With the rapid development of information technology， research on ancient TCM books has shifted from the traditional collation and digitization into intelligent knowledge service， thereby achieving the deep integration of ancient TCM books collation and clinical needs. Based on the clinical problem and knowledge element theory， we implemented in-depth indexing and knowledge mining for 600 kinds of ancient TCM books， built a knowledge sharing service platform for ancient TCM books by integrating database， cloud platform， knowledge graph and other technologies， and carried out the thematic literature research and developed databases for four major diseases including stroke， heart failure， liver cirrhosis， and diabetes. The digital intelligence products have been applied in hundreds of hospitals for evaluation and feedback. Finally， through "digital processing plus intelligent application"， the two-way interaction between ancient TCM books and current clinical practice is realized， and the path and paradigm of ancient TCM books knowledge serving the modern prevention and control of major diseases is formed， providing reference for the innovative utilization of ancient TCM books.

Objective To compare the dosimetric characteristics of thyroid between intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in patients with left-sided breast cancer after modified radical mastectomy. Methods Thirty patients with left-sided breast cancer who underwent adjuvant radiotherapy after modified radical mastectomy at the Huangpu Branch of the Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, from December 2021 to May 2023, were selected as the study subjects, and IMRT and VMAT were used with a target prescription dose of 50 Gy/25 times. The target dose parameters of the two plans, including the mean dose (D_mean) and the dose-volume limit for organs at risk (V_x, x represents dose), were compared. Results The conformity index of VMAT was higher than that of IMRT (P＜0.001). Compared with VMAT, IMRT plan significantly reduced the V₅、V₁₀、D_mean of heart, the V₅ of right lung and the D_mean of right breast, while it significantly increased the V₂₀ of left lung (P＜0.001). There was no statistically significant difference in V₅ and V₁₀ of the left thyroid between IMRT and VMAT. However, the V₂₀, V₃₀, V₄₀, and D_mean of left and whole thyroid, and the V₁₀ and D_mean of right thyroid were significantly lower in IMRT than those in VMAT (P＜0.001). Conclusions Both IMRT and VMAT plans can meet the clinical dosimetric requirements, among which IMRT has lower thyroid exposure dose and is more suitable for patients with high cardiac requirements.

Objective:To explore the cognition and intention of patients with lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT) to participate in patient-reported outcomes (PROs), so as to provide references for the promotion, application, and practice of PROs in lower limb DVT patients in China.Methods:This study adopted the phenomenological qualitative research method. From February to June 2023, 13 lower limb DVT patients admitted to Peking Union Medical College Hospital were selected for semi-structured in-depth interviews. Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used for analyzing and summarizing data.Results:Thirteen patients with lower limb DVT highly recognized their own value in participating in PROs, namely health benefits, prevention of DVT complications, and reduction of disease uncertainty. Lower limb DVT patients expected to receive support from healthcare professionals, families, and portable and simplified reporting formats to promote their participation in PROs. From the patient 's own perspective, they perceived that insufficient attention to DVT caused by lack of awareness of the hazards of DVT and limited understanding of PROs made it difficult for them to participate in PROs. Conclusions:Lower limb DVT patients have a high intention to participate in PROs. The application and promotion of PROs in lower limb DVT patients in China require joint support from various sectors of society, among which strengthening effective health education for patients and their families and providing multi-channel reporting forms are the key to promoting of PROs.

Objective:To construct a tool to evaluate the knowledge, attitude, and practice of nurses in the prevention of thrombosis related to peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) .Methods:From December 2022 to April 2023, based on the theory of knowledge, attitude, and practice, a preliminary draft of the PICC-related Thrombosis Prevention Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses was formed through systematic literature review, two rounds of Delphi expert consultations, and pre-survey. In May 2023, convenience sampling was used to select 573 nurses from Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College Hospital as the research subject for a survey to conduct item analysis, validity testing, and reliability testing on the questionnaire.Results:The final version of the PICC-related Thrombosis Prevention Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses included 20 knowledge items, 10 attitude items, and 10 practice items. In the content validity of the questionnaire, the average content validity index was 0.984, the overall consensus content validity index was 0.850, and the item level content validity index was 0.857 to 1.000. Exploratory factor analysis extracted three common factors with eigenvalues>1.000, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 64.540% and factor loadings of 0.450 to 0.908 for each item. The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.895, the half reliability coefficient was 0.947, and the retest reliability coefficient was 0.966.Conclusions:The PICC-related Thrombosis Prevention Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses has good reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate PICC-related thrombosis prevention knowledge, attitude, and practice among nurses.

Quality-sensitive indicators in nursing, as standards for evaluating nursing quality management, can quantitatively determine nursing outcomes. This article provides a comprehensive review of the framework and content of quality-sensitive indicators for venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention nursing care. The indicators are discussed from three dimensions: structure, process, and outcome. The aim is to provide a reference for the future development of unified and standardized quality-sensitive indicators for VTE prevention nursing care, in order to guide clinical nurses in standardized preventive practices.

Cancer-associated thrombosis (CAT) is a common complication and cause of death in cancer patients. Accurately and efficiently identifying high-risk groups for CAT using risk assessment models and implementing targeted early prevention is key. Although numerous CAT risk assessment models currently exist, their predictive capabilities vary across different populations. This article provides a comprehensive review of CAT risk assessment models and their application status, aiming to offer a reference for clinical nursing staff to understand and choose appropriate risk assessment tools.

Objective:To develop the Cancer-associated Thrombosis (CAT) Prevention Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses, and conduct reliability and validity tests.Methods:This study was a questionnaire development study. Guided by the theory of knowledge, attitude, and practice, an initial CAT Prevention Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses was formed through literature review, group discussion, two rounds of expert consultation, and pre-survey. From April to May 2023, convenience sampling was used to select 700 in-service nurses from Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College as the research subject, and the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested.Results:A total of 700 questionnaires were distributed, and 593 valid questionnaires were collected, with a valid response rate of 84.71% (593/700). The final version of the CAT Prevention Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses included three dimensions of knowledge, attitude, and practice, with a total of 39 items. The scale-level content validity index ( S- CVI) was 1.000, with an average S- CVI of 0.971 and an item-level CVI (I- CVI) of 0.860 to 1.000. Exploratory factor analysis extracted a total of seven common factors, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 77.376%. The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.937, and the Cronbach's α coefficients for each dimension were 0.923, 0.987, and 0.979. The half reliability coefficient was 0.984. After two weeks, the reliability coefficients for each dimension of retesting were 0.959, 1.000, and 0.994. Conclusions:The CAT Prevention Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Questionnaire for Nurses developed in this study has good reliability and validity, and can be used as an evaluation tool for the cognition of clinical nurses in CAT prevention.

Background/Aims: Previous studies reveal that immune-mediated neuroinflammation plays a key role in the etiology of esophageal achalasia. However, the understanding of leucocyte phenotype and proportion is limited. This study aim to evaluate the phenotypes of leukocytes and peripheral blood mononuclear cells transcriptomes in esophageal achalasia. Methods: We performed high-dimensional flow cytometry to identified subsets of peripheral leukocytes, and further validated in lower esophageal sphincter histologically. RNA sequencing was applied to investigate the transcriptional changes in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of patients with achalasia. Cell-type Identification by Estimating Relative Subsets of RNA Transcripts (CIBERSORT) was used for estimating the immune cell types. A differential gene expression analysis was performed and the differential expressed genes were subjected to gene ontology, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes network, protein-protein interaction network construction. Results: An imbalance between innate and adaptive immune cells occurred in achalasia. Specifically, neutrophils and CD8+ T cells increased both in peripheral blood and lower esophageal sphincter in achalasia. Eosinophils decreased in peripheral blood but massively infiltrated in lower esophageal sphincter. CIBERSORT analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells RNA sequencing displayed an increased prevalence of CD8+ T cells. 170 dysregulated genes were identified in achalasia, which were enriched in immune cells migration, immune response, etc. Proton pump inhibitor analysis revealed the intersections and gained 7 hub genes in achalasia, which were IL-6, Toll-like receptor 2, IL-1β, tumor necrosis factor, complement C3, and complement C1q A chain. Conclusion Patients with achalasia exhibited an imbalance of systematic innate and adaptive immunity, which may play an important role in the development of achalasia.

Objective:To explore the research hotspot and trend of venous thromboembolism (VTE) nursing for tumor patients in China, so as to provide reference and inspiration for nurses to carry out nursing research and clinical practice.Methods:The academic journal papers of nursing research with VTE as the core of tumor patients were retrieved in the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang Data and VIP. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to February 11, 2022. CiteSpace 5.8. R3 software was used for paper keyword co-occurrence, clustering and mutation analysis.Results:A total of 1 678 papers were included, and the number of VTE nursing papers of tumor patients in China showed an exponential growth trend. "Gynecological tumor" was the tumor type of the most frequent concern. "Perioperative period" "PICC" and "chemotherapy" were the main research scenarios. "Lung cancer" "ovarian cancer" "risk assessment" "preventive nursing" and "quality of life" were the frontiers of research.Conclusions:The VTE nursing research of tumor patients in China is on the trend of development under the guidance of demand and driven by national policies. It is suggested that Chinese nursing scholars should deepen the specific risk assessment and detailed prevention in this field, strengthen the continuous follow-up outside the hospital, and continue to promote the improvement of evidence-based nursing, quality of life and other related research. It can also be combined with foreign nursing research and domestic and foreign medical research in this field to clarify further research directions.

Objective:To investigate the knowledge level, compliance, attitude and demand of parents of myopic children regarding prevention and control of myopia.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 642 children and their parents who visited the ophthalmology clinic of Beijing Tongren Hospital, Capital Medical University from June to September 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were investigated with Self-made Questionnaire on Cognitive Behavior and Demand for Myopia Prevention and Control. A total of 642 questionnaires were sent out in this study, and 638 were effectively received with effective recovery of 99.38% (638/642) .Results:The scores of knowledge, behavior and attitude of 638 parents in the cognitive behavior questionnaire for myopia prevention and control were 13 (11, 15) , 7 (6, 8) , 8 (8, 9) , respectively. 78.68% (502/638) of parents of myopic children thought that they were in great need of myopia prevention and control knowledge. 52.66% (336/638) of parents of myopic children preferred to obtain knowledge about prevention and control of myopia through face-to-face explanation by medical personnel.Conclusions:Parents of myopia children have poor knowledge of myopia prevention and control, and their compliance with prevention and control is at a moderate level. Most parents have a positive attitude towards myopia prevention and control, hoping to receive a reasonable and efficient new model of myopia prevention and control health education to improve their knowledge level, and to cooperate with medical institutions, schools, and the government to take corresponding myopia prevention and control intervention measures to reduce the incidence of high myopia and improve the visual health of myopia children.
