		                        			Objective:
To explore the association of screening myopia and sitting posture habits as well as screen viewing distance among primary school students, providing a scientific basis for myopia prevention and intervention among primary school students.

		                        			Methods:
From April to June 2024, a convenient sampling method was used to enroll 1 394 fourth grade students from four primary schools in a district of Beijing for vision examinations and questionnaire surveys. Logistic regression models were employed to analyze the relationship of screening myopia detection and sitting posture habits as well as viewing distance.

		                        			Results:
The screening myopia prevalence among primary school students was 63.8%. About 13.1% of students self reported poor sitting posture, and 47.1% selfreported a viewing distance of ≤20 cm. After adjusting for covariates including age, gender, school, sleep quality, parental myopia status, physical fitness level, daily high intensity physical activity, weekend outdoor activity time and types of after school services, Logistic regression analysis showed that students with poor sitting posture were more likely to have screening myopia than those with normal sitting posture ( OR =1.73,95% CI =1.03-2.92); students with a viewing distance of ≤20 cm were more likely to have screening myopia than those with a viewing distance of >20 cm( OR =1.32, 95% CI =1.02-1.71)( P <0.05). The association between sitting posture and screening myopia was more significant among boys( OR =2.00, 95% CI =1.03-3.88, P < 0.05 ). A multiplicative interaction was observed between sitting posture and viewing distance. Compared to primary school students with normal posture and a viewing distance of >20 cm, those with poor posture and a viewing distance of >20 cm were more likely to have screening myopia ( OR =1.82, 95% CI =1.12-2.96, P <0.05).

		                        			Conclusions
Both sitting posture habits and screen viewing distance are related to screening myopia in primary school students. Poor sitting posture poses a higher risk than screen distance, and the two factors exhibit an interactive effect on myopia risk.

		                        			Objective:
To investigate the correlation between social jetlag and psychological behavior in upper primary school students,so as to provide reference for sleep health promotion in primary school students.

		                        			Methods:
From April to June 2024, a survey was conducted among 4 341 fourth and fifth grade students from 9 public primary schools in a district in Beijing. Sleep patterns were assessed using a self designed questionnaire, while psychological behavior was evaluated using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ)(parent version). A generalized estimating equation (GEE) model was used to examine the association between different levels of social jetlag and psychological behavior problem scores in primary school students.

		                        			Results:
The proportions of students with social jetlag of <1.0, 1.0-<2.0, and ≥2.0 h were 57.6%, 30.6%, and 11.8%, respectively. The GEE model analysis found that after adjusting for covariates, compared with primary school students with social jetlag of <1.0 h, those with 1.0 -<2.0 and ≥2.0 h had higher scores for internalizing behavior problems [ β (95% CI ) =0.23(0.05-0.41),0.28(0.02-0.54), P < 0.01]. Primary school students with ≥2.0 h of social jetlag had higher scores for externalizing behavior problems [ β (95% CI )=0.42 (0.13-0.71), P <0.01]. Among boys and primary school students with an average nighttime sleep duration of ≥9 h, comparied with social jetlag of <1.0 h,those with sucial jetlag 1.0-<2.0 h had higher scores on internalizing and externalizing behavior problems[ β (95% CI )=0.32(0.07-0.56),0.51 (0.11-0.90), 0.26 (0.06-0.46),0.58 (0.25-0.91), P <0.05].

		                        			Conclusions
Greater social jetlag may be a risk factor for internalizing and externalizing behavior problems in upper primary school students. Reducing social jetlag may help decrease the occurrence of psychological behavior problems in primary school students.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Tongxinluo capsules on the use of anti-ischemic drugs in patients with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) of Qi deficiency and blood stasis. MethodA multicenter, prospective cohort study was conducted, with Tongxinluo capsules intervention as the exposure factor. Patients were divided into an exposed group (combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine) and a non-exposed group (western medicine alone),and followed up for one year. The use of anti-ischemic drugs was observed on the day of enrollment and at 3,6,12 months. ResultA total of 186 patients were enrolled, with 128 in the exposed group and 58 in the non-exposed group. There were no statistically significant differences in baseline characteristics between the two groups. At the 3-month follow-up,the types of first-line anti-ischemic drugs used in the exposed group were significantly fewer than those in the non-exposed group (P<0.01),and this difference remained statistically significant at 6 months (P<0.05) but was no longer significant at 12 months. At the 3- and 6-month follow-ups,there were no significant differences between the two groups in the types of second-line anti-ischemic drugs used. However,at the 12-month follow-up,the types of second-line anti-ischemic drugs used in the exposed group were significantly fewer than those in the non-exposed group (P<0.01). At the 3-month follow-up,both groups showed a reduction in the types of first-line anti-ischemic drugs used compared to baseline (P<0.05),with a more pronounced reduction in the exposed group (P<0.05). At the 6-month follow-up,the exposed group showed a significant reduction in the types of second-line anti-ischemic drugs used compared to baseline (P<0.05),while no significant changes were observed in the non-exposed group. At the 12-month follow-up,the difference in the types of second-line anti-ischemic drugs between the exposed and non-exposed groups was statistically significant (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in the types of first-line anti-ischemic drugs. ConclusionTongxinluo capsules can effectively reduce the use of anti-ischemic drugs in patients with CCS of Qi deficiency and blood stasis.

This article is to illustrate the connection between neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) and stasis-toxin interactions during the development of liver cancer, and to provide ideas for the prevention and treatment of liver cancer. It is believed that the mechanism of tumor-related thrombosis formation caused by NETs is closely related to "stasis" in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and the continuous maintenance or enhancement of tumor microenvironment by NETs is closely related to "toxin" in TCM; the strong coagulation-promoting effect of NETs makes the local microenvironment, which can be regarded as the toxin caused by blood stasis; the changes of tumor microenvironment induced by NETs further induced platelet aggregation, which may present a state of stasis caused by toxin; the pathological changes of liver cancer caused by NETs can be regarded as the microscopic manifestation of the mechanism of stasis-toxin interaction of liver cancer.

Talents are the main force for the development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), and the construction of TCM talents and the reformation of talent evaluation system are essential to promote the inheritance and innovation of TCM. At present, we are still exploring and developing in the fields of the formulation, implementation and evaluation indicators of TCM talent evaluation system. However, there are shortcomings and difficulties. For instance, insufficient stratification in the evaluation, excessive emphasis on the quantity of achievements, neglecting the quality of the achievements and the actual contribution, imperfect assessment indicators, and the weak characteristics of TCM. Therefore, national ministries and commissions have jointly issued a document requesting to break the four only and set a new standard, in order to promote the construction of a scientific and technological talent evaluation system oriented by innovation value, ability and contribution. For the evaluation of TCM clinical talents, China Association for Science and Technology commissioned China Association of Chinese Medicine to build the China Clinical Cases Library of TCM(CCCL-TCM), which aims at collecting the most authoritative and representative TCM clinical cases and exploring the advantages of applying clinical cases as masterpiece of achievement in TCM clinical talents evaluation. CCCL-TCM can promote the construction of a talent evaluation system that is more in line with the development characteristics of TCM industry, and to carry out relevant pilot in TCM colleges and institutions across the country in order to promote the reformation of TCM talent evaluation system.

The theory of disease prevention with traditional Chinese medicine is introduced into the prevention of chronic diseases such as hypertension. In order to fully implement the advantages of acupuncture, the three-level prevention strategy is strengthened on the whole-process intervention with acupuncture for hypertension, including prevention before disease onset, starting intervention at the early phase, and prevention disease from exacerbating. Moreover, the comprehensive management scheme, multidisciplinary coordination and participation mechanism are investigated in the field of traditional Chinese medicine for preventive treatment of hypertension.

Objective: To construct paraquat (PQ) poisoning rat model and to explore the effect of pirfenidone (PFD) on PQ-induced pulmonary fibrosis. Methods: In April 2017, male 6-8 week-old Wistar rats were selected, and PQ was administered intraperitoneally at one time. PFD was administered by gavage 2 hours after poisoning. The daily gavage doses were 100, 200 and 300 mg/kg, and the rats were divided into physiological saline group, PQ group, PQ+PFD 100 group, PQ+PFD 200 group, PQ+PFD 300 group, with 10 rats in each group at each observation time point. The pathological changes of lung tissue at different time points (the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 28th, 42nd and 56th days) after poisoning and the effect of PFD intervention with different dose on PQ-induced pulmonary fibrosis were observed. Pathological evaluation of lung tissue was performed by Ashcroft scale method. The PQ+PFD 200 group was selected to further explore the pathological changes of lung tissue, the contents of hydroxyproline and malondialdehyde in lung tissue were determined. And the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) -α, interleukin (IL) -6, transforming growth factor (TGF) -β1, fibroblast growth factor (FGF) -B, platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) -AB, insulin-like growth factor (IGF) -1 and PQ concentrations in serum and lung tissue were determined. Results: On the 1st to 7th day after PQ exposure, rats developed lung inflammation, which was aggravated on the 7th to 14th day, and pulmonary fibrosis appeared on the 14th to 56th day. Compared with PQ group, the Ashcroft scores of lung fibrosis in PQ+PFD 200 group and PQ+PDF 300 group decreased significantly in 7th and 28th day (P<0.05), while the Ashcroft score of lung fibrosis in PQ+PFD 100 group had no significant difference (P>0.05). After PQ exposure, the content of hydroxyproline in lung tissue increased gradually and reached the peak value on the 28th day. Compared with the PQ group, the contents of hydroxyproline in the PQ+PFD 200 group decreased at the 7th, 14th and 28th day, and the contents of malondialdehyde decreased at the 3rd and 7th day, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of TNF-α, IL-6 in rat serum and lung tissue reached the peak value on the 7th day after PQ exposure, and the levels of TGF-β1, FGF-B and IGF-1 in rat serum and lung tissue reached the peak value on the 14th day after PQ exposure, and the level of PDGF-AB in rat serum and lung tissue reached the peak value on the 28th day after PQ exposure. Compared with PQ group, the level of serum IL-6 in PQ+PFD 200 group decreased significantly on the 7th day, and serum TGF-β1, FGF-B, PDGF-AB and IGF-1 on the 14th and 28th day were decreased significantly (P<0.05). The levels of TNF-α, IL-6 in lung tissue of rats in PQ+PFD 200 group on the 7th day decreased significantly, and the levels of TGF-β1, FGF-B and IGF-1 in lung tissue of rats on the 14th day were significantly decreased, and the level of PDGF-AB in lung tissue of rats on the 28th day were significantly decreased (P<0.05) . Conclusion: PFD partially alleviates the PQ-induced lung inflammation and fibrosis by inhibiting oxidative stress, reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory and pro-fibrotic cytokines in serum and lung tissue, but does not affect the concentrations of PQ in serum and lung tissue.

In August 2021, three students with diarrhea from the same school visited a local hospital in the S district of Beijing. An epidemic investigation showed that there were more students with diarrhea in the same school and they had one meal together. Campylobacter jejuni was isolated from both patients with diarrhea and asymptomatic food handlers; however, the latter also carried Campylobacter coli. Phylogenomic analysis showed that there was a campylobacteriosis outbreak among the students, and the asymptomatic food handler may have been the source of the infection. Routine inspection and surveillance for Campylobacter is needed for the food producing staff, particularly those cooking in the cafeteria in schools or other public food services.
