Objective:The study aimed to analyze the clinical and endoscopic characteristics of adult celiac disease (CD) to provide a scientific basis for more effective CD diagnosis and treatment. Methods:In this cross-sectional study, the clinical and endoscopic data of 96 adult CD patients treated in the Department of Gastroenterology of the People′s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from March 2016 to December 2021 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. Results:A total of 96 CD patients were diagnosed, including 33 men and 63 women. The average age was 47±14 years (range, 18-81 years). The disease occurred mainly in the age group of 31-60 years. The median course of the disease was 2.0 (0.2-40.0) years. There were 41 (42.7%) classical and 55 (57.3%) non-classical CD patients. All patients with classical CD showed chronic diarrhea, often accompanied by abdominal pain (46.3%, 19/41), abdominal distension (17.1%, 7/41), anemia (65.9%, 27/41), and chronic fatigue (48.8%, 20/41). The main manifestations of non-classical CD were chronic abdominal pain (58.2%, 32/55), abdominal distension (32.7%, 18/55), anemia (40.0%, 22/55), and osteopenia/osteoporosis (38.2%, 21/55). Compared with non-classical CD, anemia developed more frequently in classical CD, and the difference was statistically significant ( P = 0.012). The incidence of complications in CD patients was 36.5% (35/96), and the main complications were thyroid disease (19.8%, 19/96), connective tissue disease (6.2%, 6/96), and kidney disease (6.2%, 6/96). There was no significant difference between classical and non-classical CD ( P>0.05). The frequency of endoscopic manifestations in CD patients was 84.4% (81/96). Duodenal bulb endoscopy showed nodular changes (72.9%, 70/96), grooved changes (10.4%, 10/96), and focal villous atrophy (9.4%, 9/96). The main manifestations of descending endoscopy were the decrease, flattening, or disappearance of duodenal folds (43.8%, 42/96), scallop-like changes (38.5%, 37/96), and nodular changes (34.4%, 33/96). Conclusions:Adult CD patients are mostly female. CD occurred mainly in the age group of 31-60 years. The clinical manifestations were mainly those of non-classical CD. Some patients often had other autoimmune diseases. Patients with characteristic endoscopic manifestations should be warned about the possibility of developing CD. Clinicians should strengthen the understanding of CD and reduce the related rates of missed diagnosis.

		                        			BACKGROUND:
Most Chinese migrants have been faced with obstacles to getting access to local public health services. Young migrants among internal migrants make a major contribution to the economy. However, the establishment of their health records has been ignored. This research was aimed at exploring the status and associated factors of the establishment of health records among young Chinese migrants.

		                        			METHODS:
Data were obtained from the 2017 China Migrants Dynamic Survey (CMDS). Chi-square test and binary logistic regression were performed to investigate the associated factors of the establishment of health records among young Chinese migrants.

		                        			RESULTS:
Approximately 30.2% of young migrants had their health records established in inflow communities. Urban residence, medical insurance (insured), and lower average monthly household income were attributed to the establishment of more health records. Young migrants who were in northeast China and across provinces and immigrated for working or engaging in trade were less likely to have health records established. Young migrants who participated in social activities and public affairs activities and took type of people in touch as natives in the inflow area showed a higher possibility of establishing health records. Meanwhile, receiving health education and hearing about national basic public health services (BPHSs) were beneficial for establishing the health records of more young migrants.

		                        			CONCLUSION
This study showed that the health records of young migrants had a relatively low establishment rate. Sociodemographic and migration characteristics, health status, public health services, and social integration factors were all related to the health record establishment of young Chinese migrants.

		                        			BACKGROUND:
Limited published research has examined the relationships of negative life events and coping styles with sleep quality in Chinese junior high school students. We aimed to investigate the prevalence of poor sleep quality and to clarify the role of coping styles between negative life events and sleep quality.

		                        			METHODS:
A cross-sectional study of 3081 students was conducted in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, Southeastern China. Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Checklist, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, and Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index were applied to assess negative life events, coping styles, and sleep quality, respectively. Descriptive analyses, independent-samples t tests, one-way analyses of variance, Pearson correlation analyses, and structural equation modeling (SEM) were applied to analyze the data.

		                        			RESULTS:
The prevalence of poor sleep quality was 26.7%. Negative life events (B = 0.038, P < 0.001) and negative coping style (B = 0.049, P < 0.001) demonstrated a positive association with poor sleep quality, while positive coping style indicated a negative association with poor sleep quality (B = -0.029, P < 0.001). Interactions of negative life events and coping styles with sleep quality were not found (all P > 0.05). The association between negative life events and sleep quality was mediated by negative coping styles.

		                        			CONCLUSIONS
Our results indicated that poor sleep quality was common in these Chinese adolescents. Negative life events and negative coping style were associated with an increased prevalence of poor sleep quality, while the positive coping style was related to a decreased prevalence of poor sleep quality. A negative coping style mediated the association between negative life events and sleep quality.

OBJECTIVETo assess the association of four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (rs12190359C>T, rs562047C>G, rs1008438G>T, and rs1043618G>C) of HSPA1A gene with the development of cervical cancer among ethnic Han Chinese from Yunnan.
METHODSOne hundred and thirty patients with CIN III, 444 patients with cervical cancer, and 548 healthy individuals were recruited, and the genotypes of the above SNPs were determined with a Taqman assay. Haplotypes were constructed, and their association with the development of cervical cancer was analyzed.
RESULTSThe frequencies of G and T alleles of rs1008438G>T were significant different between the CIN III and control groups, as well as between the cancer and control groups (P=0.022 and P=0.030, respectively). There was a significant difference in genotypic frequency of rs1008438G>T between the CIN III and control groups (P=0.047). The allelic and genotypic frequencies of rs12190359C>T, rs562047C>G, and rs1043618G>C did not significantly differ between the CIN III, cervical cancer and control groups (P> 0.05). The frequencies of haplotypes formed by rs562047C>G, rs1008438G>T and rs1043618G>C also did not significantly differ between the CIN III, cancer and control groups (P> 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe G allele of rs1008438G>T may be a protective factor for cervical cancer among ethnic Han Chinese from Yunnan.

Objective To explore the effect of continuing nursing mode in women with stress urinary incontinence who accept the pelvic floor functional exercise at home. Methods By convenient sampling method, 60 patients with incontinence were selected, who received four weeks pelvic floor electrophysiological treatment and biofeedback treatment in Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and then received 12 weeks of pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy at home . All patients were divided into control group and observation group on average. The patients of the control group underwent routine health education, while the patients of the observation group were given pelvic floor muscle tissue by electrical stimulation and the continuation of nursing mode, then we compared two groups of maternal pelvic floor functional exercise adherence, 1 hours urine pad test for lateral leakage urine volume, ICI-Q-SF score for subjective improvement. Results After interventions, the excise compliance of pelvic floor muscle was better in the observation group than that of the control group (P<0.05); 3 and 6 months after intervention, the lateral leakage urine volumes were both decreased in two groups (P<0.05); both scores of ICI-Q-SF in two groups were improved, but that of the observation group was more obvious (P<0.05).Conclusions Planned continuing nursing mode can maintain and strengthen the clinical treatment of urinary incontinence, and increase the compliance of pelvic floor muscle function exercise in patients with urinary incontinence.

Objective To translate questionnaire for urinary incontinence diagnosis (QUID) into Chinese and to test its reliability and validity. Methods The English version of QUID was translated into Chinese. The clinaical data of 95 patinents with urinary incontinence who were test by urinary dynamic study in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from May 2014 to May 2015 were analyzed prospectively. The reliability of QUID was evaluated by completing QUID twice. The validity of QUID was evaluated by the standard of urinary dynamic study. Results Internal consistency (Cronbach α) of the items that pertained to stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and to urge urinary incontinence (UUI) were 0.91 and 0.89, respectively. Test-retest reliability (Kappa) was 0.795 and criterion validity (Kappa) was 0.62. Sensitivity and specificity were 83%(43/52) and 86%(37/43), respectively, for SUI, and 72%(13/18) and 86%(66/77), respectively, for UUI. Conclusions QUID has good reliability and validity. It could be used in Chinese urinary incontinence women.

Objective To evaluate continuous improvement of portable domestic pelvic floor neuromuscular electrical stimulation on the pelvic floor function of patients with stress urinary incontinence after short-term pelvic floor electrophysiological treatment in hospital. Methods Totally 60 women with stress urinary incontinence were recruited for this randomized controlled trial. The control group including a total of 30 patients, only received 4 weeks pelvic floor electrophysiological treatment in the hospital.Family consolidation treatment group (experimental group) including 30 patients, after 4-week treatment in hospital, received 12-week of pelvic floor neuromnuscular electrical stimulation using portable electrical stimulator at home under the guidance of doctors. In post-treatment 6 months and 9 months,1-hour pad test was measured for urine leakage, pelvic floor electrical physiological parameters were assessed, and subjective improvement of symptoms of urinary incontinence were evaluated. All these data were analysed to compare the effect of the two groups. Results In 9 months after treatment, average change of urine leakage, the control group and experiment group were (75±24)% versus (99±3)%,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).In the experiment group, strength of type Ⅰ muscle (4.4±0.7),strength of type Ⅱ muscle (4.8±0.4) and pelvic floor dynamic pressure [(96± 12) cmH2O,1 cmH2O=0.098 kPa] were better than those of control group [3.2± 1.0,4.3 ± 0.9,(86 ± 10) cmH2O,respectively],the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01).Subjective outcome, the control group and experiment group were (6.5 ±2.9) versus (1.8 ± 1.7),subjective outcome between the two groups had significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion After short-term pelvic floor electrophysiological treatment in hospital, the portable domestic pelvic floor neuromuscular electrical stimulation in patients with stress urinary incontinence is helpful to continuous improvement of pelvic floor function.
