Objective To investigate the cognition level and behavior compliance of blood pressure measurement in community residents and analyze the related influencing factors, and to provide evidence for community health management and blood pressure control. Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate 4470 community patients. Questionnaires included basic personal information，blood pressure measurement cognition, and blood pressure measurement behavior related issues. SPSS 19.0 was used to analyze the basic information, blood pressure measurement cognition, and pressure measurement behavior of the survey subjects. Logistic regression was performed to analyze relevant factors affecting blood pressure measurement cognition and behavior compliance. Results The overall cognitive compliance rate for blood pressure measurement among the visiting community patients was 31.52%. Age, education level, and chronic disease had a statistically significant impact on the cognitive knowledge (P<0.05). The overall behavior compliance rate of blood pressure measurement among the community patients was 23.69%. The cognition, age and education had a statistically significant impact on the overall behavior compliance rate of blood pressure measurement (P<0.05). Conclusion The cognitive level and standardized behavior of blood pressure measurement of community patients need to be improved. More attention should be paid to the elderly, low education level residents and community residents without chronic diseases, to promote community residents to form correct and standardized behavior of blood pressure measurement through health education.

AIM: To investigate the correlation between fundus blood flow parameters and carotid artery ultrasound blood flow parameters in patients with hypertensive retinopathy(HRP).METHODS: A total of 50 patients(22 left eyes and 28 right eyes)with HRP admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were retrospectively included as the experimental group, and 50 healthy physical examination subjects(22 left eyes and 28 right eyes)during the same period were included as the healthy group. Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between fundus blood flow parameters and carotid artery ultrasound blood flow parameters.RESULTS: The AUC values of fundus blood flow parameters and carotid artery ultrasound blood flow parameters and their combined diagnosis of HRP were 0.853, 0.844 and 0.935, respectively. Pearson correlation analysis showed that carotid systolic peak blood flow velocity was negatively correlated with foveal avascular zone(FAZ)area, FAZ circumference and non-circularity index, and positively correlated with macular vascular density(all P<0.05). The end-diastolic blood flow velocity was positively correlated with FAZ area and macular vascular density(all P<0.05). The internal carotid artery resistance index was positively correlated with FAZ area(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: The combination of fundus blood flow parameters and carotid artery ultrasound blood flow parameters in the diagnosis of HRP has good application value in the diagnosis of HRP.

With the rapid development of synthetic biology, genetic engineering, and molecular manipulation methods in recent years, microalgae, as representatives of microbial cell factories, have been widely used as hosts in the production of high-value bioproducts, such as oils, pigments, proteins, and biofuels, demonstrating promising prospects of application in biochemical energy, food and drugs, and environmental protection. Despite these advancements, the low production efficiency of microalgae limits their industrial application. In addition to strain improvement and culture condition optimization, the regulation by exogenous chemical additives serves as a promising optimization strategy. This method relies on straightforward phenotypic screening and circumvents the necessity for intricate understanding of molecular targets in the metabolic and catabolic pathways involved in the synthesis of bioproducts. It enables rapid yield increasing of high-value bioproducts from microalgae and obtaining the required phenotypes. Although studies have reported the use of alternatives means such as exogenous additives to improve the growth of microalgae and the yield of high-value bioproducts, the classification and summarization of the types, applications, targeted strains, and molecular mechanisms of these additives are not comprehensive. Here, we review the studies using chemical inducers or enhancers to improve cell growth and high-value bioproduct accumulation in microalgae in recent years. This paper focuses on the types of exogenous additives, the effects of exogenous additives and their combinations on microalgae growth and high-value bioproduct accumulation, and the molecular mechanisms of related effects. We aim to provide information for researchers to use methods of synthetic biology to develop suitable cell chassis and harness microalgae for industrial production.

Objective: To investigate the trends in incidence and mortality of prostate cancer in Huangpu District, Shanghai Municipality from 2002 to 2019, so as to provide insights into the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer. Methods: The incidence and mortality of prostate cancer among men in Huangpu District from 2002 to 2019 were collected from the Shanghai Cancer Registry System. The crude incidence, crude mortality, truncated age-standardized incidence (aged 35 to 64 years) and cumulative incidence (aged 0 to 74 years) of prostate cancer were calculated. The Chinese Fifth National Population Census in 2000 and the Segi's world standard population in 1960 were used to calculate Chinese-standardized rate and world-standardized rate. The trends in incidence and mortality of prostate cancer were evaluated using annual percent change (APC) and average annual percent change (AAPC). Results: A total of 2 672 cases of prostate cancer were reported in Huangpu District from 2002 to 2019, and the crude incidence was 33.35/105, the Chinese-standardized incidence was 14.93/105 and the world-standardized incidence was 12.37/105 (AAPC=7.675%, 4.886% and 4.983%, all P<0.05). The incidence of prostate cancer among males at ages of 60 to <70 years and 70 to <80 years appeared increasing trends (AAPC=4.554% and 5.045%, both P<0.05). A total of 1 214 deaths of prostate cancer were reported, and the crude mortality was 15.15/105, the Chinese-standardized mortality was 6.01/105 and the world-standardized mortality was 4.61/105 (AAPC=5.500%, 2.057% and 1.784%, all P<0.05). The mortality of prostate cancer among males at ages of 80 years and above appeared an increasing trend (AAPC=4.220%, P<0.05). Conclusions The incidence and mortality of prostate cancer appeared increasing trends in Huangpu District from 2002 to 2019, and the incidence among males at ages of 60 years and above also increased. The screening for prostate cancer among males at ages of 60 years and above should be strengthened.

ObjectiveTo investigate the differences in clinical efficacy of different medication regimens of Wangbi Tablets （尪痹片） for knee osteoarthritis （KOA） in a real-world setting， providing a basis for rational clinical use of Wangbi Tablets. MethodsA prospective registry study was conducted， involving 2，999 KOA patients registered in 30 hospitals nationwide from January 26th， 2019， to December 17th， 2021. Based on the use of Wangbi Tablets during the observation period， patients were divided into a monotherapy group （1，507 cases） and a combination therapy group （1，492 cases）， and the combination group can be further divided into Wangbi Tablets plus Chinese medicine （CM）， Wangbi Tablets plus western medicine （WM）， and Wangbi Tablets plus Chinese and western medicine （CM+WM） subgroups. The baseline data of patients in the monotherapy group and the combination group were compared， including age， gender， body weight， medication time， clinical stage， K-L grade， and others. Efficacy indicators included the Visual Analog Scale （VAS） score， Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index （WOMAC） score， and EuroQol five-dimensional （EQ-5D） health index， which were evaluated before and after 4-， 8- and 12-week treatment， and the difference before and after treatment was calculated after 4， 8 and 12 weeks of treatment. The difference between the baseline and 12 weeks of treatment of all the above indicators was used as the dependent variables， and gender， age， body mass index （BMI）， course of disease， K-L grade， and clinical stage were used as independent variables， when multiple linear regression was taken to explore the influencing factors of the efficacy. At the same time， the occurrence of major symptoms （including morning stiffness， joint swelling， soreness of waist and knees， fear of wind， and fear of cold） was counted， and the disappearance of symptoms at each time point was counted after 4， 8， and 12 weeks of treatment. ResultsAt baseline， there were no statistically significant differences in gender and age distribution between the monotherapy and combination therapy groups （P＞0.05）； the proportion of patients in the acute stage and recovery stage was higher in the monotherapy group than in the combination therapy group， while the proportion in the remission stage was lower （P＜0.05）； the VAS score was higher in the monotherapy group， and the EQ-5D index was lower （P＜0.01）， with no statistically significant difference in total WOMAC score between the two groups （P＞0.05）. Compared to those measured before treatment and at previous timepoint， the VAS score and WOMAC total score significantly decreased in both groups， while EQ-5D value increased （P＜0.05）. The difference in VAS score between baseline and after 12-week treatment was higher in the monotherapy group than the combination group， while the differences in WOMAC total score and EQ-5D value between baseline and after 4-， 8- and 12-week treatment were higher in the combination group （P＜0.05）. Multiple linear regression showed that VAS score before treatment had greatest impact on pain improvement （P＜0.01）， and compared to Wangbi Tablets monotherapy， the combination of Wangbi tablets with WM or CM had larger associations with pain improvement （P＜0.05）； and Wangbi Tablets had better efficacy when the course of treatment was ＞28 days （P＜0.01）. Wangbi Tablets plus WM had a better effect on improving the overall function of the knee joint than Wangbi Tablets alone （P＜0.01）； and the efficacy of Wangbi Tablets with a course of treatment ＞28 days was better （P＜0.05）. The improvement of quality of life of patients in the attack and remission stages was more obvious than that in the recovery stage （P＜0.01）； Wangbi Tablets plus WM or CM had a better effect on improving quality of life than Wangbi Tablets alone （P＜0.05）. Before treatment， the proportion of patients with morning stiffness， soreness of waist and knees， fear of wind and chills in the monotherapy group was higher than that in the combination group （P＜0.01）. The proportion of main symptoms in both groups decreased after 4， 8 and 12 weeks of treatment （P＜0.05）. After 4 weeks of treatment， the disappearance rate of each main symptom in the combination group was higher than that in the monotherapy group， and after 12 weeks of treatment， the disappearance rate of fear of wind in the monotherapy group was higher than that in the combination group， while the disappearance rate of joint swelling and soreness of waist and knees was lower （P＜0.05）. ConclusionWangbi Tablets， whether used alone or in combination with other medications， is effective throughout the course of KOA， with greater benefits in improving joint function and quality of life during the acute and remission stages compared to the recovery stage. Combination therapy had a faster onset of effect， but began to converge with monotherapy after 8 weeks. The best efficacy was observed with the combination of Wangbi Tablets with WM， followed by combination with CM.

Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is a kind of central nervous system disease that seriously threatens human health and life. Current treatment for AIS is mainly reperfusion. However, the time-sensitive of reperfusion limits its clinical application, and a considerable part of patients within the time window cannot achieve the expected effect after reperfusion; related complications of reperfusion have not been completely solved. So far, some clinical trials have confirmed that neuroprotectants are useful supplements and adjuncts to reperfusion. This paper reviews the recent advance in neuroprotectants combined with reperfusion in AIS to provide references for AIS treatment.

ObjectiveTo explore the compliance related factors of repeated screening for colorectal cancer in Jiading District， and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of colorectal cancer. MethodsBased on the natural population cohort in Jiading District， and the screening situation in 2017‒2019 and 2020‒2022， the study subjects were divided into the groups of never participating in screening and participating in screening. Subjects in the participating group were further divided into participating in one round of screening or having repeated screening. SPSS 21.0 software was used to analyze the demographic characteristics of each group. χ² test or Fisher precise probability test were used to conduct univariate analysis of the factors such as gender， age， education level， marital status， retirement status， and type of medical insurance. Factors with the significant difference （P<0.05） were selected for inclusion in multivariate analysis， and factors related to compliance with repeated screening were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. ResultsA total of 8 179 subjects were included in the study， including 3 323 males （40.6%） and 4 856 females （59.4%）. The average age of the subjects was （61.26±6.06） years old. A total of2 652 （32.4%） had educated in primary school or below， 4 242 （51.9%） in secondary school， and 1 285 （15.7%） in higher secondary school. Mostly， 7 579 （92.7%） were married. Among the participants， 4 062 people had never participated in screening， 4 117 people had participated in screening， and 1 485 of them had repeated screening， with a repeated screening rate of 18.2%. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that women had better compliance with repeated screening than men （OR=1.31， 95%CI： 1.14‒1.50）. Compared with the population aged 50 to 54 years， the population aged 55‒59 years （OR=1.57， 95%CI： 1.19‒2.08）， 60-64 years （OR=2.77， 95%CI： 2.13‒3.61）， and 65-69 years （OR=3.31， 95%CI： 2.51‒4.36） had higher compliance with repeated screening. Compared with employees' medical insurance， residents' medical insurance group had worse compliance with repeated screening （OR=0.76， 95%CI： 0.66‒0.87）. People with a history of intestinal polyps were more likely to undergo repeat screening than those without （OR=2.07， 95%CI： 1.50‒2.87）. ConclusionCompliance with repeated screening for colorectal cancer still needs to be improved， and there are differences in compliance with repeated screening for different populations with different characteristics. Identifying groups that are unlikely to adhere to community-based colorectal cancer screening and taking targeted interventions can help improve the continued compliance of residents with colorectal cancer screening.

Objective:The aim of this study was to explore whether hydroxysafflor yellow A (HSYA) combined with hyaluronidase (HAase) can enhance the therapeutic effect of arterial embolism caused by hyaluronic acid (HA) .Methods:Thirty-two white male rabbits were randomly divided into four groups, with 8 rabbits in each group, of which group A, B and C were experimental groups and group D was group control. An axial rectangular composite tissue flap sized 2.0 cm × 5.0 cm, with 1.0 cm pedicle width, and 4.0 cm from the root, was designed with the central auricular artery as the long axis on the dorsal side of the ear. The depth of incision reached the ventral perichondrium of the ear, and the flap was sutured continuously in situ and divided into three equal parts (area Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ) from the proximal area to the distal area. The proximal end 1 cm to the flap and the central artery was the intersection point, into which 50 μl HA was injected, by which the model of HA arterial embolism was established. Each group was treated after 60 min. Group A: 20 ml solution HSYA was injected slowly into the thigh saphenous vein (the dosage of HSYA is calculated at 10 mg/kg) . Group B: 0.5 ml solution HAase was injected into the central auricular artery (400 U/ml) . Group C: 0.5 ml solution HAase with the same dosage of group B was injected into the central auricular artery and 20 ml solution HSYA with the same dosage of group A was injected slowly into the thigh saphenous vein. Group D and other parts of group A and B were injected with the same dosage of normal saline (NS) . The thigh saphenous veins of all groups were injected with the same dosage of solution once a day for 14 days. Flaps were observed immediately, 1, 7 and 14 days after establishment of hyaluronic acid arterial embolism models of tissue flaps, and dorsal and backlight auricular photographs were taken. On the postoperative 14th day, percentages of survival areas of the flaps were calculated, and samples were taken from areas II of tissue flaps, which were stained by hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and Masson, and were detected the activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) . The measurement data conformed to normal distribution was represented as Mean ± SD. Single factor analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to compare the differences among groups, and head-to-head comparison by LSD test. P <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results:Tissue flaps of all groups were pale immediately after operation. On the first day after operation, the dark ischemic area appeared at the distal end of each group. On the postoperative 7th day, the ischemic area of each group was necrotic and blackened to varying degrees, and the non-necrotic area swelled obviously. On the postoperative 14th day, the ischemic area of each group was further necrotic, blackened, curled and the boundary was clear. Group C was the best, group D was the worst, and both group A and B were between the two. The swelling of non-necrotic areas in group A and C were basically reduced. HE staining showed that numerous thrombi and inflammatory cells infiltration were formed in group D, and group B was behind it, and thrombi were rare in group A and C. Masson staining showed that collagen fibers were arranged regularly in group C, and abundant collagen fibers were disintegrated and disordered in group D, and both group A and B were between the two. The percentages of survival areas of the flaps in group A, B, C and D were as follows: (69.87 ± 5.04) %, (85.03 ± 6.58) %, (93.93 ± 4.25) % and (49.22±9.64) %. There were statistical differences in pairwise comparison between groups (all P <0.05) . SOD activity of group A, B, C and D were as follows: (49.83±8.08) , (36.65±5.49) , (55.61±7.93) and (22.45 ± 5.47) U/mg prot. Except that group A vs. C, there were statistical differences between groups (all P <0.05) . MDA content of group A, B, C and D were as follows: (0.77±0.17) , (1.03±0.16) , (0.68±0.12) , and (0.41±0.09) nmol/mg prot. Except that group A vs. C, there were statistical differences between groups (all P <0.05) . Conclusions:Under the condition of animal experiment, compared with HAase, HSYA combined with HAase can significantly enhance the therapeutic effect of HA arterial embolism and increase the proportion of survival area of tissue flap.

Masson staining showed that collagen fibers were organized regularly in group C, while abundant collagen fibers were disintegrated and disordered in group D. Groups A and B exhibited characteristics that fell between the other two groups. The percentages of survival areas of the flaps in groups A, B, C and D were as follows: (69.87±5.04)%, (85.03±6.58)%, (93.93±4.25)% and (49.22±9.64)%. There were statistical differences in pairwise comparisons between groups (all P<0.05). SOD activity of groups A, B, C, and D were as follows: (49.83±8.08), (36.65±5.49), (55.61±7.93) and (22.45±5.47) U/mg prot. Except that group A vs. C, there were statistical differences between groups (all P<0.01). Conclusion:In animal experiments, it was found that compared to HAase alone, the combination of HSYA with HAase significantly improves the therapeutic outcomes of HA arterial embolism and increases the proportion of tissue flap survival area.
