		                        			Objective:
To explore the relationship between sleep quality and executive function among middle school students, so as to provide theoretical support for the promotion of adolescents physical and mental health development.

		                        			Methods:
From September to December 2023, 5 713 junior and senior high school students aged 13 to 18 were selected by stratified cluster random sampling method from Shanghai, Suzhou, Taiyuan, Wuyuan, Xingyi, and Urumqi. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index was used to conduct sleep quality survey. And conduct executive function was tested on middle school students, including inhibitory function, refresh function and conversion function tests. Spearman correlation and linear regression were used to analyze the relationship between sleep quality and executive function of middle school students.

		                        			Results:
The total Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score of boys was [4.0(2.0,6.0)] and that of girls was [5.0(3.0,6.0)], and the difference was statistically significant ( Z=-10.90, P < 0.01 ). The total PSQI score of boys was positively correlated with both 2-back reaction time and conversion function of executive function ( r =0.04, 0.04); the total PSQI score of girls was negatively correlated with 2-back reaction time ( r =-0.04) ( P <0.05). After controlling for variables such as mental health, physical activity and nutritional status, linear regression analyses showed that PSQI total score of middle school students was positively correlated with the inhibitory function and the conversion function response time [ B (95% CI )=1.28(0.21-2.34), 7.62(2.34-12.90), P <0.05]; the associations of total PSQI scores among middle school students with both 2-back and 1-back response time were not statistically significant [ B (95% CI )=-5.88(-16.14-4.37), 8.05( -3.39 -19.50), P >0.05].

Objective To explore the impact of multi-model adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction (ASiR-V) algorithm on radiation dose and image quality in children’s ultra-low-dose chest CT examination. Methods A total of 72 children who underwent chest CT scans at Qingdao Municipal Hospital with admissions between January 2024 and January 2025 were selected as subjects and divided into two groups using a random number table. In the control group (n = 36), the tube voltage was set at 100 kVp and the conventional filtered back projection algorithm was used. In the observation group (n = 36), the tube voltage was set at 80 kVp and images were reconstructed using 30% ASiR-V (observation group 1), 60% ASiR-V (observation group 2), and 90% ASiR-V (observation group 3), respectively. Radiation doses were recorded for each group, and both subjective and objective evaluations of image quality were conducted. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group demonstrated significantly lower volume CT dose index [(0.86 ± 0.09) mGy], dose length product [(25.90 ± 3.55) mGy·cm], and effective dose [(0.01 ± 0.001) mSv] (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in subjective evaluation scores of image quality among the four groups (z = −2.206, P = 0.530). Additionally, Fisher’s exact test showed that the proportion of images scoring 4-5 points was higher in observation group 2 than in observation group 3 (P = 0.024). The noise value of the ascending aorta in the mediastinal window and the noise values of the right and left middle lung fields and the right and left upper lung fields in the lung window were lower in observation groups 2 and 3 than in the control group, and these values were lower in observation group 3 than in observation group 2 (P < 0.05). The signal-to-noise ratios of the ascending aorta and liver in observation groups 2 and 3 were higher than those in the control group, and the ratios were higher in observation group 3 than in observation group 2 (P < 0.05). Conclusion Reconstruction using the 60% ASiR-V algorithm for pediatric ultra-low-dose chest CT examination can ensure good image quality while reducing radiation dose and improving examination safety.

Background and objective Lung cancer is the most common type of cancer, accounting for more than half of all cancer cases, with lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)representing over half of lung cancer patients.Currently, the 5-year survival rate for metastatic LUAD patients remains low and there is an urgent need for new biomarkers as targets for targeted therapy.Go-Ichi-Ni-San 1(GINS1),an important member of the GINS family,is closely related to the occurrence and devel-opment of human malignant tumors. This study aims to explore the role of GINS1 in glycolysis, proliferation, and metastasis of LUAD cells and the related molecular mechanisms. Methods The expression of GINS1 was analysed using bioinformatics between LUAD patients and healthy controls. The expression levels of GINS1 in LUAD and adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot.Western blot and real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)were used to detect the expression of GINS1 in LUAD cell lines A549,SK-LU-1,Calu-3,H1299 and BEAS-2B.Stably knockdown GINS1 in A549 cells and its negative control cell line,as well as stably overexpress GINS1 in H1299 cells and its negative control cell line, were constructed by lentiviral transduction.Colony formation test was used to detect cell proliferation.Scratch test was used to detect cell migration.Transwell test was used to detect cell invasion, and the test kits were used to detect glucose consumption and lactate production. The expression levels of glycolysis-related proteins,Notch signaling pathway proteins and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin(PI3K/AKT/mTOR)signaling pathway proteins were detected by Western blot. The Notch receptor agonist Jagged1 was added to cells from the shGINS1-A549 group and the Notch receptor inhibitor LY3039478 was added to cells from the GINS1-OE-H1299 group for the regression assay. Results The expression of GINS1 was up-regulated in LUAD patients, tissues and cell lines, and corre-lated with overall survival(P<0.05).Knockdown of GINS1 significantly inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion of A549 cells(P<0.05),while overexpression of GINS1 significantly enhanced the proliferation, migration and invasion of H1299 cells(P<0.05).Furthermore,knockdown of GINS1 resulted in reduced glucose consumption, reduced lactate production, and reduced expression levels of glycolytic-related proteins in A549 cells(P<0.05);overexpression of GINS1 enhanced glycolytic level in H1299 cells(P<0.05).The expression levels of Notch1,Notch3,phosphorylated-PI3K(p-PI3K),phosphorylated-AKT(p-AKT)and phosphorylated-mTORC1(Ser2448)[p-mTORC1(Ser2448)]in A549 cells were significantly decreased by GINS1 knockdown(P<0.05),while the expression levels of P13K,AKT,mTOR and p-mTORC2(Ser2481)were not significantly changed(P>0.05).Overexpression of GINS1 increased the levels of Notch1,Notch3 and PI3K/AKT/mTORC1 pathway phosphorylated proteins in H1299 cells(P<0.05).Jagged1 significantly reversed the inhibition of glycolysis,prolif-eration and metastasis induced by GINS1 knockdown in A549 cells(P<0.05),and LY3039478 significantly inhibited the en-hancement of glycolysis, proliferation and metastasis induced by GINS1 overexpression in H1299 cells(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of GINS1 enhances the expression of Notch1 and Notch3 receptors, and then phosphorylates and activates the downstream PI3K/AKT/mTORC1 signaling pathway to enhance the glycolysis, proliferation and metastasis of LUAD cells.

Bone age is a quantitative representation of the skeletal development pattern.X-ray imaging of the wrist with the Greulich-Pyle method is commonly used to assess bone age in clinic. In adolescent children, the sensitivity and specificity of the the Greulich-Pyle method are not sufficient because the bones of the wrist are already mature. In contrast, epiphyseal morphological changes in the knee joint throughout adolescence can provide information for the assessment of bone age in adolescent children, and the feasibility of knee joint bone age assessment has been verified. With the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the medical field, the accuracy of AI interpretation of bone age is also recognized. One of the important uses of bone age assessment in adolescent children is to predict the remaining growth potential.Based on knee images, exploring the use of AI to build a model for predicting residual growth potential is a more meaningful research direction for clinical purposes. This paper reviews the anatomical characteristics of the knee joint, the application of knee joint imaging and the research progress of AI in bone age assessment.

Objective:To characterize the histopathological subtypes and their clinicopathological parameters of gender and onset age by common, rare and sparse primary esophageal malignant tumors (PEMT).Methods:A total of 272 437 patients with PEMT were enrolled in this study, and all of the patients were received radical surgery. The clinicopathological information of the patients was obtained from the database established by the State Key Laboratory of Esophageal Cancer Prevention & Treatment from September 1973 to December 2020, which included the clinical treatment, pathological diagnosis and follow-up information of esophagus and gastric cardia cancers. All patients were diagnosed and classified by the criteria of esophageal tumor histopathological diagnosis and classification (2019) of the World Health Organization (WHO). The esophageal tumors, which were not included in the WHO classification, were analyzed separately according to the postoperative pathological diagnosis. The χ 2 test was performed by the SPSS 25.0 software on count data, and the test standard α=0.05. Results:A total of 32 histopathological types were identified in the enrolled PEMT patients, of which 10 subtypes were not included in the WHO classification. According to the frequency, PEMT were divided into common (esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, ESCC, accounting for 97.1%), rare (esophageal adenocarcinoma, EAC, accounting for 2.3%) and sparse (mainly esophageal small cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, etc., accounting for 0.6%). All the common, rare, and sparse types occurred predominantly in male patients, and the gender difference of rare type was most significant (EAC, male∶ female, 2.67∶1), followed with common type (ESCC, male∶ female, 1.78∶1) and sparse type (male∶ female, 1.71∶1). The common type (ESCC) mainly occurred in the middle thoracic segment (65.2%), while the rare type (EAC) mainly occurred in the lower thoracic segment (56.8%). Among the sparse type, malignant melanoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma were both predominantly located in the lower thoracic segment (51.7%, 66.7%), and the others were mainly in the middle thoracic segment. Conclusion:ESCC is the most common type among the 32 histopathological types of PEMT, followed by EAC as the rare type, and esophageal small cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma as the major sparse type, and all of which are mainly occur in male patients. The common type of ESCC mainly occur in the middle thoracic segment, while the rare type of EAC mainly in the lower thoracic segment. The mainly sparse type of malignant melanoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma predominately occur in the lower thoracic segment, and the remaining sparse types mainly occur in the middle thoracic segment.

The average age of all cases was (36.10±9.41) years old and 10 021 were males (70.5%). The main route of infection was intravenous drug use (61.0%, 8 678 cases). At the end of the observation, 10001 cases (70.3%) were still treated, and 1 425 cases (10.0%) died; Cox Regression analysis showed that female (0.67 (0.55-0.81)), route of sexual infection (0.67 (0.56-0.79)), baseline CD4 +T lymphocyte count 200-350 (0.41 (0.35-0.47)) and ≥350 (0.28 (0.24-0.34)), was a protective factor in death. At the beginning of treatment, the patient is clinically staging stage Ⅱ (0.70 (0.58-0.84)) and abnormal BMI (1.75 (1.50-2.03)), is a risk factor for death ( P<0.05). Conclusion:Early antiviral treatment is of great significance in improving the anti-viral treatment effect of AIDS. Compliance education should be further strengthened so as to enhance their knowledge. And it is feasible to enhance the effect of treatment through nutritional support for prolonging patients survival time and improving the quality of life.
