The ancient books on traditional Chinese medicine are mainly covered in the comprehensive bibliogra-phies and special bibliographies of traditional Chinese medicine in the past ages.Their classification was thus de-scribed in the Seven-Classification System, Four-Classification System, Twelve-Classification System,Bibliogra-phy of medical collection and General Bibliography of ancient books on traditional Chinese medicine, followed by an analysis of the classification systems of ancient books on traditional Chinese medicine in the past ages and their evo-lution, which helps to search the medical literature from the vast ancient books according to their classification.

It is an important safeguard to realize TCM renovation,raise medical levels and fulfill TCM modernization by elevating information diathesis of TCM personnel.This paper introduced the contents of information diathesis,discussed the current situation of TCM person information diathesis and the importance of elevating their information diathesis.By different kinds of training,how to raise the information awareness,information acquisition ability and information morality of TCM information personnel were further expounded.

Based on the Chinese knowledge network,Wanfang Database,VIP database,Baidu,Google,we collected and sorted papers published by professor Liu Changlin over the past years,and made a statistical analysis with the use of bibliometric methods to summarize outcomes of professor Liu Changlin in the research of Chinese medicine philosophy.This article demonstrated a high academic value and status of professor Liu Changlin and to provide useful information for the further study of Chinese medicine philosophy.

Big Data is a new conception after scholars have proposed the conception of Web2.0 and cloud computing.This paper focuses on traditional Chinese medical researchers in order to meet the challenges of big data era.It is suggested that TCM scientific researchers should establish the idea of lifelong learning,and emphasize information literacy,in order to grasp for the latest medical researching information to make effective contributions to research innovation and human health.

The article introduces the character and the electronic resource of Library of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences's collection,mainly expatiates how to develop the knowledge service from three aspects:electronic resources serve evidence-based medicine,the frontier of traditional Chinese medicine and the knowledge of TCM found and utilization.

In this article,the connotation of the knowledge management and services as well as the relationship between them were introduced.The specific measures about how to carry out these management and services were described.

Objective To explore the application range and preponderance of different therapeutic methods of traditional medicines in overseas countries with retrospective studies on bibliographies of overseas traditional medicines. Methods All bibliographies were articles written in August 1964 to September 2009 and came from MEDLINE data base through searching 17 inferior words of"replacement therapy" in MeSH subject headings. Results We got altogether 10103 articles in 1633 kinds of periodicals concerned with replacement therapy, and summed up to 9841 effective articles in the end. Conclusion More and more attentions have been paid to traditional medicine in overseas countries; Such kinds of articles were mostly published in American and British medical periodicals; articles with advanced technologies and high reliability have more chances to be adopted by medical periodicals; traditional Chinese medicine plays a leading role in the fields of traditional medicines in the whole world; replacement therapy were increasingly adopted to deal with disease protection and health care.

The article analyzed the phenomenon of changing names of Chinese medical journal in recent years,together with the influence of this changing,and put forward some relative management measures.

Objective In this article, the mode change and features of knowledge service of TCM professional library in the creation times were expounded. Knowledge service is the main trend of library service in the 21 century. As a professional TCM library, we have made attempts on providing omnibearing knowledge service of medicine, scientific research, teaching and clinical practice for our readers.

Object Under the premise of protecting periodicals published in Republic of China, these periodicals were processed with digitalization for the purpose of being utilized in a easy way. Methods Oracle 9i database software was used to establish database table structure. Periodicals published in Republic of China were selected, periodicals pictures were processed and the literature subjects were indexed before databases retrieval system of these periodicals was made and published. Results A full text data base retrieval system containing 20 kinds of periodicals published in Republic of China was established, to provide both retrieval from multi-angles and picture browsing of the full text. Conclusion Digitalization technique is a way of reproducible protection and utilization of periodicals published in Republic of China.
