Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the integrated schistosomiasis control programme in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023, so as to provide insights into precision control and elimination of schistosomiasis. Methods The integrated measures for schistosomiasis control implemented by health, agriculture, water resources, and forestry departments of Wuhan City, and the epidemiological data of schistosomiasis in Wuhan City were collected from 2005 to 2023, and the prevalence of human schistosomiasis, prevalence of Schistosoma japonicum infections in humans and bovines, areas of S. japonicum-infected snail habitats, areas of snail habitats in inner embankments, and actual areas of snail habitats were retrieved. In addition, the trends in prevalence of schistosomiasis in humans and livestock and snail status were evaluated in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 using Mann-Kendall test and a Joinpoint regression model. Results Mann-Kendall test revealed a tendency towards a decline in the prevalence of human schistosomiasis (Z = -4.41, P < 0.01), prevalence of S. japonicum infections in humans (Z = -4.89, P < 0.01) and bovines (Z = -4.50, P < 0.01), areas of S. japonicum-infected snail habitats (Z = -3.91, P < 0.01), areas of snail habitats in inner embankments (Z = -2.28, P = 0.02), and actual areas of snail habitats (Z = -5.95, P < 0.01) in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023. Joinpoint regression analysis showed an average annual reduction of 8.58% in the prevalence of human schistosomiasis in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 [average annual percent change (AAPC) = -8.58%, 95% confidence interval (CI): (-10.02%, -6.65%), P < 0.01], with two joinpoints in 2013 and 2016, respectively, and the tendency towards a decline showed statistical significance during the period from 2013 through 2016 [annual percent change (APC) = -34.41%, 95% CI: (-40.36%, -20.01%), P < 0.01]. The prevalence of S. japonicum human infections appeared an average annual reduction of 51.91% in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 [AAPC = -51.91%, 95% CI: (-58.12%, -44.25%), P < 0.01], with two joinpoints in 2014 and 2017, respectively, and the tendency towards a decline showed statistical significance during the period from 2014 through 2017 [APC = -98.17%, 95% CI: (-99.17%, -90.87%), P < 0.01]. The prevalence of S. japonicum infections in bovines appeared an average annual reduction of 53.12% in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 [AAPC = -53.12%, 95% CI: (-59.65%, -42.44%), P < 0.01], with two joinpoints in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and the tendency towards a decline showed statistical significance during the period from 2014 through 2017 [APC = -98.63%, 95% CI: (-99.44%, -90.93%), P < 0.01]. The areas of S. japonicum-infected snail habitats appeared an average annual reduction of 47.09% in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 [AAPC = -47.09%, 95% CI: (-52.92%, -38.26%), P < 0.01], with two joinpoints in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and the tendency towards a decline showed statistical significance during the period from 2011 through 2014 [APC = -97.27%, 95% CI: (-98.65%, -88.06%), P < 0.01]. The areas of snail habitats in inner embankments appeared an average annual reduction of 4.45% in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 [AAPC = -4.45%, 95% CI: (-5.18%, -3.82%), P < 0.01], with three joinpoints in 2011, 2015 and 2018, respectively, and statistical significance was seen in the tendency towards a decline during the period from 2005 through 2011 [APC = -16.38%, 95% CI: (-20.15%, -14.25%), P < 0.01]. In addition, the actual areas of snail habitats appeared an average annual reduction of 2.65% in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023 [AAPC = -2.65%, 95% CI: (-2.89%, -2.40%), P < 0.01], with a joinpoint in 2013, and the tendency towards a decline showed statistical significance during the period from 2013 through 2023 [APC = -4.06%, 95% CI: (-4.66%, -3.58%), P < 0.01]. Conclusions The integrated schistosomiasis control programme achieved significant effectiveness in Wuhan City from 2005 to 2023, with a tendency towards a decline in morbidity due to schistosomiasis in humans and livestock and snail status. The integrated schistosomiasis control strategy with emphasis on management of the source of S. japonicum infections should continue to be implemented to consolidate the schistosomiasis control achievements and achieve the goal of schistosomiasis elimination in the city.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of modified Fuzheng Yiliu Decoction(composed of Astragali Radix,Codonopsis Radix,Ligustri Lucidi Fructus,Hedyotis Diffusae Herba,Moutan Cortex,Visci Herba,etc.)combined with XELOX regimen(Oxaliplatin plus Capecitabine)for the treatment of postoperative patients with advanced gastric cancer of qi and yin deficiency type.Methods A total of 80 postoperative patients with advanced gastric cancer of qi and yin deficiency type were randomly divided into the Chinese medicine group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups received chemotherapy with XELOX regimen,while the Chinese medicine group was given modified Fuzheng Yiliu Decoction.Three weeks constituted a course of treatment,the medication of Chinese medicine decoction lasted for two weeks or more in each course of treatment,and a total of 8 courses of treatment were performed.The incidence of adverse reactions during chemotherapy was monitored and changes in serum tumor markers of serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199)and alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)were observed in the two groups before and after treatment.Moreover,the patients'quality of life was assessed by the scores of Karnofsky's Performance Status(KPS)and World Health Organization Quality of Life Measurement Scale(WHOQOL-100).Long-term follow-up was carried out for the evaluation of the prognostic indicators such as overall survival and one-year and 2-year overall survival rates.Results(1)Patients in the two groups were all followed up,and the median follow-up time was 27 months(95%CI:23.59-27.86).(2)After treatment,the levels of serum CEA and AFP in the Chinese medicine group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),while serum CA199 tended to decrease compared with those before treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05);in the control group,the levels of serum CEA,CA199,and AFP were not significantly decreased after treatment(P＞0.05).The intergroup comparison showed that the decrease of serum CEA,CA199 and AFP levels in the Chinese medicine group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).(3)The adverse reactions during chemotherapy in the two groups mainly involved bone marrow suppression,gastrointestinal reactions and liver function abnormalities,etc.The incidences of all adverse reactions in the Chinese medicine group tended to be lower than those in the control group,but the differences were not statistically significant(P＞0.05).(4)After treatment,the KPS scores of patients in both groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P＜0.01),and the improvement in the Chinese medicine group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.01).(5)After treatment,the scores of the four dimensions of WHOQOL-100 such as health status,mobility,life feelings,and other activities of daily life in the Chinese medicine group were significantly improved compared with the pre-treatment(P＜0.05),whereas there was no significant improvement in the control group(P＞0.05).The intergroup comparison showed that the improvement of the scores of each dimension of the WHOQOL-100 in the Chinese medicine group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).(6)The median survival in the Chinese medicine group was 29.0 months(95%CI:25.95-31.70)and that in the control group was 22.0 months(95%CI:19.67-25.58),indicating that the median survival was significantly prolonged in Chinese medicine group(P＜0.01).The one-year and 2-year postoperative survival rates were 97.5%and 77.5%in the Chinese medicine group and 92.5%and 47.5%in the control group,respectively.The intergroup comparison showed that the one-year and 2-year postoperative survival rates in the Chinese medicine group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.01).Conclusion Modified Fuzheng Yiliu Decoction can effectively alleviate the adverse reactions during adjuvant chemotherapy for postoperative patients with advanced gastric cancer of qi and yin deficiency type,improve the quality of life of patients,and prolong the survival time of patients.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture on ghost points combined with Longdan Xiegan Decoction in the treatment of post-stroke insomnia of liver-fire disturbing the heart type.Methods Sixty patients with liver-fire disturbing the heart type of post-stroke insomnia were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 patients in each group.The control group was given oral use of modified Longdan Xiegan Decoction,and the observation group was given acupuncture at the ghost points on the basis of the treatment of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.After 1 month of treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated,and the changes in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score and the Athens Insomnia Scale(AIS)score were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.The changes of Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores were compared before and after treatment in the two groups of patients.Results(1)After treatment,the PSQI scores of the two groups of patients were significantly improved(P＜0.05),and the observation group was significantly superior to the control group in improving the PSQI scores,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).(2)After treatment,the AIS scores of patients in the two groups were significantly improved(P＜0.05),and the observation group was significantly superior to the control group in improving the AIS scores,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).(3)After treatment,the SDS scores of patients in the two groups were significantly improved(P＜0.05),and the observation group was significantly superior to the control group in improving SDS scores,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).(4)The total effective rate of the observation group was 86.66%(26/30),while that of the control group was 76.66%(23/30).The efficacy of the observation group was superior to that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture at the ghost points combined with Longdan Xiegan Decoction for the treatment of liver-fire disturbing the heart type of post-stroke insomnia can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients,and the therapeutic effect is remarkable.

AIM To compare the components difference between Lonicera fragrantissima Lindl.et Paxt.(LFL)and Lonicerae japonicae Flos(LJF),and to evaluate the medicinal value of LFL,so as to provide reference for the development and utilization of LFL and LJF.METHODS With 70%methanol as extraction solvent,the components were analyzed by UPLC-TOF-MS,and the contents of 20 components were determined by HPLC-QQQ-MS.The components difference was determined by multivariate statistical analysis.RESULTS A total of 52 components were identified in the buds of LFL and LJF.There were 4 different components in LJF,and the contents of 20 quantitative components were significantly different.The contents of isochlorogenic acid C,ferulic acid,luteolin and rutin in the buds of LFL were more than 2 times that of LJF,and the contents of marchanic acid and marchanin were 11.96 times and 37.23 times that of LJF respectively.Maganin,isochlorogenic acid A,maganic acid,rutin and dicomachanic acid are the key differentiating components of LFL and LJF.CONCLUSION The buds of LFL and LJF have similar species,but the content difference is obvious.The buds of LFL have important medicinal value,which need further development and utilization.

BACKGROUND:Currently,the verification of the precision of personalized bone models is usually performed by methods such as paired t-tests or intraclass correlation coefficient,but such methods often require the production of large batches of models,which do not satisfy the need for immediate use of personalized models. OBJECTIVE:To study the feasibility of establishing the equivalent model to verify the precision of the personalized bone model rapidly. METHODS:Bone CT images of three adults were randomly obtained for reconstruction.3D printing was used to create personalized bone models,and then the personalized bone models were scanned using CT and reconstructed.Mimics was used to compare the reconstructed models of bone CT images with the bone CT images.Geomagic Studio was used to analyze the fitting deviation between the reconstruction model of personalized bone model CT image and the reconstruction model of skeletal CT image.The 3D-printed personalized bone model was measured against the measurement positions and dimensions marked on the reconstruction model of skeletal CT image,and the error was calculated. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)By comparing the reconstructed bone CT image model with the bone CT scan image,the two were compatible in terms of anatomical structure and morphology,and the contours almost overlapped.(2)By fitting bias analysis,the standard bias was 0.176,0.226,and 0.143 mm in order,and all the results were<0.25 mm.(3)By measuring and calculating the model,the mean relative errors were 0.44%,0.21%,and 0.13%,and all the results were within 5%error.(4)The constructed equivalent model was in line with the basic conditions for making personalized bone models.The established equivalent model met the clinical needs and design requirements,and it was feasible to use the method of the equivalent model to verify the precision of the personalized bone model quickly.(5)This method could provide a targeted and rapid way to verify the precision of personalized bone models.It could achieve the goal of providing immediate clinical use without the need to produce large batches of models compared to conventional methods such as paired t-tests or intraclass correlation coefficient.

Objective To analyze the current research status and hotspot issues of performance assessment in tertia-ry public hospitals in China,providing reference for subsequent research and practice.Methods Using"performance assessment of tertiary public hospitals"as the main keyword,a total of 520 articles were retrieved from the CNKI ac-ademic journal database from January 30,2019,to January 30,2024.After further screening of literature based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 364 eligible articles were obtained.Visual analysis was conducted using the VOSviewer tool.Results The number of publications increased annually from 2019 to 2021,with a decline ob-served in 2022-2023."Chinese Journal of Health"published the most articles on performance assessment in tertiary public hospitals.Research institutions mainly focused on universities,health administrative departments,and hospi-tals.The hotspot clusters of research included performance assessment,public hospitals,target management,high-quality development,tertiary hospitals,and operational efficiency.Conclusion Performance assessment in tertia-ry public hospitals has received widespread attention,with rich connotations and obvious guiding effects,but further research is needed to deepen and explore related topics.

Although great progress has been achieved in the techniques and materials of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), cardiac surgery under CPB is still one of the surgeries with the highest complication rate. The systemic inflammatory response is an important cause of complications, mainly characterized by activation of innate immune cells and platelets, and up-regulation of inflammatory cytokines. After activation, a variety of molecules on the membrane surface are up-regulated or down-regulated, which can amplify tissue inflammatory damage by releasing cytoplasmic protease and reactive oxygen species, and activate multiple inflammatory signaling pathways in the cell, ultimately leading to organ dysfunction. Therefore, the expression of these cell membrane activation markers is not only a marker of cell activation, but also plays an important role in the process of vital organ injury after surgery. Identification of these specific activation markers is of great significance to elucidate the mechanisms related to organ injury and to find new prevention and treatment methods. This article will review the relationship between these activated biomarkers in the innate immune cells and vital organ injuries under CPB.

Pulmonary disease is one of the major threats to human health. However, the current clinical treatment drugs for lung diseases generally have problems such as low lung delivery efficiency, fast clearance rate and obvious toxic side effects. Recently, membrane biomimetic nanocarriers have attracted more and more attention. Due to their advantages of high targeting, long cycle time, good biocompatibility and strong immune escape ability, membrane biomimetic nanocarriers have become a major research hotspot in targeted therapy of lung diseases. In this review, we discuss the main preparation methods of membrane biomimetic nanoparticles, the characteristics of membrane biomimetic nanocarriers from different cell sources and their application in the targeted therapy of lung diseases. At the same time, according to the characteristics of different membranes, the shortcomings, current technical limitations and future prospects are discussed. This review is expected to provide references for the design of membrane biomimetic nanocarriers and their potential applications in the treatment of lung diseases.

Objective:To explore the expression of KAP1 (KRAB-associated protein 1, KAP1) in Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) based on the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) and clinical trials. And elucidate the correlation between the expression of KAP1 and the clinical pathological parameters of patients with MPM and its prognosis.Methods:In April 2022, Based on the second generation KAP1mRNA sequencing data and clinicopathological data of MPM patients downloaded from TCGA database, the correlation between KAP1mRNA expression and clinical parameters was analyzed, and the correlation between KAP1 protein expression and clinicopathological parameters and its prognostic value were analyzed based on Chuxiong data set cohort clinical samples. The expression of KAP1 mRNA in MPM samples and matched normal tumor adjacent tissues was detected by qRT-PCR, and the expression of KAP1 protein in MPM and normal pleural tissues was detected by immunohistochemistry and Westernblotting. To construct a Kaplan-Meier model to explore the effect of KAP1 expression on the prognosis of MPM patients, and to analyze the prognostic factors of MPM patients by Cox regression.Results:qRT-PCR and Western blotting detection showed that the expression levels of KAP1 gene in four different MPM cells (NCI-H28, NCI-H2052, NCI-H2452, and MTSO-211H) were significantly higher than those in normal pleural mesothelial cells Met-5A. qRT-PCR, Western blotting and IHC results demonstrated that the mRNA and protein expression levels of KAP1 in MPM tissues was significantly higher than that in matching normal mesothelial tissues, and the expression level of KAP1 protein was correlated with TP 53 protein expression levels and serum CEA levels ( P<0.05) . The mRNA expression level was significantly correlated with the prognosis, The overall survival time of mesothelioma patients with high KAP1mRNA expression was significantly shorter (HR=3.7, Logrank P<0.001) . Tumor type, age and the mRNA expression were related to the prognosis of MPM patients ( P<0.05) . Multivariate analysis showed that tumor type and KAP1 mRNA expression level were independent prognostic factors of MPM patients ( P<0.05) . Conclusion:In this study, TCGA database and Chuxiong cohort experiment samples were used to collect the relevant information of KAP1 expression in malignant melanoma tissues. It was confirmed that KAP1 is highly expressed in MPM tissues. The mRNA expression level and pathological type are correlated with the prognosis of patients.

Objective: To understand and assess the current situation of primary and secondary school students health services in community health service organizations in Shenzhen, so as to provide a basis for upgrading the capacity of health services. Methods: A total of 684 community health service organizations and 587 part time health vice principals in the Shenzhen City were selected for the study in June 2022, and the special questionnaire surveys regarding primary and secondary school students health service capacity and the community health service organizations and part time health vice principals performance ability were administered in Shenzhen. SPSS 26.0 software was used for a descriptive analysis. Results: The staffing rate of general practitioners or clinical physicians in Shenzhen s community health service organizations was 99.9%, 67.1% of community health service organizations established counterpart collaborative relationships with schools, 50.8% of community health service organizations provided diagnostic and treatment services for students, 24.8% of community health service organizations provided health check up services for students, 85.2% of community health service organizations provided health guidance to schools, and 94.3% of community health service organizations had a part time vice principal of health with a score of (7.63±1.59) in the self assessment of their ability to carry out their duties, and space constraints and shortage of nursing were the main problems in promoting student medical check ups in the community health service organizations. Conclusions The community health service organizations in Shenzhen suffer from inadequate medical service resources and inadequate training for professional staff, resulting in low service capacity for providing physical examinations and health management for primary and secondary school students. There is a need to further promote the integrated development of education and health, and continuously enhance service capabilities, to promote the orderly development of student health work.
