Promoting the construction of a “Healthy China” is essential to building a great modern socialist country. Health workers in every era have their historical missions and they are the “benevolent doctors” of their own era. Therefore, clarifying the basic connotation and times requirements of “benevolent doctors” has become the first question to be answered in cultivating “benevolent doctors”. The basic connotation of “benevolent doctor” should reflect not only the comprehensive development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education in fostering virtue and nurturing talents, but also embody the people-centered development philosophy, promote social equity and justice, and reflect the strategic needs of building a “Healthy China.” Specifically in the practice of medical education, emphasizing both medical science spirit and medical humanities spirit has become an important path to cultivate “benevolent doctors” in the new era.

Objective To with analyzing the gene expression profile of idiopathic non-cirrhotic portal hypertension(INCPH)by bioinformatics methods,we may obtain its key genes and signaling pathways to explore the molecular mechanism of INCPH and predict the potential traditional Chinese medicine. Methods The gene microarray dataset GSE77627 on INCPH was downloaded from gene expression omnibus(GEO)database, the data were normalized and screened for differential genes(DEGs)of INCPH using R language, and all DEGs were analyzed for gene ontology(GO)and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)enrichment using Metascape database, and protein-protein interaction network was constructed by STRING database;meanwhile DEGs with the top 15 Degree values were screened as key genes using CytoHubba plugin.Subsequently, the key genes were mapped to each other with the medical ontology information retrieval platform(coremine medical)to screen potential Chinese herbal medicines for the treatment of INCPH with P<0.05,and the potent components that potential Chinese medicines have were screened from the TCMSP database, imported into Cytoscape software to construct a Chinese medicine correlation network map and predict the key targets. Results A total of 1880 DEGs were screened, including 1061 up-regulated and 819 down-regulated genes.DEGs were analyzed using the protein interaction database STRING and cytoHubba in Cytoscape software to obtain key genes, which were RPS27A,CDC42,EIF4E,MAPK1,PIK3R1,RPS6,RPS9,RPS8,RPL15,RPL27A,RPL24,RPL27,RPL26,RPL12 and MAPK14.The GO and KEGG analysis mainly involved gamete production and AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in INCPH.Conclusion The potential traditional Chinese medicines screened for INCPH are Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma,Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma,Scutellariae Radix, etc, which may be a potential source of molecular drugs for the treatment of INCPH.

Using China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, and PubMed database, literature search was conducted with the keywords “pregnancy” and “monkeypox”, and 27 related research articles were selected for analysis. Through a comprehensive review of the related literature, we aim to improve our knowledge of this viral disease, better our prevention, treatment and responses to future monkeypox outbreaks in China, so as to better protect the safety of mothers and infants. Maternal monkeypox can be prevented and controlled, if active and effective measures are taken in time. Drawing on the experience and lessons from monkeypox outbreaks at home and abroad, it is suggested that hospitals and public health agencies at all levels should raise awareness, and establish an effective emergency preparedness system for the prevention and control of potential future outbreaks.

Objective To investigate whether prophylactic anticoagulation therapy can reduce the risk of postoperative complications in patients with primary liver cancer(PLC)after hepatectomy, and to explore the influencing factors of postoperative complications. Methods The clinical data of 495 patients undergoing hepatectomy for PLC in The Third Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University(Second Military Medical University)from Feb.2019 to May 2021 were collected. The patients were divided into anticoagulation group(n=287,receiving prophylactic low-molecular-weight heparin after surgery)and conventional treatment group(n=208).The postoperative complications were compared between the 2 groups, and the influencing factors were analyzed using logistic regression model. Results The postoperative overall complication incidence of the 495 patients after hepatectomy was 30.7%(152/495),ranking as infection(9.1%,45/495),acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS;6.5%,32/495),bleeding(6.3%,31/495),post-hepatectomy liver failure(PHLF;6.1%,30/495),and venous thromboembolism(VTE;2.8%,14/495).The incidence rates of postoperative VTE,ARDS,and PHLF were significantly lower in the anticoagulation group than those in the conventional treatment group(1.4%[4/287]vs 4.8%[10/208],3.8%[11/287]vs 10.1%[21/208],and 3.8%[11/287]vs 9.1%[19/208];all P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative bleeding between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, portal hypertension, and tumor number were independent risk factors for postoperative VTE;portal hypertension, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative blood transfusion, and preoperative procalcitonin(PCT)were independent risk factors for PHLF;ascites and preoperative bilirubin were independent risk factors for ARDS;and postoperative prophylactic anticoagulation was an independent protective factor for VTE and ARDS(all P<0.05).Conclusion Prophylactic anticoagulation can reduce the risks of VTE,PHLF,and ARDS in PLC patients after hepatectomy, without increasing the risk of postoperative bleeding.Age,portal hypertension, number of tumors, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative blood transfusion, ascites, preoperative PCT,and preoperative bilirubin are risk factors for postoperative complications of PLC patients after hepatectomy.
