Objective:To study the effect of baicalein on the expression of glutamate receptor related protein in PC12 cells injured by Aβ 25-35. Methods:PC12 cells were divided into control group, model group, estradiol group and baicalein group with different concentrations. The survival condition of PC12 cells in each group were detected by thiazole blue (MTT). PC12 cells were divided into control group, model group, estradiol group and baicalein group. The control group and model group were cultured with DMEM medium, and the estradiol group was added with 1×10 -3 μmol/L estradiol DMEM medium, baicalein group was added with 1 μmol/L baicalein DMEM medium. After 2 hours of intervention, 20 μmol/L Aβ 25-35 was added to the model group, estradiol group and baicalein group with induced PC12 cell injury. After 22 hours of intervention, flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis of PC12 cells. The expression of estrogen receptor β (ER β), phosphorylated c-Jun N-terminal kinase (p-JNK/JNK) and ionic receptor N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor 1 (NMDAR1), glutamate receptor 2 (GluR2) and calcium/calmodulin dependent protein kinase Ⅱ (CaMK Ⅱ) were detected by Western blot. Results:Compared with model group, 1 μmol/L baicalein significantly increased the proliferation rate [(95.80±2.47)% vs. (64.34±3.84)%]. The apoptosis rate of PC12 cells[(7.83±0.67)% vs. (12.84±0.91)%] was significantly decreased in baicalein group ( P<0.01). The expression of NMDAR1 (0.582±0.012 vs. 0.352±0.012), GluR2(0.538±0.017 vs. 0.355±0.006), ER β (0.362±0.015 vs. 0.262±0.018) in baicalein group were significantly increased ( P<0.01), the expression of p-JNK/JNK (0.476±0.013 vs. 0.752±0.014) and CaMK Ⅱ(0.499±0.019 vs. 0.670±0.016) in baicalein group were significantly decreased ( P<0.01). Conclusions:Baicalein has a protective effect on PC12 cells injured by Aβ 25-35. Its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of p-JNK/JNK activity by activating ERβ and regulating the expression of glutamate receptor related protein.

OBJECTIVETo explore the genetic cause for a child with mental retardation, developmental delay and multi-systemic developmental disorders by analyzing the copy number variations (CNVs) and correlating the genotype with the phenotype.
METHODSRoutine G-banding was performed to analyze the karyotype of the patient and her parents. In addition, single nucleotide polymorphisms array (SNP-array) was used to determine the CNVs, which was confirmed by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH).
RESULTSNo karyotypic abnormality was detected upon chromosome analysis. However, SNP-array has identified a de novo hemizygous deletion of 1673 kb on chromosome region 7q11.23, which has been associated with Williams-Beuren syndrome. The microdeletion was confirmed by FISH testing.
CONCLUSIONA child with Williams-Beuren syndrome has been diagnosed by SNP-array and FISH. The de novo 7q11.23 microdeletion probably underlies the clinical manifestation of the patient. Compared with routine karyotype analysis, SNP-array is more useful for diagnosing children with multiple congenital anomalies with unclear etiology.

Objective To evaluate neurodevelopmental outcome of very preterm(gestational age < 32 weeks) and very low birth weight infant (VLBWI) (weight < 1 500 g) and to examine the effectiveness of an early intervention program till 12 months corrected age. Methods Seventy followed-up very preterms and VLB-WI in Jinan Maternity and Childcare Hospital were enrolled in this study from January 2012 to and were divided into two groups by birth weight. All infants received 20 items of behavioral neurological assessment at 1 to 12 months corrected age and tested mental and psychomotor development with the use of CDCC at 6,12 months corrected age.The preterms who were abnomal in the 20 items of behavioral neurological assessment would receive early intervention (including kinesitherapy, physiotherapy, cereal circulation therapeutic equipment) by physiotherapists and their parents who received an intervention program training and were strongly encouraged to participate in the intervention sessions. The intervention method was adjusted according to the neurological assessment. The SPSS statistical software package for Windows, version 15.0, was used to run Fisher's exact test and t-test on the data presented, and P value of less than 0.05 was regarded as statistically significant. Results The average gestational age of infants was (30.4 ± 1.8) weeks, and average birth weight (1 463.7 ± 307.5) g.The incidence of extrauterine growth restriction was 57.1% at first follow-up.The incidence of neurodevelpmental impairment NDI) and cerebral palsy tendency at 6 corrected months were 14.3% ,8.6% respectively. At 12 months corrected age,the incidence of NDI decreased to 2.9% and cerebral palsy to 2.9%.There was significant difference in the incidence of NDI between 6 and 12 corrected months. There was no significant difference in the incidence of psychomotor developmental index < 70, mental developmental index < 70, NDI and cerebral palsy between the two groups. Conclusion The early intervention program can improve VLBWI neurodevelopmental outcomes at 12 months' corrected age and reduce the incidence of cerebral palsy.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2015;(6):62-64,65
Objective To explore the effect of quality control circle (ACC) on the management of material in the operation room. Method QCC team was established in operation room to consistently improve the location and position of material, and standards of locating and positioning the material were established. Results Through the application of QCC, the satisfaction rates of nurses and doctors were higher than those before QCC. The preoperative time for material preparation after the application of QCC was significantly shorter than that before (P<0.01). Conclusion Through the implementation of QCC, the locations of material in the operating room are standardized, and the quality of operating room management and nurses'work efficiency both improved.

ObjectiveTo study the curative effect of early intervention on selective head sub-hypothermia in full term infant with severe asphyxia.MethodsForty two full term infant with severe asphyxia were randomly divided into treatment(n =22) and control ( n =20) group, all patients were treated according to three supportive therapy and three heteropathy after resuscitation, and meanwhile the treament group combined with selective head sub-hypothermia.In the 2 groups, heart and breath oxygen saturation, blood sugar were measurded within 72 hours after treatment, and the Chinese 20-item neonate nerve behaviors were evaluated 28 days after birth.Test were conducted with the Bayley infant development scale in 2 months after birth.ResultsAfter 72 hours of treatment, the heart rate of treatment group reduced and showed significant difference from that of contol group and restored to normal. There were no significant differences in breath, blood pressure(BP),degree of blood ozygen saturation, blood sugar between the 2 groups. After 28 days of birth, scores of neonate nerve behaviors were ( 37 ± 3) in treatment group and (31 ± 3) in control group, respectively ;which showed significant difference ( P < 0.01 ).In the 2nd months of birth, scores of Bayley infant development scale were (91 ± 3 ) in treatment group and ( 86 ± 4 ) in control group, respectively, which showed significant difference(P < 0.05 ).ConclusionSelective head sub-hypothermia was convenient and safe, and had reliable curative effect by relieving or prenventing sequel and raising quality of life.
