Microribonucleic acid (miRNAs) is a widely existing endogenous single-stranded non-coding small RNA, which is stably expressed in tissues and body fluids. By complementing messenger RNA(mRNA) sequences, miRNAs degrade target mRNA and block the expression of protein-coding genes, playing a key role in post-transcriptional regulation and different biological processes. In recent years, more and more studies have shown that miRNAs are closely related to the occurrence and development of tumors. Among them, as a member of the miRNAs family, microribonucleic acid-196 (miR-196) is abnormally expressed in the serum, tissues and cells of patients with non-small cell lung cancer, participating in the occurrence and development of non-small cell lung cancer and playing an important regulatory role in various biological processes such as proliferation, invasion and metastasis, providing diagnostic evidence for early screening of non-small cell lung cancer. This paper reviews the progress of miR-196 in the development and diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer.

Galactinol synthase (GolS) is a key enzyme in the biosynthetic pathway of raffinose family oligosaccharides (RFOs) and plays an important role in plant responses to abiotic stresses. However, the molecular characteristics of the GolS family members in soybean was not well-known. In this study, six members of GmGolS gene family were genome-widely identified, and their physicochemical properties, chromosomal localization, evolutionary relationship, gene structure, conserved motifs, secondary structure, tertiary structure, tissue-specific expression patterns and the expression levels under salt and drought stresses were analyzed. The results showed that six soybean GolS genes were unevenly distributed on four chromosomes, the range of the isoelectric points of six GmGolS proteins was 5.45-6.08, the molecular weight range was 37 567.07-38 817.59 Da, and the number of amino acids was 324-339 aa. The results of subcellular localization showed that 4 proteins were located in the chloroplast, and 2 proteins in the cytoplasm. Phylogenetic tree analysis showed that the members of the soybean GolS gene family were closely adjacent to each other, and were evolutionarily conservative. Six gene members contain 3 or 4 exons. Prediction of secondary and tertiary structures showed that the spatial structure of proteins of all family members was mainly composed of α-helix and random coil structure, with less β-turn and extended chain structure. Tissue-specific expression analysis showed that six GmGolS members expressed to variable degrees in seeds, roots, root hairs, flowers, stems, pods, nodules and leaves. Expression analysis based on qRT-PCR showed that all GmGolS genes showed different degrees of up-regulated expression under salt and drought treatment, indicating that these genes may be related to the response of plants to salt-tolerance and drought-resistance. These results may facilitate subsequent functional analysis of soybean GolS genes.

Objective:To explore the existing issues in radiation protection during the treatment of 131I by means of measuring the ambient dose equivalent rate to patients with thyroid cancer and the dose equivalent to the surface of chest of patients during hospitalization. Methods:The ambient dose equivalent rate (peer) was measured by using gamma ray detector for selected 78 patients who received 131I treatment in a hospital 10 min, 1 d, 2 d, 3 d and 5 d after administration with 131I. The measurements were made at distances of 5 cm, 0.5 m and 1 m from the body surface in front, rear, left and right directions. The photoluminescence dosimeter on the chest of the patients was used to measure the effective dose during hospitalization period (6 d). Results:The ambient dose equivalent rate on the surface of chest of patients was up to 4.81 mSv/h 10 min after administration of medicine. The dose equivalent on the surface of chest of patients before discharge ranged 2.6-64.1 μSv/h. The cumulative dose on chest surface during hospitalization was 15.9-58.8 mGy. There was a significant difference in the dose rate at 5 cm from the body surface between 3.7 GBq group and 5.55 GBq group 10 min after medication ( t=-6.11, P<0.05). There was a significant difference in the dose rate at 5 cm from the body surface between male and female groups 10 min after medication ( t=4.52, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in other groups ( P > 0.05). Conclusions:During the 131I treatment, patients had high level of radiation around them, so it is necessary to strengthen the protection and management of patients and reduce unnecessary exposure to the public.

The questionnaires were given to children,who were diagnosed to be asthmatic during the national epidemiological survey of asthma in chil-dren in 31 cities from September 2009 to August 2010. Non - asthmatic children,matched with the cases in age and gender,were selected during the same survey as control subjects if they were matched with the cases in age and sex. In-formation regarding the food allergen and symptom of food - induced anaphylaxis was analyzed. The difference in food allergy was compared between children with or without bronchial asthma. Results As a result,9235 asthmatic children and 11391 control subjects were enrolled in the case - control study. There were 14. 66%(1354 / 9235 cases)of the asthmatic children who had food allergy,compared to 3. 99%(455 / 11391 cases)of the non - asthmatics children, and the findings showed a significant difference (χ2 = 725. 25,P < 0. 001). The most common food allergens were fish and shrimp in both groups,and the difference was not significant [44. 09% (597 / 1354 cases)vs. 42. 20% (192 / 455 cases),χ2 = 0. 50,P > 0. 05]. The rate of peanut allergy was 4. 58% (62 / 1354 cases)and 1. 54% (7 / 455 cases) (χ2 = 8. 58,P < 0. 05),respectively. And the rates of fruit allergy in the asthmatic group and the non - asthmatic group were 14. 03%(190 / 1354 cases)and 27. 69%(126 / 455 cases)(χ2 = 44. 01,P < 0. 05),respectively. Cutaneous and nasal symptoms were common clinical manifestations. The rates of rash,pruritus,and swelling sympions were 47. 27%(640 / 1354 cases)and 61. 32%(279 / 455 cases)(χ2 = 26. 90,P < 0. 001),respectively for asthmatic group and non -asthmatic group. Rates of nasal symptoms were 17. 13%(232 / 1354 cases)and 10. 55%(48 / 455 cases)(χ2 = 11. 29, P = 0. 001),respectively in the asthmatic group and the non - asthmatic groups. Respiratory symptoms,such as cough and wheezing,were 25. 33%(343 / 1354 cases)and 5. 49%(25 / 455 cases)(χ2 = 80. 72,P < 0. 001)in 2 groups. Twenty cases of 1354 asthmatic children had severe food allergy,while such severe conditions occurred only 1 child without asthma (455 cases)occurred severe condition (1. 48% vs. 0. 22%,χ2 = 4. 96,P < 0. 05). Conclusion The-rate of food allergen sensitization is highly prevalent in the children with asthma.
