Pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD)is a common clinical problem that can lead to bladder and bowel dysfunction such as urinary incontinence, urinary retention, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction.Pelvic floor rehabilitation aids are essential tools in the treatment of PFD.However, there is limited understanding of the efficacy and mechanisms of these aids, and there is a lack of standardized guidelines for selecting appropriate aids for different types of PFD.To assist patients in choosing suitable pelvic floor rehabilitation aids to their needs,it is necessary to summarize the existing types, mechanisms, and applications of these aids.Based on their mechanisms and target functions, pelvic floor rehabilitation aids can be mainly categorized into 3 main types. The first type includes aids that improve pelvic floor function, such as vaginal dumbbells, vaginal tampons, and vaginal dilators, which aim to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and enhance the contractility of the urethral, vaginal, and anal sphincters, thereby improving incontinence symptoms. The second type consists of aids that mechanically block the outlet, such as pessaries, urethral plugs, incontinence pads, incontinence pants, anal plugs, and vaginal bowel control systems, which directly or indirectly prevent incontinence leakage. The third type includes aids that assist in outlet drainage, such as catheters and anal excreta collection devices, which help patients effectively expel urine, feces, and other waste materials, preventing incontinence leakage.By summarizing the existing pelvic floor rehabilitation aids, personalized guidance can be provided to patients with PFD,helping them select the appropriate aids for their rehabilitation needs.

Two male patients (75 years and 51 years, respectively) suffered infection of novel coronavirus after minimally invasive surgery for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in Sichuan Cancer Hospital since December 2022. Both patients developed severe hypoxemia after surgery, and were treated with advanced oxygen therapy, antiviral therapy, hormone shock therapy, antibiotic anti-infection and nutritional support. The two patients stayed in the intensive care unit for 6 days and 8 days respectively. They were transferred to the general ward for symptomatic treatment and were discharged successfully. Both patients required low-flow oxygen maintenance after discharge. On the 20th day of follow-up after discharge, patient 1 still needed low-flow oxygen, his oxygen saturation could be maintained above 97%, but intermittent deoxygenation could be performed for half an hour. Patient 2 was in good condition on 35 days after discharge.

Objective:To investigate the epidemiological characteristics, diagnosis, treat-ment and prognosis of gallbladder cancer in China from 2010 to 2017.Methods:The single disease retrospective registration cohort study was conducted. Based on the concept of the real world study, the clinicopathological data, from multicenter retrospective clinical data database of gallbladder cancer of Chinese Research Group of Gallbladder Cancer (CRGGC), of 6 159 patients with gallbladder cancer who were admitted to 42 hospitals from January 2010 to December 2017 were collected. Observation indicators: (1) case resources; (2) age and sex distribution; (3) diagnosis; (4) surgical treatment and prognosis; (5) multimodality therapy and prognosis. The follow-up data of the 42 hospitals were collected and analyzed by the CRGGC. The main outcome indicator was the overall survival time from date of operation for surgical patients or date of diagnosis for non-surgical patients to the end of outcome event or the last follow-up. Measurement data with normal distribu-tion were represented as Mean±SD, and comparison between groups was conducted using the t test. Measurement data with skewed distribution were represented as M( Q1, Q3) or M(range), and com-parison between groups was conducted using the U test. Count data were described as absolute numbers or percentages, and comparison between groups was conducted using the chi-square test. Univariate analysis was performed using the Logistic forced regression model, and variables with P<0.1 in the univariate analysis were included for multivariate analysis. Multivariate analysis was performed using the Logistic stepwise regression model. The life table method was used to calculate survival rates and the Kaplan-Meier method was used to draw survival curves. Log-rank test was used for survival analysis. Results:(1) Case resources: of the 42 hospitals, there were 35 class A of tertiary hospitals and 7 class B of tertiary hospitals, 16 hospitals with high admission of gallbladder cancer and 26 hospitals with low admission of gallbladder cancer, respectively. Geographical distribution of the 42 hospitals: there were 9 hospitals in central China, 5 hospitals in northeast China, 22 hospitals in eastern China and 6 hospitals in western China. Geographical distribution of the 6 159 patients: there were 2 154 cases(34.973%) from central China, 705 cases(11.447%) from northeast China, 1 969 cases(31.969%) from eastern China and 1 331 cases(21.611%) from western China. The total average number of cases undergoing diagnosis and treatment in hospitals of the 6 159 patients was 18.3±4.5 per year, in which the average number of cases undergoing diagnosis and treatment in hospitals of 4 974 patients(80.760%) from hospitals with high admission of gallbladder cancer was 38.8±8.9 per year and the average number of cases undergoing diagnosis and treatment in hospitals of 1 185 patients(19.240%) from hospitals with low admission of gallbladder cancer was 5.7±1.9 per year. Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2022;47(7):928-935
Objective: Cerebrovascular disease can be roughly divided into 2 subtypes: Cerebral ischemia (CI) and cerebral hemorrhage (CH). No scale currently exist that can predict the subtypes of cerebrovascular diseases. This study aims to establish a prediction scale for the subtypes of cerebrovascular diseases. Methods:A total of 1200 cerebrovascular disease patients were included in this study, data from 1081 (90%) patients were used to establish the CI-CH risk scale, and data from 119 (10%) patients were used to test it. Risk factors for the CI-CH risk scale were identified by 2 screens, with two-tailed student ' s t-test and two-tailed Fisher ' s exact test preliminarily and with logistic regression analysis further. The scores of each risk factor for CI-CH risk scale were determined according to the odds rate, and the cut-off point was determined by Youden index. Results: Nine risk factors were ultimately selected for score system, including age (≥75 years old was ?1, <75 years old was 0), BMI (<24 kg/m2 was 0, 24?28 kg/m2 was ?1,>28 kg/m2 was?2), hypertension grade (grade 1 was 1, grade 2 was 2, and grade 3 was 3), diabetes status (no was 0, yes was?1), antihypertensive drug use (no was 0, yes was?2), alcohol consumption (<60 g/d was 1, ≥60 g/d was 2), uric acid (less than normal was 0, normal was?1, high than normal was?2), LDL cholesterol (<2 mmol/L was 0, 2?4 mmol/L was?1, and>4 mmol/L was?2), and HDL cholesterol (<1.55 mmol/L was 0,≥1.55 mmol/L was 2). Patients with a score more than 0 were classified as the CH group, Conversely, they were assigned to the CI group;its sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 74.5%, 77.9%, and 76.4%, respectively. Conclusion: The CI-CH risk scale can help the clinician predict the subtypes of cerebrovascular diseases.

Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics 2022;(6):1078-1091
Bivalves are species-rich mollusks with prominent protective roles in coastal ecosystems.Across these ancient lineages,colony-founding larvae anchor themselves either by byssus produc-tion or by cemented attachment. The latter mode of sessile life is strongly molded by left-right shell asymmetry during larval development of Ostreoida oysters such as Crassostrea hongkongensis. Here,we sequenced the genome of C.hongkongensis in high resolution and compared it to reference bivalve genomes to unveil genomic determinants driving cemented attachment and shell asymmetry.Importantly, loss of the homeobox gene Antennapedia(Antp)and broad expansion of lineage-specific extracellular gene families are implicated in a shift from byssal to cemented attachment in bivalves.Comparative transcriptomic analysis shows a conspicuous divergence between left-right asymmetrical C.hongkongensis and symmetrical Pinctada fucata in their expression profiles.Especially,a couple of orthologous transcription factor genes and lineage-specific shell-related gene families including that encoding tyrosinases are elevated, and may cooperatively govern asymmet-rical shell formation in Ostreoida oysters.

Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases 2021;29(6):400-405
Objective :
To investigate the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of lymphoepithelial carcinoma of the parotid gland.
Methods:
Data from 22 patients with parotid lymphoepithelial carcinoma from 2012 to 2019 were collected, and their clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, treatment methods and follow-up results were retrospectively analyzed.
Results:
Among the 22 patients, 8 were males and 14 were females. The patients ranged from 26 to 61 years old, with a complaint duration ranging from 3 days to 18 years. One patient had multiple unilateral lumps in the parotid gland, and the other 21 patients had single unilateral lumps in the parotid gland. All patients underwent preoperative spiral CT examination. CT showed a soft tissue lump in the parotid tissue, the internal density shadow was not uniform, the CT value ranged from 26 to 81 Hu, and 15 patients presented elliptical lesions with clear boundaries. Seven patients presented nodular lesions, and the boundary was not clear. The diagnosis of all cases was ultimately based on pathological examination. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining images showed active epithelial cell growth with atypia, mitotic figures could be seen, and abundant lymphocyte and plasma cell infiltration could be seen in the tumor stroma. All 22 patients received surgical treatment; 9 patients did not undergo cervical lymph node dissection. Twenty patients received adjuvant radiotherapy after surgery, and 10 of them received adjuvant chemotherapy at the same time. One patient only received chemotherapy after surgery, and one patient did not receive any other adjuvant therapy after surgery. All patients received follow-up visits. One patient died of liver metastasis 16 months after the operation, and the remaining patients survived without tumors for periods of 13 months to 8 years until the present.
Conclusion
Parotid lymphoepithelial carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor clinically. Pathology is still the gold standard for the diagnosis of lymphoepithelial carcinoma of the parotid gland. Radical resection of the tumor is the first choice of treatment. Selective neck lymph node dissection and postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy can obtain better therapeutic effects according to clinical examination, imaging examination and neck conditions.

Objective:To explore the safety and efficacy of Castor branched stent-graft exclusion in the treatment of aortic dissection and aneurysm involving left subclavian artery. Methods:The clinical and imaging data of 88 patients with aortic dissection or aneurysm involving left subclavian artery diagnosed by CTA or DSA in our hospital from December 2017 to December 2019 were collected retrospectively, including 67 aorta dissections, 7 thoracic aortic aneurysms and 14 aorta penetrating ulcer. All patients were treated with branched stent-graft under the guidance of DSA. The postoperative curative effect and complications were observed. The paired t test was used to compare the maximum aortic diameter of the lesion before and 6 months after the operation. Results:Eighty-eight patients were successfully treated with integrated stent, the success rate of operation was 100%, and the disease-related symptoms of all patients were basically or completely relieved. The mortality rate within 1 month after the operation was 2.7% (2/88). The two deaths were complicated with other serious diseases before the operation, and the cause of death was not related the operation. All patients were followed up except 4 patients who lost contact after discharge. During the follow-up, there were 1 case of retrograde type A dissection, 1 case of new aneurysm of aortic arch, 2 cases of in-stent stenosis of left subclavian artery branch, 3 cases of mild stroke, no persistent endoleak and no death or other serious complications. The mean maximum aortic diameter at 6 months after operation [(34±4)mm] was significantly lower than that before operation [(38±6 mm)] ( t=6.63, P<0.05). Conclusion:Castor branched stent-graft is simple, mini-invasive and effective in the treatment of aortic dissection and aneurysms involving the left subclavian artery.

Journal of Medical Biomechanics 2021;36(1):E151-E157
Invasive neural electrodes promote human understanding of neuroscience to the micrometer and millisecond scale. Due to the large mechanical mismatch between traditional rigid electrodes and soft brain tissues, flexible electrodes have become the new trend of neural electrodes. The flexibility of the neural electrode reduces the immune response while losing the implantation stiffness. The implantation mechanism of the neural electrode was reviewed and current researches on the implantation strategies of the flexible electrodes were summarized, so as to help solve the loss of implantation ability of flexible electrode and acute implantation injury. Based on the characteristics of various implantation strategies, the prospect of flexible electrode implantation strategies was proposed.

Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2020;29(11):986-990
Objective:To investigate the regulatory mechanism of long-chain non-coding RNA (lncRNA) MEG3 on the sensitivity of lung cancer cell line H1299 to irradiation. Methods:The expression of MEG3 and miR-21-5p in lung cancer cell line H1299 was detected by qRT-PCR. Overexpression control group (transfected with pcDNA3.1), MEG3 overexpression group (transfected with pcDNA3.1-MEG3), miR-NC inhibition group (transfected anti-miR-NC), miR-21-5p inhibition group (transfected with anti-miR-21-5p), MEG3 overexpression+ miR-NC overexpression group (co-transfected with pcDNA3.1-MEG3 and miR-NC), MEG3 overexpression+ miR-21-5p overexpression group (co-transfected with pcDNA3.1-MEG3 and miR-21-5p mimics) were all transfected into H1299 cells by liposome method treated with 4 Gy irradiation. Cell survival fraction was detected by colony formation assay. Cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. The binding of MEG3 to miR-21-5p in cells was assessed by dual luciferase reporter assay. Results:Compared with normal lung epithelial cells, the expression of MEG3 was significantly decreased, whereas the expression of miR-21-5p was significantly increased in the radioresistant lung cancer cells H1299. Overexpression of MEG3 or inhibition of miR-21-5p could promote the apoptosis and enhance the radiosensitivity of H1299 cells. MEG3 could targetedly regulate the expression of miR-21-5p. Overexpression of miR-21-5p could reverse the enhanced radiosensitivity of MEG3 to H1299 cells. Conclusion:LncRNA MEG3 can enhance the sensitivity of lung cancer cells H1299 to irradiation. The mechanism may be related to targeting miR-21-5p.
