Objective:To observe the effects of muscle regions of meridians needling method combined with auricular point sticking on pain and lumbar range of motion in patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain. Methods:A total of 100 patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 50 patients in each group.Both groups received auricular point sticking treatment,while the control group received additional conventional acupuncture treatment,and the observation group received additional muscle regions of meridians needling method.The total effective rate of the two groups was compared after 4 weeks of treatment.Before treatment and after 1 week and 4 weeks of treatment,the visual analog scale(VAS)score was used to assess the degree of low back pain,and the modified-modified Schober(MMS)score was used to evaluate the lumbar range of motion. Results:There was statistical significance in comparing the total effective rate between the two groups(P<0.01).During the treatment process,as the number of treatments increased,the VAS score gradually decreased,and the MMS score gradually increased in both groups.After 1 week and 4 weeks of treatment,the VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01),and the MMS score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.01).During the treatment period,no serious adverse reactions occurred in either group. Conclusion:Based on auricular point sticking treatment,muscle regions of meridians needling method is more effective than conventional acupuncture in treating chronic nonspecific low back pain since it is able to significantly reduce the pain and improve the lumbar range of motion.

Objective To prospectively investigate laryngoscopy-assisted CO2 laser in the treatment of glottic laryngeal carcinoma.Methods 97 patients with early glottic laryngeal carcinoma in our hospital were selected and divided into control group (n =48) and observation group (n =49) according to random number table.The control group was treated with partial laryngectomy and the observation group was treated with laryngoscopy-assisted CO2 laser.The clinical efficacy,serum level of α1-acid glycoprotein (α1-AG) and ceruloplasmin (CER) after 10 min of the surgery and changes of the indicators of voice function [fundamental frequency jitter (jitter),the longest sound time (MPT),sound pressure level (SPL)] were observed and compared between the two groups,and the incidence of complications and quality of life (QOL) scores were statistically compared.Results The total remission rate in the observation group was 79.59％ (39/49),which was higher than that in the control group 56.25％ (27/48),with statistically significant difference (x2 =6.075,P =0.014).The levels of serum α1-AG and CER in the observation group 10 min after surgery were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant difference (t =2.641,P =0.010,t =31.242,P =0.000).From 2 weeks after surgery to 3 months after surgery,SPL and MPT of two groups decreased first and then increased;Jitter increased first and then decreased,and the changing amplitude in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group,with statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.04％ (1/49),which was lower than that in the control group 16.67％ (8/48),with statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05);3 months after surgery,the QOL score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,with statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Supporting laryngoscope CO2 laser surgery can improve stress state and quality of life of early glottic laryngeal cancer patients,and the incidence of complications is low.It has little effect on voice function.

Objective To develop Community Home Mutual Pension Demand Scale and test its validity and reliability.Methods Firstly,the theoretical dimension of Community Home Mutual Pension Demand Scale was constructed by means of literature analysis and resident interview.Secondly,the scale with five dimensions containing 29 items was formed after small range of questionnaire survey.Finally,the data from 384 elderly people in 4 communities of Hengyang city were analyzed by using SPSS17.0 and AMOS17.0 to test its validity and reliability.Results The model consisted of 4 dimensions and 21 items,which explained 69.911％ of the total variance.x2/df=2.097,Tac ker Lewis index (TLI)=0.959,non normed fit index (NNFI)=0.959,relative fit index (RFI)=0.924,goodness-of-fit index(GFI)=0.921,comparative fit index (CFI)=0.966,normed fit index (NFI)=0.938,incremental fit index (IFI)=0.967,root-mean square error of approximation(RMSEA)=0.054;Cronbach α of the total scale was 0.932,Cronbach α of each dimension was 0.801-0.954.The correlation coefficient between dimensions was 0.241-0.592,P＜0.01.Conclusions The scale has good reliability and validity in the measurement of the mutual pension demand of elderly.

Objective To evaluate advantages and disadvantages of different pacing modes of cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT).Methods Twelve dogs with heart failure were performed in every dog at random,and the pacing modes employed in the test included right atrium-different sites of ventricle,and ventricular sites included right ventricular bifocal (RV-Bi),biventricular (Bi-V),left ventricular (LV).The pacing frequency was 180 times per minute,and the results were measured before pacing and after 15 minutes when the pacing became stable in Color Doppler echocardiography,including left ventricular enddiastolic diameter (LVEDd),left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),interventricular mechanical delay (IVMD),interventricular septum and left ventricular posterior wall motion delay (SPWMD),left ventricular 12-segment peak time standard deviation (Ts-SD).Results (1)Compared with before pacing,at the RV-Bi,Bi-V,and LV pacing modes,LVEDd,IVMD,SPWMD,and Ts-SD decreased,LVEF increased,the difference was statistically significant [(42.42 ± 3.94) mm vs (34.00 ± 4.07) mm,(34.17 ± 3.95)mm,(33.75 ±4.18)mm; (28.08 ±4.01)mm vs (13.00 ±3.64) mm,(11.95 ±2.54)mm,(12.08 ±3.51) mm; (75.00 ± 10.22)mm vs (51.75 ±9.84) mm,(20.66 ±7.41) mm,(20.75 ±7.56) mm; (25.08±4.16)mm vs (14.91 ± 3.31)mm,(7.50 ±4.24) mm,(7.41 ±3.39)mm;(32.91 ±4.46)mm vs (41.50 ±4.16)mm,(42.00 ±4.63) mm,(42.41 ±4.99)mm,P ＜0.05].(2)Compared with RV-Bi pacing mode,at the Bi-V,LV pacing modes,SPWMD and Ts-SD decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P ＜ 0.05); there was no significant difference among LVEDd,IVMD,and LVEF (P ＞0.05).(3)There was no significant difference in LVEDd,IVMD,SPWMD,Ts-SD and LVEF between LV and Bi-V pacing (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions The hemodynamic effects of RV-Bi and LV pacing modes were similar to that of Bi-V pacing,and they can be used as CRT biventricular pacing alternative modes; however,the mechanisms of improving ventricular synchronization are not identical in above pacing modes.

Objective To know about the state of the elderly' health and their family function and their relationship in the pension institutions so as to provide the basis of promoting the eldedy' health status for the nurses in the pension institutions.Methods Two hundred and sixty elderly were investigated according to their perceived health status and family function with self-rated health measurement scale and APGER in the pension institutions in Hengyang city,and data were analyzed.Results The average selfrated health score of the elderly in pension institutions was (243.95±64.13),accounted for 55.44% of the total.The score of family function was (5.64±2.57),accounted for 56.40% of the total.The score of dimensions of family function was positively correlated with the total score of self-rated health score,mental health and social health.Conclusions The total score of self-rated health score of the elderly in pension institutions is a little lower.A majority of the elderly has different levels of family function disorder,the effect of family function on the elderly' s mental health and social health is bigger than that of the elderly' s physical health.

Objective To investigate the self perceived health status of the eMerly in nursing home of Hengyang and analyze the related factors. Methods 200 elderly were investigated on their perceived health status by self- rated health measurement scale. Data were analyzed by statistical package for the social science (SPSS)13.0 version. Results Mean score of self- perceived health condition of the elderly was (231.79± 59.71 ),just 40.5% of them believed that their health status was at high level. There were significant differences in self-perceived health status between the elderly with different age, reason for admission, check-in time, self-care abihty, interests and the number of visits. There were no significant differences in self- perceived health status between the elderly with different genders, education, marriage status, occupation. Conclusions The health level of the elderly is low in Hengyang. Nurses should make full use of all the society strength to provide substance, psychological and social supports to impreve health level of the elderly.

ObjectiveTo study the effects of using bilingual education among different nursing undergraduates in the Nursing Fundamentals, and then make out some proper education pattern. Methods Bilingual education has been implemented for one year in the course of Nursing Fundamentals among 82 nursing undergraduates who have graduated from high school and 81 nursing undergraduates who have graduated from hygiene school in 2003 degree. Results There were significant difference between two kinds of nursing undergraduates in the passed rate of CET 4, P0.05. Conclusion The bilingual education can be implemented in the different nursing undergraduates.
