system on which the industry depends, extensive attempts are being delivered to push forward the work of organ donation and transplantation in each country. Under the guidance of national experts and committee members, Shanxi Provincial Human Organ Procurement and Allocation Service Center was established on August 28, 2018 approved by the former Shanxi Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission. It is the only independent non-profit medical institution in Shanxi Province. In this article, the system construction of citizen's organ donation and transplantation fitting national and provincial conditions was further explored according to the data analysis of organ donation and transplantation in the United States and Spain during the COVID-19 pandemic combined with the implementation of organ donation work in Shanxi Provincial Human Organ Procurement and Allocation Service Center.

5.MicroRNA-370 Regulates Cellepithelial-Mesenchymal Transition, Migration, Invasion, and Prognosis of Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Targeting GUCD1

PURPOSE: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly aggressive malignant tumor, the prognosis of which remains poor. Recently, microRNAs have been reported to play crucial functions in multiple tumors, including HCC. However, the molecular mechanisms of miR-370 in HCC still remain largely unknown. The present study focused on the effects of miR-370 on HCC migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). MATERIALS AND METHODS: We investigated the key roles and possible regulatory mechanism of miR-370 in regulating HCC metastasis with functional assays, such as transwell assay. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) was used to detect miR-370 and guanylylcyclase domain containing 1 (GUCD1) expression in HCC tissues and cells. Subsequently, we performed transwell assays to determine the functions of miR-370 in HCC cell invasion and migration. Western blot was used to determine protein expressions of relevant genes. Luciferase reporter assays were conducted to confirm the target gene of miR-370. RESULTS: qRT-PCR analysis demonstrated that miR-370 was dramatically downregulated in HCC. Moreover, downregulated miR-370 was found to be associated with poor survival and adverse clinicopathologic characteristics of HCC patients. Transwell assays revealed that miR-370 overexpression dramatically suppressed HCC invasion and migration. Meanwhile, miR-370 restoration prominently inhibited EMT progression in HCC cells. Luciferase reporter assays confirmed GUCD1 as a downstream target gene of miR-370. GUCD1 expression in HCC tissues was prominently increased and inversely correlated with miR-370 expression. Furthermore, GUCD1 was verified as mediating the suppressive influence of miR-370 on cell metastasis and EMT in HCC. CONCLUSION: Taken together, our study confirmed that miR-370 suppressed HCC cell metastasis and EMT via regulating GUCD1. Accordingly, the miR-370/GUCD1 axis may potentially acts as attractive therapeutic targets and novel biomarkers for HCC treatment.

Objective To investigate neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in early-stage diabetic nephropathy and its clinic significance. Methods The 145 subjects were divided into two groups:the healthy control group (n=54) and early stage diabetic nephropathy group (n=91). The numbers of neutrophils (N) and lymphocytes (L) as well as the NLR values of peripheral blood and other biochemistry index were examined. Factors of early stage diabetic nephropathy were calculated us?ing variance and logistic regression analysis. Results Creatinine(Cr), total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), LDL-C, neu?trophils number and CRP in DN group were significantly higher than those of the control group and lymphocytes numbers of DN group were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05 respectively);NLR values were significantly higher in diabetic nephropathy group compared with those of healthy control group(2.52±0.57 vs 1.82±0.60,t=6.997, P<0.01). Lo?gistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors of DN include NLR, TG and total cholesterol. NLR ( P <0.001, OR=8.951, OR 95%CI:3.595-22.287) was significantly associated with DN. Conclusion High NLR values may be a predic?tive and reliable marker ofearly-stage DN.

Objective To evaluate the effects of Chuanglingye decoction on angiogenesis and wound healing. Methods With a series of dosages of Chuanglingye decoction, their optimal effects of angiogenesis were searched for through the chicken embryo allantois membrane model(CAM). The vascular endothelial cell proliferation experiment (MTT) and the migration assay were used for the detection of effects. The gauze loading with Chuanglingye decoction of 0.2 ml as the experimental group and with saline of 0.2ml as the control group were applied on the total skin mechanical round wound of 1.5cm diameter and changed every other day. The sizes of area were detected on the day of 0,3,7,14 and 28 as well as the scores of inflammatory response, contains of TNF-αand Il-6 were detected on the day of 3 and 7. Results The CAM experiments showed that the angiogenic effects of 0.2 ml and 0.3 ml dosage of the Chuanglingye group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). The 0.2 ml dosage of Chuanglingye decoction was chosen for the further experiment. The HUVEC proliferation rate of the experimental group decreased 21%, as compared with the results of control group. The cell migration movement of 12 hours, 24 hours in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group. For theanimal experiments, the area sizes of the wound were similar in the experimental and control group without any significant differences. The scores of inflammatory response and contains of TNF-α(768±107)ng/L,(380±47)ng/L and Il-6(664±133)ng/L,(363±43)ng/L in the experimental group were significant decreased than those of the control group on the day of 3(958± 140)ng/L,(2215±314)ng/Land 7(512±62)ng/L,(1562±174)ng/L. Conclusion It showed that Chuanglingye decoction had negative effects on vascular endothelial cell migration and proliferation and thus inhibiting angiogenesis. These effects did not infer the process of the wound healing due to its ameliorating the inflammatory response which may be a help to wound healing.

		                        			OBJECTIVE:
To understand the usage of MP3 and effects on hearing of middle school students in Xi'an, and discuss controlling strategies.

		                        			METHOD:
Stratified random cluster sampling method was used in the 1567 middle school students in Xi'an through questionnaire survey, ear examination and hearing examination, data were analysed by the SPSS13.0 statistical software.

		                        			RESULT:
		                        			1) The rate of holding MP3 in the middle school students was 85.2%. Average daily use time was (1.41 +/- 1.11) h. 2) The noise group of pure tone hearing threshold was significantly higher compared with the control group (P<0.01), and increased the detection rate of hearing loss with the increasing use of MP3. 3) The detection rate of symptoms increased with the increasing use of MP3.

		                        			CONCLUSION
The usage of MP3 can harm hearing in middle school students, which can result in neurasthenic syndrome.

Although identification of water contact patterns is one of the most important factors for the prevention of Schistosoma japonicum infection, it is still insufficient for clarifying specific high-risk behaviors and their implications. Parasitological studies and behavioral observations were carried out in a rural village, the Dongting Lake region, China. A time-allocation study conducted by a time-saving spot-check method was implemented to quantify the behavioral risks. Of the 122 participants, 18 (14.8%; 95% confidence interval: 8.5, 21.0) were positive for S. japonicum. Among those diagnosed, the median (25−75% quartile) eggs per gram was 8 (8−16). A significant positive correlation with worm intensity was found among people who repair ships on the marshland (p&It;0.001), and this potential risk was consistent with previous suggestions. Although the parasitological techniques and study design require further improvements, our observational methods may be of use to explicitly identify behaviors at the local level that could be relevant to prevention.
