Objective To investigate the trends in areas of Oncomelania hupensis snail habitats in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023, so as to provide insights into facilitating the progress of schistosomiasis elimination in the province. Methods Areas of O. hupensis snail habitats in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023 were collected, and the trends in and mutations of O. hupensis snail habitats in Anhui Province, and the trends in O. hupensis snail habitats in different types of schistosomiasis-endemic foci and in different cities of Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023 were analyzed using Mann-Kendall test. Results The areas of O. hupensis snail habitats reduced by 12.62% in Anhui Province in 2023 relative to in 2004. Mann-Kendall trend test showed that the areas of O. hupensis snail habitats appeared a tendency towards a decline in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023 (Z = −3.926, P < 0.001, β = −215.66), with an annual average reduction of 215.66 hm2. Mann-Kendall mutation test showed that the areas of O. hupensis snail habitats appeared a tendency towards a decline in Anhui Province since 2015 (|Z| > U0.05, P < 0.05). The areas of O. hupensis snail habitats appeared a tendency towards a decline in marshland and lake regions (Z = −4.899, P < 0.001, β = −260.13), and a tendency towards a rise in hilly regions of Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023 (Z = 2.758, P < 0.01, β = 44.55). Among 9 cities endemic for schistosomiasis in Anhui Province, the areas of O. hupensis snail habitats appeared a tendency towards a decline in 5 cities of Ma’anshan, Tongling, Anqing, Huangshan and Chizhou (Z = −4.056 to −2.109, all P values < 0.05, β = −92.12 to −0.45). The average constituent ratios of areas of O. hupensis snail habitats were 88.19% and 11.81% in marshland and lake regions and hilly regions of Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023, respectively, and the ratio of areas of O. hupensis snail habitats in marshland and lake regions to areas of snail habitats in hilly regions reduced from 9.23∶1 in 2004 to 5.74∶1 in 2023 in Anhui Province, with the ratio appearing a tendency towards a decline (Z = −4.477, P < 0.001, β = −0.16). Conclusions The areas of O. hupensis snail habitats appeared a tendency towards a decline in Anhui Province from 2004 to 2023, with a reduction in areas of O. hupensis snail habitats in marshland and lake regions and a rise in hilly regions. Targeted O. hupensis snail control interventions are required tailored to real snail status.

Based on the inheritance, the research group summarized the transmissive pathogenesis of depression in three typical stages, formulating the stepward treatment units which included Chinese medicine, acupuncture and TCM characterized psychotherapy, and formed a sequential treatment plan that balanced the principle of strengthening healthy Qi to eliminate pathogens, active and passive treatment, physical therapy and psychotherapy. Based on the retrospective analyses, ten typical clinical syndromes have been formed, constituting the pattern differentiation of "Three Phases, Five internal organs and Ten syndromes" for depression, which sysmatically showed the TCM syndrome differentiation. This work promoted the experiences and methods of treating depression by Chinese medicine.

Objective To analyze the use of the semantic type of the top-level ontology of military medicine in order to find problems with the semantic type framework and make it more scientific and comprehensive. Methods Using data driven method, the frequency with which the semantic type of the top-level ontology of military medicine was used in military medical core concepts was statistically analyzed. Results By ranking the use frequency of the semantic types, the semantic types which had higher or lower frequency, and those that had never been used were analyzed. Conclusion The established semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine is basically consistent with the expression of military medical knowledge and can be constantly updated and improved with the development of military medicine.

In order to construct an Escherichia coli strain with high sensitivity and specificity to detect arsenic ion using fluorescence as reporter, a sensitive strain to arsenic ion was obtained by knocking out the gene arsB that acts as an arsenic efflux pump. The pET28b vector containing arsenite detecting cassette Pars-arsR-egfp was constructed and then transformed into arsB deleted mutant. Measuring conditions of this constructed whole-cell biosensor were optimized and its linear concentration range, limit of detection and specificity were determined. This modified biosensor was much more sensitive than that using wild-type strain as host. The optimal detection range of As³⁺ concentration was 0.013 to 42.71 μmol/L, and the limit concentration of detection was as low as 5.13 nmol/L. Thus we successfully improved the sensitivity of arsenite detecting biosensor by modification of E. coli genome, which may provide useful strategies for development and optimization of microbial sensors to detect heavy metals.

Objective To explore the construction method of semantic types of military medical ontology and to establish a framework for the semantic types of the top-level ontology of military medicine in order to lay the foundation for the construction of military medical ontology and provide support for knowledge organization, knowledge disclosure and knowledge service of military medical information resources. Methods Using the method of document measurement, the core concept set of military medicine was constructed. On the basis of the framework of the top-level semantic types of Unified Medical Language System(UMLS), the semantic type framework was completed by the combination of bottom-up and top-down modes, using semantic analysis and expert consultation. Results By classifying the same kind of knowledge points of military medicine into one semantic type, the hierarchical structure of the semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine was obtained. Conclusion The proposed method is effective and practical for the construction of the semantic types of military medical ontology. The established semantic type framework of the top-level ontology of military medicine could reconstruct military medical knowledge and provide the basic framework for the establishment of the semantic relationships of the top-level ontology of military medicine.

An information service platform was constructed for infectious disease epidemic by standard collecting, organizing and systematizing the information of related infectious diseases, which could provide information support service for data store, knowledge share, online education and decision-making. The platform is consisted of special news module, self-developed database module, encyclopedic knowledge module and background management module, and can thus meet the needs of related persons in countries and regions along the One Belt and One Road.

Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2016;25(10):27-31
The theories used in construction of military medical ontology are the prerequisite of applying ontology theory to the organization of military medical knowledge, which helps to clarify the concepts in relation with the construction of military medical ontology. The current standards for military medical terms and the difficulties in construction of military medical ontology were analyzed according to the target to be achieved. The basic theories used in construction of military medical ontology were elaborated from its concepts, needs, and complexity.

Objective T o observe cardiac ultrastructure and the expression of heat shock protein 70 (H SP70) and hypoxia inducible factor-1α (H IF-1α) in electric shock death rats and to explore the application of these indexes as the basis of m edical identification in electric shock death. Methods Seventy-tw o SD rats w ere random ly divided into electric shock death group, postm ortem electric shock group and the control group. T he changes of m yocardial ultrastructure w ere observed by transm ission electron m icro-scope, and the expressions of m yocardial H SP70 and H IF-1α w ere observed by im m unohistochem ical technology. Results M yocardial m yofibril fracture, m itochondrial cristae and m em brane dissolution, and disordered arrangem ent of Z lines and M lines w ere observed in electric shock rats. H SP70 and H IF-1αw ere strong positive expressions in the electric shock death group, significantly com pared w ith the con-trol and postm ortem electric shock groups (P<0.05). Conclusion T he expressions of H SP70 and H IF-1αw ere obviously increased in electric shock death group, w hich m ay be used as the diagnostic indicator of electric shock death.
