Objective:To collate and analyze the screening results of high-risk lung cancer populations in communities in Nanchang from 2018 to 2019, and to explore the lung-positive nodules and risk factors for lung cancer.Methods:Data of the screening subjects in 8 administrative districts and 15 street health service centers in Nanchang city, Jiangxi province from November 2018 to October 2019 were collected, people at high risk of lung cancer was assessed, clinical screening of high-risk groups of lung cancer was conducted by low-dose helical computed tomography (LDCT), and risk factors for suspected lung cancer and lung-positive nodules were analyzed.Results:Of the 25 871 people participated in screening, 5 220 were at high risk for lung cancer and 15 374 without other malignant tumors were at high risk. There were 2 417 cases participated in clinical LDCT screening, including 193 cases of lung-positive nodules, 67 cases of suspected lung cancer, 912 cases of other lung diseases, the positive rate of lung cancer or lung-positive nodules was 10.76% (260/2 417). Univariate analysis showed that age, coarse grain intake, oil intake, housing heating, passive smoking, alcohol consumption and mental trauma were associated with positive pulmonary nodules or lung cancer (all P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that gender, age, housing heating, smoking and drinking were related to the occurrence of lung nodules or lung cancer (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Men are more likely to develop lung cancer or lung-positive nodules than women. The age is an independent risk factor for lung-positive nodules or lung cancer. In a certain range, age will increase the incidence of lung cancer, housing heating may be the protective factor for lung cancer, while smoking and drinking are risk factors.

All of those above serve as challenges for clinical treatment and have been received much more attention from study of multimoics and targeting therapy In this Review, the clinical features of NF1-associated plexiform neurofibromasand, the progress regarding investigation of drug targets and clinical trials for the drug of plexiform neurofibroma will be presented.

Objective To evaluate the clinical features, treatment outcome, and prognostic factors in patients with primary Waldeyer’ s ring diffuse large B?cell lymphoma (WR?DLBCL). Methods This study included 200 patients with a confirmed diagnosis of primary WR?DLBCL admitted to our hospital from 2000 to 2013, who consisted of 50 stage I patients, 125 stage II patients, and 25 stage III?IV patients. Most patients received 4?6 cycles of CHOP or CHOP?based chemotherapy with or without involved field radiotherapy (Waldeyer′s ring+cervical lymph node region). Results The 5?year sample size was 71. The 5?year overall survival (OS), progression?free survival (PFS), and locoregional control (LRC) rates for the whole group were 78%, 72%, and 87%, respectively. In the 175 early stage patients, chemoradiotherapy resulted in significantly higher OS, PFS, and LRC than chemotherapy alone (86% vs. 70%, P= 0?? 001;84% vs. 58%, P= 0?? 000;97% vs. 66%, P= 0?? 000). Univariate analysis showed that age, tumor size, stage, lactate dehydrogenase level, and International Prognostic Index were prognostic factors for OS, PFS, and LRC ( P= 0?? 000?0?? 036), while the prognostic factors for PFS also included Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group score and cervical nodal involvement (P= 0?? 018). Multivariate analysis showed that age and stage were prognostic factors for OS and LRC (P= 0?? 003?0?? 022), and age was the prognostic factor for PFS (P= 0?? 000). Conclusions WR?DLBCL has distinct clinical features and favorable prognoses. For early stage patients, combined?modality therapy results in significantly higher OS, PFS, and LRC.

Objective To evaluate the value of radiotherapy following rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone ( R?CHOP )?based chemotherapy for patients with early?stage Waldeyer’ s ring diffuse large B?cell lymphoma ( WR?DLBCL). Methods Eighty?three patients diagnosed with early?stage WR?DLBCL who were admitted to our hospital from 2000 to 2013 were enrolled in the study. In these patients, twenty?five had stageⅠdisease and fifty?eight had stageⅡdisease. All patients received R?CHOP?based chemotherapy with ( n= 62 ) or without ( n= 21 ) involved?field radiotherapy ( Waldeyer’ s ring plus cervical lymph nodes ) . The overall survival ( OS ) , progression?free survival ( PFS) , and local?regional control ( LRC) rates were calculated using the Kaplan?Meier method. The univariate analysis was performed using the log?rank method. The multivariate analysis was performed using the Cox regression model. Results In all patients, the 5?year sample size was 18;the 5?year OS, PFS, and LRC rates were 89%, 84%, and 90%, respectively. According to the univariate analysis, patient age greater than 60 years, an increased lactate dehydrogenase level, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group ( ECOG ) performance status no less than 2, and International Prognostic Index ( IPI ) no less than 2 were poor prognostic factors. Patient age greater than 60 years, a tumor size no less than 5 cm, ECOG performance status no less than 2, and IPI no less than 2 were influencing factors for PFS and LRC rates. In addition to the treatment with rituximab, patients treated with consolidative radiotherapy had significantly higher PFS and LRC rates (94% vs. 58%, P=0?003;100% vs. 61%, P=0?000) as well as slightly higher OS rate ( 9 4%vs . 7 1%, P=0?0 6 3 ) than those treated without radiotherapy . Conclusions Consolidative radiotherapy following R?CHOP?based chemotherapy significantly improves PFS, LRC, and probably OS rates for early?stage WR?DLBCL. This conclusion still needs to be confirmed by prospective studies with a large sample size.

objective To investigate the recurrence of stroke,clinical prognosis and vascular changes in patients with ischemic stroke due to middle cerebral artery stenosis. Methods The ischemic stroke patients with symptomatic middle cerebral artery stenosis were enrolled continuously and followed up prospectively for six months. The recurrence of ipsilateral stroke,clinical prognosis and dynamic changes of vessels were analyzed. Results Eighty patients were included,and 20.0% of the patients(16 cases)presented with recurrence of ipsilateral ischemic stroke and 56 cases (70.0%)with a good outcome(modified Rankin scale[mRS]≤1)during the 6 months follow-up;38.6% patients (27 cases) presented with significant vascular changes with progression in 12 cases (17.1%)and regression in 15 cases (21.4%). Conclusion The patients with simple symptomatic middle cerebral artery stenosis have an high rate recurrence of ipsilateral stroke but have good prognosis;Lesioned artery of the majority of patients in the short period after stroke was stable,but vascular stenosis in some patients could appear progression or remission.

Objective To explore the effects of lead acetate on free radicals and lipid peroxidation in the cerebral cor?tex, cerebellum, and hippocampus in rat brains. Methods SD rats (n=48), who were just weaned, were randomly divided in?to 4 groups base on their weight. Then the rats were fed with lead acetate in drinking water at the final concentrations of 0 mg/L (deionized water), 200 mg/L, 400 mg/L, 800 mg/L respectively. Blood lead level as well as the hydroxyl free radical inhibiting activity, the levels of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and hippocam?pus were measured 60 days after lead contamination in water. Results Upon lead exposure, blood lead levels increased sig?nificantly as compared with the control. The hydroxyl free radical inhibiting activity in cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and hip?pocampus decreased significantly in a dose dependent manner of lead(P < 0.05). And they all correlated negatively with blood lead level (r=-0.505,-0.414,-0.448, P<0.05). By contrast, blood lead level was positively correlated with H2O2 and MDA in these brain tissues (r=0.301, 0.411, 0.378, and 0.404, 0.324, 0.510,P < 0.05). Conclusion Lead exposure can lead to lipid peroxidation of rat brain tissues through inducing free radicals.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the change pattern of primary and secondary school teachers' work ability with the changes in their mental workload.

METHODSA total of 901 primary and secondary school teachers were selected by random cluster sampling, and then their mental workload and work ability were assessed by National Aeronautics and Space Administration-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) and Work Ability Index (WAI) questionnaires, whose reliability and validity had been tested. The effects of their mental workload on the work ability were analyzed.

RESULTSPrimary and secondary school teachers' work ability reached the highest level at a certain level of mental workload (55.73< mental workload ≤ 64.10). When their mental workload was lower than the level, their work ability had a positive correlation with the mental workload. Their work ability increased or maintained stable with the increasing mental workload. Moreover, the percentage of teachers with good work ability increased, while that of teachers with moderate work ability decreased. But when their mental workload was higher than the level, their work ability had a negative correlation with the mental workload. Their work ability significantly decreased with the increasing mental workload (P < 0.01). Furthermore, the percentage of teachers with good work ability decreased, while that of teachers with moderate work ability increased (P < 0.001).

CONCLUSIONToo high or low mental workload will result in the decline of primary and secondary school teachers' work ability. Moderate mental workload (55.73∼64.10) will benefit the maintaining and stabilization of their work ability.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics and long-term outcome of patients with mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue ( MALT) lymphoma of Waldeyer's ring. Methods Ten patients were retrospectively analyzed. Seven patients had stage ⅠE and 3 patients had stage ⅡE disease. All patients received radiation therapy with a median dose of 40 Gy, and 7 patients also received 1 t0 4 cycles of CHOP-based chemotherapy before radiation. Results The ratio of male to　female was 1∶9. The median age was 58 years. No patient had B symptoms. One patient had elevated LDH level. The complete response rate after treatment was 100％. With median follow-up periods of 90 months, 1 patient died from rectal cancer. One patient developed brain metastasis and was salvaged by radiotherapy. The 5-year overall survival, cancer specific survival and progression-free survival rates were 90％ , 100％ and 80％ , respectively. Conclusions The clinical characteristics of Waldeyer's ring MALT lymphoma were similar to that of nongastric MALT lymphoma. For patients with Waldeyer's ring MALT lymphoma, primary radiotherapy can result in excellent long-term survival.
