1.Policy analysis of high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine based on PMC index model

OBJECTIVE To provide reference for the optimization of development policy of traditional Chinese medicine. METHODS ROSTCM text mining analysis software was adopted to screen the literature preliminarily ,the PMC policy index model was built ,and the results by PMC index and visual PMC surface were analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS A total of 33 policies related to traditional Chinese medicine were included ,and 10 primary variables and 46 secondary variables were set. The average PMC index of 33 policies was 6.15,of which 2 were excellent policies and the rest were good policies. Among the primary variables ,the scores of policy openness ,policy evaluation and policy field were relatively high ,while the scores of release time ,policy level and policy type were low. The analysis of sink index and secondary variables showed that the macro planning of national policies was not specific enough in terms of policy objectives and contents ,with low score ,while the local policies were usually planned in detail. Generally speaking ,there is still much room for improvement in the policies related to the development of traditional Chinese medicine in terms of policy system construction ,government investment ,talent construction , financing supporting policies ,market access rules ,responsible subjects and legal guarantee.
2.Study on the current situation and optimal paths of "physical-medical integration" talents training

At present, four operating modes have been explored for physical-medical integration in China: hospital health guidance center, sports club health guidance, community health monitoring center and industry-university-research cooperation on the integration of physical and medical services. However, physical-medical integration is still in its infancy, the cultivation of physical-medical integration talents has been a key to the deep development of "physical-medical integration". The researches show that the current training mode of integrative talents mainly focuses on on-the-job training, which is faced with many problems such as serious shortage of specialized talents, imperfect certification system and single talent training mode. It is suggested that the training system, the curriculum system, the public opinion system and the professional standards should be improved so as to realize the scientific and sustainable development of physical-medical talents.
3.Safety and early curative efficacy of lipocyte bioactive secretion in preventing white matter injury of premature infants

Objective To explore the safety and efficacy of intrathecal administration of adipose stem cells de-rived from bioactive secretome (ASCBS)in treatment of whiter matter injury (WMI)in the preterm infants. Methods Sixty - three cases of WMI were recruited according to the uniform standards from multiple medical centers and they were divided into 3 gestational age (GA)subgroups,which were 21 cases in group A (GA 24 - 28 + 6 ),20 cases in group B (GA 29 - 32 + 6 ),and 22 cases in group C (GA 33 - 36 + 6 ). The patients were randomly divided into treatment groups and control groups by tossing coins. The treatment groups received lumbar puncture followed with ASCBS intra-thecal injection once daily for 3 consecutive days. Follow - up study included Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assess-ment (NBNA)at term - equivalent age and neurodevelopment at corrected age of 6 - month. Neurodevelopment was assessed by using the Bayley Scales of Infant Development and Peabody Developmental Motor Scale. The survival rates, NBNA scores,mental development index (MDI),psychomotor develop index (PDI),total motor development quotient, gross motor development quotient and fine motor development among each subgroup were compared. Results Sixty -three cases were recruited,including 31 in the treatment group and 32 in the control group. Only 1 case in the treatment groups lost in the follow - up. No clinical side effects were found in the treatment groups. There was no significant diffe-rence in the survival rate and complication in the preterms in all subgroups of the treatment group and control group (all P > 0. 05). The gross and total motor development quotient in the treatment group A was higher than that in the control group A(gross motor development quotient:98. 330 ± 6. 282 in treatment group A,90. 330 ± 3. 777 in control group A, P = 0. 040;total motor development quotient:97. 330 ± 4. 803 in treatment group A,91. 000 ± 4. 472 in control group A,P = 0. 023). The rest findings showed no significant difference between groups. Conclusion The treatment of WMI in preterm infants with ASCBS is safe and can promote the motor development of preterm infants with GA in 24 - 28 weeks.
4.Disease burden of stomach cancer in the Chinese population, in 1990 and 2013

Objective To analyze the national and provincial disease burden on stomach cancer in the Chinese population,in 1990 and 2013.Methods Data related to province-specific burden of disease in China was used to analyze the standardized incidence and mortality of stomach cancer in 2013.Parameters as incidence,mortality,disability-adjusted life years (DALY),years of life lost due to premature mortality (YLL) and years lived with disability (YLD) on stomach cancer in China in 1990 and 2013,were analyzed while the standardized incidence and mortality of stomach cancer in 1990 and 2013 and the changing patterns in each province were described.Results In 2013,there were 371 100 new cases of stomach cancer and 317 800 cases died from stomach cancer in China.Figures on the standardized incidence (26.84/100 000),mortality rate (23.55/100 000) and DALY rate (464.47/100 000) all increased with age.Between 1990 and 2013,the standardized incidence rates in men were all higher than that in women (2.03-2.67 times) but both showed a decreasing trend.Under the reported figures,317 800 people died from stomach cancer in 2013,with an increase of 13.15%.The number of deaths was 182 700,in 1990.From 1990 to 2013,the standardized mortality rate,DALY and DALY rate decreased in both genders,with more seen in women than in men.The top three provinces that having the highest stomach cancer standardized incidences and mortality in 2013 were Qinghai,Anhui,Gansu.The top three provinces with the most reduction of figures appeared in Tianjin,Shanghai and Zhejiang.Compared with those in 1990,the standardized mortality decreased in all the provinces,in 2013.Conclusions The disease burden of stomach cancer in China remained at high level in 2013.Compared with those in 1990,the disease burden of stomach cancer decreased in 2013.The standardized mortality of stomach cancer in all the provinces had decreased but the provincial differences still existed.
5.Burden of disease of colorectal cancer in the Chinese population, in 1990 and 2013

Objective To analyze the disease burden of colorectal cancer in the Chinese people in 1990 and 2013.Methods Data from the estimation of 2013 Chinese Sub-national Burden of Disease Study was used,to analyze the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer in China,in 1990 and 2013,among all the Chinese people.Data on the years of lifte lost due to premature mortality (YLL),years lived with disability (YLD) and disability-adjusted life years (DALY) of colorectal cancer in China,in 1990 and 2013 was also used.Related death rates,DALY and DALY rates were compared.Results The standardized incidence rate of colorectal cancer among Chinese people increased by 66.83% from 12.15/100 000 in 1990 to 20.27/100 000 in 2013 (72.82% for men and 55.26% for women).The standardized mortality rate of colorectal cancer increased by 4.73% from 10.57/100 000 in 1990 to 11.07/100 000 in 2013 (with 9.03% increase for men but 3.12% decrease for women).A total number of 148 000 people died from colorectal cancer in 2013,with an increase of 90.08% (105.36% for men and 72.14% for women) compared with the number of 77 900,in 1990.Related data on DALY,YLL and YLD due to colorectal cancer appeared as 3 331.6 thousand person years,3 200.7 thousand person years and 130.9 thousand person years,respectively in 2013,with YLL as the vast majority of DALY.Compared with 2 019.1 thousand person years in 1990,DALY showed an increase of 65.01% in 2013.However,the standardized DALY rate reduced by 6.00% from 238.54/100 000 in 1990 to 224.23/100 000 in 2013.Parameters as the mortality rotes,DALY and DALY rates appeared all higher in men than in women,in every age group.Conclusions The disease burden of colorectal cancer in China remained at high levels in 2013.Compared with the data in 1990,the total disease burden on colorectal cancer showed an increase while the DALY rate and YLL rate showed a decline in 2013.
6.Study of Exercise-induced Fatigue Rat Model Established by Different Periodical Swimming Training Based on Evaluation of Liver Function

Objective To study the influence of swimming training for different periods on rat liver function, and to evaluate the quality of exercise-induced fatigue rat model established by swimming training for different periods. Methods Forty SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, namely blank group, and 7-, 14-, 21-and 28-day exercise groups, 8 rats in each group. Rats in the blank group were fed with normal diet, but were not given exercise training. The other groups were given exercise training for 7, 14, 21 and 28 days respectively, two times a day, 15 minutes every time and with 10-minute resting interval between the two times. At the last day of the experiment, all rats were executed by neck dislocation for the sampling of blood and liver tissues, and then the serum contents of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) were determined. And the contents of total anti-oxidization capacity (T-AOC), malondialdehyde (MDA), lactic acid (LA), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and glucose (Glu) in liver tissues were also examined. Results Compared with the blank group, the contents of ALT and AST were increased in 7-, 14-, 21-, and 28-day exercise groups, especially in 21-and 28-day exercise groups (P<0.01) . The contents of T-AOC and MDA were increased in 7-, 14-, 21-, and 28-day exercise groups (P<0.01), the effects on T-AOC in the 21-and 28-day exercise groups and on MDA in the 28-day exercise group being more obvious (P<0.05 or P<0.01) . The LA content and LDH activity were increased and the glycogen was decreased in the liver tissues of 7-, 14-, 21-, and 28-day exercise groups, and the increase of LA content in 21- and 28-day exercise groups and that of LDH activity in 28-day exercise groups were more significant ( P<0.05 or P<0.01). The hepatic glycogen content in 14-, 21-, and 28-day exercise groups were lower than that in the other groups (P<0.01). Conclusion With hepatic function injury in exercise-induced fatigue as the criteria, the exercise-induced fatigue rat model has been successfully established in this study, and the model established by swimming training for 21 and 28 days is more steady.

This article pointed out that G uang-dong Chinese patent medicines manufacturing implementation patent strategy faced huge opportunities and chal-lenges. It was suggested that the fully understanding, mastering and using of beneficial conditions as well as con-trolling and eliminating the adverse factors will contribute to the better implementation of Chinese patent medicines manufacturing patent strategy in G uangdong province .
8.Expression of nerve growth factor p75 receptor and sortilin in the skin fibroblasts and scar fibroblasts

BACKGROUND: Previous studies have found that nerve growth factors play an important role in the process of wound healing, but there is less research for the low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor p75 and sortilin in fibroblasts, and no reports on whether there are differences in expression of p75 and sortilin in the scar fibroblasts and normal skin fibroblasts. OBJECTIVE: To study the expression of low-affility nerve growth factor receptor p75 and sortilin in the normal human skin fibroblasts and the human keloid fibroblasts. METHODS: The keloid fibroblasts and normal hunman skin fibroblasts were cultured in vitro, and the immortalized epithelial cells HaCaT were used as the positive control. The real-time PCR was used to detect the mRNA expression of the p75 and sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and western blot and immunocytochemical staining were used to detect the protein expression of p75 and sortilin. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The real-time PCR and western blot results showed that in the protein and mRNA levels, p75 and sortilin showed positive expression in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and there was no significant difference in the expression of p75 between keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and the expressions of p75 and sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts were significantly lower than those in HaCaT. There was no significant difference of p75 expression between keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts, and the expression of sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts was significantly lower than that in the normal human skin fibroblasts (P < 0.05). Immunocytochemical staining result showed that the expression of p75 and sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts and normal human skin fibroblasts were distributed in the membrane and cytoplasm. Precursor nerve growth factor combined with high-affinity p75 receptor could promote the apoptosis of the cells with the help of sortilin, and the expression of sortilin in the keloid fibroblasts was significantly lower than that in the normal human skin fibroblasts, which may associated with the high proliferation of the keloid fibroblasts. The results provide a new target for the prevention and treatment of pathological scars.

The paper summarized the successful experience such as preliminarily establishing cultivation mechanism of manufacture-learning-research cooperation for postgraduates of science of Chinese pharmacology of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine,ensuring innovation ability training for postgraduates,getting reasonable configuration for social education resources,and put forward existing problems in traditional Chinese medicine system,such as the loose management and faulty evalution system.Suggestion is to futher perfect relevant rules and regulations,clear and definite responsibility of school and enterprise,reserch regularly to impove ideological education of postgraduates,etc.In the way,we can achieve the aim of promoting high-level talents of traditional Chinese medicine industry.
10.A social survey and analysis of setting up the new subject of physical education in Chinese Medicine colleges

Objective To investigate into social cognition of new subject physical education in Chinese Medicine colleges and to find out existing issues and institutes strategy to solve them. Methods Questionnaire and analysis of documents and telephonic interview were adopted. Results Society needs a large number of graduates who have solid knowledge of health protection and a good command of methods of preseving health and keeping fit and at the same time requires them to go in for teaching athletics, training and organizing games. New subject Physical Education has some advantages,and there are also lots of difficulties. Conclusions Course setting should be sptimized, practical teaching should be strengthened and publicized to ensure that the cultivation of talents meets the need of society.
