Objective:To investigate the knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of pulse oximetry among pediatric healthcare providers in China and analyze the factor influencing the KAP.Methods:A self-developed questionnaire was used for an online research on the KAP of 11 849 pediatric healthcare providers from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities of China from March 11 to 14, 2022.The factors influencing the KAP of pulse oximetry among pediatric healthcare providers were examined by Logistic regression. Results:The scores of KAP, of pulse oximetry were 5.57±0.96, 11.24±1.25 and 11.19±4.54, respectively. The corresponding scoring rates were 69.61%, 74.95%, and 55.99%, respectively. Logistic regression results showed that the gender and working years of pediatric healthcare providers, the region they were located, and whether their medical institution was equipped with pulse oximeters were the main factors affecting the knowledge score (all P<0.05). Main factors influencing the attitude score of pediatric healthcare providers included their knowledge score, gender, educational background, working years, region, medical institution level, and whether the medical institution was equipped with pulse oximeters (all P<0.05). For the practice score, the main influencing factors were the knowledge score, gender, age, and whether the medi-cal institution was equipped with pulse oximeters (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Chinese pediatric healthcare providers need to further improve their knowledge about and attitudes towards pulse oximetry.Pulse oximeters are evidently under-used.It is urgent to formulate policies or guidelines, strengthen education and training, improve knowledge and attitudes, equip more institutions with pulse oximeters, and popularize their application in medical institutions.

Metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive type of breast cancer. Combination of systemic chemotherapy and immune checkpoint blockade is effective but of limited benefit due to insufficient intratumoral infiltration of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and the accumulation of immunosuppressive cells. Herein, we designed a lenvatinib- and vadimezan-loaded synthetic high-density lipoprotein (LV-sHDL) for combinational immunochemotherapy of metastatic TNBC. The LV-sHDL targeted scavenger receptor class B type 1-overexpressing 4T1 cells in the tumor after intravenous injection. The multitargeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) lenvatinib induced immunogenic cell death of the cancer cells, and the stimulator of interferon genes (STING) agonist vadimezan triggered local inflammation to facilitate dendritic cell maturation and antitumor macrophage differentiation, which synergistically improved the intratumoral infiltration of total and active CTLs by 33- and 13-fold, respectively. LV-sHDL inhibited the growth of orthotopic 4T1 tumors, reduced pulmonary metastasis, and prolonged the survival of animals. The efficacy could be further improved when LV-sHDL was used in combination with antibody against programmed cell death ligand 1. This study highlights the combination use of multitargeted TKI and STING agonist a promising treatment for metastatic TNBC.
8.Prevalence and trend of low vision among primary and secondary school students in Wuhan from 2019 to 2020
Chinese Journal of School Health 2021;42(8):1237-1241
Objective:
To provide a largescale assessment the prevalence of poor vision in 2020 among children and adolescents in Wuhan City, Hubei province and to provide basis for healthy vision promotion.
Methods:
This crosssectional epidemiological study was conducted among 156 783 students, who lived in Wuhan during the COVID-19 period participated the vision screening through the online applet designed by Wuhan Center for Adolescent Poor Vision Prevetion and Control under the guidance of their guardians between June 19 and July 6, 2020. The demographic information and daily hours spent on various activities in the past week were investigated. The corresponding visual acuity data of students in 2019 before the COVID-19 outbreak was extracted from school vision monitoring records for each semester, which was measured by the experienced eye care professionals.
Results:
The detection rate of poor vision (51.04%) in 2020 was significantly higher than that in 2019(43.04%)( χ 2=68 944.95, P <0.01). After adjustment for covariates, the odds ratio and 95% confidence interval for poor vision were 1.17(1.13-1.20), 1.07(1.04-1.10), 0.67 (0.65-0.69) and 0.62(0.60-0.64) in students with online class time, recreational screen time, indoor and outdoor activity time in the highest tertile, compared with the lowest tertile groups.
Conclusion
Increased rate of poor vision among primary and secondary schoool students deserves further concern. It is necessary to strengthen intervention of eyesight protection. Policies and programs aimed at improving opportunities for physical activities and decreasing multiple screen behaviors should be given priority.

Oleic acid(OA),a monounsaturated fatty acid(MUFA),has previously been shown to reverse saturated fatty acid palmitic acid(PA)-induced hepatic insulin resistance(IR).However, its underlying molecular mechanism is unclear. In addition, previous studies have shown that eicos-apentaenoic acid(EPA),a ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA),reverses PA-induced muscle IR,but whether EPA plays the same role in hepatic IR and its possible mechanism involved need to be further clarified. Here,we confirmed that EPA reversed PA-induced IR in HepG2 cells and compared the proteomic changes in HepG2 cells after treatment with different free fatty acids(FFAs).A total of 234 proteins were determined to be differentially expressed after PA+OA treat-ment.Their functions were mainly related to responses to stress and endogenous stimuli, lipid meta-bolic process, and protein binding. For PA+EPA treatment, the PA-induced expression changes of 1326 proteins could be reversed by EPA,415 of which were mitochondrial proteins, with most of the functional proteins involved in oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)and tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle.Mechanistic studies revealed that the protein encoded by JUN and reactive oxygen species(ROS)play a role in OA-and EPA-reversed PA-induced IR,respectively.EPA and OA alle-viated PA-induced abnormal adenosine triphosphate(ATP)production,ROS generation, and calcium(Ca2+)content.Importantly,H2O2-activated production of ROS increased the protein expression of JUN,further resulting in IR in HepG2 cells.Taken together,we demonstrate that ROS/JUN is a common response pathway employed by HepG2 cells toward FFA-regulated IR.

This study aims to analyze the current construction of massive open online course (MOOC) of medical humanities in China, promote the sharing of high-quality curriculum resources, and provide information reference for curriculum design and planning. Mathematical statistics and mind map analysis were used to analyze 42 medical humanities MOOCs on 17 online course platforms during the epidemic, and the results showed that: ①the scale and quantity of medical humanities MOOCs need to be expanded; ②there is regional imbalance in MOOCs construction, with the largest number in East China; ③most of the courses are taught by teachers in a team, teachers with senior professional titles are the main force of the team, and some teams have multidisciplinary backgrounds; ④there are rich teaching contents related to humanistic knowledge and ability, but the content related to medical humanistic spirit cognition needs to be added appropriately. According to the above analysis, it's suggested that the construction of MOOC should focus on systematism and standardization, equip a team of teachers with multidisciplinary backgrounds, value curriculum design and planning, and pay full attention to the feedback and evaluation of learners to find out deficiencies.
