BackgroundRehabilitation for schizophrenia typically relies on pharmacological interventions, yet their efficacy in improving social function and quality of life remains limited. In recent years, non-pharmacological approaches have shown promise in enhancing rehabilitation outcomes. However, research on the effectiveness of psychomotor therapy specifically for young and middle-aged schizophrenic inpatients is limited. ObjectiveTo explore the effects of psychomotor therapy on the rehabilitation of young and middle-aged schizophrenic inpatients, and to provide a reference for treatment strategies. MethodsA total of 104 young and middle-aged schizophrenic inpatients who met the International Classification of Diseases, tenth edition (ICD-10) diagnostic criteria and hospitalized in the Fourth People's Hospital of Wuhu from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected. Patients were randomly divided into two groups of 52 each using random number table method. Both groups received treatment with risperidone tablets (2~4 mg/d) , along with routine nursing care. Additionally, the research group received an extra 45~55 minutes of psychomotor therapy 2~3 times per week for 12 weeks. The control group received the same psychomotor therapy after the study. Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS), Scales of Social-skills for Psychiatric Inpatient (SSPI) and Insight and Treatment Attitude Questionnaire (ITAQ) were used to assess the patients before the intervention and at 4th, 8th and 12th week after the intervention. ResultsThe main effects of intervention at different time points for PANSS positive symptoms, negative symptoms and general psychopathology subscale scores, PANSS total score, SSPI score and ITAQ score were all statistically significant (F=33.989, 204.245, 82.817, 279.596, 26.144, 7.463, P<0.01). Furthermore, statistically significant between-group differences were observed in PANSS negative symptoms and general psychopathology subscale scores, PANSS total score, SSPI score and ITAQ score (F=30.053, 5.306, 33.417, 33.013, 18.608, P<0.05 or 0.01). Moreover, the interaction effect of time and group were statistically significant for PANSS positive symptoms, negative symptoms and general psychopathology subscale score, PANSS total score and SSPI score (F=3.472, 9.798, 3.843, 14.390, 20.661, P<0.05 or 0.01). After 12 weeks of intervention, the research group exhibited statistically significantly lower PANSS total score and subscale scores compared with baseline (P<0.01), while their SSPI total score was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.01). Additionally, compared with the control group, the research group had statistically significantly lower PANSS total score and subscale scores , while their SSPI score was statistically significantly higher than those of control group(P<0.01). ConclusionPsychomotor therapy may contribute to the improvement of the psychiatric symptoms and social function in young and middle-aged inpatients with schizophrenia, enhancing their rehabilitation outcomes. The study aimed to evaluate the safety and function of poly(lactic-acid-co-ε-caprolactone) (PLCL)/fibrinogen nanofibers (P/F-Ns), and provide theoretical basis for the clinical application. The surface morphology, mechanical properties, the hydrophilicity and the fibrinogen content of P/F-Ns were tested by scanning electron microscope, the material testing machine, the contact angle meter and the microplate reader, respectively. The cell adhesion, proliferation and ligament remodeling genes expression of Hig-82 cells on P/F-Ns were conducted through cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and real-time quantitative PCR analyses, respectively. The results showed that with the increase of the fibrinogen content, the pore sizes and hydrophilicity of three P/F-Ns increased, but the mechanical properties decreased. Cell adhesion and proliferation tests showed that P/F-N-2 held the best ability to promote cell adhesion and proliferation. The ligament remodeling genes expressions of Hig-82 cells on P/F-N-1, P/F-N-2 and P/F-N-3 were all up-regulated compared to P/F-N-0 on days 3 and 7. All the three P/F-Ns containing fibrinogen (P/F-N-1, P/F-N-2 and P/F-N-3) had better biocompatibility compared to P/F-N-0, and could be efficiently applied to the reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament.

ObjectiveTo investigate the safety and efficacy of re-hepatic resection (rHR) versus radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in the treatment of recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma (RHCC) in Asia through a meta-analysis. MethodsPubMed, CNKI, and Wanfang Data were searched for related studies published up to June 15, 2020. Two reviewers independently searched for the articles and extracted related data, and RevMan 5.4.1 was used to perform the meta-analysis. ResultsA total of 2 randomized controlled trials and 18 retrospective cohort studies met the inclusion criteria and involved 2903 patients with RHCC from Asian countries. The mortality rate in the perioperative period was 2% in the rHR group and 0 in the RFA group, and the incidence rate of perioperative complications was 22.4% in the rHR group and 3.3% in the RFA group. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival rates were 92.3%, 66.3%, and 51.1%, respectively, in the rHR group and 91.4%, 69.2%, and 39.9%, respectively, in the RFA group. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year disease-free survival rates were 67.9%, 48.3%, and 34.4%, respectively, in the rHR group and 57.5%, 27.9%, and 14.0%, respectively, in the RFA group. The Meta-analysis showed that there was no significant difference in overall survival rate between the two groups (hazard ratio [HR]=089, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.77-1.02, P=0.10), while the rHR group had a significantly higher disease-free survival rate than the RFA group (HR=0.79, 95% CI: 0.72-0.87, P<0.001). ConclusionCurrent evidence shows that rHR may help to achieve a higher disease-free survival rate than RFA in the treatment of RHCC, while rHR and RFA have a similar overall survival rate.

Objective:To study the impact of preoperative serum HBV DNA levels on prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients undergoing hepatectomy with curative intent. Methods:The clinical data of patients with HCC treated by hepatectomy with curative intent at the Guangxi Medical University Cancer Hospital from January 2010 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the preoperative serum HBV DNA levels, patients were divided into three groups: the control group (HBV DNA negative), the low load group (<10 4 copy/ml) and the high load group (≥10 4 copy/ml). The clinical data of these patients were collected and long-term survival outcomes of these patients were followed-up. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to compare the overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS) rates among the three groups. Using the Barcelona clinic liver cancer classification (BCLC), patients with different serum HBV DNA levels were further divided into three subgroups: stage 0/A, stage B and stage C. The OS and RFS rates of patients in each of these subgroups were compared. Results:Of 1 180 patients who were enrolled in the study, there were 1 024 males and 156 females, aged (48.6±10.8) years. The 1-, 3- and 5-year OS rates for patients in the control group ( n=258) were 91.5%, 79.3% and 74.9%, respectively; while those in the low load group ( n=289) were 87.2%, 68.6% and 61.6%, respectively; and those in the high load group ( n=633) were 85.4%, 68.9% and 60.7%, respectively. The 1-, 3- and 5-year OS rates in the control group were significantly better than those in the low load group and the high load group ( P<0.05). The 1-, 2- and 3-year RFS rates in the control group were significantly higher than those in the high load group ( P<0.05). Subgroup analysis showed that in the BCLC 0/A subgroup ( n=786) the 1-, 3- and 5-year OS rates in the control group were significantly better than those in the high load group ( P<0.05). In the BCLC B subgroup ( n=181), the 1-, 2- and 3-year RFS rates in the control group were significantly higher than those in the high load group ( P<0.05). In the BCLC C subgroup ( n=214), there were no significant differences in the 1-, 3- and 5-year OS and 1-, 2- and 3-year RFS rates among the three groups ( P>0.05). Conclusion:For HCC patients undergoing hepatectomy with curative intent, the higher the preoperative serum HBV-DNA level, the worse the long-term survival outcomes.

Objective:This study analyzes the expression level of miR-1180-3p and constructs the regulatory network of relevant ceRNA by integrating the DNA methylation and gene expression profile of hepatocellular carcinoma from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA).Methods:Firstly, the expression level of miR-1180-3p in hepatocellular carcinoma and adjacent tissues was analyzed by TCGA database, and the differential expression of lncrna and mRNA was screened. Secondly, the LncBase database and the TargetScan database were used to predict the relationship between miR-1180-3p and lncRNA and mRNA, and the DNA methylation-mediated lncRNA was screened by the DNA methylation profile of lncRNA. Finally, Cytoscape software was used to construct miR-1180-3p relevant ceRNA network, and WebGestalt website was used to perform GO and KEGG analysis of related mRNA in ceRNA.Results:Compared with patients with low expression of miR-1180-3p (mean overall survival duration, 5.69 ± 0.35 years), patients with high expression of miR-1180-3p had shorter overall survival time (mean overall survival duration, 3.99 ± 0.47 years), indicating that the high expression of miR-1180-3p was hepatocellular carcinoma risk factor affecting the prognosis ( HR = 1.28, 95% CI = 1.1 ~ 1.5, P < 0.01). A miR-1180-3p related ceRNA regulatory network was constructed in this study, which contained 2 lncRNAs (F11-AS1 and LINC01511) and 37 mRNAs. Conclusion:This study has successfully constructed miR-1180-3p relevant ceRNA regulatory network, and DNA methylation-mediated F11-AS1 and F11-AS1/miR-1180-3p/C11of54 ceRNA regulatory axis has played an important role in the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma.
