Objective:To elucidate the etiological and epidemiological characteristics and epidemiological patterns of viral acute respiratory infections (ARI) in Shanghai during 2023, with the aim of providing robust laboratory evidence for effective prevention and control strategies against related respiratory diseases and facilitating risk assessment. Methods:Respiratory pathogens were detected in the clinical surveillance specimens submitted by sentinel hospitals through multiplex PCR, as part of the multi-pathogen surveillance of acute respiratory infections in Shanghai during 2023. The obtained detection result were statistically analyzed in conjunction with sample information. Results:The positive detection rate of viral pathogens in 2023 was 21.17% (984/4 648), with rates of 33.53% (504/1 503) observed in ILI cases and 15.62% (480/3 145) in SARI cases. Influenza A virus (FluA) was the predominant virus detected, accounting for 13.7% (637/4 648). Other viruses identified in the surveillance samples included influenza B virus (Flu B), human rhinovirus/enterovirus (HRV/HEV), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), human metapneumovirus (HMPV), parainfluenza virus (PIV), adenovirus (ADV) and human bocavirus (HBoV). Regarding temporal distribution, HRV/HEV and RSV exhibited the highest detection rates during the second quarter at 2.27% each (28/1 236). PIV had its peak during the third quarter at a rate of 2.49% (35/1 405), and HMPV showed prevalence mainly during the third and fourth quarters, with detection rates of 2.63% (37/1 405) and 2.35% (32/1 360), respectively. Conclusions:In acute respiratory infection surveillance cases in Shanghai in 2023, Flu A emerged as the predominant respiratory pathogen. The detection rate of HMPV ranked second only to Flu A, while other respiratory viruses such as HRV/HEV, RSV, and PIV were detected during different seasons and co-circulated. The prevalence of various respiratory viruses varied among different infected populations and over times.

Color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic instrument was used to examine the deep vein vessels of the lower limbs of patients, and quantitative analysis of contrast-enhanced ultrasound was performed to record the color Doppler detection results of patients. Quantitative parameters of contrast-enhanced ultrasound including time to peak (TIP), derived peak intensity (DPI), slope of ascending branch of curve (C) were compared between patients with deep vein thrombosis of lower extremities and normal patients. According to the onset time of symptoms of lower extremity thrombus group, patients were divided into acute stage, subacute stage and chronic stage, and the thrombus elasticity score and thrombus strain ratio among the three subgroups were compared. Results:Angiography results showed that 82 patients were diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis of lower extremities. The Kappa = 0.904, sensitivity was 95.00%, specificity was 91.43%, accuracy was 93.33%, positive prediction rate was 92.68%, and negative prediction rate was 94.12% by using contrast-enhanced ultrasonography and angiography in the diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis of lower extremity. The Kappa = 0.616, the sensitivity was 77.55%, specificity was 88.46%, accuracy was 81.33%, positive prediction rate was 92.68%, negative prediction rate was 67.65% by using ultrasonography and angiography in the diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities. The TIP level in patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs was higher than that in normal patients, the DPI and C levels were lower than that in normal patients: (40.21 ± 12.34) s vs. (13.50 ± 4.59) s, (- 32.27 ± 7.56) dB vs. (- 11.33 ± 3.07) dB, (1.88 ± 0.40) dB/s vs. (4.75 ± 1.34) dB/s, there were statistical differences ( P<0.05). There were 28 cases of acute stage thrombosis, 22 cases of subacute stage thrombosis, and 32 cases of chronic stage thrombosis. There were statistically significant differences in thrombus elasticity score and thrombus strain ratio among patients with lower extremity thrombosis at different periods. Thrombus elasticity score and thrombus strain ratio of patients with acute stage thrombus were the lowest. Conclusions:Quantitative analysis of contrast-enhanced ultrasound has good consistency in the diagnosis of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis after total hip arthroplasty, and has certain clinical significance for staging diagnosis of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis.

Radiation Oncology Journal 2023;41(2):129-139
Purpose:
To analyze the gene mutation, immune infiltration and tumor growth of primary tumor and distant tumor under different treatment modes.
Materials and Methods:
Twenty B16 murine melanoma cells were injected subcutaneously into the of both sides of the thigh, simulating a primary tumor and a secondary tumor impacted by the abscopal effect, respectively. They were divided into blank control group, immunotherapy group, radiotherapy group, and radiotherapy combined immunotherapy group. During this period, tumor volume was measured, and RNA sequencing was performed on tumor samples after the test. R software was used to analyze differentially expressed genes, functional enrichment, and immune infiltration.
Results:
We found that any treatment mode could cause changes in differentially expressed genes, especially the combination treatment. The different therapeutic effects might be caused by gene expression. In addition, the proportions of infiltrating immune cells in the irradiated and abscopal tumors were different. In the combination treatment group, T-cell infiltration in the irradiated site was the most obvious. In the immunotherapy group, CD8+ T-cell infiltration in the abscopal tumor site was obvious, but immunotherapy alone might have a poor prognosis. Whether the irradiated or abscopal tumor was evaluated, radiotherapy combined with anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (anti-PD-1) therapy produced the most obvious tumor control and might have a positive impact on prognosis.
Conclusion
Combination therapy not only improves the immune microenvironment but may also have a positive impact on prognosis.

Objective:
To investigate the effect of denture stomatitis of selective laser melting (SLM) titanium alloy for removable partial denture frameworks.
Methods :
Twenty patients with dentition defects in our hospital were divided into two groups according to the different methods of creating a removable partial denture framework: the SLM group and casting group. The success rate, placement rate, masticatory efficiency and incidence of denture stomatitis were compared. Experimental data were analyzed with SPSS20.0.
Results :
The success rate of the SLM framework group was 100.00%, which was higher than that of the casting group (90.00%) (P < 0.01). The rate of framework placement in the SLM group was slightly lower than that in the casting group (P < 0.05). The masticatory efficiency of the SLM group was higher than that of the casting group (0.783 ± 0.030 vs. 0.699 ± 0.037, P < 0.001). The incidence of denture stomatitis (10.00%) in the SLM group was significantly lower than that in the casting group (30.00%) (P < 0.001).
Conclusion
SLM is superior to the traditional casting method in mastication efficiency and reducing the incidence of denture stomatitis. This method can meet the clinical requirements, but the accuracy of the long-term stent needs to be improved.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2019;23(10):1552-1557
BACKGROUND: Poor root canal filling or poor post-core crown restoration can cause microleakage between the implant material and the tooth, leading to secondary infection of the periapical tissue and affecting long-term effect of tooth restoration. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the microleakage in a glucose penetration model when post space preparation is performed with different timing and remaining lengths. METHODS: Eighty-six freshly extracted mandibular premolars from the Orthodontics Department of Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University were randomly divided into eight groups: positive control group (n=10) undertook root canal preparation; negative control group (n=10) undertook root canal preparation and filling but not post space preparation; A1, B1 and C1 groups (n=11 per group) were subjected to root canal filling immediately followed by post space preparation with the filling material of 4 mm, 5 mm, and 6 mm in length, respectively; A2, B2 and C2 groups were subjected to root canal filling and 1 week after filling, the three groups underwent post space preparation with the filling material of 4, 5 and 6 mm in length, respectively. At 48 hours after post space preparation, the integration of root canal wall and filling material was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The glucose microleakage model was used to detect the amount of glucose leaking from the crown to the root in each group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) Under the scanning electron microscope, the fillings were most tightly bonded to the root canal wall in C1, while microcracks were most apparent in A2. (2) According to the measurement of glucose penetration model, A2 showed more microleakage than A1 (P < 0.05), B2 showed more microleakage than B1 (P < 0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference between C1 and C2 (P> 0.05). No significant difference was found among A1, B1 and C1 (P> 0.05), B2 showed no statistical difference in the microleakage from A2 and C2 (P> 0.05), but A2 showed more microleakage than C2 (P′ < 0.017). These results indicate that immediate post space preparation is superior to delayed preparation in reducing the microleakage. For immediate post space preparation, the remaining length of the filling material has no effect on the microleakage, but for delayed preparation, the filling material of at least 5 mm in length should be preserved.

Objective:
To investigate the physical properties of Ti-6Al-4V clasps generated by selective laser melting (SLM) with different construction directions and to compare these clasps with cast clasps, which could provide a basis for fabricating SLM clasps with high precision and excellent mechanical properties.
Methods:
Ti-6Al-4V clasps were fabricated by SLM at 0 degrees (SLM0 group), 45 degrees (SLM45 group) and 90 degrees (SLM90 group) (n = 12). Twelve clasps were cast by the casting method as the control group. Meanwhile, four metal abutments were cast randomly as the abutments of the four groups. X-ray was used to detect cracks in the clasps of each group. The roughness of the clasps was measured by confocal microscopy, the fitness tests between clasps and abutment were processed by stereomicroscopy, and the microstructure of clasps in each group was observed under a metallographic microscope to evaluate the physical properties.
Results :
There were 0-8 visible cracks in the casting group but no obvious defects in the SLM groups. The maximum surface roughness was observed in the cast group (18.102 ± 3.762) μm, while the minimum roughness was observed in the SLM90 group (5.942 ± 1.486) μm (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in surface roughness between the SLM0 group [(8.711 ± 2.378) μm] and the SLM45 group [(8.513 ± 1.161) μm]. Fitness was worst in the casting group [(68.445 ± 14.876) μm] and best in the SLM90 group [(33.417 ± 5.880) μm] (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in fitness between the SLM0 group [(52.917 ± 12.102) μm] and the SLM45 group [(50.889 ± 7.011) μm]. In addition, the growth direction of the β grains was roughly parallel to the build direction, and acicular α grains were present between β grains. SLM was composed of fine grains, while the cast group had large grains.
Conclusions
Specimens generated by SLM had finer grains than cast specimens. In addition, SLM90 clasps had the highest fitness and the lowest surface roughness.
