Chinese Hospital Management 2024;44(3):53-56
Objective Starting from the actual numbers of health personnel of tertiary public hospitals of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),to quantitatively analyze the influencing factors on the allocation of human resources and obtain a prediction model. Methods The balanced panel data from 517 Tertiary Public TCM Hospitals in the period of 2011-2020 were collected, and the two-way fixed effects model was used to empirically analyze the impact of scale, demand and other factors on the actual number of health personnel in these hospitals.Result The number of beds is a key factor affecting the human resource allocation of Public TCM Hospitals, and various factors such as de-mand,policy,price,efficiency,and administrative management also have significant impacts on the allocation. The demand for outpatient services, government financial support, and efficiency of resource utilization are all promoting factors, while the increase in human resource prices, income generation efficiency, and administrative manage-ment levels have negative effects.A prediction model is proposed. Conclusion The planning principle of matching bed numbers with human resources allocation is in line with the actual environment. When predicting the total personnel allocation or authorized strength, various factors should also be fully considered, which can provide reference for the formulation of human resource policies in Public TCM Hospitals.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(2):229-232
Objective:
The study aimed to explore the relationship between childhood maltreatment (CM) and the Big Five personality traits of middle school students, so as to provide scientific evidence for promoting the healthy development of middle school students personality.
Methods:
A total of 5 724 middle school students from Xuancheng, Hefei and Huaibei of Anhui Province were selected by using a multi stage stratified cluster sampling method to conduct a questionnaire survey, including demographic characteristics, CM experience and Big Five personality traits. Linear regression analysis and canonical correlation analysis were used to explore the associations between CM and the Big Five personality traits.
Results:
Physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, physical neglect, and emotional neglect of middle school students were significantly associated with conscientiousness ( β = -1.71 --2.55) and neuroticism ( β =1.93-3.87) personality traits( P <0.05). Except physical abuse, all other types of CM were significantly associated with extraversion ( β =-1.04--2.32) and agreeableness ( β =-1.07--1.37) personality traits( P <0.05), and only sexual abuse was associated with openness personality trait( β=-0.70, P <0.05). Except for openness personality trait, the relationship between the number of CM experience and the personality traits of middle school students was statistically significant; there was a dose response relationship between the number of CM experiences and the scores of personality traits each dimension( P < 0.05). In the canonical correlation analysis, the canonical correlation coefficient was -0.375( P <0.05). CM experiences were mainly reflected by emotional abuse, emotional neglect and physical neglect (canonical load coefficient was 0.556-0.951). The Big Five personality traits were mainly reflected by neuroticism, conscientiousness and extraversion (canonical load coefficient was -0.702 -0.639).
Conclusion
There is a correlation between CM and the personality traits of middle school students, and prevention of CM is of great significance for promoting the healthy development of middle school students personality.

Depressive disorder ranks as a major bur-den of disease worldwide, yet the current antidepressant medications are limited by frequent non-responsiveness and significant side effects. The lateral septum(LS)is thought to control of depression, however, the cellular and circuit substrates are largely unknown. Here,we identified a subpopulation of LS GABAergic adenosine A2A receptors(A2AR)-positive neurons mediating depres-sive symptoms via direct projects to the lateral habenula(LHb)and the dorsomedial hypothalamus(DMH).Activa-tion of A2AR in the LS augmented the spiking frequency of A2AR-positive neurons leading to a decreased activation of surrounding neurons and the bi-directional manipula-tion of LS-A2AR activity demonstrated that LS-A2ARs are necessary and sufficient to trigger depressive pheno-types.Thus,the optogenetic modulation(stimulation or inhibition)of LS-A2AR-positive neuronal activity or LS-A2AR-positive neurons projection terminals to the LHb or DMH,phenocopied depressive behaviors.Moreover,A2AR are upregulated in the LS in two male mouse mod-els of repeated stress-induced depression. This identifica-tion that aberrantly increased A2AR signaling in the LS is a critical upstream regulator of repeated stress-induced depressive-like behaviors provides a neurophysiological and circuit-based justification of the antidepressant poten-tial of A2AR antagonists, prompting their clinical transla-tion.

Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery 2019;35(8):789-795
Objective:
To investigate the possibility of adipose tissue mesenchymal stem cell-derived microvesicles (ADSC-MVs) to improve the retention volume of fat transplantation.
Methods:
Human adipose tissue was obtained from 5 healthy female patients aged from 20 to 30 years, who came to the hospital for abdominal liposuction. Adipose tissue mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) were acquired by collagenase enzymatic hydrolysis. ADSC-MVs were isolated from the supernatant of cultured ADSCs through ultra-centrifugation, and characterized by transmission electron microscope and PKH26 staining. Sixteen BALB/c-nu nude mice were randomly divided into 2 groups (

Objective To probe into the gaps between the inpatient care needs at public tertiary hospitals and existing nursing services, for measures to improve the quality of nursing service. Methods The simple clinical score(SCS),Barthel index scale, patient care needs questionnaire, and actual service status questionnaire were used in a multi-centered stratified random sampling survey, covering the adult inpatient wards of 72 departments at six tertiary hospitals. The results were subject to a stratified analysis of patient care needs, and a comparative analysis between patient care needs and the actual status of the service. Results Statistically significant differences were found between the nursing needs of patients from among different departments,self-care abilities and those with different conditions(P<0.05); the patient care needs and actual service status in cleaning, eating, excretion, activities, health education, basic treatment and nursing of traditional Chinese medicine in terms of the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the comparative analysis found differences between patient care needs and actual service status. The top five patient care needs which were greater than the actual service status were namely temperature measuring, rehabilitation guidance, routine inspection, observation and psychological care. The top five areas with actual service status greater than patient care needs were namely turnover /back flapping, toilet assistance, temperature measuring, hands washing before and after meals, and herbal fumigation. The top five areas with minimal gap between needs and service were namely oral care, moxibustion, perineal care, assistance in using toilet in bed and manicure. Conclusions Departments, self-care abilities and conditions of patients vary with their needs of nursing.Based on the existing problems between patient care needs and the actual service status, nurses should increase their care in such soft indicators as rehabilitation guidance, routine inspection and disease observation, and fully meet the needs of patients. On the other hand, they are expected to enhance patients′health education and health literacy in such hard indicators as temperature measuring, turnover and back flapping.
