Objective:To investigate the application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in clinical staging and classification of adult Japanese encephalitis. Methods:The clinical data and craniocerebral MRI findings of 35 adult patients with Japanese encephalitis admitted in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from August to September 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. The MRI imaging characteristics were compared among patients with different stages and types, the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC value) of thalamic lesions in patients of different stages was analyzed. SPSS 23.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results:Six moderate cases all had lesions involving the thalamus, and the number of intracranial lesions was <2. In 11 severe cases, 8 had lesions involving thalamus and 5 had lesions involving hippocampus; the number of intracranial lesions was <2 in 3 cases, the number of intracranial lesions was 2-4 in 3 cases, and the number of intracranial lesions was >4 in 5 cases. In 18 cases critical cases, the lesions involved thalamic in 14 cases, hippocampus in 14 cases, cerebral cortex in 14 cases, cerebral feet in 9 cases, basal ganglia area in 6 cases, and brain stem in 2 cases, respectively; 2 cases had the intracranial lesions <2, 6 cases had intracranial lesions 2-4, 10 cases had intracranial lesions >4. In 11 preliminary stage patients, 9 cases had DWI high signal and 2 had FLAIR slightly high signal; in 19 extreme stage patients, 16 cases had DWI high signal, 11 cases had FLAIR slightly high signal, 3 cases had T1WI high signal and 6 cases had T2WI high signal. In 5 recovery stage patients, 1 case had DWI slightly high signal, 5 cases had FLAIR high signal, and 1 case had T2WI high signal. The ADC values of thalamic lesions in recovery and extreme patients were higher than those in the preliminary stage ( q=3.931 and 4.012, P<0.05). The ADC value of thalamic lesions in the recovery period was higher than that in the extreme period ( q=3.372, P<0.05). Conclusions:The number of lesions and the range of involvement are associated with disease severity in adult Japanese encephalitis. The DWI sequence is easy to detect at early stage, and the FLAIR sequence shows a long time span of lesions; and the DWI and FLAIR sequences are of great significance for the early clinical staging and classification of adult encephalitis patients. At the same time, the ADC value shows a trend of disease progresses, which can be used as a supplement for the clinical staging in adult encephalitis patients.

Objective:To explore the effect of parental rearing patterns and their consistency on the emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children. Methods:From October to November 2017, 27 987 children aged 3 to 6 years old from 109 kindergartens in 11 cities of Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu Provinces were selected by using the cluster sampling method. A total of 27 200 valid questionnaires which were completed by subjects' parents were collected. The emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children were collected by "strengths and difficulties questionnaire" and the parental rearing patterns were evaluated by the "Parental Behavior Scale". The differences in emotional and behavioral abnormality rates of preschool children with different characteristics were analyzed; with emotional and behavioral problems as dependent variables and parental support/participation and compulsion/hostility as independent variables, the multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the effect of parental rearing patterns and their consistency on the emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children. Results:The age of children was (4.35±0.96) years old, and 51.4% of children were 13 975 males. There were 24 634 (90.6%) urban children and 17 916 (65.9%) only children. Both parents with strong support/participation accounted for 14.9%, and those with poor support/participation accounted for 11.9%; both parents with strong compulsion/hostility accounted for 15.2%, and those with low compulsion/hostility accounted for 11.3%. The rates of emotional symptoms, conduct behavior, hyperactive behavior, peer interaction, total difficulty score, and abnormal prosocial behavior of preschool children were 9.5%, 9.5%, 18.2%, 24.5%, 11.2%, and 10.2%, respectively. The multivariate logistic regression model analysis showed that after adjusting for gender, only child, living area, family economic status, mother′s age and education level, father′s education level, and other factors, compared with fathers/mothers with strong support/participation and low compulsion/hostility and parents with strong support/participation and low compulsion/hostility, preschool children who had fathers/mothers with poor support/participation and strong compulsion/hostility or parents with poor support/participation and strong compulsion/hostility were more likely to have emotional symptoms, conduct behavior, hyperactive behavior, peer interaction, total difficulty score, and abnormal prosocial behavior ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Parental rearing patterns and their consistency are related to the emotional and behavioral problems of preschool children.

		                        			Methods:
Eight-week-old male C57BL/6 mice were divided into three groups (5 mice in each group): a control group (WT) with normal diet, a model group with amiodarone 150mg/kg/d by oral gavage (AM), and an intervention group on amiodarone 150mg/kg/d combined with silybin-phospholipid complex(AM+SILIPHOS. All mice were fed their assigned diet for one week. Then, one week later, serum alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, triglyceride, total cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein were detected of each group. A liver pathological change was observed by oil red O and H&E staining. Ultrastructural pathological changes of hepatocytes were observed to evaluate the intervention effect by transmission electron microscopy. RT-q PCR was used to detect the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha and its regulated lipid metabolism genes CPTI, CPTII, Acot1, Acot2, ACOX, Cyp4a10 and Cyp4a14 in liver tissues. Intra-group comparison was done by paired t-test. One-way ANOVA was used for comparison between groups and semi-quantitative data were tested using Mann-Whitney U test.

		                        			Results:
Oil Red O and H&E staining results of liver tissue in the intervention group showed that intrahepatic steatosis was significantly reduced when compared to model group. Transmission electron microscopy showed that the model group had pyknotic nuclei, mitochondrial swelling, structural damage, and lysosomal degradation whereas the intervention group had hepatic nucleus without pyknosis, reduced mitochondrial swelling and slight structural damage than that of model group. RT-q PCR results showed that the expression of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha, CPTI, CPTII, Acot1, Acot2, ACOX, Cyp4a10 and Cyp4a14 were increased in the model group but the expression of CPTI, Cyp4a14, Acot1 and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha were decreased in the intervention group (

The symptom and syndrome score of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Barthel Index (BI) were observed before and after treatment, and the clinical efficacies and relapse rates were compared.Result The symptom and syndrome score of TCM, NIHSS score, and BI score were significantly different from that before treatment in both groups (P<0.01). The changes of the TCM symptom and syndrome score, NIHSS score, and BI score in the treatment group were significantly different from that in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate was 88.2% in the treatment group versus 69.2% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Four cases in the treatment group got relapsed, accounting for 7.8%; 7 cases got relapsed in the control group, accounting for 13.5%. There was no significant difference in comparing the relapse rate between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application is an effective method in treating stroke due to qi deficiency and blood stagnation.
