1.A Randomized Controlled Trial of Stone Needle Thermocompression and Massage for Treating Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain in the Shoulder and Back:A Secondary Analysis of Muscle Elasticity as a Mediator

		                        			ObjectiveTo evaluate the effectiveness of stone needle thermocompression and massage compared to flurbiprofen gel patch in relieving chronic musculoskeletal pain in the shoulder and back, and to explore the potential mediating mechanism through muscle elasticity. MethodsA total of 120 patients with chronic musculoskeletal pain in the shoulder and back were randomly assigned to either stone needle group or flurbiprofen group, with 60 patients in each. The stone needle group received stone needle thermocompression and massage for 30 minutes, three times per week; the flurbiprofen group received flurbiprofen gel patch twice daily. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. Pain improvement, as the primary outcome, was assessed using the Global Pain Scale (GPS) at baseline, after 2 weeks of treatment, and again 2 weeks post-treatment. To explore potential mechanisms, a mediator analysis was conducted by measuring changes in superficial and deep muscle elasticity using musculoskeletal ultrasound at baseline and after the 2-week treatment period. ResultsThe stone needle group showed significantly greater pain relief than the flurbiprofen group 2 weeks post-treatment. After adjusting for confounders related to pain duration, the between-group mean difference was -8.8 [95% CI (-18.2, -0.7), P<0.05]. Part of the therapeutic effect was mediated by changes in deep muscle elasticity, with a mediation effect size of -1.5 [95% CI (-2.0, -0.9), P = 0.024], accounting for 17.9% of the total effect. ConclusionStone needle thermocompression and massage can effectively relieve chronic musculoskeletal pain in the shoulder and back, partly through a mediating effect of improved deep muscle elasticity. 
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
2.Thin layer chromatography quantitative analysis on gallic acid in Galla Chinensis based on image analysis technology

		                        			Objectives:To discuss the feasibility of Image J in quantitative analysis on thin layer chromatography (TLC) using gallic acid in Galla Chinensis as research object.Methods:Silica gel GF 254 thin-layer plate was used with chloroform-ethyl formate-formic acid (5:5:1) as the developing solvent and the images were taken under ultraviolet light (254 nm). Polyamide film was used with 75% ethanol-glacial acetic acid (50:1) as the developing solvent and 1% ferric chloride ethanol solution as the chromogenic reagent, and the images were taken under sunlight. Images obtained from the above conditions were imported into Image J to analyze and calculate the content of gallic acid in Galla Chinensis by using external standard two-point method. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used with a mobile phase of methanol-0.1% phosphoric acid solution (15:85) at a wavelength of 273 nm to determine the gallic acid content in Galla Chinensis. Results:The quantitation limit of gallic acid on silica gel GF 254 thin-layer plate was 0.401 6 μg, the linear range was 2.855 - 9.515 μg ( r2 = 0.996 0), and the average recovery was 105.12% ( RSD=3.48%); the quantitation limit of gallic acid on polyamide film was 0.363 4 μg, the linear range was 1.427 - 4.758 μg ( r2 = 0.991 5), and the average recovery was 103.75% ( RSD=4.60%). The HPLC method had a quantitative limit of 4.42 ng, a linear range of 0.122-0.977 μg ( r2 = 0.999 9), and a recovery rate of 98.30% ( RSD = 1.40%). The accuracy, repeatability and stability of RSD were all <5%. The gallic acid content measured using Image J showed a maximum relative error of 9.30% and a minimum of 1.62% compared to the HPLC results. Conclusions:Image J is feasible for quantitative analysis of TLC and can be used as a complementary method for quality control of Chinese materia medica.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
3.Association between visceral fat area measured with quantitative CT and fatty liver in normal weight population

		                        			Objective:To analyze the association between visceral fat area (VFA) and fatty liver based on quantitative CT (QCT) in people receiving health examination with normal body mass index (BMI).Methods:A cross-sectional study. A total of 1 305 physical examiners who underwent chest CT and QCT examination in the Department of Health Management of Henan Provincial People′s Hospital from January to December 2021 were retrospectively selected as subjects. The physical components at the central level of the lumbar two cone were measured with QCT, including subcutaneous fat area (SFA), VFA and liver fat content (LFC). And the metabolic indexes, such as blood lipids and blood glucose, were collected. The t-test and χ2 test were used to analyze the correlation between the detection rate of fatty live and LFCr and age and gender. According to level of VFA (<100 cm 2, 100-150 cm 2 and≥150 cm 2), the subjects were divided into three groups, and one-way ANOVA and χ2 test were used in comparison between groups. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the correlation between VFA and metabolic indexes and LFC. Results:Of the 1 305 subjects, there were 634 males and 671 females. The detection rate of fatty liver in normal BMI population was 65.67%, and it was 72.71% and 59.02% respectively in men and women ( χ2=27.12, P<0.001), and the detection rate of fatty liver and LFC increased with age (both P<0.05). With the increase of VFA, the age, BMI, SFA, LFC, total cholesterol (TC), triacylglycerol (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting blood glucose (FBG), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), blood uric acid and prevalence of fatty liver increased (all P<0.05), and the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) decreased ( P<0.001). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that after adjustment for age factors, regardless of male or female, LFC was independently positively related with VFA, BMI, and ALT (male β=0.206, 0.145, 0.174, female β=0.194, 0.150, 0.184; all P<0.05). FBG was positively correlated with male independently ( β=0.134; P<0.001). The indicators related to female independently were TC, TG, and blood uric acid ( β=-0.121, 0.145, 0.141, all P<0.05) Conclusion:In the population receiving health examination with normal BMI, the VFA measured by QCT technique is closely related to fatty liver.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
4.Real-World Study on the Clinical Efficacy of Different Medication Regimens of Wangbi Tablet (尪痹片) in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis

		                        			ObjectiveTo investigate the differences in clinical efficacy of different medication regimens of Wangbi Tablets (尪痹片) for knee osteoarthritis (KOA) in a real-world setting, providing a basis for rational clinical use of Wangbi Tablets. MethodsA prospective registry study was conducted, involving 2,999 KOA patients registered in 30 hospitals nationwide from January 26th, 2019, to December 17th, 2021. Based on the use of Wangbi Tablets during the observation period, patients were divided into a monotherapy group (1,507 cases) and a combination therapy group (1,492 cases), and the combination group can be further divided into Wangbi Tablets plus Chinese medicine (CM), Wangbi Tablets plus western medicine (WM), and Wangbi Tablets plus Chinese and western medicine (CM+WM) subgroups. The baseline data of patients in the monotherapy group and the combination group were compared, including age, gender, body weight, medication time, clinical stage, K-L grade, and others. Efficacy indicators included the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score, Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) score, and EuroQol five-dimensional (EQ-5D) health index, which were evaluated before and after 4-, 8- and 12-week treatment, and the difference before and after treatment was calculated after 4, 8 and 12 weeks of treatment. The difference between the baseline and 12 weeks of treatment of all the above indicators was used as the dependent variables, and gender, age, body mass index (BMI), course of disease, K-L grade, and clinical stage were used as independent variables, when multiple linear regression was taken to explore the influencing factors of the efficacy. At the same time, the occurrence of major symptoms (including morning stiffness, joint swelling, soreness of waist and knees, fear of wind, and fear of cold) was counted, and the disappearance of symptoms at each time point was counted after 4, 8, and 12 weeks of treatment. ResultsAt baseline, there were no statistically significant differences in gender and age distribution between the monotherapy and combination therapy groups (P>0.05); the proportion of patients in the acute stage and recovery stage was higher in the monotherapy group than in the combination therapy group, while the proportion in the remission stage was lower (P<0.05); the VAS score was higher in the monotherapy group, and the EQ-5D index was lower (P<0.01), with no statistically significant difference in total WOMAC score between the two groups (P>0.05). Compared to those measured before treatment and at previous timepoint, the VAS score and WOMAC total score significantly decreased in both groups, while EQ-5D value increased (P<0.05). The difference in VAS score between baseline and after 12-week treatment was higher in the monotherapy group than the combination group, while the differences in WOMAC total score and EQ-5D value between baseline and after 4-, 8- and 12-week treatment were higher in the combination group (P<0.05). Multiple linear regression showed that VAS score before treatment had greatest impact on pain improvement (P<0.01), and compared to Wangbi Tablets monotherapy, the combination of Wangbi tablets with WM or CM had larger associations with pain improvement (P<0.05); and Wangbi Tablets had better efficacy when the course of treatment was >28 days (P<0.01). Wangbi Tablets plus WM had a better effect on improving the overall function of the knee joint than Wangbi Tablets alone (P<0.01); and the efficacy of Wangbi Tablets with a course of treatment >28 days was better (P<0.05). The improvement of quality of life of patients in the attack and remission stages was more obvious than that in the recovery stage (P<0.01); Wangbi Tablets plus WM or CM had a better effect on improving quality of life than Wangbi Tablets alone (P<0.05). Before treatment, the proportion of patients with morning stiffness, soreness of waist and knees, fear of wind and chills in the monotherapy group was higher than that in the combination group (P<0.01). The proportion of main symptoms in both groups decreased after 4, 8 and 12 weeks of treatment (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, the disappearance rate of each main symptom in the combination group was higher than that in the monotherapy group, and after 12 weeks of treatment, the disappearance rate of fear of wind in the monotherapy group was higher than that in the combination group, while the disappearance rate of joint swelling and soreness of waist and knees was lower (P<0.05). ConclusionWangbi Tablets, whether used alone or in combination with other medications, is effective throughout the course of KOA, with greater benefits in improving joint function and quality of life during the acute and remission stages compared to the recovery stage. Combination therapy had a faster onset of effect, but began to converge with monotherapy after 8 weeks. 5.Effects of dyslipidemia and obesity on high-risk prostate cancer

		                        			[Objective] To explore the effects of dyslipidemia and obesity on high-risk prostate cancer, so as to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer. [Methods] The clinical data of 175 patients with prostate cancer admitted to our hospital during Jun.2016 and Jun.2022 were retrospectively analyzed, including 122 high-risk prostate cancer and 53 non-high-risk prostate cancer.The logistic regression analysis were conducted to identify independent risk factors affecting the occurrence of high-risk prostate cancer.Evaluate the predictive value and optimal cutoff value of risk factors such as age, cholesterol, body mass index (BMI), and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) for the occurrence of high-risk prostate cancer through receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves.Spearman analysis was used to investigate the correlation between Gleason scores and different risk factors. [Results] The age, BMI, cholesterol, PSA, incidence of obesity (BIM≥25) and high cholesterol in the high-risk prostate cancer group were all higher than those in the non-high-risk prostate cancer group (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression showed that age (OR=1.097, 95%CI: 1.005-1.198, P=0.039), obesity (OR=4.459, 95%CI: 1.305-15.239, P=0.017), PSA (OR=1.170, 95%CI: 1.069-1.280, P=0.001), and cholesterol (OR=5.544, 95%CI: 1.304-23.577, P=0.020) were risk factors for high-risk prostate cancer.The ROC curve showed that the optimal cutoff values for age, cholesterol, BMI, and PSA were 74.50 years (AUC: 0.748, 95%CI: 0.678-0.818), 3.70 mmol/L (AUC: 0.800, 95%CI: 0.731-0.870), 24.97 (AUC: 0.621, 95%CI: 0.532-0.711), and 18.67 ng/mL (AUC: 0.864, 95%CI: 0.813-0.916), respectively, and the combined prediction value of age, cholesterol, BMI, and PSA for high-risk prostate cancer was the highest (AUC: 0.931, 95%CI: 0.895-0.967). The age (r=0.464, P<0.001), BMI (r=0.222, P=0.003), cholesterol (r=0.501, P<0.001), and PSA (r=0.473, P<0.001) were positively correlated with Gleason by Spearman analysis. [Conclusion] Obesity, age, PSA, and cholesterol level are independent risk factors for high-risk prostate cancer.When the age is ≥74.50 years, cholesterol level is ≥3.70 mmol/L, BMI is ≥24.97, PSA level is ≥18.67 ng/mL, the possibility of developing high-risk prostate cancer is high.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
6.Scapular motion and shoulder function in patients suffering from rotator cuff tears with typeⅢscapular dyskinesis

		                        			Objective To explore the differences in scapular motion and shoulder function between patients suffering from rotator cuff tears(RCT)with and without type Ⅲ scapular dyskinesis(SD).Meth-ods Between September 2021 and March 2023,sixteen patients suffering from rotator cuff tears with SD(SD group)and 17 counterparts without SD(non-SD group)were recruited from the Sports Hospital of the General Administration of Sport of China.Their scapular motion was assessed by measuring three parameters in the X-rays,including scapular spine line(LSS),scapular upward rotation angle(SU-RA),and coracoid upward shift distance(CUSD).Moreover,their shoulder range of motion in flexion,abduction and external rotation were recorded,and further evaluated using the Pain Visual Analog Scale(VAS)and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Score(ASES).Results No significant differenc-es were found between the two groups in the average score of SURA,CUSD and LSS at 0°~30° shoul-der abduction,or in that of CUSD and LSS at 60°~90°shoulder abduction.However,the average SU-RA score of the SD group at 60°~90°shoulder abduction was significantly greater than the other group(P<0.05).The shoulder ranges of motion during active flexion,abduction and external rotation were significantly smaller in the SD group than in the non-SD group(P<0.05).Moreover,the average VAS score in the SD group was significantly higher than the non-SD group(P<0.05),while the average ASES score was significantly lower than the latter group(P<0.05).Conclusions RCT patients type III SD exhibits greater scapular upward rotation during shoulder abduction compared to those without SD.Moreover,the former patients suffer from more severe pain and have worse shoulder range of motion and functional performance than the latter.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
7.Causal Association Between Immune Cells and Cervical Cancer:A Two-Sample Mendelian Randomization Study

		                        			Objective To investigate potential causative associations between immunophenotype traits and cervical cancer by using two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR)analysis.Methods The genetic instrumental variables(IVs)of 731 immunophenotypes of peripheral blood were obtained from the GWAS Catalog database.The GWAS summary data of cervical cancer were obtained from FinnGen database.The inverse-variance weighted(IVW),weighted mode,weighted median,and MR Egger methods were used for evaluations.The sensitivity analysis and reverse Mendelian randomization analysis were conducted to eliminate bias and reverse causality.The MR Steiger directionality test was further used to ascertain the reverse causal relationship between immune cells and cervical cancer.Results A total of 71 immune cell subtypes associated with cervical cancer were identified,of which 31 had a strong association.The majority of the B cell panel was protective factors for cervical cancer.B-cell activating factor receptor(BAFF-R)was the most frequently expressed molecule in this analysis.It is expressed on several B cell subtypes.The CD20 on IgD+CD38+B cell(OR=1.887,95%CI:1.078-3.306,P=0.026)is the risk factor for cervical cancer.In cDC panels,the CD123 expression on plasmacytoid dendritic cell(OR=2.48,95%CI:1.229-5.003,P=0.011),CD123 expression on CD62L+plasmacytoid dendritic cell(OR=2.5,95%CI:1.231-5.077,P=0.011),CD80 expression on plasmacytoid dendritic cell(OR=2.62,95%CI:1.244-5.515,P=0.011),and CD80 expression on CD62L+plasmacytoid dendritic cell(OR=2.641,95%CI:1.246-5.596,P=0.011)were positively associated with the incidence of cervical cancer.All gynecological cancers in this study have no statistically significant effect on immune cells,according to reverse MR analysis.Conclusion This study emphasized the genetically predicted causality between immune cells and cervical cancer.In clinical practice,it is important to pay attention to the screening of peripheral blood immune cells for patients with cervical cancer.
		                        		
		                        		
		                        		
		                        	
8.Correlation between body fat distribution measured by quantitative CT and body mass index in adults receiving physical examination

		                        			Objective:To analyze the correlation between body fat distribution measured by quantitative CT (QCT) and body mass index in adults receiving physical examination.Methods:It was a cross-sectional study. From January to December 2021, 3 205 adults undergoing physical examination who met the inclusion criteria and underwent chest CT and QCT examination in the health management discipline of Henan Provincial People′s Hospital were selected as the research objects. The general data were collected; and the subcutaneous fat area, visceral fat area, total abdominal fat area, liver fat content, abdominal obesity and fatty liver detection rate were measured by QCT. According to body mass index, the subjects were divided into normal group (18.5-<24.0 kg/m 2, 1 343 cases), overweight group (24.0-<28.0 kg/m 2, 1 427 cases) and obesity group (≥28.0 kg/m 2, 435 cases). One-way analysis of variance and χ2 test were used to compare the differences of QCT indexes among the three groups. Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis were used to evaluate the correlation between QCT indexes and body mass index. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to analyze the diagnostic effect of QCT on obesity and fatty liver. Results:Subcutaneous fat area, visceral fat area, total abdominal fat area, liver fat content, abdominal obesity and fatty liver detection rate in obese group were all significantly higher than those in overweight group and normal group [males, (147.60±46.44) vs (104.33±27.68), (73.46±22.65) cm 2; (297.46±54.70) vs (229.40±53.12), (159.57±49.68) cm 2; (445.06±70.24) vs (333.73±62.91), (233.02±61.87) cm 2; 11.30% (7.90%, 15.55%) vs 8.75% (6.50%, 11.70%), 6.60% (4.80%, 8.70%); 100.0% vs 96.0%, 64.0%; 92.9% vs 86.7%, 73.3%; females, (213.96±48.61) vs (155.85±35.31), (107.24±31.01) cm 2; (185.41±43.88) vs (142.48±41.75), (96.56±36.50) cm 2; (399.37±68.07) vs (298.33±56.86), (203.80±57.53) cm 2; 9.80% (6.90%, 13.30%) vs 7.30% (5.05%, 9.80%), 5.40%(3.50%, 7.20%); 96.4% vs 74.8%, 28.9%; 87.3% vs 75.6%, 56.5%], and were all positively correlated with body mass index (males, r/ rs=0.709, 0.738, 0.831, 0.402, 0.464, 0.225; females, r/ rs=0.798, 0.695, 0.841, 0.416, 0.605, 0.276) (all P<0.001). In both male and female subjects, the detection rates of obesity based on QCT were significantly higher than those based on body mass index (male, 86.9% vs 16.6%; female, 49.3% vs 8.9%), and the detection rates of fatty liver based on QCT were significantly higher than those based on ultrasound (male, 83.6% vs 57.1%; female, 65.2% vs 27.6%) (all P<0.001). ROC curve showed that when the visceral fat area of 142 cm 2 was used as the cut-off value for the diagnosis of obesity in male subjects, the sensitivity and specificity was 100% and 15.8%, respectively; and when the cut-off value of liver fat content 5.0% was used to diagnose fatty liver, the sensitivity and specificity was 88.9% and 25.1%, respectively. When the visceral fat area of 115 cm 2 was set as the cut-off value for the diagnosis of obesity in female subjects, the sensitivity and specificity was 96.4% and 55.3%, respectively; when the liver fat content of 5.0% was set as the cut-off value for the diagnosis of fatty liver, the sensitivity and specificity was 83.7% and 43.2%, respectively. Conclusions:The indexes of abdominal fat and liver fat measured by QCT in adults receiving physical examination are all positively correlated with body mass index. 		                        			Objective:To analyze the distribution of body fat with quantitative computed tomography (QCT) in people with normal body mass index (BMI).Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted in the physical examination population who underwent chest CT and QCT examination in the Department of Health Management, Henan Provincial People′s Hospital from January to December in 2021, and 1 395 physical examination subjects who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the research subjects. The subjects were divided into five groups according to their age. The general data of the subjects were collected. The total abdominal fat area (TFA), visceral fat area (VFA), subcutaneous fat area (SFA), total abdominal muscle area (TMA) and muscle fat content (MFC) in the subjects were measured by QCT. One-way analysis of variance, Welch test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to compare the above QCT measurement indexes between the two genders among different age groups with normal BMI. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between VFA and sarcopenia indexes. Multivariate linear regression was used to analyze the relationship between VFA and linear correlation variables in the related indicators of sarcopenia.Results:There were significant differences in TFA, VFA, TMA and SMI among different age groups in subjects with normal BMI (all P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that VFA was negatively correlated with TMA in some age groups (male: 18-39 years group: r=-0.351; 40-49 years group: r=-0.278; 60-69 years group: r=-0.245; female:40-49 years group: r=-0.251; 50-59 years group: r=-0.270;≥70 years group: r=-0.391; all P<0.01); it was negatively correlated with SMI (male: 18-39 years group: r=-0.352; 40-49 years group: r=-0.340; 50-59 years group: r=-0.266; 60-69 years group: r=-0.316; female: 40-49 years group: r=-0.240; 50-59 years group: r=-0.284; all P<0.001); it was positively correlated with MFC (male: 18-39 years group: r=0.342; 40-49 years group: r=0.291; female: 50-59 years group: r=0.133; 60-69 years group: r=0.284; all P<0.05). Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that VFA was independently and negatively correlated with SMI in both men and women after adjusting for age interference factors (male B=-1.881, t=-6.025, P<0.001; female B=-0.603, t=-2.887, P=0.004), and it was independently positively correlated with MFC (male B=1.230, t=4.271, P<0.001;female B=0.893, t=3.836, P<0.001). There was an independent negative correlation between VFA and TMA in male subjects ( B=0.263, t=2.478, P=0.013). Conclusions:VFA is correlated with TMA, SMI and MFC in people with normal BMI. 10.Variation trend of health related behaviors in the residents with chronic diseases in Huangpu District of Shanghai from 2014 to 2019

		                        			ObjectiveTo understand the changes of health related behaviors among residents with chronic diseases,and to provide a reference for targeted health intervention. MethodsBased on the surveillance data of chronic diseases and relevant risk factors of the residents in Huangpu District from 2014 to 2019. The study focused on health related behaviors and sociodemographic characteristics which was analyzed by chi-square test. The Cochran-Armitage trend chi-squared test was used to analyze the standardization rate. ResultsSeveral behaviors had been ameliorated such as the health examinations (Z=-3.667, P<0.001), the measurement of blood glucose (Z=-5.793, P<0.001), daily vegetables consumption (Z=-5.741, P<0.001), daily animal food consumption (Z=-23.214, P<0.001), daily physical activity (Z=-18.361, P<0.001), sedentary behavior (Z=4.190, P<0.001), and current smoking (Z=4.615, P<0.001).
