The ethics committee of organ transplantation technology and clinical application in a hospital has encountered some difficulties and typical cases in its review work and practice for many years. Sometimes, it is difficult to make a decision in these dilemmas. Based on the previous experience of the hospital in the ethical review of organ donation and transplantation, combined with two typical cases, this paper discussed and analyzed two review points of whether the voluntary unpaid donation and the principle of informed consent were met, and whether the risk-benefit ratio was reasonable, and put forward relevant ethical and legal countermeasure for further research by institutional ethics committees and other parties, in order to provide reference for discussing the practical problems and ethical confusion of ethical review of organ donation and transplantation.

Objective To investigate the sleep quality of cancer patients before and after cancer so as to take effective measures to improve sleep quality of cancer patients. Methods In Xinjiang autonomous region,72 cancer patients in the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy were surveyed for the study group and 61 benign patients as control group. The instruments including self-made general status and sleep status survey before cancer, and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale were used respectively. Results In the study group,40 people had sleep disorders (55.5%) before the cancer, significantly higher than control group people in 15 (24.5%),and the total Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) scores on average (14.00 ±2.39) were significantly higher than the control group (11.19 ± 2.45).The PSQI had seven sleep quality factors, with the statistical differences between two groups (P < 0.05).Conclusions Chronic insomnia patients are more prone to cancer, cancer patients sleep quality is poorer, and the adjustment of the sleep disorders has more importance.Paying more attention to the regulation of cancer patients to sleep helps to improve the patient's quality of life.

DCD WeChat ethical review had its necessity and superiority but problems and confusion as well. For instance, WeChat review time was urgent and limited;WeChat review discussed insufficiently even hard to car-ry out;the methods of WeChat review were limited;the authenticity of audit opinion was difficult to grasp;the re-view data privacy existed hidden danger;the review quality was difficult to guarantee;WeChat conference content file archive was difficult, and so on. As to this, the author put forward the following countermeasures:giving war-ranty on the ethical review time as far as possible;initiating the committee review by the referee and uploading the review information to WeChat group, then ethical reviewers expressing their opinions in real names to ensure data confidentiality and privacy protection; strengthening the ethics committee education for organ transplantation; im-proving the quality of the review committee members and moral cultivation;archiving the WeChat conference infor-mation.

Objective To investigate the effects of comprehensive pain management on pains and recovery of knee function of patients who hadundergone total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods A total of 50 patients who had undergone single-knee TKA surgery were selected and divided into 2 groups of 25 patients each:the study group and the control group. The control group was given patient-controlled epidural analgesia while the study group was given comprehensive pain management. The two groups were compared in terms of score on pain within 7 days after operation, knee joint activity and the incidence of adverse reaction within 10 days after operation(the 1st,3rd,7th,10th day). Results Within 7 days, the scores on pain in the study were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores on the knee joint activity in the study group on the 1st,3rd,7th,10th day were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05)and the incidences of adverse reaction were significantly lower as well (P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive pain management is effective for post-surgery pain control and the hastened TKA patients, and the improved quality of life.

Objective To investigate phenyhexyle isothiocyanate (PHI) modulating histone acetylation and inhibiting Akt signaling pathway in prostate cancer cell line PC3 in vitro. Methods Apoptotic cells were measured by TUNEL assay. Histone acetylated H3, H4 and the Akt protein signaling pathway (Akt, p-Akt, mTOR, p-mTOR, p70S6K and p-p70S6K) were detected by Western blot. Results Apoptotic cells increased after exposure to PHI with concentration dependent. PHI significantly induced an accumulation of histone acetylated H3, H4. The change of Akt, mTOR, p70S6K proteins was not observed. Phosphorylation of Akt (p- Akt), mTOR (p-mTOR) and p70S6K (p-p70S6K) decreased after exposure to PHI for 7 h. Conclusions PHI can induce histone acetylation H3, H4 accumulation. PHI inhibits Akt signaling pathway resulting cell apoptosis. It might be a new anticancer agent.
